I'll be in shock if they reveal Seymour or an FF7 character as long as we get more characters I'll be happy, but still it would be unfair to the other FF series if they didn't get a rep. No telling what SE will do @ this point will just have to wait until the 18th of Jan.

FF5 has a high chance of a rep since again nothing new was revealed from that series, no stage or character. Faris & Gilgamesh are the top candidates Faris being Nomura's favorite character and Gilgamesh being one of the most requested character to be in this game. I wouldn't mind either of them, both can bring a unique playstyle and both have their own personality which defines them.

FF6 don't know much about the game other than it has alot of playable characters and is considered to be a underrated RPG some say it's the best FF. The chances of this series getting a rep is tricky considering there recent unveiling of a new stage which many people believe that new stage means no new character barring FF11, FF12, FF13 now this rumor is nothing more than speculation but it could be true. Now the popular character reps are Locke and Celes, I don't know much about them other than their popularity, Locke many people believe is a thief but he's a treasure hunter don't know much about he's move sets he uses knives, swords and boomerangs. Our other candidate Celes a runic knight with the ability to absorb magic with her sword which is pretty unique and I'm pretty sure SE can make a good gimmick of that, her moveset don't know much. about.

FF9 a fantastic RPG with one of the best character casts. Each character is so unique personalty wise and characteristic wise. This is also tricky since Prima Vista Stage is supposedly confirmed but I don't know yet I need a better pic. If FF9 gets a rep it's most likely Beatrix or Vivi. Vivi has a edge over Beatrix since he's so damn adorable and innocent for everyone to love and he is a powerful Black Mage, many complain he's just another mage ok.... SE can make him unique and create a unique gimmick and movesets for him. Due to his popularity he has a biggest chance of any FF9 character. Then there is Beatrix I can see why so many people adore her, she's strong, loyal to her queen with an intimidating presence. Her movesets will revolve around her seiken skills like shock, chimhazzard with a combination of white magic. Which again has alot of potetial of being a fun and unique playstyle.

Agreed. But one thing.

"Faris being Nomura's favorite character"

Wrong. Nomura's favourite character is Kain, and he's already been added.

Plus, when asked about a possibly sequel, Nomura said that one of the characters he'd like to include was Gilgamesh.

Fixd, and I started playing FFIV again. I think that it might be possible that Kain is actually a warrior of Chaos since he sided with Golbez for part of the game, though against his will. And I am disappoint with Golbez's 3rd alt.

I guess it's save to say she's in, that part in the trailer was pretty obvious. There are no real side characters (besides Cosmos), so I doubt they would just bring her in for "a cameo". However, if Kimahri would've been in the game, I'd once again go on enrage tour with Square-Enix and rape their faces off... seriously, they can't just put the most unlikeable characters in all of Final Fantasy in one game, that would kill my patience!

Okay, you're right, I can't prove it. Still, who would like a character that doesn't talk, is small (for his kind), has to steal his skills from other monsters because he doesn't have his own, blows not only gameplay-, but also characterwise, [s]doesn't have boobs[/s]... and a lot more!
Even Quina was funny [s]sometimes[/s] almost never, but he tried really hard... but Kimahri? Hell, what did he contribute to... anything? Characterwise, he's just as useless as Quina, but Quina had his Frog Rain Thingy which could do 9999 damage...

Conclusion: Kimahri blows (for me)... and won't be in the game anyway, so why do I even care? Is it because it's 1 AM and I friggin feel like writing s***? Yes, it is :huh:

For once I have to say: I like that decision. Like, a lot :lol:
I just hope she doesn't play like "just another caster", but I don't assume she does. Definitely going to stay in my radar, looks like a promising character :)

Anyway I got info on some of the pic (not the yuna pic) I guess there would be a 5 vs 5 survival team battle, you can create your own quest and that you can import your save data from the 1st dissidia and get something not sure but I think you import gil, weapons and the LVL of the characters just predicting.

For the Yuna Scan she'll have a Summon gimmick she does indeed summon aeons in this game many claimed they saw shiva, ixion and Bahamut in this scan and that her overdrive we'll be a barrage of aeon attacks. I think you press R1 + O to summon not sure.

If my transliteration skills (and the FFWiki) are correct, Yuna's summons are separate from the equipable summons. She uses her Aeons as Brave and HP attacks.

And, yes, her EX Burst, 'Sending', will be all of her Aeons at once.

About the team battle, it's supposed to be some sort of Tournament mode. You (and a number of other players) are seeded just as in a regular tourney, and are pit against each other. Also, when a battle is going on, but your not in it, you can choose to watch.

Yup Yuna is going to be great on this game can't wait to have more info of her Summoner Gimmick anyway no Seifer didn't get the FF8 rep Laguna did which is still as good.

Prishe... *looks up the Wiki* Ah, just Final Fantasy XI, so there's nothing I missed, we'll see how she plays.

HOLY MOTHER OF ALL THINGS EVIL... it's really Gilgamesh. Well, not that I could tell from his voice, but if the fanboys say it's true, I believe it :lol: Bartz, get out of this guy's awesomeness range, there's only space for ONE multi-sword wielding guy, and that's definitely NOT you!

Final sum-up: Even though their games lack a bit of quality lately, Square Enix still knows how to get their fanbase fired up with a good trailer :o

Edit: Wait a second... am I seeing things? At 6:00... is that Aerith? As an [i]assist[/i]? Does that mean... there's the possibility that, even though some minor characters won't be included in the game, they could still be in by becoming assists? Beatrix, I'll never give up hope!
