Pokemon Paramount Ventures! The New Cygrus Region! [IC/Accepting via OOC]

Ashmin stumbled off the ferry. "These things will be the death of me." She muttered, clutching her stomach. Finding the sick feeling less severe then the first time, she relaxed. "Now, to challenge that Gym Leader. I might just have to go full force instead of using type advantages." She plotted. Walking up to the Gym, and swallowing her fear of loss, she walked inside.

-----Only moments Later-----

"Typhlosion, stand strong, I need you now! Use Eruption!" Commanded Ashmin. Typhlosion did so, and lava shot up all over the place. Her opponents Pokemon was hit, and knocked out. With a smile of pure relief, Ashmin walked foward and accepted her badge, and returned Typhlosion. "[i]Yeah, that's right, Quilava evolved at last. Now it's stronger than ever as Typhlosion. Diglett evolved part way through it's batle into Dugtrio, and that may assist me, or it may not. So far, Trapinch and Marril are still the same, but that doesn't matter.[/i]" Ashmin smiled as she walked into the Pokemon Centre. "Can you heal my Pokemon?" She asked. "Sure thing." Replied the Nurse Joy, and she left the room with the 4 Pokeballs. "Now to wait."

"Pidgey,Yanma, go!" Wilas yelled as he sat and trained his pokemon in the desert. "Yanma, use aerial ace. Pidgey, keep on using gust to blow him away, and try to learn aerial ace from yanma." Wilas saw the two pokemon understood, and started training Odish and Flaafy. "Go! Odish, Flaafy! Odish, use Energy Ball over and over. Flaafy, use Brick break to slice the energy balls in halve."

"Alright everyone good job. Return Flaafy, Oddish. Return Yanma, Pidgeotto. Wait! What!? Cool! Pidgey evolved into Pidgeotto! Let's see if he learned Aerial ace." Wilas took out his pokedex and scanned the pidgeotto. "sand Attack , Gust, tackle, Aerial ace-" "YES!" Wilas interupted. " Quick Attack, and Twister." The pokedex said. "Cool! Three new moves! Nice jobs everyone. let's see..... Aha! there's a good place to stay!" as he pointed at a Trapinch trap. Realizing that it was a Trapinch trap, Wilas said: " Oddish,Pidgeotto, Go. Oddish, use sleep powder on that hole. Pidgeotto, carry the sleeping trapinch away from here" The pokemon did as they were told and wilas climbed into the hole, ready for what laid in front (Or should i say Behind?) of him.

Leonard sent out his Blaziken, and Shibi sent out Grovlye. Before being offensive, Leonrd ordered Blaziken to use Flamethrower on all the trees. This way, Shibi's Pokemon couldn't hide in the trees. Shibi ordered a Quick Attack from Grovyle, who shot out at Blaziken. "Blaziken, use Blaze Kick!" ordered Leonard, and so Blaziken hit Grovyle with the move, severely hurting it. "Now, Sky Uppercut!" The Blaziken punched Grovyle, which knocked out.

"Bulbasaur, finish Leafeon with Leaf Storm!" The Leaf Storm had knocked out Leafeon, and the Flow Badge was given to Leonard, now there he was, off to the Cygrus League.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Caullen vigorusly trained at Lavralyn Volcano. His Croconaw was becoming increasing more powerful and Larvitar had evolved to Pupitar, making more and more training needed so he could get use to the new form. Caullen caught a Torchic that was running around in the Magma forest, which had almost become a dissaster when a tree was sent on fire and almost fell on the Torchic. But after Much training, The Torchic evolved to Combusken, and was even at par with Croconaw. To make things better, kirlia evolved again, to a Gardevoir. Now having a formidable team, he went to the Flamvius Gym.

After 30 minutes or so.....

Caullen made it out with the third badge. The Gym leader was fierce, but was no match for Pupitar and Croconaw. With all the smog that was going around, Caullen had to put on a mask so he could breathe. Now that the badge was his, to the Grakius Isle so Caullen could get the badge from there. Looking on a map he say that it was exactly the way he came. Nowing he needed to find a faster wat to get there, he found a Hot-Air Balloon Service. After getting a ride secured to the Isle, he made his way, enjoying the veiw along the way.

Grakius Isle...

Ghost are meant to be frieghtening but Caullen and his Team werent scared of anything, including a few ghosts... Now that training was needed, Caullen set off on the Isle to prepare for the Gym. They took about a week, but training was going very smoothly. Right away he found an odd color Trapinch, which he knew he had to catch. He caught it.....as it bit his hand and wouldnt let go. But he caught the Green Trapinch, and trained it so it would at the same Calibur as the rest of the Team. During the week, Combusken and Croconaw both Evolved, making the Team even Stronger......It was like a rival between Blaziken and Feraligatr, always to see who could do something first. Trapinch Evolved into a Vibrava, but the odd color stayed, but changed. It Had brtown on its wings instead of the Normal Green. Feeling Confident, He headed to the Grakius Gym.

An hour later....

Caullen's head hurt. Whenever the Leader's Tyranitar would use Rockslide, a rock would hit his head. It was like taking a lamb to a slaughter house. Every move was either countered or outdone by the leader's pokemon. Houndoom went down after Blaziken used Cllose Combat, only to have fainted himself. That Tyranitar really was a force to be reckoned with. Feraligatr and Tyranitar were like 2 wrestlers, trying to throw one another, causing Feraligatr to be thrown into the Audience (the other Trainers there). After this, Sorano stopped the battle, congradulating him for his Pokemons determination. Now given him the badge, Caullen hurried out, hoping thatthere was still time before the comference started.

Leonard rode Pidgeot back to Evraflow, where he signed up for the Pokemon Cygrus League. He walked around the league. [i]Maybe that guy Scott was talking about was here...What was his name? Atrus? I guess I should look for him.[/i] Leonard though to himself. He looked around and asked questions about the paerson named Atrus. Soon he came up to the real Atrus without knowing it. "Hello, do you know somebody named Atrus?" he asked. He needed to warn this "Atrus" person about Scott. He knew something bad was going to happen, but what?

