Pokemon Paramount Ventures! The New Cygrus Region! [IC/Accepting via OOC]

Grovyle apparently got attacked by the poison in the process. "Trapinch, keep it up just a little longer" Kier thought as he saw the leaves. "Now, Trapinch! Use Hyper Beam!" Trapinch fired a blast of bright white light, right through the leaves, into the sandstorm. The Sandstorm turned bright white and it exploded with Grovyle inside. Trapinch was panting. "I think this is probably as far as Trapinch can go....." Kier thought as he watched a silhouette of Grovyle being tossed around by the explosion in the tornado. He looked down at Trapinch, who was using all his energy just to stand.


-MEANWHILE-

Rectus jumped off Salamence and came face to face with 7 Team Draconius grunts attacking Shubura, apparently confronting him with a Dragonite, a Flygon, a Magmortar, a Gyarados, a Scizor, a Drapion, and an Alakazam.

OOC: About Shubura, God Modding much? Also, I changed my post, so go ahead and change yours please.

"Grovyle, dodge it!" Grovyle grabbed onto a nearby treebranch, and swung himself out of the way. "Now, Grovyle, use Boomerang Leaf once more! Because he just used Hyper Beam, he can't avoid this!" Shibinsaid to Grovyle, who shot out the third set of leaves. They flew straight at Trapinch, who was still partially hidden by the sandstorm. However, the leaf boomerangs found Trapinch, and flew straight at it.

-MEANWHILE-

Shubura was fighting some Team Draconius grunts. "Alright Quilava, use Flame Wheel! Turn on your side!" Quilava spun around and was encased inside of a fireball. Quilava then turned on his side, and the flames enlarged, hitting every single one of the grunts' Pokémon at once. "Now, Rhyperior, use Earthquake! Quilava, jump up!" Rhyperior used Earthquake on the remaining Pokémon, and Quilava jumped to avoid the shockwave. "Alright, Quilava, use Thunder Punch!" Quilava slammed his fist down on the Garydos, fainting it along with the other Pokémon. "Get out of here, now. Before my soul really starts burning!" The grunts scattered.

[Zextra]

"Trapinch....you did well" Kier said, returning Trapinch. "However, it looks like the Poison's just about finished with Grovyle as well" Kier stated. "Beldum, go!" he threw a Poke Ball revealing Beldum. "His defense renders even your strongest Boomerang useless!" Kier said as Beldum shined like Iron. "Iron Defense!" Beldum glinted again, raising its Defense further. "Now, Beldum! Zen Headbutt" Beldum charged straight into the already greatly weakened Grovyle.

-MEANWHILE-

Suddenly, a shadow flew above. It was a Team Draconius Commander. "You can defeat Grunts, but we're different" he said, throwing 3 Poke Balls. "Metagross, Gengar, and Dragonite! Attack now!" Every one of them attacked in a different direction. The Commander looked at Shubura intently. Then, the 3 Pokemon struck. Not Shubura's Pokemon, but Shubura himself. Dragonite started ramming towards him as Metagross slammed down behind him from above. Meanwhile, the Gengar kept Shubura's Pokemon busy. "Gengar, Psychic! Immobilize them!" Gengar's eyes flashed blue as Shubura's Pokemon were encased in a blue aura as well, preventing them from moving.

-THEN-

"Salamence! Draco Meteor!" a voice shouted from above. Salamence's belly turned bright red as it let out a huge red beam which exploded into fragments, hitting the commander's Pokemon. While the commander was distracted, Rectus jumped off Salamence and swooped down next to Shubura.

[Dementuo]

Shibi looked up into the sky. "Now... It's finally ready..." Shibi thought, looking through the sandstorm. "Grovyle! Fire your boomerang up into the air! At the sun!" Grovyle jumped to avoid Beldum's Zen Headbutt, and fired off the boomerangs. They disappeared into the sands. Then, seconds later, a massive Solar Beam came down around the entire field, straight down on both Beldum and Grovyle. "Now Grovyle, use Synthesis!" Grovyle started glowing slightly, and the energy from the Solar Beam that had hit Grovyle was transferred into energy which Grovyle used, restoring him to his full strength.

