After seeing Kazuki's face, Sosuei's eyes widened and his jaw comically dropped. "(I guess my cover's blown....)" Sosuei thought to himself disappointingly. After the events that have transpired, Sosuei began walking with Kazuki back to the ramen shop. "Well, it's been awhile now hasn't it? Two months since I last saw you Lord Hokage. Hmm, you don't mind me calling you Kazuki now do you? Afterall, you know I don't really like being so formal. But anyways, the mission is a success. Kirigakure has agreed to ally with us in stoping the Akatsuki. The Mizukage was a rather nice man actually. For those two months I was treated very well. Guess a lot of things have changed for Kirigakure since their last Mizukage huh? But enough about work for awhile, how have you been for these past two months? And how are the other Jounin doing?" Sosuei finally felt home and he wanted to know about what events happened while he was gone, and who would best know it rather then the Hokage.

After paying for his and Baninku's dumplings, Houka bowed before stepping outside the stand. Taking a few steps forwards, it was a surprise for him to see the Mizukage out of his office and wandering around the marketplace.

Taking a breather to compose himself, for speaking to the Mizukage was always rather intimidating, as his leader was old but still powerful enough to wipe the floor with him, and then some.

"Lord Mizukage, I didn't expect to see you here." Houka saluted the old Mizukage. "Shouldn't you be working?"

"Obviously, he should have been. What an idiotic question to ask." He thought sullenly to himself.

Nevertheless, Houka began waiting for a response, his salute loosening back into a normal stance.

"You're correct in saying that you shouldn't be seeing me here. Afterall, with all of the paperwork Mizuro is giving me, it would be a surprise to see me looking out of my office window." Okikimi joked. "Anyways, I decided to take a little break from working. Besides, I'm starving and I can't decide on what I'm going to eat you see. By the way Houka, have you been taking care of that sword of yours? As a member of the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist, it is our duty to take care of our respective blade. It is our honor sort of speak." Okikimi said as he removed his beloved Nemurikujira from his back and looked at it. "Although, my sword hasn't been this clean in awhile. That Mizuro sure knows how to take care of other's things. Anyways, how did your mission go?" Okikimi asked.

Edan listened to the stranger speak and promptly looked at Nigel. "I should have guessed you'd hire somebody to oversee this deal. Merchants, they're always paranoid." Edan shook the man's hand, "I won't speak of this to anyone. On that, you have my word." As soon as Edan finished shaking his hand, he walked away and jumped to the rooftops, heading for the outskirts of town. The town was small so he was able to keep moving when he passed the gate, but immediately regretted not staying for the night. It was late, and Edan needed a place to rest before he continued back to his hideout that he kept. Coming across a clearing, he could vaguely make out a medium sized building by the road in the distance. Edan smiled in luck as he headed to the inn.

Turns out, the inn happened to be a small tavern. Edan didn't drink but he sat down at one of the open tables and waited for a waiter or a serving girl to take his order. A minute later, a young brown haired girl wearing a white apron appeared and asked for his order. Edan ordered the best stew they had, and put the menu down as the serving girl walked away while Edan sat with glaring looks locked on him like laser beams.

"You're lucky he wasn't suspicious." Sedimen snarled, still staring at where Edan had been at minute ago. He turned around and faced Nigel. "Very lucky." He muttered, glaring at Nigel. Nigel apologized quickly, and began walking away when he was knocked suddenly into a tree. "You better apoligize." Sedimen said, his arm out streched where Nigel's head was a minute ago. "Because you almost blew it. Oh, and now you have an excuse for being out here. You can say you encountered your father's murderer." Sedimen laughed. He walked away from the scene, disappearing as he left the clearing.

Kazuki laughed. "Everything's been fine. The other Jounin are alright, and yes, you may call me Kazuki. It's annoying that noone botheres remembering my name." Kazuki smiled, pulling his hood back up as he approached a large group of citizens. "However, it feels funny that people should stare at you and not me for a change. Anyway, seems like the Mizukage is a good man, and it's lucky he is, or else we'd have a problem. The Akatsuki are growing more confident. Just last week they attack a temple in the land of Earth. Atleast we know what they're after. Everyone's been looking for it. It's the legendary sword, I'm sure you've heard of it. Ever heard tell of the blade, Murusame?"