[DeathSDelano]

After 2 Hours....

Delano finally made it across the bridge and into the desert. "O great a desert at least i have Steel with me. Steel come on out" Delano said as his Steelix appeared. Delano than climbed onto Steel's back. Steel carried Delano through the desert. Delano looked at the desert pokemon that he past. "Some interesting pokemon around here, but not that suits my fancy."


3 hours later....

Delano finally came into town. "Thanks Steel" Delano said putting Steel back into her pokeball. "Now to look around and see if there is anything here."

[Serenity the Candyman]

Caullen was indeed happy with his victory, but he needed to get to Rockius Mountainside, as the map said, was the location of the next Gym.

Rockius Mountainside...

After hitching a ride again with Brett (the Hot-Air Balloonist,) He made it to Rockius Mountainside, where the water is said to be most excellent. And what do you know, it was. After a day break enjoying the water, It was time for Caullen"s Week Long Montage!(For this is wha he called it.) As the Week came to a close, many things happened. The Vibrava evolved to Flygon, with blue stripes on its body. The Blue sparkled in the Sunlight, almost blinding Caullen. Cauulen tried team battling, so that combinations could be formed out of the most unusual things. As the Sunset on the lastday of the week, It was time to face Vaten, the Gym Leader.

After 40 minutes..

Caullen was soaked and shocked at the same time as he left the Gym. Note to self: If your surrounded by water and your pokemon knows an eletric move, dont use it till you know your out of the water. He had Gardevoir in the water with a bubble made from Psychic, allowing movement. After the Buizel and Gardevoir were knocked out in the from Gardevoir's Shockwave, Caullen jumped in to get her, not realising that the Shock Wave's energy was still in the Water. Vaten laughed, stopping the battle. He gave him the badge, and helped him to the Poke Center. Now Rested, he called Brett to take him across the water to Immortafreeze City

Immortafreeze City.....

It was cccoooollllddddd!!!! The balloon almost crashed when a blizzard hit them over Immortafreeze City. When they landed, Brett expained it may take time to get ready for the balloon to fly, so dont hurry. Caullen began his training in the snow, as the Montage began again. Due to the Snow and Ice, Trainig became more difficult and and more extreme. But due to this Training, Pupitar evolved to Tyranitar, which caused problems, especailly when earthquake + snow on mountain was in play. The Survived the Week, and headed for the Gym to take on the Ice.

[Dementuo]

Atrus looked over at his bedside clock. It read 7:00. "Alright... Time to get back to work..." Atrus got up, changed, and went outside. "Alright, today's the last day before the Conference... It's already here. That sure flew by quickly..." Atrus held up the small stone to the light. It was as bright as ever. "...And yet, there's still so much left to do. I guess the last thing to do would be to fill up the National Dex, though I already filled up most of it in the Kanto and Johto regions..." Atrus said to himself.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura looked at Nathaiel. "Why I'm here? I would ask you the same thing, but I won't. I'm here because of Giratina, not that you would know." Zura said. "Either way, if you know why he's here, then I would appreciate it if you would tell me. Either way, Giratina isn't staying. He can't.

-MEANWHILE-

Shibi looked at the gym from outside. "Man... To think that it looks like every gym out there... Amazing how appearances can deceive." Shibi thought. Shibi unlocked the doors, and went to the back of the gym, waiting for any last-minute trainers.

[Serenity the Candyman]

(ooc: finally back to Nathaniel! yah!)

IC: Nathaniel looked at Zura and nodded, " Well if you want to stop the culprit behind this, its that traitor Dante!" Nathaniel needed a way to take the heat off him and Dante looked perfect. "He has the Griseous Orb and plans to take control of him. I have no control over him. If you could do it I would be Grateful...Maybe even stop trying to make my plans come to life." A lie of course, but he wouldnt know.

[Zextra]

Caden made his way back to his room. "Only one day left...I can't hang around here" he thought. As he entered his room, he noticed a box outside. "Hm...this is for me?" he thought as he looked at the tag in the front saying "For Caden". He opened it to reveal a couple of Rare Candies, an Expert Belt, and something else. "Hmmm...I wonder who sent this..." he thought, smiling. Next, he went down to the lobby, where he talked to Nurse Joy, and sent Professor Rowan three of his Pokemon: Lucario, Gallade, and Glaceon. In return, he received three others. He put on a black cloak that covered his body, and put on a cap. He followed to write a note, which he placed under the door of his room. "Sorry, Nathan...I can't stay any longer" he thought. "Dragonite, let's go!" He released a yellow dragon from one of his Pokeballs. He hopped on, and flew off. "Destination: Evraflow" he thought.

"Ahh!!! Finally! Muahahaha! Shibi Torarian I challenge you to a battle!" Blake then approached Shibi at the entrance of the Gym "Alright Lets Get started! Go Explo!" A red laser then shot out of a pokeball and came out Explo the Cyndaquil. "Quil!" Better be ready dude."

Ashmin leapt onto yet another ferry. "These things will be the death of me." She muttered. "Until I geta Pokeon that knows fly." With a sigh, she sat down. "More waiting, more feeling sick..... Story of my life." She complained to herself. "Oh well, I hope it's over and done with soon." With a bored sigh she pulled out a book, and began to read.

------1 hour later, in Immortafreeze------

Ashmin, again clutching her stomach, stumbled off the ferry, her face green. She shut her eyes tight closed, and eventually her face stopped looking green. With a sigh, she wandered towards the gym, taking deep breaths to avoid throwing up. "Those really WILL be the death of me." She muttered angrily, walking into the gym, feeling cold. Even with scarfs and coats on she wasn't warm, but maybe battle would heat her up. She found herself at the ecentre ofthe gym, and said the gym leader, "I challenge you to a Gym battle!" Ashmin declared.