-MEANWHILE-

Shubura looked at Rectus for a second, then turned to the Commander. "Now, Quilava! Thunder Punch!" Quilava came down upon the commander, about to parylize him...

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Glory got up, and decided that he had put off his search of Barren Colloseum with his brother for too long. He had plenty of time to wait, so he was goig to take advantage of that time, and spend time with his brother. "Alright, to Flamvius Town. C'mon, Charizard. Let's go." Zura hopped onto Charizard, and flew off.

[Zextra]

Beldum, though hit, stayed quite strong. "Beldum is a Steel-type Pokemon. Regardless how powerful a grass type move, it won't do much" Kier said. "Now, Beldum, Iron Head while Grovyle's still recovering!" Kier ordered as Beldum's entire body was cloaked in a silver light.

-MEANWHILE-

"Salamence, catch him!" Rectus ordered as Salamence lowered itself, preparing to catch the commander. However, as he fell, his body disappeared. Then, Rectus heard a voice. "Until next time...hehehe". Rectus looked up, seeing the commander flying away on Dragonite. Rectus looked at Shubura. "Must have used Gengar's psychic powers to create an illusion" he explained. "Are you alright?" he asked Shubura.

In the skies about Flamvius Town...

A Dragonite was flying in circles about the coastal city, home for the 3rd Gym Leader, preparing to land. On top of the draconic pokemon stood Giorgio, one of the Elite 4 members and a Dragon-Type Pokemon trainer. He was informed that Corey, the Pokemon League Champion was somewhere in Flamvius and Giorgio needed to talk to him asap. Due to that, the dragon trainer let out his Dragonite and flew all the way from Everflow to Flamvius in search for the Champion.
After ordering Dragonite to land, the yellow dragon pokemon flew directly to a high place near the city, where Giorgio could have a glimpse of the entire city: the houses, the comercial area, the sea... and the gym of Flamvius.

"You think is somewhere around here Dragonite?" Giorgio asked to his trusted pokemon, tapping him on the head "We do need to go down there to check, so if you please, take us to the center of Flamvius. I doubt I can call him to his phone from here..." He looked at his phone "No network. Just as I expected."

The Dragonite nodded and flew once again, to land in a deserted street, where no one could be found. The perfect place for Giorgio to stay, otherwise if the people would reckon him, he would have to deal with fans and he didn't really had the time to do so. "Thank you, Dragonite. You've been a good friend." Giorgio said recalling his main dragon back to his pokeball and snapping his phone with the other hand, dialling Corey's number.

"I just hope he gets it this time..." Giorgio said to himself, checking if anyone was around.

[Dementuo]

Shibi was slightly surprised at Beldum's high defensive strength. "I'm impressed, but don't think that you can win with defense alone. Now, Grovyle! Use Sunny Day once more, then use Leaf Boomerang!" Grovyle started glowing orange as the sandstorm vanished, once again revealing the bright light of the sun. Grovyle then proceeded to send out a set of Leaf Boomerangs. "Alright Grovyle, now charge up a Solar Beam!" Grovyle quickly charged a Solar Beam. "You know what to do next!" Grovyle shot the Solar Beam at the leaves, causing them to shine brightly. "Finally pulled it off..." Shibi thought. "Ok, Grovyle! Hide yoirself in a tree!" Grovyle jumped to a nearby tree and waited for Beldum to follow.

-MEANWHILE-

Quilava jumped back to Shubura's side. "Thanks... You're Rectus, I take it?" Shubura looked at Salamance. "Hm... Yup. You're definitly Rectus. I'm sure you know me already. Right?" Shubura looked at Rectus again.

[Zextra]

"Beldum, Iron Defense!" Beldum glinted again. "Now, use Zen Headbutt against the Leaf Boomerang" Beldum glowed blue and charged into the leaves, cancelling the attack. Then, it started to glow white. "Heh...Beldum's thoughts have connected with me. He's finally reached the point of evolution." Kier thought, not the least bit surprised. Sillouhettes of arms melded out as Beldum's head became flat. "Show yourself, Metang!" Kier called out.