The question about his blade put a frown on Houka's face.

"It... Has not lent me it's name yet. Only it's strength so far."

The thought of being the only Swordsman with a unknown, possibly nameless sword humbled him slightly. It had power, the sword, but it might have been stronger if he only knew it's name, so to activate the seals that were adorning it.

Shaking his head free from the train of thought, Houka began to recall information he learnt while in Iwa.

"Iwa appears to be searching for a Blade of sorts. And not only Iwa, but many other countries are vying for it. From what I heard, the Blade is the legendary Masamune, rumored to have the power to guide the wielder to the path of victory, ensuring total domination of the battlefield. Another rumor there has it that the blade increases the sheer refinement and power of the wielder, enabling them to do superhuman feats without chakra."

He waited, sifting through more information he briefly recalled. "I am not positive about those facts though, but I do know that Iwa is putting up a much better academic system now to enable stronger shinobi, and that they are tightening security to fortify themselves. It appears as if they are in preparation for a large skirmish between the other countries ninjas... or they are preparing for an even bigger event."

A sudden flash of his academy teacher's teachings of war and it's drawbacks and severity passed his mind, a thought about having to go to war forced him to suppress a chill in him.

"Lord Mizukage, I do not know about you, but..." Houka took in a steady intake of air.

"We may have to prepare as well, if the rumors, ALL of them, are even moderately true."

"Please Kazuki, I'm not comfortable with the whole 'people staring at me' thing, hehe. Afterall, I don't have the charismatic features like you appear to have." Sosuei joked. He then used a transformation jutsu to transform into a regular person. "Good thing you just remind me about that. I don't want to make everybody throw a welcome back party for me just yet. Right now we have more important things to deal about. The Land of Water seems to be shifting now more to peace, thanks to the new Mizukage. He has changed a lot of things, and now it seems as though Kirigakure is a whole different village from its past. And the Mizukage mentioned that he was inspired to remake Kirigakure into a place of peace after visiting Konoha a decade ago."

After hearing the name 'Masamune', Sosuei's facial expression changed into a more stern and serious look. "I see.... Masamune huh? That's quite the war conjurer.... Whoever wields that blade is said to gain legendary powers the likes of only a few have seen. Though there are rumors on the true power of sword, only a few really knows its true potential. There are a two legends concerning Masamune. One legend states that Masamune is an incredibly powerful and destructive sword, capable of toppling mountains in a single swipe, while other legends tell of its peaceful nature, how one wielder of Masamune wanted to test its sharpness so he hung it from a tree by the river. The blade of Masamune lightly touching the water and leaves would gently pass by it as if making way for the sword itself. I don't really know what to believe of the blade's power, but I do know that if other nations and even the Akatsuki are trying to get their hands on it, the Masamune must hold some kind of divine power."

-Elsewhere-

After hearing about what Houka said about his sword, Okikimi gave a slight chuckle and strapped his sword onto his back again. "Well that is sort of a dilemma isn't it? Don't worry about it too much Houka. If it's lending you its strength then that's already one step in it lending you its name. You just need to have a bit more patience and you should also make some time to clean it. Your sword will lend you its name and full power soon, I can feel it. The trust is building, wait for it to mature and you'll have one powerful blade that you'll rely on for the rest of your life."

Okikimi then put on a grin as he turned to the subject of Masamune. "Yes I've been keeping track about the rumors of the nations and the Akatsuki looking for it. Although I'm not surprised. Such a fine weapon is worth more then a sea of gold is it not? But I guess my statement is pretty biased considering I'm not greedy and that I am a sword wielder, but I'm pretty sure just about everybody is trying to get their hands on it. However, I say you're right about fortifying our defenses. Just a little bit earlier I've went to the site of the old Mizuhashi Temple, and guess what I found there? Nothing at all.... And by nothing, I mean I couldn't even find the temple itself. All there was, was a crater where the temple should've been present at.... Must be Akatsuki.... All of the other nations are weary of each other. However, the Land of Water is now an ally of the Land of Fire. I feel as though we can trust them. Anyways, I've send an investigation team out already. For right now, let's just keep that matter aside. Anyways, I'm gonna go get something to eat. Do you wanna come along?"

