Mysterium Tremendum
Edan sat on a log deep in the forest. Currently, he was somewhere in the Western border of the Land of Fire. He'd taken a wrong turn while heading toward his destination; a remote village on the outskirts that hosted a wealthy business merchant that Edan had been hired to assassinate. The one who'd hired him had been the man's own son, wanting the vast majority of his father's money. Finally finding his location on the map he'd brought with him, Edan stood straight up and started jumping through the tree branches, heading south just as the sun rose in the east. His mission was to make the merchant's death look like an accident, the merchant had many contacts that the merchant's son had specified would be necessary in order to keep the business flowing, so it was best if it looked as accidental as possible so as not to arouse suspicion. As he came within sight of the small town, Edan smiled as he ran through his plan once again.
Magnet Soldier
"He's heading towards the merchant, Milord. I believe he will succeed." A cloaked figure sitting on a small armchair, facing away from the other figure and into a fire, nodded. He sighed and grabbed a straw hat from the small table next to him. He flipped it in his hand for a bit, before throwing it towards the fire. The fire was extinguished, the hat undamaged. "Good. I am glad it turned out that the merchants son is in the Atatsuki, and that he's willing to add the mans money into the Atatsuki. I'm sure it will help us greatly." The Cloaked figure said, his cold eyes staring past another figure, one covered in shadow and bowing. "You may go now. Make sure that everything bodes well for our assassin. If he fails, you are to pick up his mantle, and, if you could, I'd love it if you killed the assassin should he be discovered, discover us or fail." The cloaked figure ordered. The other figure stood up and walked off, disappearing after he'd taken a couple of steps. The cloaked man sighed and exited through a door on the other side of the room. He entered a giant cavern, mainly taken up by giant pillars. In between the pillars, the cloaked figure could see many other Akatsuki members, training mostly. One just used a powerful Jutsu, and nearly knocked down a pillar. However, the Jutsu was stopped by a flick of the Cloaked figures wrist. "Watch out, Mandier." The cloaked figure said as he walked past the man. The Man bowed and apologised. "I'm sorry, Milord." The Cloaked figure, obviously the leader nodded, and walked on. Kazuki Groaned. More paperwork. "I'm the Hokage, not some stamping machine." Kazuki muttered, pushing all the now stamped paper into a box at the end of his desk. He looked at the rest of the pile. It was considerably smaller now, but there were still about 300 pieces of paper. "Jeez." He sighed, standing up. He walked to the doors of his office and started walking to the nearest Ramen shop. Mysterium Tremendum
Outside of the village, Edan hid amongst the trees in preparation for his plan. From his viewpoint, the town was in the midst of a festival. Before night set in, Edan planned to sneak in and impersonate one of the guards. When night set in, Edan would sneak a special poison in the merchants last drink. The poison was easily curable by ninja, but for anyone untrained it could easily be missed. It would cause blood pressure to raise to max levels, causing a massive heart attack and killing the merchant. It would take an hour for the poison to set to work, which is why expert timing would be needed. Just in case, Edan had also brought the antidote for the poison for a back-up plan he had in mind. Discarding his ninja clothes and dawning the garb of a civilian, regular blue shirt and tan pants. As soon as he finished, Edan crossed into the village with but a glimpse to the guards that lined the gate and walked through the festival for a moment, looking as much as possible like a regular festival goer. After about half an hour, Edan arrived at the merchant's estate. Looking around as he jumped and hid on a rooftop nearby, Edan spotted a total of 7 guards, all spaced evenly around the entrance. 3 were positioned on the left side of the courtyard, while the other 4 patrolled around the estate. "There might even be more guards." Edan thought just as something caught his eye, a single guard that stood in a secluded space around the courtyard stood wearing steel guard armor with a sword sheathed on his hip and looking like he was meant more to intimidate people with a few other guards a good few meters away, more than enough that they couldn't see the guard through some thick bushes. "Perfect" Edan thought as he quietly moved to intercept the lone guard.
