Pokemon Paramount Ventures! The New Cygrus Region! [IC/Accepting via OOC]

Shibi was surprised by the evolution since his last battle with Kier. "Alright, I see you've gotten stronger since our last battle. Well, let's get to it then. Go, Bulbasar!" Shibi sent out his Pokémon. "Start off by using Poison Powder!"

-MEANWHILE-

Atrus got up. "Alright, I guess that it's my turn now. I hope you're ready for this." Atrus said, as he walked towards the arena.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Glory was searching the volcano with his brother. "So, what happened when you put the Hedron on the pedastal?" Glory asked.
"Nothing."
"Nothing? Well, that can't be good... Well, at least we don't need it quite yet. It'll be very useful later, though."
"I'm sure it will. So, what have you found?"
"Apparently, Skarmory says that there's some kind of presence up in the sky."
"Hm... Well, Trancella had the Sky Hedron last, and it disappeared along with the Flow Hedron and Celebi , so I guess it makes sense."
Shubura and Zura continued discussing what they had found as they searched the volcano for more Pokémon.

-MEANWHIILE-

Zura Trancella was still in his office. "So they got him out... Ah well, it doesn't matter now that I know where more of the Hedrons are. So let's see here... So there's the Sky Hedron which disappeared, the Flow Hedron, the Space Hedron, Time Hedron, Aqua Hedron, Fire Hedron, Star Hedron, Earth Hedron, and then the one that Glory had before... I still need the location of the others before I can get the last o the pieces..." He pulled out a small, glowing green stone. "I still need the rest of them..."

OOC: techi's feeling sick, so I'm taking over his character for now. Also, it's Randy's father who is now the gym leader.

"Alright, so you ready for this?" Randy's father asked. "Alright, so...Rules are simple: a 1 on 1 battle. Obviously, no substitutions because we're each only using 1 Pokemon each" he said as he dropped a bunch of Pokeballs out from his pack. "Now, as an additional twist, you will choose randomly the Pokemon I decide to use" he said as a holographic screen appeared before Atrus, The screen showed 6 Poke Balls. "Now, touch any one and we can begin!" Randy's father stated as each one of his PokeBalls glowed a different color in correspondence to the color showed on the screen.

"Hello. Um...who are you?" Caden asked nervously as the stranger approached him and Nathan, apparently trying to start a conversation immediately. "Something about combination attacks? What exactly are you getting at?" Caden asked as he looked at his brother.

Gradnis Gym:

Hours went by and finally Caullen decided that he had enough training here in the "gym". Walking out he front door, he thought: Okay that was refreshing but I really need to find the first gym of Cygrus. Maybe if I ask Nurse Joy I can find out where it is.

Gradnis Poke Center:

After finding the Poke Center, Caullen walked in and found no one there. There was a lot on the door that said "ECU", so he decided to call Pro. Birch, a good friend and the man who help start Caullen on his Pokemon Adventure so many years ago. After two rings, Pro. Birch popped up on the screen.

Birch: "Why Caullen! Haven't seen you in some time. How goes your travels?"

Caullen: "Its doing great actually. Made it to Cygrus fine and decided to start fresh. After Johto, I felt it would be better if It would be more of a challenge.

Birch: " You dont think Tyranitar will be upset?"

Caullen: "We had a long talk and we decided that would be okay as long as I dont lose communitcations with my family, where she is staying."

Birch: "Well thats nice. So anything else you want to talk about?"

Caullen: " See I need some help finding the first Gym. When I came to the Supposed location, It looked like it was abandoned an overunned with a forest."

Birch: "Caullen, what am I going to do with you. Remember Bugsy's Gym?"

Caullen: "Yah, but what does that have......Oh. So your saying it is part of the Gym?"

Birch: "Why dont you go back and this time look around."

Caullen: "Okay well it was nice talking to you again."

Birch: "Well Bye."

After hearing this and feeling stupid, Caullen headed back to the gym, hoping to find the gym leader.

Gradnis Gym:

Finally after figuring out it was a maze, he made it to where multiple people were battling it out.