-----A few moments later---------

"Ok Typhlosion, lets go full force! Use Rollout! Then Flamethrower!" Commanded Ashmin, still feeling slightly sick. Typhlosion hurled 3 boulders at the Gym Leaders Pokemon, then set them alight. These flaming boulders collided with the Pokemon, making it faint. "Yes!" Exclaimed Ashmin with joy. Accepting her Gym Badge, she left. "Now, on to Gloomdelta! But first, the Pokemon Centre. At least I don't have to take another ferry for a while." Ashmin muttered.

(OOC: I'm double posting, with good reason, the fact I want to get to the leauge in time)
Ashmin exited the Pokemon Centre, after she'd brought another coat. Finally, warm, she sighed. Looking around at the endless snow, she suddenly felt a pang of homesickness. "True, no place in the Johto is lik this, but it's been SO long since I last saw my family and friends.... I'll contact them on my Pokegear after my next gym battle." Ashmin decided, asking for directions to Gloomdelta. Someone told her, and she set off, making a quick mental note to catch a flying Pokemon before the league. Then it'd be so much easier to get around. With another sigh, she continued.

-----1 1/2 later-------

Ashmin flopped to the ground and tore off her coats, sweating furiously. After leaving Immortafreeze it was hot, and with all her coats an scarves, she boiled. Grabbing the coats in a massive pile, she attepmted to shove to shove them in her bag, but only half would fit. With a sigh, she tried again, and the moment she succeded she zipped her bag shut. Putting on her back, she could hardly get up. "Uggh, it'll take me DAYS to reach Gloomdelta at this rate!" She groaned. Glancing around, she noticed a quick moving shadow in a nearby tree. "Go Marill!" She commanded. The aqua mouse pokemon appeared. "Use Hydro Pump!" Declared Ashmin. The Pokemon did so, the strong jet of water slamming into the fast moving shadow. It fell to the ground, and Ashmin threw a Pokeball. One.......two.......three.........The Pokeball shook, then stopped. "Great!" Declared Ashmin. Picking the Pokeball up she scanned it with her Pokegear. "So, a Noctowl hey? I can teach it fly!" Rummaging in her pockets, she pulled out a HM. Bringing out the Pokemon, she gave the HM to it. The Hoot-Hoot glowed slightly as it recieved it. "Ok, lets fly!" Commanded Ashmin. She jumped onto Noctowl's back and they flew towards Gloomdelta.

-----half an hour later (sorry if this is long, I want my BADGES!)-------

Ashmin landed in Gloomdelta with her tired Noctowl. Returning it the moment they reached the ground she ushed to the Pokemon Centre, where she healed it. Selling her coats, she had less weight on her shoulders,which benefitted her greatly. Taking her Noctowl back from Nurse Joy with a smile, she walked towards the Gym, and entered.

------3 minutes later-----

"Noctowl, give it all you got! Use Fly, then use Zen Headbutt on your way down!" Commanded Ashmin furiously. Noctowl flapped it's wings quickly and rose into the air, then shot downwards, head glowing, and it slammed into the Gym Leader's Pokemon, making it faint. With a relieved sigh, Ashmin accepted her badge, and walked out of the gym into the Pokemon Centre. "I'll be in Hauntra Town soon, then Evraflow is just around the corner. I know I can make it!" She said detirminedly.

(OoC: I don't mind losing the first round to another player. If they want to win, I will let them)

IC: Leonard knew there was only one day left until the league. He decided to get some rest. It was going to be a big day tomorrow. He knew that it would be tough, because he was only 14, and there were people in their 20's probably going to be here. Then he though that he couldn't rest because he had to train. He went outside the building. He knew the only non-evolved Pokemon he had were Bulbasaur, which he preferred not to evolve, and Pupitar. He trained Pupitar all night, and into the next day. It still wouldn't evolve. They both tried their hardest.

---------------MEANWHILE---------------

Scott needed another battle, for he was getting bored. After he reported to his master, he thought Leonard would be at Evraflow by now, and therefore headed there. He simply told the boss he was going to check the area again, even though he was going to Evraflow. He disguised his ship once more as a News chopper, and flew off in the direction of Hauntra. After the hideout was out of sight, he turned and went to Evraflow. When there, he found Leonard training. "Hey, Leonard! Over here!" he whispered.

"What are you doing here?" Leonard asked. "Trying to help you. The tournament is tomorrow, and you're Pupitar has to evolve if it wants to help you." Scott sent out Feraligatr. "We have to push it to it's limits. Hydro Pump!" The alligator Pokemon shot a large pump of water at Pupitar. "Rockslide!" The Pupitar dropped a barrage of rocks attempting to block the attack, but the water broke through and both the rocks and water hit Pupitar. It then started to glow white and change shape dramatically. It evolved, and Scott returned Feraligatr. "Nobody can hear about this," he said. So after a few more hours, he left to go back to the base. "Nothing sir."

[Dementuo]

Zura Glory just stared at Nathaniel for a second. "Do you honestly believe that I would trust you? The Griseous Orb can't control Giratina alone." Zura pulled out a small stone. "You know what this is?" Zura asked.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Trancella looked over at Scott from his window view. "...Alright, thank you. You are dismissed." Trancella said. "...I need to find that boy... And the rest of those..." Trancella thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Atrus looked around for anyone else who was at the Conference. He noticed someone training with a Tyrannitar. Atrus walked over to him. "Hello, I'm Atrus. Are you here for the Conference as well?" Atrus asked.

[Serenity the Candyman]

" Well, that depends if I want to know." Nathaniel said. Not wanting to deal with Zura at the moment, he turned his back on him and went towards the HQ building. Afterall, he had to find the last item on his list to create the Ultimate Weapon. As he continued to walk away, Nathaniel said,"My Sympathy goes to you Zura. You have many responsibilties, but you cant be at two places at once."