Lord of Chaos
Isuma was sitting near the hokage's office seeing that the hokage was leaving Isuma got up and began to walk with him "Lord Hokage, how are you my friend?" Isuma said kindly as he strolled up next to Kazuki. Isuma was in a very good mood he had been reading earlier before he saw Kazuki, he was going to just sit and injoy a peaceful book, but seeing the hokage he thought he would go along with him to talk. Isuma smiled brightly under his mask "What do you say to some ramen on me." Isuma offered as he him self had not eaten, and was very hungery. !Supra¡
Sosuei arrived at the gates of Konoha. A smile formed on his face as he finally was able to see Konoha again. For two months now, Sosuei has been on a mission to the Land of Water. Now that he's finally returned home, Sosuei's going to take a nice, long rest. "Finally home free. I guess I should report to Lord Hokage, but.... It has been quite some time since I've gotten the chance to taste Konoha's famous ramen. I should go get a bowl and rest up first. What the Hokage doesn't know won't hurt him." Upon completing his statement, Sosuei walked inside the village just to be greeted by some of Kazuki's subordinates. "Hmm, Sosuei you're back. How have you been these past months and how goes the mission?" "Please lower your voice, I don't wanna make a big commotion. I'm just going to get some ramen. I'll talk to you two later. Oh, and don't tell anyone that I'm back." Sosuei replied quietly. "Wait, but why can't-" Sosuei quickly interrupted. "Like I said, lower your voice. I have my reasons, see ya." After that, Sosuei walked off calmly. Soon he had arrived near the ramen shop, but to his suprise, he saw Kazuki and Isuma. "I guess the ramen shop is off of my list for right now.... *Sigh* Better go somewhere else then...." -Elsewhere- "Umm, Mizuro, are you certain that all of these paperwork must be completed before the sixth?" Okikimi asked as he nervously gazed upon the mountains of paperwork waiting to be checked over and completed. "Yes Lord Mizukage, it is very important that you must get these documents completed in time, or else the construction work will be delayed." Mizuro answered in an uptight manner. "But that's only two days from now. You really think I can complete all of this?" "Well then you better get started Lord Mizukage. Afterall, I told you to get started three days earlier, but you kept coming up with excuses like 'My pet turtle needs to be tended to' or 'I've eaten something that didn't agreed with my stomach and I must go to the restroom'. If you would've just started on the documents instead of fooling around, then tommorow you could've finished and we would have one extra day to get started on the next batch of documents that needs your signature for approval." "What the- After this I have to get started on more paperwork?! Can't you just get someone else to handle the paperwork?" Okikimi was breathing even more rapidly than normal. Just the mere mention of the words 'More documents' is enough to make him want to jump down a well. "No, it must be you who must complete these documents. It's one of the duties of a Kage. Kirigakure is still rebuilding after the incident from 10 years ago. As you know, right now our economic strength is very low. The only other village that is having more trouble than ours is Sunagakure. We must perservere, and we, the people of Kirigakure must stand together as one during these difficult times. And all of the nations must work together to achieve peace-" Mizuro was interrupted by the sound of snoring. "*Snoring, snoring*" Okikimi was fast asleep, and in a very deep state of sleep for that manner. "Lord Mizukage! You're sleeping a this time of day?! Humph!" Mizuro was now very angry but quickly regained her composture. She then stared at Okikimi's sword, the Nemurikujira. "*Sign* At least you might want to clean your sword sometimes.... Are you really that busy?" Mizuro then picked up Nemurikujira with both hands, due to it's anormous weight, and walked out of Okikimi's office, making sure to quietly close the door for him after she had left. Magnet Soldier
Kazuki sighed as he was approached by Isuma. "You know full well I'm am one of the richest members of this Village, and get most of my meals for free. Its one of the advantages of being a Kage." Kazuki stated, as Isuma gestured towards a Ramen Shop. "But since I was already on my way, I'll dine with you." Kazuki said, sitting down on a seat near the wall of the Shop. As the counter man walked over, obviously nervous, and asked for the Hokage's order, Kazuki noticed someone familiar in the corner of his eye. He only saw him for a few moments, as the man disappeared very quickly, but Kazuki knew it was a Ninja, as the attire was that of a high ranking Nin, and that it was someone he hadn't seen in a while. He turned back to the Counter man. "I'll have the usual. I just......." Kazuki paused, trying to think of an excuse to go look for the familiar Nin. "........the toilet." He said finally. "I just need the toilet. I'll be two minutes." And he left the shops, heading in the direction the man went. He pulled his cloak over his head to avoid the stares of the locals. He was used to it by now, having been the Kage for 5 years, but didn't need the hassel of loads of people asking for help. He saw the man a bit ahead of him, and turned down an alley that he could leap onto the rooftops from. He followed the man closely, disguising his chakra as much as he could. The Akatsuki member, a Young Jounin levelled one named Sedimen, followed the Assassin closely, knocking the two main guards to the village out easily. He jumped onto a building near the Merchants estate to keep an eye on Edan as he did his job. He had a couple of Jutsu reading for an attack, and a murmasa strapped to his back. He brushed a lock of thick, dark brown hair out of his eye's and focused himself on Edan.