-MEANWHILE-

Unfortunately, Rectus had the call function on his watch turned off, so he did not receive Giorgio's call. "Yes, I'm Rectus" Rectus said. "and yes, I know just who you are, Shubura" Rectus smiled. Suddenly, he felt Dragonite's precense. He punched a text on his watch to Giorgio, telling him to meet him in front of the volcano.

[GiorgioCortes]

Giorgio was anxious waiting for a response from Rectus. It was been awhile since he tried to call the Champion, when he finally heard his phone ring.
A text message from Rectus telling to Giorgio to join him at the volcano, on the front area.

"About time..." Giorgio replied with a smiled, taking his Dragonite pokeball off and pressing the release button. The yellow dragon came out silently and looked at Giorgio with an interrogative expression. "We need to go to the volcano, Dragonite. Rectus is waiting for us there."

The Dragonite leaned forward allowing Giorgio to jump to his back, and as soon as his trainer tapped him gently on the head, the dragon started to flap his wings, flying in circles over Flamvius Town, before heading to the location where Rectus was. From middair, Giorgio could see Rectus silhuete in front of the huge volcano but he couldn't reconize the other person that was with him. Pointing to their location, Giorgio ordered Dragonite to land close-by, and so it was.
At a safe distance from both the Champion and the other trainer, Dragonite landed and Giorgio quickly jumped off, tapping the dragon on his head and recalling him to his pokeball.

"Finally I get to you." Giorgio said walking to Rectus and the other trainer "I've been searching for you, for quite some time Rectus. On Everflow they told me you were in Flamvius but I never thought to find you here, near the volcano area."

[color="#A0522D"]Grey was wandering in Greenvine Hill, looking for the right Pokemon to capture, when suddenly a wild Aron crossed his path.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"An Aron...Alright, let's go, Electrike!" Alex tossed his Pokeball up in the air and it burst open, a white light pouring out. The white light formed into an Electrike, though its colors were more comparable to that of its evolved form, Manectric. "Alright, Electrike, Signal Beam!"[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]Manectric reared his head back, then fired a rainbow-colored beam at the Iron Armor Pokemon, slamming it into a wall. The Steel-and-Rock-type Pokemon got up and ran full force at Electrike, a silvery aura forming around its body and streaming behind it.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"Electrike, counter that Iron Head with Spark!" On cue, blue electricity surrounded Electrike's body and it slammed into the other Pokemon, causing a minor shockwave to travel through the cave. Aron was paralyzed, but aside from that still remarkably healthy. "Alright, Heavy Ball, go!" The ball flew from Alex's hand toward the Aron and opened up, pulling the Pokemon in with a red beam of light. The ball rocked back and forth a few times, eventually stopping and producing a loud [/color][i][color="#A0522D"]BOOP[/color][/i][color="#A0522D"] sound.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"Alright, I caught an Aron!" He then produced a scanning-device-thingie from his pocket and examined the ball containing his newly caught Aron. It revealed it was a male, and knew the moves Iron Head, Head Smash, and Double Edge. He then shut it off, exited the cave, and walked through the town with Electrike at his side, aiming to get through Gradnis forest by sundown.[/color]

[Zextra]

"Hello Giorgio" Rectus said as he greeted the man on a Dragonite. "I would like you to meet the Flamvius Gym Leader" he said, pointing at Shubura. After they had gotten affiliated, Rectus said "Well, it's time we go..." He looked at Shubura. "I would like you to come along as well; your brother would like a word with you" Rectus said as he climbed on Salamence. "So, are you ready?" he asked.

-MEANWHILE-

"Now, Metang! Use Agility!" Metang glowed for a moment, but did not move. "Now, use Scary Face!" Metang's metallic face grimaced into a sinister evil look. Metang projected it at the tree Grovyle was hiding in. "Now, while its speed is lowered, use Psychic to break the tree!" Metang glowed blue, and the tree split in half, revealing Grovyle.

[Dementuo]

Shibi watched Metang break the tree. "Alroght Grovyle, use Quick Attack!" Grovyle jumpd from the tree, and landed on the ground. "Ok, Grovyle, now use Leaf Blade, then use Sunny Day on them!" Grovyle's leaves started glowing very brightly, blinding Metang. "Alright Grovyle, hit 'em with all you got!" Grovyle lunged at Metang, attempting to land a Critical Hit on Metang.

