The YCM War: Glitches Plot [Accepting/Started] {PG-17}

(Apologizes for the wait. Kept coming back here and finding no direct replies to my posts so I started to check less frequently. I hadn't realized I had fully been brought into the story yet, nor that so much had been posted. If ever this happens again, please PM me as I always check and respond to PMs.)

As it had turned out, I had lost track of time and dosed of in the lobby, a bit of startling thing to have happen when Dane came barreling through the base shouting my name. I still feel rather hurt that no one realized I had been in the base the entire time and were only trying to find me NOW, but I guess it was better than being forgotten completely. "Oh, Dane..." I replied still holding the Cider in my hand and a look of unease and Exhaustion on my face still. " I'm sorry, that is your name right? My heads been kinda foggy today. Anyway, what mission? I've been waiting here for a while and haven't really been told anything until now."

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

"A fog based assault, eh? No problem, you must be weaker than an F rank if your resorting to fog tricks." Biggs said, taking more energy into his axe and slamming it into the ground, still one handed. The resulting uproar of his attack was enough pressure to blow the fog away. Ninjew was still in his place but Nic was probably gone as to be expected. "Come out, worm, if your meant to die there's no better place than on the battlefield my friend!" Biggs shouted and started to scope Nic out...

[Ultimate Assassin Ninjew]

As Biggs spun around and fired off his attack, Ninjew stayed where he was. Then just before the attack hit, he used sonido to move to the side to avoid the hit by a foot. The movement was quick and fast, which made it seem like Biggs had missed. A small grin appeared on Ninjew's face as he disappeared in another sonido as Biggs began to focus on Nic. Then moments later he appeared in front of Biggs and punched him in the ribs with his right fist. He would also knee Biggs in his right knee. Each attack came within seconds of each other, meaning Biggs would have to attempt to block or try to dodge one. "The weapon you weild is your strength, while mine is only an accessory to it," Ninjew said.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

[i]Insolent little fool...[/i] Biggs dropped his axe in an instant, freeing both his hands to grab Ninjews hand and his knee. "Assuming how strong your opponent is just by his weapon is foolish." Biggs still had him in his grip and was now spinning over his head like he was pizza dough, faster and faster and faster it went. "Hells Marry Go Round!" With a great deal of force and power he launched Ninjew through the air with a fast pace, maintaining the circular shape the grapple is named for, and was propelling Ninjew's body straight for the wall of the Nexus base. "Don't feel bad, there are people in Verdin who don't my superior strength and fists are my best weapons, you just happened to be unlucky today." Biggs said and then picked up his axe with one hand still and slammed the pointed tip on its bottom hard into the ground. "I can't use you for this fight bud, but we'll meet again when it's over." Biggs said and then started walking towards the Nexus base, wanting to meet Ninjew there, with one straight punch to the cent of the two gates they flew open to welcome him into the bases grounds...

[Sploda]

"Stop? Why should I? Alright fine, Cutting the Illusion..." Creator said as he stepped out of the nearby wall. The Battle scene faded and everything was unharmed, or at least the stuff after the IGNORE was destroyed. Creator pushed a button on his watch and a series of Pylons appeared around him. "Illusion Pylons, as long as you don't believe what is happening, you can't be harmed. It's all in his head. He'll wake up if the shock didn't kill him." Creator said casually referring to Jake. "As for you Broken, you don't have command over me, regardless of who or what you think you are. Now I'm heading back to the lab, PROTO come on." Creator said as he began to jog back to the lab.

[The Warden]

Broken ran after Creator in attempts to catch up. [i]'That idiot; we're trying to appear like the good guys here or the tragic heroes. Him running around blowing s**t up is in no ways the best public relations. Man, and I doubt Nexev is even going to care what a joke. I can't believe this guy, someone who we would literally have to pay to keep around is our second-in-command'[/i] he thought as he began to catch up. 'Get back here' he shouted to Creator.

[Sploda]

"Why don't you keep up instead?" Creator countered. Creator didn't slow his pace at all. [i]I don't need people like him, after this is over I'll have everything I need and then I'm out of here. We are out of here...[/i] Creator thought to himself. He didn't really like working with Broken, but it was better than being alone he guessed. Creator didn't like guessing.

"Broken, do you like working with me? Creator asked out of the blue.