Esplin 9466 Primary
Daichi was siting in a chair with a paint pad in front of him. "I can't believe you're making me do this Kurai." Daichi mumbled under his breath. In front of him was a waterfall and five girls playing in the water. Daichi put his brush in the paint and then moved it to the paper and started to paint. "Oh come on. You know it's a good idea. Just imagine the look on the opponents face when you pull out something like this." Kurai said from inside Daichi's head. Kurai had recently come up with an idea for a new technique for Daichi to use. Despite not liking the idea, he agreed. When Daichi showed up at the waterfall where the girls where he came up with the story of being a professional artist. Much to his surprise, the girls where eager to be in a painting. "I don't know any real ninja that would actually fall for something like this." Daichi said as his face went red and he continued to paint. At one point while painting he looked over at the girls and noticed they where playing with Wiz. "Lucky bastard."
Mysterium Tremendum
The guard was completely overwhelmed in a second. He'd been looking in the opposite direction around the courtyard by the side door, and was just far enough away from the two guards that also guarded the side door to not see Edan. Edan had also picked a good second to strike the lone guard, at that exact second one of the other 2 guards by the door sneezed, covering up the small shutter noise that Edan made as he quickly grabbed the guard from the bushes and silently twisted his arms sharply, breaking the guard's neck. With the guard's body on the ground, Edan soundlessly plucked the guard's armor from his body and put it on. On the guard, the armor fit perfectly, but Edan was a little less bulky and the armor slid around his frame. "No one will buy this guard disguise unless I make this armor fit better." Concentrating his chakra, Edan produced crystal around him just under the armor. It was a little odd to be wearing both crystal and armor, but Edan had a job to do and wasn't complaining. Quietly, he resumed the guard's station with the armor and the guard's body hidden away in the thick bushes. A few hours of patroling later, Edan stood in almost the exact same place that he'd been standing when he arrived patiently. As he stood, he heard the great joyful sounds coming from the inside as the merchant drank deeply with each cup. Smiling, Edan waited patiently for the merchant to get ready for bed and sleep. Edan thought over why he'd come up with this idea from the start. The son had told him that there was very little he could do to get close to the merchant since his father only saw clients and never went out except to do business so that eliminated the possibility of an accident. Edan watched from his viewpoint as a serving girl wearing a red kimono came in and refilled the merchant's cup. "Hmmm... maybe I might be able to get her to help me with this." Edan smiled as he waited, standing just outside the sliding door in the courtyard.

He would wait the figure had looked fimilar but for now he would sit and enjoy his ramen and drink, he was tired he loved his village, but even great ninja need time off. !Supra¡
Sosuei continued down the street making sure to hide his chakra as best as he could, but knowing that he may not be able to hide it from a few individuals. "(Strange.... I've just got this sudden chill running down my spine.... It's like someone is following me or something.... I better get out of here, and fast.... If not I might be in for a load of work. I still need to file a mission report.)" A lot of thoughts ran through Sosuei's mind, but he couldn't afford to lose focus on what he needs to do as of right now. Sosuei must get back to his house without being followed. Suddenly, Sosuei picked up a slight hint of a familiar chakra. "(Oh no.... Someone is following me, and by the looks of it, it's a pretty strong individual too.... Gotta lose this person and fast....)" Sosuei quickly made a sharp turn at a street coner and continued through a series of tight street corners in a zig zag formation without making too obvious that he is trying to get away from someone. Sosuei quickly made his way into a rather busy part of Konoha. "(Alright, I got one chance to do this.)" Sosuei continued to walk, but this time at a slower pace. He was waiting for the right moment. Luckily for him, a man carrying a large pail of fresh vegetables was hastily moving through the crowd. Seizing the moment, Sosuei bumped into the man with a rather strong force, causing the vegetables to scatter all around the two with other villagers almost taking notice. In the slight moment of chaos, Sosuei quickly used a transformation jutsu, and changed his facial appearance only. The small cloud of smoke accompanying the transformation was hidden from view by the scattering vegetables in the air. The vegetables quickly fell to the ground and people began to gather around to see the commotion. In the large crowd, no one noticed Sosuei as he had transformed his facial appearance, and during this moment od commotion, Sosuei secretly slipped in with the large group of people. Sosuei then used a full body transformation when everybody's focus was on the man on the ground. Sosuei then waited there and act as if he was just another bystander watching the commotion as well. As the man was helped up and the crowd began to scatter, Sosuei calmly walked off, looking like just another villager. "(Hopefully the person following me was misguided....)" Sosuei thought to himself. -Elsewhere- Okikmi finally awoke, drool clearly visible on his desk. Okikimi wiped his eyes then gave a big yawn while stretching his arms up into the air. "Boy, that was a good nap...." Okikimi then looked to see his Nemurikujira. He noticed that the blade on his sword was now cleaned and polished, enough so the a person could see their own reflection on the sword's blade. Instantly, Okikimi knew this was Mizuro's handywork, and gave a smile. "That Mizuro, she may be at times uptight and stubborn, but she does know how to make someone smile. I guess she's not such a bad assistance afterall." Okikimi then sat up from his desk and went over to a table nearby to grab a cup of dried plum tea. Okikimi quickly took a drink and placed it down on the table; his smile widening. "Now to get to work."