Waving good bye to his family has he and his Gastly Shadow began there pokemon journey. "Bye everyone. When i come back i'll have more pokemon with me and hopefully be the a champion." Delano said "GGGGAAAAAAAAASSSSSSSSSSSTTTLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYY" Shadow shouted. Soon Delano and Shadow left the town and started to wonder on his path to the 1st gym. Pulling out his map Delano looked for where the first gym was. "Man talk about walk just to get to the first gym. O well that will give us time to get some pokemon to help us out. I think it would be best to start getting pokemon out here as the outskirts of Hauntra Town are know for its ghost pokemon. Than we will have to find some Dark pokemon as well as we travel" Delano said to Shadow. "Ga-Gastly" Shadow replied

The two trainers were battling vigorously with their. Hoping one of these Trainers is the Gym Leader, Caullen watched intetly, looking for any weakness and Strategies that might hold to winning a victory.

Elsewhere:

Looking out on the Cygrus Region, Nathanial was sure everything was going as plan. Looking at his Houndoom and back to the Region, He thought, Not even Maximillon would figure out the ongoing work taking place under his nose. When Maximillion fails and is destroyed by his corrupt, I'll be there to to take everything he owns and use it for myself.

Chuckling to himself, He said "Come on Houndoom, Lets go greet the Boss. Its time to go and "congraduate" him on his latest Victory."

As he said this, he called for his shuttle." Yes it is time to go back HQ."

Maximillion was heading through the Alluvium Desert to Terramean City. [i]"The first object I need is located in a map in the next city over, then I must find a way to the other object I need, lastly the key with no map. The thing that shall allow me to contact Palkia and Dialga..."[/i] Maximillion smiled under his mask as he traversed the desert, defeating any and all trainers that got in his way.

It's a sort of crystaline object. Some say it is located in many different places. Some say Graklus Isle, some say near Hauntra Town, some say somewhere in the desert. They say it is incredibly hard to find. If you can provide me with information, I can provide you with something you may need. Such as training for a Gym Challenge or something. Delano walked around the outskirts of Hauntra looking at the many ghost pokemon around the Area. "Which one should we have on our team Shadow" Delano asked Shadow. Gastly looked around than ran at a duskull. Delano nodded than commanded "Shadow use lick attack." "GGASSSTTLY!" Shadow say as he licked the duskull inflicting paralysis. "Alright Shadow use night shade" Delano said. Shadow released a dark beam from its eyes hitting the duskull. "Alright pokeball go" Delano said throwing a red n white ball at the duskull. The duskull entered into the pokeball and wiggles around 3 times before clicking. "Yes i caught a Duskull" Delano "Gastly" Shadow say with a large grin

Team Nebulus Shuttle, over Cygrus Region:

In the shuttle, Nathanial was told that that the boss was headed to Terramean City.

Terramean City?, thought Nathanial, Why on Earth is he headed there.

After some thought, he demanded a reason from the nearest Grunt by lifting him by the neck. "We...ahh..don't know..ahhh..."said the Grunt, trying to breathe. Nathanial then replyed," Then you have no use here." and threw him out the shuttle. All the other Grunts fixed the bodies, becoming still and erect, not wanting to catch the attention of Nathanial. "Alright, switch course to Terramean City!" Nathanial barked and then sat down, eyeing all the other Grunts. He could their fear, and smiled.

But why Terramean City., he thought.

When the shuttle got to its destination, Nathanial got off, waiting for his boss to arrive.

Rectus was flying overboard Terramean Town, when he saw a huge shuttle flying in the air. "Oh, great...Now Team Nebulus is acting on their own?" Rectus thought, as he approached the shuttle on Salamence. Then, he saw a Team Nebulus member get thrown off. He quickly swooped down and the member fell onto Salamence. "Are you okay?" Rectus asked. Then, he turned back to the shuttle. "Ergh...I can't destroy it here, or else it will fall right onto Terramean!" Rectus thought, as he stopped himself from commanding a Hyper Beam. "I guess I'll have to do this another way" he thought as Salamence flew up above the shuttle and landed on top of it.

Caden looked at the strange man questioning them. "Stones, crystallines?" Caden asked himself. He had no clue what this man was talking about. Then, he looked up at Nathan, who seemed to know what was going on...