[The Warden]

Broken stared at Creator. 'Not if I can help it Creator. However, don't bother changing the subject right now. In case you forgot WE'RE THE 'GOOD' GUYS HERE!' he shouted, using finger quotes on 'good'. 'We're not trying to openly cause devastation until the right moment, that's why we got the Verdin to do the muscle work for us, so we can go about without Nexus or Cirque badgering us. Or did you forget the trillion times Nex told us?' he inquired.

[Sploda]

[i]Mental note made and filed.[/i] Creator thought before he replied, "Which is why I used an illusion. Besides if anyone asks, we can just say we were running virtual simulations. Knowing them, they wouldn't know any better." Creator sighed. He had planned out everything. Who was Broken to question him anyway? Was Creator not Nexev's chosen second in command? was it not he who discovered POS and created the IGNORE? Why then should he have to explain himself to one such as Broken? More importantly, who was Broken to question his methods when he doesn't even know what is on the line?

[The Warden]

Broken laughed, but stopped instantly. 'Ah ha ha ha, yes, weapons test on innocent civilians; that's perfectly logical isn't it?' he said with grin, which cracked immediataly. 'Wait, no, no that's not it at all. Because, ya know, attacking civilians is perhaps the dumbets thing we can do right now isn't it? Illusion or not causing harm puts us all in a bad light. I don't give two s**ts about what it is you can do or what it is you have done. When you sully the name of Test Tube Genesis you really get me keyed off' he shouted.

[Sploda]

"In the event of another 4chan invasion, they would do exactly as I did and attack civilians at will. As such I'm sure that they will buy it, and like us all the more for coming up with a way to stop it." Creator countered. "Besides when did you get all high and mighty anyway? Don't you have a crystal to work on or something?" Creator said with a slight snarl. He never considered alchemy a real science and only knew basic bio-engineering for help with his Androids.

[Andx]

As Black disappeared into the floor, Andx knew he'd be in New Forum much faster than he or Lora could manage. Giving a brief little sigh at the matter, he focused in on the situation. Plans were to remain unchanged. That meant Dane and Spazix were to report to Nexus and that Andx was to leave to scout out Test Tube Genesis with Black. But then there was the matter of Jake and Lora. Jake was in a tight spot in New Forum, and as Lora asked if anyone was to be assisting her father, Andx knew he wouldn't just be able to go along with plans and ignore Jake. It was a decision that had to be made and Andx knew he wouldn't enjoy either choice all that much.

Keeping the pace he had been running at, Andx looked back at Lora to address her questions about her father.
"I can only hope that Black is heading off to help him now. He'll get there much faster than we will. Dane and Spazix will go off to Nexus as planned. All I need to do is be sure they get off in the right direction. Then you and I will go help Jake out. It's not directly following Black's plan but I won't leave Jake to fight alone. Now then, Lora, we'll need to get there quickly. After we see the other two off we'll need to run as fast as we can manage." Andx said. And so he'd decided to go about helping Jake. In a way it would follow Black's orders. The original plan was to have the top three, meaning Black, Andx, and Jake, head off to Test Tube Genesis anyway so getting Jake out of danger would let him get Jake in on that move.
"Man what stupid rationalizations I can make." Andx thought as he continued moving to the base's entrance with Lora.

[Proto]

The PROTO unit was currently recovering from the depletion of his POS reserves. He then realized that the team was evacuating and quickly ran up to the scientists. "I apologize for making you wait master, overuse of the core forced me to pause for a second, oh I see you also had Master Broken along with you as well, how may I be of assistance for this tactical retreat?" PROTO's engines thirsted for more fodder to power himself, but he had already made his master wait long enough, he would get more on the next mission they were assigned.

[The Warden]

Broken pouted at that comment. 'I may have, what's it to you? Magical artifacts don't just work themselves do they? And most of the stuff I've dug up has been inoperable or just won't break open; not that I see you doing anything about it. Cause at least I'm doing my part for Nex's scheme; magic binds that seal and I'm going to find a way to break it or die trying. Maybe instead of wasting time playing with your toys you could be of some goddamn use to us' he shouted, befor epanting heavily. 'I feel better now' he added.