Magnet Soldier
"Damn it." Kazuki cursed, jumping from roof to roof, past the crowd. "They knew they were being followed. Definately a high level Ninja." Kazuki muttered, stopping at a roof over shadowed by a taller building next to it. Kazuki concentrated on the ground below him, picking out chakra's and examining them. Most were ordinary people, there were a few Genin, two slacking Chunin.....and one chakra above a Jounin. "That's him. Funny, I can barely feel his chakra. He must be good at disguising himself." Kazuki mused, jumping off the roof and following the man as he left the crowd. Kazuki was misled by many villagers, but somehow kept himself just a bit behind the man. Either he's an enemy, or he doesn't want anyone to know he's back. Kazuki thought to himself, grabbing a kunai from his back pocket, just incase. Sedimen yawned as he noticed the assassin finally moving, if only to stare in a window. "Come on, do something." Sedimen muttered, impatiently. "The quicker you kill him, the quicker I get to go home." Sedimen yawned again, placing his attention on the window Edan was staring through. !Supra¡
Sosuei continued to act as if he was just a regular person, but he knew whoever is following him is not going to give up that easily, suggesting that the person is skillful enough to pick up on his traces of chakra. "(I guess there's no way out of this huh? Let's see who you are shall we?)" Sosuei turned around and a smile formed on his face. "(I'm guessing this should entice the person a little bit.)" Sosuei formed his hands into the ram symbol and then disappeared in a cloud of smoke. Sosuei had jsut used the Body Flicker Technique. Luckily for him, no regular people were around to see him using it. Sosuei then reappeared at a nearby inn. "Well, let's see if you're going to continue to follow me whoever you are." -Elsewhere- "*YAWN* Alright that's all of it for today, time to go out and get something to eat. I'm starving!" Okikimi stood up from his seat and walked over to his sword. Okikimi quickly strapped his sword to his back and went out of his office, closing the door as he left. "Now, what am I in the mood for today? Hmm.... Oh well, I'll just see whatever fits my appetite when I'm out in the market." Before Okikimi could exit the building, a Kirigakure Jounin stopped in front of him. "Lord Mizukage! There's an urgent letter that you need to read." The Jounin then handed the letter over and then walked off to his post. "Hmm, an urgent letter huh? Let's see...." Okikimi then opened the letter to read its contents. After reading it, Okikimi's eyes widened with surprise and he quickly ran off.
Mysterium Tremendum
When the serving girl left the room to go refill the large jug, Edan silently followed her back. As he entered through the back door into a large kitchen where the serving girl stood at a counter pouring more sake (I will use the japanese word). Edan approached the serving girl from behind and tapped her on the shoulder. The serving girl, jumped and turned around rapidly, forgetting about the jug as it smashed to the floor. "Hmmm.. Ayame? Is everything alright? I heard a crash" the merchant called from the other room. Silently Edan told her in a hushed voice to just tell him she was fine. "Nothing mylord, I just dropped the jug, I'll have it cleaned in a moment." As soon as she was done, she spoke once again to Edan. "What do you want? You almost caused me to have a heart attack." Edan smiled, she had no clue of the irony that she'd just made. "Listen, I need you to do me a favor." Edan whispered, "I'm not here to harm you, I'm here on a mission." Edan silently whispered to the serving girl, "Really, what kind of mission?" She replied, "Is it also the reason you're wearing a guard outfit?" Edan let his face remain stern, "Yes, I'm here because the merchant you're serving in the other room has been hiring thugs to attack his competitors. I was hired a little while ago to be a guard for a merchant caravan that's also one of his competitors in this area." Edan lied, "We were attacked and many of the caravans were destroyed, although I was able to capture one and force him to tell me who he was working for." Edan suppressed a smile and kept his face stern and serious as the lie dribbled across his tongue like poisoned mead. The serving girl's eyes went wide, "Impossible, I've been working for 2 months and I've never seen." Edan interrupted, "Of course you haven't, he hires them in secret." He held up the back of the tricep on his left arm to reveal a long gash running up from his elbow, "I got this cut while I was fending off the assassins and one of the cut me from behind, though I was able to dodge" Edan lied, in truth that he'd gotten the scar while crossing the border by a ninja who'd tried to assassinate him. The serving girl looked on at the long gash, it looked fairly new, maybe even only a week or two old. She turned back to Edan, "But that still doesn't explain why you're here" Edan looked at the serving girl once again, "Isn't it obvious, I'm here to make sure