Maximillion finally made it to Terramean City. He walked through the city turning many heads. Maximillion quickly entered a small tent where a small shop was. "I am here for the map of Adamant." Maximillion said to the elderly woman running the shop.
"No, that map is not for sale..." the old woman said.
"I'm sorry, let me re-phrase that..." Maximillion then whispered his name into the woman's ear and here eyes widened, "M-Maxi? Is that really you!?"
"Yes it is grandmother, I need that map, it is to fulfill your son's dream." Maximillion said with his hand out.
"Yes, I understand." she handed Maximillion a mp.
"Thank you grandmother."

Terramean City:

Looking back at the shuttle, Nathanial noticed a figure on the top of his shuttle.

"What the!? A straggler on my Shuttle? I'll see to that. Crobat, come forth." and with a smooth motion,threw out a pokeball. Crobat came out, with a slow, intiminating "Crrrrrroooo...." Nathanial replyed saying "Knock that idiot off that shuttle with Steel Aerial Ace!" Understanding the command, Crobat's wings started to shine in the sunlight from them becoming a steel-like substance, and flew off.

That should get their attention, thought Nathaniel.

Delano scanned the pokeball to see what his new duskull knew. "Lets see Night shade n leer. The basic attacks of low level duskull. Alright come on out Dusk" Delano said as the duskull he just caught comes out of a flash of light. "Hey Dusk welcome to the Team" Delano said in a friendly tone "Ga-ga-Gastly" shadow said "DDDDDDDDDDDuskull" Dusk said with a face of delight. "Thats one down 4 more to go." Delano said as the Sun started to rise "Looks like we will have to take a break as Ghost pokemon don't like to be out during the day"

"Hmph, I have no time for this" Rectus shrugged. "Salamence, Roar!" Salamence let out a howl, and Crobat glowed red and disappeared. "If I weren't in a rush right now, I would battle, but I just don't have time" he thought. Rectus got off Salamence and peered into the shuttle using a special pair of goggles. "Hmph, the exterior's not built so well here...Salamence, Tri Element Ace!" One corner of Salamence's mouth turned yellow, one turned red, and the other turned light blue. Then, a cloak of light covered its body. Salamece charged into the area and the ceiling of the shuttle broke. "Now, Porygon Z! Come on out!" A mechanical duck appeared and lowered itself outside the shuttle quietly. "Now, rewrite the data of the circuits!" Rectus commanded.

Terramean City:

Crobat came back to Nathaniel looking upset. " You should be, now get back in the pokeball!" Nathaniel yelled, hoping to drive the point in."Alright so we have a Strong one on our line. Electivire come out and lock on to that shuttle." Electivire came out and prepared to lock on to the shuttle. "Fire the Zap Cannon, Now!"

If some wants to hitch a ride on my shuttle, they better be prepared, Thought Nathaniel as the Zap Cannon hit the main engine of the shuttle.

"Lock on to the idiot when he falls and hit him with a shock wave so he wont escape!" said Nathaniel, running to the stalled Shuttle.

Rectus felt a trickle of energy on the surface. "Darn...Porygon Z isn't finished taking control of the engine yet. Ugh...Salamence!" he called out as Salamence swooped him into the air. "Thanks. Proygon Z, return!" Rectus called as the red light returned to his Pokeball. Then, he saw a blue electric attack come his way. "Darn, that's Shock Wave, I can't just dodge! In that case, go! Spiritomb!" he called, throwing a Pokeball, revealing a purple sphere of gas. "Use Psychic to redirect that Shock Wave back at the shuttle!" he commanded as Spiritomb's eyes glowed blue. The Shock Wave stopped and aimed for the shuttle.

Maximillion Exited the tent and ran, according to the map the Adamant Orb was in the middle of the . Alluvium Desert. "Palkia, you and Dialga are close." Maximillion ran into the desert. It was a sandstorm blowing into his face that made him wary of where he was, then he had an idea, "Magmotar!" Maximillion said, releasing his pokemon, "Use sunny day!" suddenly the sandstorm cleared and the sun shone brightly, "Let's go before the sandstorm returns... Maximillion traversed the desert and found a stone written in some sort of ancient text.