[Sploda]

Creator looked at PROTO. "Relax when we get back to base I'll use one of the reserves I have stored up for you. For now you can just come with us back to the lab." Creator then directed his attention towards Broken. "For your information the Pylons I used to generate that illusion have another function as well. If I can concentrate a pure stream of POS through them then I can create a sort of Drill that shatters Magic. However I require two things first, one is that Crystal of yours to work so I have a sixth Pylon and I need to finish my project, which I couldn't since I was busy helping the ineffective Verdin." Creator shot back. He was defiantly happy to be rid of Broken when this was all over.

[Jake the Sage]

Lora had been running with Andx for a couple minutes while he deliberated on her question. She was begining to have doubts that they'd go and assist her father since he had gotten himself into the perdicament. Thinking in her own mind she eventually settled on the idea of stooping down to doing the childish 'pouty face' that Jake and Nic always hated to see if it'd convince Andx. Luckily, for either her or Andx depending on your view of things, her new ally had decided to go about granting her request. He was bound to do what his boss had told him, but he used a loophole which would allow them to go save Jake and be following orders at the same time. First they would see off two other members and then head off to assist Jake. Trying to hide back tears she nodded her head when Andx finished, ". . . we'll need to run as fast as we can manage."

Nodding her head she sent energy to the soles of her feet ans shot forward, blasting past Andx at breakneck speeds, and then leapt whilst she ran. Turning in midair she shouted back to Andx, "Then hurry up so we ca go help dad faster Andx!!!"

The fog created by Nic had been easily blown away. The ally he had stood with prior was taken down almost as easily and thrown into the Nexus Headquarters. The enemy, Biggs was his name, didn't seem to think that Nic owuld be coming abck and had turned his attention to Ninjew specifically; which was all too perfect. Biggs had discarded his axe by jutting it into the ground before heading towards Ninjew, talking about how his fists were his greatest weapons and that it was 'foolish to think a person's strength was measured by their weapon', and he finally stopped in front of the locked gates. No key required, he simply gave it one good kick and launched the metallic gates off their hinges before crashing back to the ground. Stepping forward the ring of metal still echoed back as Nic took his chance and bursted out of the ground behind Biggs and wrapped his arms around the enemy's neck. Holding on tightly he held his blade, which was the same one prior that had been attatched to his arm, to Biggs' neck and was pressing down hard; so hard the slightest movement would easily slice open Biggs' juggular. Tense Nic held his position as he spoke, "And it is foolish to believe that rank makes the fighter weak or strong . . ."

[i]"Well now this is nice,"[/i] Jake thought to himself as his conciousness faded back and forth. The attack had been dranining on him and he hadn't even realized that it was all for naught, his vision having left and his hearing beein nothing more than a muffled mic\xture of noise once Creator came out of hiding. He never heard Creator or Broken's conversation, though he did know they were there thanks to their energy, and fully expected to feel the end of a weapon stabbing through his chest. Yet as the sensation of the two enemy's energy grew distant, no stabbing sensation; they had left him. Laughing to himself Jake's mind finally fell into unconciousness while the wind gently moved some of his hair . . .

[The Warden]

'The Verdin WERE ineffective until we outfitted them with some new toys Creator. That's why the leader himself came to our headquarters. As for your pylons, the crystal matrixes of most of the stuff I excavate, with the tools you provide by the way, always end up damaged. The one in my ray gun is the least damaged of them all. If you could develop something that can remove the crystal from the ground without being damaged, I would really like to see that, otherwise, get stuffed'.

[Sploda]

"Broken... I thought I told you to use the gravity gun? IT modifies the surrounding gravity to allow removal easy. If you need another then I'll get you one." Creator said with a sigh. Now his plans were set back a couple of steps. [i]Why is it that everyone around me is incompetent? I can't even have a decent fight with anyone anymore. This world has gone to the wussies.[/i] Creator concluded as the base was within sight now.

[The Warden]

'Yes, brilliant idea, gravity gun. Because altering the physics of the universe totally works out in removing stones buried under hard rock that needs to be carefully removed and the gem extracted, I'm sure ripping it out would not damage it in any way idiot' he countered, but he muttered the idiot part. Creator always was a pain int he ass to work with. Always smug and composed, it was sickening how a loose cannon like him was in such a position of authority because of all his campy inventions.

[Sploda]

"I was referring to the rock numb-skull. After that you use the PRECISION laser cutter like most people do. Or do you enjoy swinging a pickax like the uncivilized?" Creator said agitated. "Enough I don't want to deal with you anymore, just get me a crystal and then our mission will be complete." Creator finished as they reached a secondary entrance to the base. he opened it and walked in, heading towards his R&D section. [i]How did suck a baka make it around here anyway?[/i] Creator thought to himself.