that he doesn't hurt anyone ever again. I have a special liquid that will end it. I've heard that he has a good son that will take over the business and put it to better use." Edan took out the vial of poison and showed it to her, "You're......going to poison him?" the girl stammered trying to comprehend what Edan had just revealed to her. "It must be done, too many lives have been lost to his greed already." Edan lied, fully enjoying the deception. "What I need you to do is put this poison in the next jug of sake that he drinks. It will take an hour, but it will cause him no pain." Edan lied, actually amazed with himself at the story he'd created. The serving girl took the vile and stared at the clear liquid for a few seconds. "Ayame, where's my sake? Are you almost done yet?" Edan quickly turned to get out of the kitchen when the serving girl quickly spoke to him, "Ok......I'll do it." Edan turned to the young girl. She looked no older than 19, yet she was doing a great favor to him here. "Thank you." Edan spoke quietly, you're saving a lot of men's lives here." Edan said, and then quickly retreated out the door with barely a sound and returned to guarding the courtyard. Silently the serving girl poured one more jug of sake in a new jug and, with much hesitance, poured the vial straight into the sake and walked to the merchant and poured him another cup and watched as he drank deeply. Magnet Soldier
Kazuki smiled. "This guy's good. Very good. I cant wait to see who he is." Kazuki murmered, noticing an inn door swinging slightly on it's hinges a second after the Ninja had used the body flicker technique. "But now he's trapped." Kazuki slowly moved towards the inn, flicking between rooftops, going slow to make the Ninja think he succeded. I'm the hokage. Noone escapes from me in my own village. Kazuki thought, finally jumping down towards the now motionless door to the inn. He slowly walked inside, covering his face with his hood. The inn was a dirty place, populated by smugglers, thieves and bandits, all of which were badly scarred. The air was thick with smoke from cigars and the tables and counter were layered with dusted. The innkeeper was fulling a mug for a paticularly nasty looking bandit. The bandit was bare chested and had a longsword strapped to his back, and an axe at his waist. He was smiling grimly. The innkeeper placed the mug next to the bandit and walked away. His face was hidden behind a balaclava, the eye's the only things visible. Kazuki sighed and walked towards the only unscarred figure in the inn, Sosuei.Sedimen covered his mouth to stop himself from laughing. He had moved from his spot on a rooftop to some bushes near the window intot he kitchen, on the other side of the kitchen than the door Edan had just entered through. Sedimen listened as Edan let loose this incredulous lie. Sedimen had learned from the Akatsuki leader that Edan was actually an assassin, and Sedimen had heard that the merchants son, who was luckily in the akatsuki, though only a Chunin rank, had hired Edan to kill the merchant, who had reportedly been sending money to Konoha. As the servant girl left the room, Edan left, and Sedimen followed. He had already seen the Merchant drink the poison, he was doomed. "Now, to make sure this guy isn't seen." Sedimen said, rushing ahead of Edan, forgetting to activate the Invisibilty Jutsu he had prepared for this moment.
Mysterium Tremendum
Edan waited in the courtyard, as the merchant continued to drink. The time passed by slowly, as Edan paced the courtyard, looking like he was patrolling. He continually waited and watched the merchant as the time moved agonizingly slow. As time passed, Edan started to wonder if he'd been done something wrong when making the poison. It was broiled from a rare plant that's found in very few places around the world. Edan hoped that he'd boiled it enough and added enough of the plant to make it lethal. Just when Edan was starting to question whether he'd made the potion right or the girl hadn't added the potion after all, a loud gasp was heard from the merchant's sitting room. Edan rushed into the compound to find the merchant clutching his chest with his face contorted in agony. Before more guards could arrive, Edan quietly snuck away in the darkness of the night, where he would await the merchant's son in the back alley a few blocks from the merchant's estate. Magnet Soldier
Sedimen appeared next the Merchants son, waiting for Edan to arrive. "Your father is either dying or dead now." The Merchants son(Lets call him Nigel) Smiled, and turned to face Sedimen. "Great. Now I'm rich." Sedimen glared at Nigel. "I....I mean, the Akatsuki is rich." Nigel corrected himself, a drop of sweat dripping from his forehead. Sedimen smirked. "Good. Now, the assassin is coming. He will want paying for his work. Pay him, and mention nothing of the Akatsuki, me or what you are planning to do with the money. You are a greedy, pig-headed little brat, remember." Sedimen whispered. Nigel nodded, gulping, as Sedimen dived behind a nearby tree.