-MEANWHILE-

Shubura looked at Rectus. "Alright, I'll go along. I guess I can use my new Pokemon for this." Shubura pulled out a Pokeball. "Go Skarmory!" The steel bird appeared, and Shubura leapt onto it. "Alright, let's go." Shubura said. "It's been a little too long since I saw be brother last."

[Zextra]

"Metang, use Reflect!" Metang put up a clear barrier. The boomerand hit, but Metang simply shook it off. "Here, let me explain. First off, grass type moves only have half their strength against a Steel type. Next, Metang has already used Iron Defense twice, raising it's Defense by 4 additional levels. Finally, my reflect halves all damage done by physical attacks like Leaf Blade. Now, right as it finishes it's attack, use a Meteor Mash. Also, Metang's speed has been influenced with Agilitt, so it's much faster!" Kier commanded as Metang bolted a Meteor Mash at Grovyle.

-MEANWHILE-

Shubura and Rectus arrived at Evraflow HQ. Rectus inserted his ID card and the door opened. He messaged Zura saying he had a visitor.

[Dementuo]

Shibi was impressed by Metang's Defense. "Alright, so you may have a good defense, but still. So long as I keep chipping away at him, I can win. Now, Grovye! Do what we practiced!" Grovyle leapt into the air, and started glowing green. "Brick Break, mixed with Leaf Blade and Giga Drain!" Grovyle's leavesstarted glowing bright green again, but this time, a white aura surrounded Grovyle, and Grovyle was now moving at Metang with blinding speed.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Glory got the message from Rectus, and smiled. "Guess he really did go ahead to Flamvius. Heh..." Zura got up, and walked over to the Elite Four building. Zura looked around, and saw the two Elite Four members, as well as Shubura. "Hey, Shubura."
"Hey. It's been a while."
"Yeah... It has."
"Well..."
*Sigh* "Alright, here goes... I need your help fighting Team Draconius, and Team Nebulus. We also need to find the resting places for the other Legendaries that haven't discovered yet."
"Like the guys who attacked me earlier, and the Volcano back home?"
"Yup. That's baically it. I'm assuming you'll say yes?"
"Yup. Count me in."
"Thanks Shubura." Zura turned to Rectus. "Let's go to the Conference room. I have to discuss something with all of you, though I don't think that this is the best place for that." Zura approached the door.

OOC: To show my utter confusion, I can have Mako break the fourth wall.

IC: Mako wandered around his village. His Numel, Charmeleon, and Scyther were ready. Of course, he had to catch up on the times. First, he kept hearing things about Famvis town or whatever that town was called. Second, he didnt know where he should be, as he noticed that some people in this RP were way ahead of him. Third, he didnt know what the names of these Gym Leaders were, as how could he figure out which user has the Gym Leader and what he used? "Look at yourself Mako! Your thinking this is a RP... Im going crazy..." said Mako outloud, slamming his head against a tree to make sure he wasnt crazy. His head didnt break open, so he walked into the Gym Leaders room. "Hello, Gym Leader, I declare a challenge to you!" said Mako, feeling foolish.

[color="#A0522D"]Alex strolled into the Pokemon Center when a man bumped into him.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"Oh, so sorry, you are Trainer, yes? Here, this yours. Take from me, please. Appreciate it much." The man ran out of the Pokemon Center in a hurry and shot across town like a rocket.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]Alex then looked down at what the fellow placed in his hand. It was an Ultra Ball, so he thought it would be a strong Pokemon. Excited, he opened the Pokeball quickly, and out popped a Zangoose. The Zangoose slashed at Alex multiple times before Electrike shot him with a Signal Beam. Zangoose got up and glared at the two, then suddenly its expression softened. "Zan, Zangoose!" Zangoose walked back over to Alex and patted him on the shoulder.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"Umm...So, you're...Mine now?" Grey took out his scannermajigger and hovered it over the Cat Ferret Pokemon, revealing it was a female and knew Brick Break, Crush Claw, X-Scissor, and Shadow Claw. "Wow...You're strong...Good to meet you, Zangoose!" He returned Zangoose and Electrike, then handed all his Pokemon to the nurse, who healed them rather quickly. Alex thanked her and left.[/color]