"Aye, it is all of those things, but more. First, the leaf wouldn't go past it, as the stream would stop. The blade has so much power, even a baby would rule the world if it got hold of it." Kazuki sighed, and walked into an empty building, guiding Sosuei inside. "Sorry about the change of scenery, this is information I've shared with noone but the Sannin-the highest three Nin in the Village-and Isuma((Who can be my assistant if they want?))." Kazuki explained, making sure noone was in the abandoned shop. When he'd finished he turned back to Sosuei. "The Sword is the most destructive weapon to have ever been made, and is incredibly powerful. Everyone knows that. But not many know it's origins. It was created over 2000 years ago, when the first villages were being made. Ninja's were not a many as they are now, but made up for the numbers in quality. Among them were 5, the five Lords of the Elements. They were like the Kage's nowadays, but were much stronger. And they did not belong to any one village. Each of them had mastered one Element, so much so the Water Lord could create Tidal waves with a flick of his finger, and the Fire lord could make a volcano appear and erupt in a millisecond, the Thunder lord could create thunderstorms powerful enough to power the globe with electricity, the Earth lord could create earthquakes powerful enough to split a continent and the Air lord could create 15 hurricanes around him, and only feel a light breeze. Just one of these Ninja's could defeat all of the Kage's there has ever been, and barely breaking a sweat. But these Ninja's were not arrogant with their powers. They kept peace. But they knew they would not live forever, no matter how long they managed to delay it-They all died at around 700 years of age-and so they created a weapon with power to keep the peace. At first the blade, which was forged by the Finest smith ever and infused with the power of all the Lords, was passed down Generation by Generation in a chosen family of the Wisest ninja's in the land, but one was arrogant and tried to destroy the world with it. The Lords defeated him, though not that easily, and sealed the blade away, using all off their strength to protect it. It would only be released to the strongest of Ninjas, and only the wisest and purest would be able to weild it for long. Many strong ninja have weilded it, but most died soon after." Kazuki paused for a moment, slowly lifting up his sleeve to show a tattoo just below his shoulder, with a symbol for every element. "I am one of the few to survive."

"I see.... So you are one of the survivors of the legendary Masamune's power. I've heard of this legend before when I was still working as an ANBU. There was a scroll located in Iwagakure about this legend. Though the scroll seemed to be missing a part. On the scroll, there was one particular paragraph that seems to be completely cut off. Iwagakure had also spent some time looking for the missing piece of information, but to no avail. It seems it must be vital to completeing the legend.... So you have wielded Masamune huh? The power of it, even I couldn't imagine such a power to have in your hand. However, maybe it's for the best not to even wield it in the first place. Afterall, it has caused a lot of bloodshed just to look for it. Just the temptation of having that kind of power would drive a person to madness don't you think? By the way, I'm curious Kazuki. How did you manage to survive the Masamune's effects on the human body? I mean, you're fortunate to live on with that brand that the Masamune had placed on you...." Sosuei has now sparked an interest in Masamune's power.

Edan was on edge.... no scratch that, he was ready to jump off of it. Edan had been a high-profile Assassin for too long to not be noticed. Although Edan's crimes were different in individual countries. Stealing and Petty Theft in the land of lightning, done when Edan was only a child trying to live. Some high treason and assassinations in the land of Earth where Edan resided as a teenager. He was wanted most badly in the Land of Wind, where he'd come super close to assassinating the Lord of the nation, had it not been for a few unplanned surprises. Normally, Edan was cautious and able to disguise himself easier, but due to his carelessness at just finishing a mission, he'd walked right into a lion's den, "Stupid carelessness!!! Why did I forget to disguise myself!!! I shouldn't have made such a mistake!.