Meanwhile..

Caullen made another mental note. Wear a Jacket when the Gym is in Immortafreeze City. That did not stop his Team though. They really showed what the training did for them. Ice was everywhere, but as soon as Blaziken came out, The Ice seem to have melted. It didnt stop the leader's pokemon. In the end, Caullen's Team showed much strength, or at least that is what the Leader said. Holding on to the Sixth Badge, He felt nothing could Stop him. Brett fixed up the balloon, and now headed to the next Gym, in Gloomdelta.

Gloomy Shades/ GloomDelta?

Caullen had Brett land the Balloon in Gloomdelta after an hour of trying to see where this was. After some compass directions and a few phone calls, they landed safely. Caullen immediatly began the Montage once again, hoping training in the Shades could provide the needed Training against Lucas, the Brain of the 8 leaders, so to speak. It was amazing in the Shades, with the life that exsisted for such a foggy place. There was a scyther that kept coming out to slash his training Team, so to prevent this, he caught it with the help of Flygon. That Scyther was indeed very aggressive, but now that he was part of the Team, Caullen trained him nonetheless. Like before, the week ended, and his Team was pumped up and ready to encounter Lucas.

Gloomdelta Gym

Lucas did look intimidating, with his Metagross and Absol. Caullen had to change his strategy when against that Absol. When the Alakazam came out, it was a psychic showdown with Caullen's Gardevoir. The walls were flying apart and the ground began to loosen when the both used Psychic and they collided. Caullen came out victorios when the Absol showed up and the Blaziken taught it how a real Warrior Spirit is. Blaziken Really did not let up. Lucas had to stop the match before any real harm was done. Taking off towards Brett with the Badge in hand, Caullen noticed Ashmin in the air. Getting the Balloon, he set off towards Hauntra Town.

[Sakurazaki Daisuke]

After Sono woke up, he noted that time passed a lot."[i]No, I've fell asleep! Need to go to Flamvius City and heal my Pokemons!![/i]" he thought while running back to Flamvius City.After 8 minutes of running he reached Flammvius City again and headed to the Pokemon Center with the same speed."Nurse Jiy, could you please heal them?" he asked as the nurse took his Pokeballs from his hands and his Vulpix from its head.During the time when the Pokemons were being healed by the Nurse, Sono picked up his Pokedex and check where was the next Gym."Next Gym is on Graklus Island, the Gymleader is a user of Dark-Types and the most important, the place is ver far from here!" he said quietly while the nurse called for him to get his Pokemons."Thank you, Nurse Joy!" he said as he smiled and headed to the nearest ferry he could found, the boat was close to set sail when Sono appeared and entered it the same time he bought the ticket."Now, I will need to wait... I cannot resist I will eat my chocolate as my consolation prize" he said while taking some Chocolate out of his bag,"Yuko-Chan, want some?" he asked as the little Vulpix answered with a quiet growl, he placed a part of the bar on Vulpix's mouth and started to eat his remaining part of the bar" and started to think on what to do after he leave on Graklus Isle.

----------About 3 housr later------------

"I think we are halfway to reach the Isle, right, Yuko-Chan?" he asked to the now sleeping Vulpix, "[i]At least, I'm with my chocolate... I guess I will check up the next Gyms...[/i]" he thought while picking up his Pokedex from his bag."So there's an Mountainside that homes a Gym and have an item called Spring Waters, I need to test them when I go there!" he smiled while the time flowed fastly.

----------About more 3 hours later---------

"Finally, Graklus Isle, first thing to do is visit the Gym and earn my next badge!" he said while lefting the boat and heading to the local Gym.After finding it, Sono entered and found the Gym Leader."Hello, mister Gymleader, I'm here to challenge you to a Gym Battle" he challenged as the Gym Leader accepted and introduced himself as Sorano, then the battle started "You will be the first to battle, Yuko-Chan?" he ordered as the Vulpix jumped down from her owner's head.The leader threw a Pokeball and revealed an Absol and the battle started."Yuko-Chan, use Will-O-Spin Combo!!" Sono started to order as the Absol was with its horn glowing in white.

-------A while after-----------

"[i]I cannot believe he defeated Yuko-Chan, Hikaru, Kaoru and Aoi-Chan with just some hits from that Absol[/i]" he thought scared while throwing his last Pokeball."Beat this Absol, Ako-Chan" he said while the Pokeball revealed a pink Cottonweed Pokemon, "Ako-Chan use Leech Bounce Combo, now!!" he started to order while the Hoppip jumped and come back to the floor, next hitting the Absol that dodged and place its claws on the Hoppip's body making it unable to move anymore, the Hoopip was immobilized and the claws in Absol's other paw started to glow making the final hit when suddenly the little Hoppip started to glow in white and change its form, it was evolving, when the light dissapeared it revealed a Skiploom in the place of Hoppip."[i]Ako-Chan, evolved to Skiploom...[/i]" Sono thought while adding to his last order "Ako-Chan use Splash and break Absol's focus" the the Skiploom than started to try splash and make Absol lost its balance, making it retreat a little, then Sorano said that Absol did a real good work and returned it to its Pokeball and offered his Gym Badge as a reward for the good battle."Sorry, but I cannot accept this badge now, I didn't beat you. Maybe you can give it to me when I become stronger" Sono said with a surprise face and sad look, Sorano then placed his hand at Sono's shoulder and said he was going to be a very good trainer in the future.Then he returned to turned back and entered in a mysterious door in the back of the battlefield Sorano and Sono were battling.Sono than returned the Skiploom and said quietly "You were great there", then he left the Gym and headed to the Pokemon Center to heal his injured Vulpix and other Pokemons.