[The Warden]

Broken growled as Creator walked off with PROTO. 'God I hate him' he sighed and drew his gun. He raised his head upwards to see a flock of birds flying across the sky. He took aim and fired, the beam flying across and striking the birds. They turned into a school of swuid and splattered to the ground. 'This gun is still stuck on the tentacle setting for some reason. Blargh, as soon as I figure out how to fix this gem I will be a force to be feared' he declared.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Biggs was caught by surprise, yes, and was grabbed by the enemy. Nic's blade was now on his neck so that he couldn't move or act without getting stabbed in the jugular, but something was happening. A thin coat of energy was coming from Biggs' body, he wasn't moving at all to create this energy. Nic's blade was pushed back far enough for Biggs to act without getting stabbed. He suddenly grabbed both of Nic's wrists and by tilting his body forward and stepping back he was able to use Nic's own body weight against him to setup another grapple. "Devil's Screwdriver!" Biggs said, and launched Nic's straight body spinning, as if he was the drill bit part of a drill, and he was headed straight for the hard ground where he would be "drilled" into the ground by the force of the throw. Bigss sat on the ground and exhaled. "You guys take a lot out of a fella, we're nowhere's near done this fight and I'm already feeling it!" Biggs said and then the white energy that was surrounding him dissipated...

[Phantom Roxas]

Roxas shook his head, already regretting leaving Ninjew in charge. If there was a way to fix Ninjew's attitude, Roxas would like to know what that would be. Focusing on more important matters, Roxas replied to Shadow. "Test Tube Genesis and Verdin? Well, I suppose it shouldn't be a surprise. We've teamed up, so it's to be expected our enemies would since we're a common enemy. Shadow, thank you for the information. If Nexev's working with Verdin, then I see no reason to hesitate bringing him down. Shadow, would you care to show me the where you last saw those from either faction? It may be time for me to step in."

[Shadow Zero]

Shadow nodded his head once and turned to head out of the base. "This way." Shadow walked towards the stairs and opened the door, then dashed down them reaching the ground floor within seconds. He expected that Roxas would follow since he wished to know where the fighting was and continued on until he was outside of Nexus headquraters, where he saw Ninjew and Nic fighgting Biggs. "Crap, an enemy at the gates." Shadow turned his head so as to be able to see Roxas and said "The fighting is over at the west wall of New Forum. Just go that way and you should be there soon." As he spoke, Shadow pointed in the direction that he had come from, then jumped forward, quickly charging a Chaos Spear in his hands, prepared to help in the fight against Biggs. He then saw Nic getting thrown and threw a Chaos Spear at Biggs while continuing to charge the other one. "Chaos...Control!" Everything seemed to slow down as Shadow began moving outside of the normal spacetime spectrum and jumped over to where Nic was, grabbing a hold of him and landing on the ground. [i]You should be more careful kid.[/i] Shadow though to himself as he set Nic down on the ground and stood up again, his Chaos Spear now charged to the point where it actually took on the form of an actual sphere composed of chaotic energies and was golden in color. "Let's go." Still moving outside of the Normal Spacetime spectrum, Shadow teleported behind Biggs and made to stab him in the back with the spear he now had in hand.

ooc: I will post how moving outside of the spacetime spectrum works and how countering it is possible in the ooc thread. Don't expect it to be easy though.

[Final Fantasy Revolution]

Biggs rolled and stood to dodge the thrown spear but didn't expect the same person to be behind him the spear he was holding got him right in the back. "Keh, well well. This was quite a surprise." Biggs than coated his hands wit energy and quickly turned to grab the spear this new gentleman was holding. "That was a good shot ya got in there, but piercing through my energy enriched robe is highly unlikely." Blood, dripped to the ground and than Biggs smirked. "Of course I HAVE been fighting for awhile now..." Biggs slammed the spear into the ground while this newcomer was still holding it and then using his hand to tilt his body kicked him square in the chest. He finished his movement by landing on one knee and one foot and than stood up but felt the bit of pain he took from that last assault. "Four on one eh, oh well, guess that's what I get for taking on the base." Biggs said and then smirked as he was in for the challenge of a life time.