As soon as Edan realized this, a man from a table near the door and about a meter away lunged at him. Surprised at the sudden blunt attack, Edan was knocked straight through the opposing wall on the other side of the room. The wall gave way to the power behind it and Edan landed just on the outskirt of the demolished wall. The man, a brown haired guy set in a raven-haired style in his middle 30s wearing a standard travelers clothes with several pouches on his side, came walking out through the hole of the restaurant accompanied by 2 other hooded men that Edan couldn't identify. Edan was just able to regain his footing before they reached him. As he got closer, Edan was able to make out distinct details. He was moderately built, but what made him intimidating to Edan was his size. He was about 6"11 to Edan's eyes if not taller with broad shoulders. Before the man had a chance to go any further, Edan took a chance and spoke, "Good punch, you might've even broke my nose." Edan said just as his nose felt like it'd been hit with a brick. "I would've loved to play a little longer, but I think it might be best to correct that little mistake. Focusing his chakra, Edan formed a few handsigns in rapid succession, Edan called out: Crystal Release: The Gods' Crossings Jutsu!
The stream of sharp crystals raced towards the unknown attackers.

Houka shook his head slightly at the elder man.

"I still don't know... Sometimes I think that it is purposely doing this to spite me." His head hung low. A crick was forming in his neck. Shuffling in discomfort, Houka clutched the back of his neck, squeezing it a few times.

"Ouch. I think I'm becoming too stressed lately..." He remembered a few moments ago, slightly unnerved of the flamboyant Chuunin from before. "I think I may just take that offer Lord Mizukage. God knows I need it."

Massaging his neck one more time, Houka groaned. "And maybe a massuer later in the day if I have a chance."

"It's not the Blade itself that's deadly to the weilder, it's arrogance. I survived because I realised that although I would win in open Conbat, noone can survive a Surprise attack. I didn't do anyfighting, I trained. For 5 years I trained, none stop in some valley far away." Kazuki explained. "How do you think I became Hokage. I was born into a powerful clan, and was exceptional among them, but I was still weaker than a Hokage. With the Unthinkable amount of chakra that comes with the Masamune blade, I could train to an exceptional strength. I created many techniques of my own, and could learn incredible techniques rarely known among the Nin society." Kazuki looked at an nearby wall. A small dart erupted from Kazuki's hand as he lifted it to face the wall. When it touched the wall, a massive bikt of blue fire erupted from it, and instead of burning the wall, it froze it, and cracked down the middle. "That is a basic one, used by forcing Ice style Ninjutsu inside te middle of a fire style jutsu, making the Jutsu unable to be nulified by a different, weaker Jutsu." Kazuki explained, turning back to face Sosuei. "The masamune's power is unbelievable, but it doesn't kill the weilder. There have been many surviving weilders, but they are the one's who did not brag, but trained with the blade. Noone could resist the temptation of the ultimate blade. After I finished with it, I hid it again, adding my own protections to the blade. The only person to have touched the blade since me, is the leader of the Akatsuki. He also did like me and trained, as is now my equal, if not powerfuller. It took me 7 years to track him down and hide the sword again, and by that time he was incredibly powerful. I hid the blade and ran home, to find I was the strongest ninja in the village by far, and that I was inline as the next hokage. Now, the Masamune is close to being found, so now we have to find it first." Kazuki explained, waiting for Sosuei's reaction.

OOC: about the assistant thing, I don't see why I couldn't be, so yea why not

Isuma looked at the clock on the wall of the shop "He's been gone for quite some time now." Isuma thoguht for a moment "I guess I should go looking for him." Isuma stood up and began to walk around looking for Kazuki, Isuma guessed that Kazuki had not really gone to use the restrooms, but had rather gone to inspect the figure that had run at the sight of them. Isuma's chakra was very hard to hide considering his lack in stealth, he walked at a rather fast pace through the streets in the direction the figure had gone, Isuma mumbled to himself "Why does it seem that when Kazuki wants to go off after someone it's always me who has to go track him down?" Isuma asked the question to himself not really wanting an answer, he continued to walk looking around as he did, he sighed "This may take awhile."