Leonard looked over at Atrus, but did not know who he was. "Yes, I'm here for the conference. My name is Leonard. Do you have any clue where a man named Atrus may be? I've been looking for him for quite a while. I have urgent news to tell him. Somebody's after him.

"Thank you, sir," Scott said, about to return to his room, when he remembered something. "By the way, sir, I know this is a stupid question, but during the Evraflow conference tomorrow, can I be there? I have a thing for battling, it is fun to me, and I like watching the battles very much." Scott's real goal here was to watch Leonard battle. For some reason, he had grown a fondness for that boy, but for what reason?

[Sakurazaki Daisuke]

After reach the local Pokemon Center, Sono entered and asked to Nurse Joy "Could you please heal them?", the Nurse nooded and took the 5 Pokeballs from Sono's hands."Okay, I need to cheer up and look forward to my next Gym Battle in Rockius Mountainside" he thought as the Nurse called him to took his Pokeballs back, "Thank you, Nurse Joy!" he said and left the Pokemon Center heading to the ferry.Then he bought his ticket to Rockius Mountainside and entered the boat and waited there.After some time, the boat set sail and Sono picked a Pokeball from his bag and said "Come out, Yuko-Chan, I need company", then the Pokeball opened and revealed a fox-like Pokemon, when the Vulpix saw its trainer it jumped on his head and started to growl happily."Now, I just need to wait..." he thought as he fell asleep.

The boat landed and Sono's Vulpix growled loudly near its trainer's ears, "Thannk you for the advice we landed, Yuko-Chan, but next time try to make less noise" he complained with the little fox.After he left the boat, "[i]Okay, now first thing to do is find the Gym.Then buy some Spring Water if I earn the local badge and then sleep at the famous located Hotel[/i]" he thought while searching for the local Gym.After some minutes Sono found the Gym and entered it.After reaching the Battle Room, "Gym Leader, I challenge you to an official Gym Battle!" he challenged the Gym Leader that acepted and introduced himself as Vaten, "Let's begin our battle, come out Ako-Chan!" he threw a Pokeball that revealed a Skiploom, the Gym Leader threw his one and from it appeared a Starmie ready for a battle, "Ako-Chan use Leech Bounce Combo!" Sono started the order to the Cottonweed Pokemon.

-------------Some minutes after------------

"[i]He beat Ako-Chan, Hiaru and Kaoru with this Kingdra! At least, I've done several damage to it, I think I will send my Aoi-Chan to finish this with a Dragon Pulse[/i]" Sono thought and threw his next Pokeball "Come out, Aoi-Chan!" he ordered and from the Pokeball revealed a blue little bird, "Aoi-Chan, use Dragon Pulse and hit the face of that Kingdra!" he ordered and the little bird obeyed it glowed in white and a sphere of green energy started to be formed from its mouth.After some seconds the orbs was shot and the Kingdra was hit by it, the leader then ordered to his Kingdra to use Recover, then the Kingdra shined in kind of yellow and started to recover its injuries, "Don't let that happen, Aoi-Chan! Use Attract and distract that cursed Kingdra!" Sono ordered as the Swablu started to act cute and distracted the Kingdra, Sono than grinned and added to his last order "Use Dragon Ace Combo, please!" the little Swablu heard and started to dash in the direction of the Kingdra it dissapeared in fron of him then hit it from back the little bird then launched the green sphere that was formed during the last move and shot it so close that was impossible to dodge making a huge damage on the Kingdra and creating a cutain of dust.When the dust went down Kingdra was defeated and Aoi-Chan was covered with a white light, it was evolving.Then, the light dissapeared and revealed a gorgeous Altaria from it that flew in Sono's direction and started to hoot loudly.The leader then offered the badge and Sono accepted, "Thank you for the battle!" Sono thanked the Gym Leader to help his Swablu to evolve into an Altaria and left the Gym with his new badge with Altaria following him and Vulpix on his head."Now, let's go to the Pokemon Center and heal all of you, right?" Sono asked to the Pokemons while entering the Pokemon Center, "Nurse Joy, could you heal my Pokemons, please?" he asked as the Nurse nooded and took the pokeballs from Sono's Hand, the Vulpix from his head and the Alataria from the counter she stopped on, after some time they were right back, Sono then took his Pokeballs and said "Thank you, Nurse Joy" and left the Pokemon Center and contined his tuor throght Rockius Mountainside."So according to my list, next thing to do is buy the famous Spring Water!" Sono appointed to Aoi-Chan and Yukp-Chan while searching for a seller of the famous water.Some time later Sono found a seller of it by the side of the Rockside Hotel, after bought the water Sono offered some to his Pokemons and drinked some too.He made a surprise face, "This water is sooo wonderful! Don't you think so, Aoi-Chan? Yuko-Chan?" he asked and both Pokemons nooded, "Now, let's rest at the famous Rockside Hotel, that's right there!" he said while smiling and heading to the luxurious Hotel."May I take a room?" he asked to the attendant, the attendant gave him a key and wished good stay.Then Sono went to his room and fell asleep on the comfortable bed located in it while Aoi-Chan and Yuko-Chan were sleeping on the carpet located by the side of the bed Sono were sleeping.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Caullen could feel the Conference in his hands.....but one thing stood in his way...Enzo, the king of all things Ghosts. Caullen remembered facing Morty, Pheobe, and Agatha in his younger years, and he knew Ghost Pokemon were something you had to be careful about. As the Balloon crossed the Woodra Peninsula, Caullen knew his team was almost ready, but one more week of Training was needed.

Hauntra Town

The balloon landed and at first glance you could tell, this was am eerie place. Caullen now made up about 1/5 of the people in a mile that was around. Caullen and his Team did not waver as they began thier training. Caullen had ordered a metal coat before leaving Immortafreeze City and made sure it was delivered to Hauntra Town. Originally, he wanted it to buff up his shoes (appearently his shoes had some steel on the outside of the Design???) But now that a Scyther was in hi Team, He evolved it to a Scizor. Now that he had a hard Defence kind of a pokemon that has Speed, He continued his training, having his Gardevoir do some unusual feats. Finally, the week ended, ushering in the beginning of the last Match in Caullen's Cygrus Gym Challenge.