Mysterium Tremendum
Silent as fly, Edan appeared at the back alley where he saw the merchant's son. Although it wasn't the merchant's son that he was concerned with, he was talking to a strange figure that Edan couldn't make out as he approached. Suddenly, the man leeped away into the bushes, leaving the merchant's son alone as Edan approached. "Who was that?" Edan asked out of the blue. Nigel turned around quickly, startled by Edan's sudden arrival. "Just one of my friends, he had to go quickly." Edan looked at him with a raised eyebrow, "Really, from how fast I saw him move, I'd say he was a ninja." Edan watched as a bead of sweat passed down Nigel's forehead. Before he could respond, Edan spoke first, "Whatever its none of my business who you talk to. All I want now is the money you promised me." Noticeably, Nigel suddenly turned pale. "Ummmmm.... Right your money. How much?" Edan looked at him with cold eyes, "Lets see now, I'm pretty sure this mission deserved at least a B-Ranking, your father was very cautious, the front gate was completely locked down and it took a lot of patience on my part. On top of that, I completed it within the parameters that you had set. Your father's contacts will just believe he suffered a heart attack and died, a complete accident, though you may want to pay Ayame for helping me when you get back. I'm pretty sure I'm entitled to at least 800,000 ryo." Edan spoke with a confident overtone, he'd learned awhile back that merchants can get very grubby when it comes to money. Nigel looked at Edan and spoke in the same tone that Edan used, "600,000 Ryo, no more" Edan furraled his eyebrows, "700,000 Ryo. It took a lot of convincing on my part and you are now one of the richest merchants in the area, I've made you a fortune and all within the boundaries you set." Edan and Nigel stared each other down, both with unyielding looks in their eyes.
Magnet Soldier
Sedimen glared at Nigel, unseen by either. Just pay him. Just pay him already. He's strong, and he's already seen me. Dont you see how risky this is. Sedimen thought, looking at Edan closely. He looked strong and fast, and had an experienced look in his eye. He was definetaly powerful, maybe stronger than Sedimen. Dont try any thing, Nigel. Your rich already, a Millionaire. You try and bring this down anymore and you'll get busted, and we cant afford that. He sighed and drew the Longsword from his back and stuck it into the ground, then started to perform a few hand signs, preparing an Jutsu. Mysterium Tremendum
Edan put his hands up in the air, feigning surrender. "All right, how about this deal than. You pay me 600,000 ryo for the mission, just as you wanted. You also pay me 200,000 ryo for silence." Edan gave a wicked evil-like grin, "If you don't, I'll just take a nice walk over to a couple of your fathers former contacts and tell them just what happened here, that you hired an assassin and killed your father. Such tragic information would completely ruin your business. I even have a bit of evidence, the concoction that caused your father's heart attack." Edan finished with an evil glint in his eyes that scared Nigel, while holding up the vial that had contained the poison. Edan watched as Nigel went from pale to outright ghostly and spoke once more, only this time his air of confidence completely gone, "All right.... you win. 800,000 Ryo it is then." From the coat he wore, Nigel produced all of the stacks of bills that he'd brought with him, wrapped in white tape. Edan counted the money in silence. When his count reached exactly 800,000 ryo. He turned to Nigel, "One more thing I'd like to know before I leave. It's been bother me, who is the man hiding in the bushes right now?" Nigel stammered back at him, "W-W-What d-do you mean? Nobody is in the bushes." Edan once again rose his eyebrow, "I'm not stupid, for some reason I have an uneasy feeling right now." Pushing Nigel aside, Edan spoke clearly, "Come out whoever you are. I don't know who you are and I have no intention of hurting you. But I would like to know what you're doing here, so come on out, answer a few of my questions, than I leave peacefully." Edan finished, awaiting a response.
