They really did it... and they did it on purpose! Don't they know that Vaan is the worst, speaking RPG protagonist ever created? Don't they know that he's the least liked "main protagonist" in all of Final Fantasy? Don't they know that Vaan sucks the inside of a monkeys anise (just watched an episode of AVGN)?

I'd like to show a flag of disagreement by not buying the game... but I can't, game's going to be too good, even with Vaan in it :(

I personally doubt that they bring another FF XI character... but I can't wait for who they choose for FF IX, if it's indeed Beatrix, I've got a new main character... that would probably also mean they bring in "Rose of May", and I just can't wait for that to happen :lol:

Beatrix is really popular though alot of people want her to b in the game but still if FF9 gets a representative it's most likely Vivi as much as I want Beatrix to b in the game. It's going to b Vivi never knew he was that popular.

If there [i]is[/i] going to be a new FFIX Char, it'll probably be him.

But I hope they bring in not just heroes, but more villains. I personally wana see Gilgamesh.

Same would count for Auron, while we're at it... but yeah, Vivi would be a nice character as well. I'd still prefer Beatrix (or even Freya, but that would probably only happen in my dreams... she doesn't seem to be very popular :(), but I could live with nearly any other choice from that game as well, save for Quina... but hey, they already included Vaan, why not just pull out everything awesome they can get their fingers on! [/sarcasm]

Her b-day costume is DLC I don't think that counts as her 3rd Alt. I could b wrong though. Cloud has 2 new costumes one of them is DLC his KH one.

An FF11 character seems likelly since Shantotto needs a rival but I heard the creators don't care about balancing the Cosmo and Chaos side so yea. Shadow Lord or Prishe seems to b the fav candidates to represent 11.

Who considers FF XI in canon anyway? :blink: I mean, except for the fact that there is no canon in Final Fantasy games, Final Fantasy XI was the most un-canon thingy they ever did. I wouldn't consider any MMO a Final Fantasy, it's just not what the series defines... but who cares, it brought us Shantotto, one of the most awesome characters ever, so I shouldn't complain :lol:

Shantotto is fun I luv using her hp chaining spells is very satisfying to watch but kinda hard to hit unless u hav high BP. Her brave attacks are kinda slow poison should have been faster and not be broken once hit I want to b spreadable like holy or just be faster hopefully in this game Square fixed her brave game.

I generally do not enjoy using casters, Golbez, Exdeath and Emperor Mateus being the only exceptions. I dislike casters because they deal too much with range, whereas I enjoy charging in and beating down whoever it is I'm taking on. Another thing I should mention is that Squall's moves are made so he can get through those pesky spells and get up close to them where range is not really an advantage. Try it, His HP moves block magic and can usually get you close enough to your target so you can get them in combos. His Rough Divide is one of the few physical attacks that can break through Golbez's Genesis Rock.

First Vaan... now this... guy... I'm disappointed Square Enix, very, very disappointed. Doesn't stop me from buying the game, but still... how could they <_<

Either way, World Map looks pretty cool, could even involve some exploration, which I'd definitely like. Also this definitely looks like you could form some kind of party... interesting enough :)