Hauntra Gym

When Caullen said he knew how to take care of Ghost Pokemon, maybe he should have waited to say that after the match. Gardevoir was the only pokemon that did not fall asleep, so Caullen became more like an Alarm Clock then a Trainer. It was a three on three, but Spiritomb was the hardest, going crazy with those Dark Pulses! In the End, Scizor ended the Spiritomb with Speed and Double Team. Getting that Badge was like unlocking Heaven for him, and he breathe a sigh of relief. It was finished. Like all the other Regions he had faced, he was a Victor, with a winning Team at his Disposal. Grant, his partner from Johto said he couldnt without some of his other pokemon that had the experience. Looking at his watch, he saw that he had time to get to Evraflow City.

Evraflow City

Brett was told to land in the center of the arena that held the Conference, which he did. Caullen Thanked Brett and told him that he could, but he wanted to stay and watch as Caullen battled his way. Caullen agreed and now was lost, he needed to registor but he did not know where to.

Leaving the Pokemon Centre, Ashmin looked at her watch. "I only have one day left." She muttered. "I better get moving." She grabbed a Pokeball. "GO Noctowl!" A red light emitted from the ball, revealing Noctowl. Jumping on to it's back, Ashmin commanded, "Now Noctowl, fly to Hauntra Town!" Noctowl flapped it's wings, and they set off, heading towards Hauntra Town, where the last badge lay waiting.....

------Half an hour later-------

Ashmin landed, returning Noctowl, and looked around. The town was reasonably scary, in a way, and it looked almost as if those rumours were true. As she thought this, Ashmin shhok her head to get rid of that thought, and walked towards the Gym. "The final Gym of this region......I MUST win! If I don't I won't make it to the league in time....." Shaking slightly with fear, she summoned up her courage, detirmined to win. With a deep breath, she entered, and challenged the Gym Leader.

-------2-3 minutes later-------

"Dugtrio, this is it! The final chance! Use Night Slash!" Ashmin commaned, fearful of her chances. Dugtrio reared back its three heads, then shot foward, claws matterialising to scratch the Gym Leaders Pokemon. This move hit home, ramming into that Pokemon. It staggered for a moment, then fell to the ground. The Gym Leader returned it, and handed Ashmin the badge. Ashmin grinned as she looked at the shining badge gleaming dully in the dim light. "The eighth badge....It's finally mine..." She grinned happily, then left, returning Dugtrio and walking into the Pokemon Centre. After recieving her Pokeballs back after handing them to Nurse Hoy, she held one, then threw it. "Go Noctowl!" The bird appeared. Pocketing her other Pokemon, she hopped on its back. "Use Fly! Onto the most importnat place, Evraflow City!" Noctowl flapped its wings, and they set off into the sky.

-----hlaf an hour later----

Ashmin landed, and returned Noctowl. She stared around at the site of the Evraflow Conference. "Only one more day....I got here just in time." Rushing to a computer, she registered herself in the league. "I made it." With a sigh, she looked around, noticing trainers from all over around, looking strong and tough. "Ughh, for some reason, I think I'm doomed...."

FINALLY, THE OPENING CEREMONY OF THE EVRAFLOW CONFERENCE

"Welcome, everyone!" Mr. Charles Goodshow, the president of the Pokemon League Conferences exclaimed as all the trainers entered the stadium. "Welcome to the 12th Annual Pokemon League Evraflow Conference! I wish to acknowledge and congratulate each and every one of you for making it here today. You are all elite, and it brings me great pleasure to host this event. Now, without further ado, we shall begin our Opening Ceremonies!" he called, as the lights in the stadium shown brightly in the center of the arena where all the trainers were standing.

LATE THAT NIGHT...

Caden arrived at Evraflow in his black cloak. "Thank you, Dragonite...Return" he called as Dragonite disappeared in a flash of red light. He noticed Atrus, but decided not to give away his cover, so he went straight to his hotel room.

THE NEXT DAY - EVRAFLOW CONFERENCE: PRELIMINARY ROUND 1

"We have an exciting day ahead of us today!" Mr. Goodshow's voice boomed out. "We will now be preparing for our 1st Round Preliminary matches! Trainers will each use 3 Pokemon each and battle until one trainer's Pokemon are completely knocked out" he continued. "Now, we have one match each going on in each of our four sub-stadiums. Then, the 2nd match pairings will begin as soon as the first are over. The final eight will battle it out in our Grand Stadium. Now, competitors, please report to your assigned stadiums!".

"In these matches, you shall be referred to your Entry Number, not your name, so be aware. NOW, WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, LET THE MATCHES BEGIN!!!" Mr. Goodshow shouted as the audience roared.

Caden, still in his cloak, trying to keep his cover, made his way to Stadium A, where he was to have his first match.

-AT STADIUM A-

"This match will be between Contestant No.8 and Contestant No.57!" The referee called.

Caden stepped on his side of the arena and sighed. "Well, here I am" he thought. His opponent, Chris, rudely shouted "You're going down, loser!" in a rather arrogant tone. Caden looked at him, and said "You don't know what I had to go through to get here" in a stern voice.

"Uh...now that the insults have stopped, LET THE MATCH BEGIN!" the referee said as he pointed to a large screen, showing a spinner. It started spinning, amd landed on the water symbol. "And there we have it! This match shall be fought on a water field!" he called as the arena opened up, revealing a giant pool with platforms on the surface.

"Dragonite, let's end this quickly" Caden said quietly, as he threw a Pokeball which revealed a giant, yellow dragon, which landed down on a platform.