!Supra¡
"Huh? What do you want?" the unscarred man asked. "(Heh, it looks like you fell for this one....)" From behind Kazuki, a rather rough-looking bandit stood up from a nearby table. The bandit quickly took out a kunai and point it towards Kazuki's neck. "Alright, who are you and why are you following me?" The bandit, who was really Sosuei using a transformation jutsu to disguise himself, asked in a serious yet also relaxed tone of voice. Sosuei also felt a chill go down his spine right at the moment he pointed the kunai at Kazuki. "(Wait a minute.... This chill.... It's very familiar, could this person be....)" Before Sosuei could finished thinking, a huge bandit rose up and pointed his huge mace at Kazuki as well. "Hey you! You look awfully familiar! Who are you!" the huge bandit demanded. -Elsewhere- Okikimi arrived at a huge crater, his eyes still widened from the surprise of the letter he read earlier. "So they're already making their move huh? Those Akatsuki.... They're really eager to find the legendary Masamune aren't they?" Okikimi was getting rather frustrated. This crater used to be a temple where an old man who was once an apprentice for the great grandson of the creator of Masamune used to reside at, but now, the temple is no more. Malignant
He shifted his body, aligning himself against the wall, his kunai ready for action at any moment. A shadow slowly loomed over the corner of the room, and waiting for the oppotune moment, he crept up to the ceiling. "Target sighted..." He thought to himself, his grip on the dagger tightening. The handle was creaking with the quivering of his anticipation on what might come next. The shadow paused, as if contemplating, and his breathing stilled. Was he too loud? "No." His thoughts resounded in his head. "This is my chance. I've been waiting for it too long for me to even doubt myself." Sidling as quietly as he could possibly could, he waited until the shadow passed the corner. "NYAHAHAH! I'VE GOTTEN YOU, MY ULTIMATE OBSTACLE TO PURITY!!" A loud clang echoed before a burst of water doused the hall, and it's now soaked and teary inhabitant. _____________________________________________________________ "GYAAAAH! THE PAINFUL SOMBER SHAME OF DEFEAT RIPPLES THROUGH THE WATERS OF MY PURITY!!" The figure was revealed as a man dressed in a shockingly light blue outfit that was far too tight to be comfortable for the wearer and the watchers. His hair was long and blazingly red, and his eyes sparkled frequently despite the sun being hidden due to the mist. The man behind the counter twitched slightly, before going back to finishing an order. "Why must my Ultimate Obstacle always be so... so..." His teared welled up, before gushing out comically. "Charitable?" Houka lifted the steaming bowl of tiny dumplings to the overly emotional man in light blue. Accepting the bowl gratefully, he began devouring the plump dumplings with gusto. The stand the two ninja were in was a dumpling stand, amongst the marketplace within the Village of Hidden Mist. It was not very renowned amongst the other dumpling stands around, but it was a good one, with a good discount for frequent customers, and a free sample for newcomers. Houka and his childhood friend-now-wife, had often visited this stand, as he was a distant relative on her part, and she did not want his business to fail, as he was a family member. Even after her sudden disappearance, the owner of the stand still gave him discounts, using the frequent customer as an excuse to give him a little leeway. As soon as the eccentric red headed man swallowed down the final lump of steamed meat, he stood up, his glory fully shining throughout the tiny dumpling stand. "It is settled then. After all of my 142 defeats against you, I must declare you..." He waited with abated breath, a look of seriousness on his face. "MY LONE RIVAL!!!" He finished off with a booming yell, the people outside of the dumpling stand jumping at the suddenly loud voice. Houka stared blankly at the countertop. His head slowly swiveled to the standing blue figure. "What...?" The man in blue did not seem dissatisfied with the sheer look of disbelief Houka was giving him. In fact, it only seemed to spur him on further. "You heard me! From now on, I, Baninku Furaemu, the Searing Mist, accept you, Houka Katsuryu, as my Lone, ETERNAL, RIVALLLLLLLLLL~!!!!!!" Baninku bellowed to the heavens, a blue light emanating from his clothes. The light faded, and Baninku exhaled, his face a look of impassiveness. "Now... I must train to be even more powerful and purer than before!" He immediately took off, a dust trail trailing behind him as he ran off in the distance. Houka stared as the enigmatic shinobi left him in the stall, with one awaiting owner. "I must head to the Mizukage to report this disturbing development. And the mission to Iwagakure." He stood up to leave, but the owner slapped his hand on the table. "And where do ya think you're going, not payin' for your and your buddy's dumplings?" The Swordsman of Mist frowned. It seemed having an Eternal Rival was going to be harder than he thought it would. Esplin 9466 Primary