[color="#A0522D"]Alex was now midway through Gradnis Forest and decided to rest for a second. He called out Zangoose and told her to climb a tree and see how far they had to go. She obliged happily and scuttled up the tree. She came back down a few minutes later and pointed to the East. "Thanks, girl. C'mon, lets go!" He took off, with Zangoose following close behind.[/color]

[Zextra]

"Speed doesn't do anything in comparison to Bullet Punch!" Kier shouted. In less than a split second, Metang has hit Grovyle with a surprise Bullet Punch from the back. "Plus, now Metang's speed is on par's with Grovyle's. Let's close the gap, shall we?" Kier explained. As the Bullet Punch connected, Metang's eyes glowed blue. "Now, Psychic to raise Grovyle into the air!" Metang raised its arm and Grovyle started glowing, and was slowly being risen uo. "Now, Meteor Mash!" While Grovyle was still being held upwards, Metang had unleashed a giant Meteor Mash attack on it.

-MEANWHILE-

Rectus, along with Zura and Shubura arrived at the Conference room. "Zura, what did you do with the grunts after I left?" Rectus asked, placing his ID/Card Key into the slot, passing the retina scan.

[Dementuo]

Zura looked back at Rectus. "I left them in the basement to think about their options. I'll go check on them after our discussion. Don't worry, they're fine. Anyways..." Shubura started talking. "We think that because Team Draconius was targeting me, who has Fire-Type Pokémon, that there are some Legendary resting places that haven't yet been discovered. I believe that the one they're currently looking for isnsomewhere in the Forest nearby here. It's not marked on any maps, but it's possible." Shubura explained. "So, what do you think, Rectus?" Zura asked.

-MEANWHILE-

Grovyle was hit, then disappeared. Then Grovyle appeared behind Metamg using the same move combo, but with even faster speed. "I thought that you might try something, so I had Grovyle use Double Team to fake the first move. You're a good trainer, but my lightning fast Pokémon are the best around here." Shibi explained.

[Zextra]

"You're too cocky..." Kier said as he watched Grovyle appear from behind Metang. "Metang is capable of taking plenty of your hits, so use Substitute!" Metang created a dummy copy of itself which, at a quarter of its health, absorbed all Grovyle's attacks. "In addition, its Defense stat is exactly the same as the real Metang, but your attacks are all transmitted to it, leaving the real Metang to attack you freely. Metang, Aerial Ace!" Metang snuck up behind Grovyle and shot itself like a dart at Grovyle. "You're finished" Kier said, watching.

-MEANWHILE-

"It's possible, though I don't believe they need your Pokemon to fight for them. My evidence behind that claim: The commanders have Pokemon with strength on par with us Elite 4 members. Also, they have 5 commanders, each carrying 6 powerful Pokemon each. Also, just stealing your Pokemon wouldn't be enough... Legendaries are legendaries...Normal Pokemon usually don't stand a chance. Plus, even if they were targeting gym Pokemon to capture, the captured Pokemon wouldn't listen, now would it?" Rectus explained. "However, there IS a reason for them targeting your Pokemon, no doubt about that..."

-MEANWHILE-

The Draconius commander was sitting at a computer. "Heh...Almost...next time for sure...." he smirked. "Once we get their Pokemon, we'll be able to charge our ultimate being..." he muttered.

[Dementuo]

Grovyle disappeared once more. "I told you, I was expecting you to pull something like that. I had Grovyle use Double Team to create decoys so that you could never tell which one was the real one. Now, Grovyle! Fire!" Grovyle appeared right behind Metang once more and launched a fully charged Solar Beam, imbued with the power of Giga Drain. "Theres no way Metang can stand up to this, though Grovyle's still pretty weak from the other attacks..." Shibi thought.

-MEANWHILE-

"Yes, alright. Still, what should we do about the forest? And the other Legendary resting places? There are still some to be found, I'm sure, but we need to find thembefore Team Draconius or Team Nebulus find them. Right?" Zura Glory asked.