"Gyarados, take the stadium!" Chris called, chucking his Pokeball into the water. A flash of light appeared underwater and a spiral-like shadow showed itself. Then, Gyarados' dragon-like head burst out of the water.

"The first match is between Dragonite and Gyarados. Begin!"

"Gyarados, hit that oversized teddy bear with Hydro Pump!" Chris called as Gyarados launched a twister of water at Dragonite.

"Dragonite, take that blow entirely and shoot a Thunderbolt directly through that Hydro Pump" Caden called without moving, the black cloak blowing in the wind. Dragonite charged against the Hydro Pump, enduring the damage as its antennae started to glow. Then, Dragonite shot a fast, yellow flash at the Hydro Pump, which made its way to Gyarados, as well as the rest of the pool. Electricity charged through the entire battlefield. Gyarados roared in pain, paralyzed.

"Gyarados, you can handle that! Just endure it a little while longer and shoot an Ice Beam at it!" Chris yelled in desperation.

"Dragonite! Spiral around that Ice Beam and ram into it with Dragon Rush!" Caden commanded. Dragonite spun around the Ice Beam, elegantly avoiding the attack, and charged at Gyarados' underside, successfully knocking it out of the water. It fell and slammed down on the platform. It had fainted.

"And Gyarados is unable to battle! The winner of this round is Dragonite!" The referee called.

"Gyarados, return. Well, you got lucky with that! However...." he took out a Pokeball and threw it high into the air. "Let's see how you deal with Tyranitar!" he called, as a giant, green lizard-like Pokemon emerged and landed on a platform. "Now, Tyranitar! Stone Edge!" Chris called as an axis formed around Tyranitar, forming into rocks which shot themselves at Dragonite.

"Dragonite, Dragon Rush those stones to stop them! Now, use Dragon Dance!" Caden called. Dragonite spun around and charged at the rocks. It sustained heavy damage, but eventually broke through the rocks. Then, it glowed red and blue. "Alright, now take this! Earthquake!" he called. Dragonite slammed a foot down on a platform, causing the water underneath to form a mini-tsunami, which fired at Tyranitar. Tyranitar was engulfed by the water, immobilized.

"Tyranitar! Use Protect!" Chris called. Tyranitar formed a glowing, green orb around it as the water slammed into it.

"Dragonite, get behind it now!" Caden called. "Now, as the Protect disappears, slam it with your best Aqua Tail!" Dragonite zoomed behind Tyranitar, and as its green barrier crippled, Dragonite slammed a glowing, blue tail at it, knocking it into the water. Tyranitar floated to the surface, unable to battle.

"Tyranitar is unable to battle! The winner of this round is Dragonite!" The referee declared again.

"Grr....Tyranitar, return!" Charles looked worried now. "You won't get through this last one" he grumbled, tossing his third Pokeball onto a platform. A light flashed, revealing a four-armed, humanoid creature. "Alright, Machamp! Ram it down with Ice Punch!" he called.

"Dragonite, dive into the water now!" Caden declared as Dragonite jetted into the pool. "Alright, now! At the bottom, strike with Twister!" There was a glint in the pool, which expanded and inflated, eventually turning the entire arena into a giant vortex.

"Machamp! Use Thunderpunch on the vortex!" Chris called. Machamp, as it was being sucked into the vortex, started flailing at the whirlpool with a yellow, glowing fist. The electric current hit both Pokemon.

Dragonite floated to the surface and slowly climbed out on the platform, paralyzed and almost immobilized. However, Machamp took a major impact in the vortex as well, so it also floated back to the surface. It tried to get up, but as it reached for the platform, it fell facedown into the water.

"And Machamp is unable to battle. The winner is Dragonite, and the winner of this match is Contestant No.8!" the referee shouted, as the crowd started roaring.

"Good job, Dragonite. You'll get a long rest soon" Caden said as Dragonite retracted into its Pokeball. "Well, that means Atrus is up" he thought, making his way out of the stadium.

Ashmin watched the fireworks dance at the openeing ceremony. "I still can't believe I made it." She muttered quietly, not wanting to spoil the festive mood. Yawning, she realised she was tired, having not slept in a while. "Probably should get some sleep." She said softly, nudging her way through the excited crowd to somewhere she could sleep.

----The Next day-----

Ashmin listned to this, and tried to remember which stadium she was. Remembering she was the first battle of Stadium B she nudged her way through the crowd again, hoping she wouldn't be late.