At some point while Daichi was painting at the waterfall Kurai had managed to gain control and had decided to do what he wanted. After a few unsuccessful attempts at flirting with the girls he had decided to head in to the village. "Dammit Kurai. Give me my body back." Daichi yelled from inside there mind as Kurai flipped up a girls skirt to see underneath. "Learn to have a little fun Daichi. This is the reason why I was created." Kurai replied as he jumped on the roof just before a swarm of girls tried to attack him. "Guess they don't like my idea of fun." Kurai laughed a little bit as the girls all started yelling at him, all of them being our of reach to hit him. "Gee, I wonder if it has anything to do with you trying to look at there underwear." Daichi remarked sarcastically. Kurai was about to reply when he felt a tap on his shoulder, without even waiting to see who it was he grabbed a kunai from the holster on his leg and attacked with a wind element empowered blade, only to have it blocked by Arashi's water sword empowered with lightning element to make it strong enough to stop the wind element. "Earth flash!" Was the last thing Kurai heard before a blast of lightning shot at him. Although the attack was not weak enough to hurt him, it was all that was needed for Daichi to regain control. "That alter ego of your sure causes quite a commotion. Sometimes I worry about what would happen if he turned against the leaf village completely." Arashi said as he put away his weapon and helped up Daichi. "That's not gonna happen. He may get out of hand sometimes, but he will never betray the leaf." Daichi took Arashi's hand and stood up, the lightning attack had gotten to his nerves so he was stumbling a bit as he got up. "Anyways. Thanks for the help." !Supra¡
"Well, I better send an investigation squad to handle this. Afterall, I'm not exactly the sensor-type. Now I gotta stop worrying about work or I'll become like Mizuro." Okikimi walked towards a nearby channel. "Messenger Channels. It's always nice to have these around. Sending information is much more convenient." Okikimi took out a scroll from his back pouch along with a small paintbrush. After writing a few things on it, Okikimi threw the scroll into the water. "Summoning Jutsu: Messenger Pilot Whale!" A small pilot whale then appeared in the Messenger Channel. The pilot whale had bandages wrapped around its upper body along with a Kirigakure headband wrapped around its left fin and a scroll pouch on its back. The pilot whale then gently swallow the scroll. After a few seconds, the scroll popped out of the pilot whale's blowhole and slid back into the scroll pouch. "Alright, bring the scroll to the Investigation Squad Offices." Okikimi said. The pilot whale then shook its head and swam off. Okikimi then walked back towards the village. After awhile, he finally reached Kirigakure where he headed towards the marketplace to find something to feed his appetite. "Hmm, what should I eat?" Okikimi pondered to himself as he looked around the area, picking the different aromas in the air.
Magnet Soldier
Kazuki chuckled, finally reconising who the person he was following was. He pushed the Kunai away from his neck, the blade touching his skin but not cutting it. He shook his head at the unscarred man and apologized. "I'm sorry, I thought you were someone else. You look so out of place here." Kazuki then turned to the man with the Kunai. "Sosuei. Trying to skip work are we. Tut tut, I'd thought you were better than that. Though I cant really say anything." Kazuki smiled and lifted his hood an inch so Sosuei could see his face, but noone else could. He let it fall once again over his face and turn to the man with the mace and sighed. "Please put that away. I wouldn't want any of you to get hurt." Kazuki said, solemnly. The man smirked. "'Ere that boys!" The man shouted. "This guy thinks 'e can take us on! Lets show 'im who 'e's dealin' with!" The man with the mace smirked and lifted his weapon up to strike Kazuki, like the lackeys surrounding them, when the all dropped their weapons and started gagging. "I warned you." Kazuki said, sighing as he lifted his hood. "You should know better than to mess with your Hokage." And he walked away, dragging Sosuei out of the Inn. "I'm sorry for alarming you, Sosuei. But, as Hokage, I had to make sure you weren't an Intruder." Kazuki explained, yawning. "And dont worry about them in there. They wont choke. It was a simple Genjutsu that makes whatever you last drank feel like fire, which in their case was beer, and was in their throats so it made it seem like it was burning their throats." Kazuki chuckled slightly. "So, I gotta get back to the Ramen shop and Isuma, before they start worrying. I said I'd be two minutes, and I've been five. Tell me what happened on your mission as we walk back. And good disguise. You actually managed to fool me. Though it's probably because there were Nin's in there, meaning I wouldn't be able to distinguish chakra." Kazuki smiled as he started walking back towards the Ramen shop. "Sh*t" Sedimen cursed. He walked out of the bushes, the last of his hands signs complete and the Jutsu coming into effect. His longsword was in his hand, but was held casually. You couldn't just give him the money, could you?! He said to himself. No, you had to give him time to be suspicious. Sedimen smiled as he walked towards Edan, hand outstretched. "Mi name's Denima. 'E 'Ired me as a Bodyguard, jus' 'ncase ya 'appened to turn on 'im." Sedimen said, putting on a great accent. "But 'e dont want me bein' seen, 'ncase ya thought I was gonna 'tack ya." Sedimen waited for Edan to shake his hand, for then it would be all over, quickly and effectively.
