Let's go on this topic logically, shall we?

We need 1 for each Final Fantasy (12 is exactly the right number). Either they're equally devided in villains and heroes or we get indeed 24 new characters to work with. Would make up for a great roster, but who knows :D

I don't know much about part I - V and XI, so I'll let them out. I'll just list my choices:

FF VI: Edgar with his gadgets would make for a great character. The choice for the villain would be harder, Ultros is obviously not implementable, Gestahl can't really fight... was there any other at least humanoid enemy? I can't remember...

FF VII: Tifa, obviously. We need more characters that beat the crap out of you. The villain could be Reno.

FF VIII: Rinoa in her "Dead Fantasy" appearance... oh, that would [i]kick ass![/i]. You could also just take Laguna, but that would be boring I guess... villain is another obvious choice: Seifer.

FF IX: Vivi, because we have no mage yet. Lani as a villain would kick major butt, but Garland (FF IX) would also make for a good choice.

FF X: Yuna in her FF X-2 outfit. Yey for smexyness! Auron would also be a nice idea. Seymour must be the villain of this, who else?

FF XII: Balthier, the hero needs to get a heroic appearance. I guess we already have the villain, named Gabranth, we don't need any more here. Vayne is just... meh :(

FF XIII: We still need a villain I'd say... Cid Raynes looks good, let's go with him... not! Jihl Nabaat, I wanna see you fight, [i]PLEASE?![/i]

Sounds interesting enough, I'd play that :D

FFI - Red Mage would be awesome. Villain...I don't know.
FFII - ...I got nothing.
FFIII - I can't think of anyone, tbh.
FFIV - Now we need a villain. Zeromus would be weird, so I don't think we can use him. Unless of course they're using Kain as the new villain, which is unlikely but possible. If that's the case then I want Rosa, Rydia, Edge or Yang.
FFV - Gilgamesh. PLEASE.
FFVI - Edgar, I suppose.
FFVII - Yuffie
FFVIII - Selphie
FFIX - Not sure. I haven't played the game in a while.
FFX - Seymour. And Yuna.
FFXI - ?
FFXII - Balthier

Gilgamesh, like Kain, was supposed to be in the first one. So, he'll probably be in it.

Oh, and they said they may add KH characters if they made a sequel. So, yeah.

Well, let me tell you what I would do if they had the [i]balls[/i] to insult such a great game with this action. Let me tell you what I would do to every single developer working at this project, even if he/she just did the packaging.

I would:

1. Slice them all in half
2. Eat their internal organs
3. Steal their money, husbands/wifes and cars
4. Burn their houses
5. Insult every single member of their family
6. Disecrate their graves
7. Play the Chocobo-Fanfare at their funeral (or the other way round)
8. Never play a Final Fantasy anymore
9. Never play any other game from that company
10. Kill myself

Yep, I indeed also would not be [i]very happy[/i] about it...

lol Spoon u r hilarious! Come on dont you want 2 c Quina using a fork as weapon and throwing frogs and casting blue magic in the game that would b funny as hell! But in all in seriousness I really doubt he's going to b in the game I would just yell @ the developer wtf where they smoking choosing Quina as a playable character, I rather hav Quistis from ff8 she uses blue magic and uses a whip, sexy or was that selphie I 4got.

I just saw that (thanks for quoting it)... NOEZ! Don't remove my Shantotto! She's actually really nice to play with the right item- and skill-setup... she may not be the strongest, but she definitely is a. cute and b. bad-ass! And get out with those stupid FF VII spin-off characters, god damnit, nobody needs Kadaj and company...

FF VII [i]didn't[/i] suck... just SE squeezing it out for more and more useless and unnecessary spin-offs...

@LRPXD: Yeah, Quistis would be kinda cool... the teacher with a whip... grrr... :lol:

Haha true FF7 is not the best FF imo it's FF9 but you got 2 agree that FF7 is the most popular Final Fantasy game out there. Many people just luv that game. I really hope they just add 1 FF7 character on this game, Tifa or Vincent is enough.

They you're doing it wrong... I think, I never play online, maybe the other palyers behave differently there. Bind can be easily dodged and Stun is just useless. Any other skill doesn't prevent you from coming any closer, she's not more agile than any other character (even less if I remember correctly) and her skills only get devastating at a very high bravery ratio, which isn't all that easy to obtain, even with the right items... but what am I talking about, this is Dissidia II... maybe it's not even gonna be a Beat 'em up, that would be hilarious :lol:

well my brother who has this game always say "Dude no matter what if your bravery is not high always use hp attacks and then it recharges , then focuse the best you can to go FOR THE BREAK" and i always miss the opportunity against shantoto because of thre things.

1. shes small and difficult to see in some stages
2. she uses magic COMBOS
3. SHE'S ANNOYING

Magic users are kewl... I play mainly Terra with a nearly infinite EX mode and then go all whoopy on my opponents butt with Dual-Sanctus and Ultima... even Inverted Chaos didn't stand much of a chance there :rolleyes: Second in command is Kefka, yey for "I see a poser!" and "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon"-spam :D Third Zidane (meh, got boring, but he still works for me) and fourth finally Shantotto...

Casters are for some reason so much more interesting...

Agreed that magic casters r very fun to use Terra, Golbez, Ultimecia r awsome. Genesis ROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOCK! 1 of the cheapest moves in the game. :P

I only use Golbez, the Emperor and Exdeath for casters. Occasionally, I will use other casters, but I stay away from Ultimecia and Shantoto. I can't use them effectively since Ultimecia throws weapons and Shantoto can't do anything other than spam spells, which I consider cheap ways to win. Genesis Rock is still the cheapest move in the game though.