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

[color="#A0522D"]As Alex reached the end of the forest, he saw someone hitting his head on a tree and shouting.[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]"Hey, are you okay? You need help or anything?" Alex asked, nervously. "I've got some medicine if you need any..."[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]Zangoose approached the person and growled, possibly thinking that the person was suspicious. "Zangoose Zang..."[/color]
[color="#A0522D"]Alex looked around and noticed he was at the Gym. He returned Zangoose and opened the door, strolling in to see a heated battle between a Metang and Grovyle. "Wow, so that's Shibi, the leader...Well, he definitely is leader for a reason..."[/color]

[Zextra]

"And I told you: Substitute absorbs all that damage. In addition, your Giga Drain will fail to sap a thing, since there's no strength to sap from a decoy!" Kier explained. "Now, you're finished! Metang, use Aerial Ace. As you probably know already, Aerial Ace can't possibly miss! Therefore, your Double Team is useless!" Kier ordered. Metang flashed and rushed through all the clones until it reached the real Grovyle. "I told you before, Grovyle's finished!" Kier shouted.

-MEANWHILE-

"I think we should split up. Zura, would you mind checking out Mt. Aquamarine with me? Shubura, if you're willing to help us, can you check out Spacial Ruins? I think they are the resting places of Kyogre and Palkia, the remaining two Legendaries" Rectus said as he took out a Pokeball from his desk. "Though you are not part of the Elite 4, I'm going to make an exception" Rectus said as he handed Shubura a special wristwatch and a Porygon Z.

[Dementuo]

Shibi was slightly surprised by the Substitute still standing. "Must be pretty powerful..." Shibi thought. "Alright Grovyle, now that Metangs' coming straight at you, use Revenge! This attack will pierce your Defense and inflict double the damage!" Grovyle started glowing purple for a second as Metang collided. "Now Grovyle, unleash!" Grovyle seemed to practically explode with power, lunging itself straight into Metang.

-MEANWHILE-

Shubura accepted the Pokémon and the wristwatch. "Thanks. I'll go check the Spacial Ruins right now." Shubura said, as the elevator opened and Shubura went off to Spacial Ruins. "Alright, let's go Rectus." Zura said, as he disembarked the elevator. "So, mount Aquamarine? Well, I guess I could. Good thing I have Grovyle with me." Zura said. "Let's go."

[Ｄｈａｒｃ]

[color="#48D1CC"]Virgil stood atop his Gym with Delibird next to him, looking at the sky. The snow was coming down harder than normal, and the sky was incredibly dark.[/color]
[color="#48D1CC"]"Hmmm...Delibird, what do you think?"[/color]
[color="#48D1CC"]"Hmm...Delibird..." Delibird ruffled around in his satchel and pulled out a glowing pink ball, then chucked it up at the sky. The ball exploded and the sky was no longer dark over the city, but the clouds were closing in fast.[/color]
[color="#48D1CC"]"Well, this isn't good...Something isn't going right..." He turned to the northeast and saw Mount Aquamarine looming in the distance. "Could it...No...Well, it could be...Eh, I'll worry about it later..." Virgil flopped down onto the roof next to Delibird and took a nap.[/color]

[Zextra]

"Still, the damage is minimal. You see, while my Iron Defense has been used, physical attacks, as I've mentioned before, have barely any effect. In addition, the Revenge simply hits my Substitute, which intercepts all attacks until destroyed. "Substitute...It can withstand a lot of physical attacks, but another Solarbeam would destroy it" Kier thought. "However, that Aerial Ace did some damage to it, and the poison from the Toxic should be able to consume it now, considering the fact that the damage Toxic inflicts increases every round as Grovyle attacks" Kier thought. "Metang's strength is about 70% right now...I should be able to hold off..." he thought. "But for extra insurance, Iron Defense to the max!" Kier commanded as Metang used Iron Defense for the 3rd time.

-MEANWHILE-

"Yeah, let's go" Rectus said as he took out his own Pokeball. "Salamence!" the blue dragon emerged and Rectus climbed on. He took the lead, flying out of the office. "Shubura, contact us if you find anything. Good luck" Rectus said as he flew off with Zura.