Terramean City:

As the shuttle started falling and returning Electivire, Nathaniel was hot on the trail, after stealing a nearby bike from some front yard. I will get that idiot, thought Nathanial, and show hiom that nobody snatches a ride on my shuttle. Noticing that the shuttle was heading towards the skirts of Terramean City, Nathaniel called out "I will get you! Come back out Crobat!" Crobat came out and started fling to catch to his master. " Dont mess up this time. Whatever sent you back, hit it Double Team and then Alternate use of Confuse Ray and Screech. If he still dosent follow you, Attack the trainer. I must show this "kid" whose shuttle he decided to get a free ride from." With that Crobat flew off.

As Maximillion was examining the tablet he looked up to see A HUGE FREAKING SHUTTLE FALLING OUT OF THE SKY!!!!!! "Magmotar Return! Slowking!" Slowking appeared and teleported them just out of range from the crash. "Now can you help me find the orb?" Maximillion asked Slowking, he nodded and pointed in a random direction, they walked, but first Maximillion wanted to know what that crash was so he ran back with slowking to check it out.

Rectus noticed the Crobat flying towards him. "They don't know when to give up..." Rectus thought, as he pointed at Spiritomb. As Crobat was about to attack, Rectus made his move. "Use Taunt!" Crobat stopped in its tracks. With its trainer not there to give any additional orders, Crobat was immobilized. "Salamence, use Hydro Pump! Spiritomb, hit it with Psychic!" The two attacks collided, creating a giant blue wave which crashed into Crobat. "Salamence, end it with Thunder Fang!" Rectus shouted, as Salamence hit Crobat on the wing. "Whoever is your trainer should take better care of you" Rectus said as Crobat fell down.

Outskirts of Terramean City:

"Do you mean that?" said Nathanial as he began to to come into view in the air. It seem impossible for anyone to be able to land on the shuttle while falling and from this height but their he is, rolling onto the top of the shuttle and standing as though it was nothing. Crobat also came back into view a pokeball in its mouth an placed it in his hand."Return." said Nathaniel and Crobat disappeared. Nathtaniel then studied the ball, and remarked "It is a wonder of Science that these were created."

Hitoka's eyes blinked open. He rubbed his eyes and looked around. He saw that he was under a tree, near a river. Everything was so green, so pristine...He figured he has been wandering. He saw that Kingdra was swimming in the nearby river, talking (if you can call it "talking")to a few Magikarp. Hitoka checked his Pokéball. [i]Yup...empty.[/i](His Kingdra has mastered the art of escaping his Pokéball.) Hitoka gave Kingdra a swift look. Kingdra nodded and gave the Magikarp a few parting "words". A red flash later and Kingdra was gone, back in his Pokéball. Hitoka checked his map. He realized he was in Magma Forest. Remembering the fact that Magma forest was a dangerous place, he ran along the river, trying to find a way out...



He eventually found a way out, but that way out was leading straight towards Lavralyn Volcano. He checked his map again, and came to the conclusion that this was the best way out. After a quick thought, he began his trek.

Rectus followed the Crobat, which flew back to its owner. "I thought so" Rectus thought as he jumped down from Salamence, ending up face-to-face with Nathanial. "Hello, there...Nathanial of Team Nebulus" he said with a gruff smile. "Just what do you think you're doing?" Rectus asked as Salamence landed. "Well, I've already extracted enough data on that shuttle" he smirked. "And as for you, we can't just have you randomly wandering around causing chaos and mayhem, can we?" he questioned, as he glared at Nathanial.

Team Nebulus Shuttle:

"The question is," said Nathaniel with a chuckle" is whether the info you took was valuable enough for any one to care." And with a hand gesture pulled a pokeball out. "Come, Dusknoir! Let us show this Meddling fool how we treat our guests." Dusknoir came out with a might "DuuussskkkNNOOIIRRR!" and faced the stranger. "You know, "said Nathaniel " It seems unfair that you know my name but I dont know yours. I think it would be fair if you told me so I can atleast have name to put in the story for my boss, telling him how I wiped the floor with your face."

No "kid" is getting is getting with intel, especially this punk, thought Nathanial