----At Stadium B--

Ashmin arrived, breathless. As she entered the stadium proper she heard people cheer loudly, and thought the heard someone say, "GO ASHMIN!" but she ignored it. Stepping foward, she noticed a girl standing at the other end, obviously her opponent. The referee stepped up. "This battle is between Contestant No.34 and Contestant No.46." Ashmin's opponent didn't look happy. "I'm gonna beat you!" She called teasingly across the stadium. "You never know." Replied Ashmin. The referre stepped foward again before the Ashley girl could reply. "LET THE MATCH BEGIN!" He called, gestruing to a large screen, in which a spinner was shown. It spun, then stopped. "Looks like a water field battle!" Exclaimed the referee, and the stadium opened, revealing a large pool of water. Small platfroms dotted the surface. Ashmin stepped onto one, then gestrued to Ashley. "You go first." Ashley smiled, and grabbed a Pokeball. "GO, Vileplume!" A small black Pokemon with an oversized flower on it's head appeared. Ashmin smiled. "Ok, C'mon out Typhlosion!" Ashmin commaned. The volcano Pokemon appeared, poised. "Vileplume, Solar Beam!" Commanded Ashley fiercly, and the Vileplume did so, sending a bright beam of light in Typhlosions direction. "Typhlosion, Flaming Boulder Combo!" Commanded Ashmin. Typhlosion sent large boulders into the Solar Beam, splitting it in half, then set the boulders alight. These flaming boulders collided with Vileplume, sending it flying itno the water far from the platform. It struggled for a moment, then stopped. "Vileplume is unable to battle, Typhlosion wins this round." Ashmin smiled. "Wipe that grin off your face!" Screamed Ashley. "You're not gonna win. Go, Spinda!" A small panda with swirly eyes and red dots all over it appeared. "Now Spinda, use Psybeam!" Growled Ashley. Spinda shot a beam of blackness at Typhlosion. "Ok Typhlosion, use Quick Attack!" Typhlosion darted foward, the black beam bouncing off it as it sped along. "Now, Flame Wheel!" Typhlosion shot a wheel of fire at Spinda, limmiting its area of movement and causing damage. Typhlosion then rammed into it, causing it to tetter backwards and fall off the platform with a splash, which Typhlosion quickly avoided. Spinda flailed and struggled, then fainted. Ashley grumpily returned it as the referee said, "Spinda is unable to battle, Typhlosion wins." Ashmin smiled again, and Ashley went crazy. "YOU ARE GOING DOWN!!!!" She snatched a Pokeball. "GO, BLAZIKEN!!!!!!!" She screamed, and the Pokemon appeared. Typhlosion looked at it warily, Blaziken doing the same. "Blaziken, Flare blitz!" Commanded Ashley. Blaziken rushed foward, surrounded by red and orange flames. "Typhlosion, you can handle it! Use Eruption!" Commanded Ashmin. Typhlosion did so, sending boiling lava everywhere. "Now, Quick Attack!" Typhlosion darted foward, slamming into Blaziken as it was hounded by boiling lava. Both Pokemon landed in the water. Typhlosion, at almost full health, didn't have much problems gettin out. It clambered to the platform, denched and very weakned. As Typhlosion had been closer to its platform, Blaziken had been further from its. It thrashed and struggled, and almost made it when it stopped. The referee stepped foward. "Blazekin is unable to battle, Typhlosion wins, and that means the winner of this round is Contestant NO.34!" The crowd erupted into loud cheers as the water field closed. Ashmin stepped out of the stadium, feeling happy, then decided to go watch some of the other battles.

Leonard walked into Stadium C, and same with his opponent, Nick.

"Don't be mad when you lose," said Nick cockily.

"You know, you should follow your own advice sometimes," replied Leonard.

On the wall, a spinner spun, landing on rock. "The battle between Contestant N. 12 and Contestant N. 3 will be on a rock battlefield!" declared the referee.

"Go, Jolteon!" said Nick as he threw a Poke-Ball. It opened, releasing Jolteon.

"Alright, go, Blaziken!" said Leonard.

"Use Thunderbolt!" commanded Nick. A beam of yellow lightning came from Jolteon's body, heading toward Blazkien.

Blaziken, dodge that!" said Leonard. Blaziken bent it's body completely. The Thunderbolt rushed past.

"Now, use Blaze Kick!" commanded Leonard. Blaziken's foot ignited as it charged toward Jolteon. It kicked it, severely burning it.

"Use Thunderbolt!" commanded Nick again, and another beam of electricity charged toward Blaziken.

"Jump!" commanded Leonard. "Then use Flamethrower!" Blaziken jumped, and the Thunderbolt was below him. It then shot a massive flame at Jolteon.

"Quick use Thunderbolt!" yelled Nick. More electricity came, colliding with Flamethrower. However, the Flamethrower was too strong and Jolteon was hit, and it fell unconscious.

"Jolteon is unable to battle! The winner of the round is Blaziken!" said the referee.

Nick returned his Jolteon. "Go, Vaporeon!" he yelled, sending out a deformed fish looking thing. "Use Hydro Pump!" A beam of water rushed toward Blaziken.

"Blaziken, jump and use Overheat!" A massive flame was sent Vaporeon's way, which severely injured it.

"Now, Ice Beam!" commanded Nick, but Blaziken was too elegant to get hit.

"Finish this, Sky Uppercut!" commanded Leonard. Blaziken's fist turned white, and it did an uppercut, knocking out Vaporeon.

"Go, Flareon!" yelled Nick frustrated as ever. A big cat of flames emerged onto the field.

"Blaziken, Double Kick!" Blaziken charged at Flareon and kicked it twice in the face.

"Flareon, use Blast Burn!" yelled Nick. Flareon sent flames shooting out of it's body toward Blaziken, who was hit and injured severely.

"Now, finish it while it's resting!" yelled Leonard. "Sky Uppercut!" Barely, Blaziken got up and did an uppercut on the Flareon, knocking it out. Nick angrily walked out of the stadium after returning his Pokemon.

The crowd cheered for Leonard while he wondered one thing. [i]I winder where Scott is?[/i] he asked himself.

[Dementuo]

Atrus walked out onto the battlefield of the stadium. He looked over at where his opponent would stand. He then heard the MC shout "And now for the second match of Stadium A! This will be a battle between Contestant 42. and Contestant 15!" Atrus saw a girl, about his age, on the other side. "So this is my opponent? Well, this will be interesting..." Atrus thought. "Alright, I'm gonna beat you here and move on towards the finals!" Atrus heard Gabriel say. "...She certainly seems a bit... Um... Energetic, I guess." Atrus thought. "Alright, enough talking, I have a league to win! Go, Magmortar!" Gabriel sent out the fire-encrusted beast. "Heh, this won't be as easy as you think!" Atrus said. Atrus pulled out a Pokéball of his own. "Go, Lapras!" Lapras appeared over by Atrus, gave the Magmortar a good look, then wadled over to the field. "Alright Magmortar, put it out with Heat Wave!" Magmortar sent out a strong blast of fire into the air, and the air suddenly got hot. "Lapras, cool it down with Surf!" Lapras created a mssive tital-wave, and rushed towards Magmortar, riding the top of the wave. It crashed into Magmortar, dealing heavy damage. Lapras then landed safely back into the now flooded field. Only a could of spots where the trainers stood and a larger space in the middle were still up, as they had been raised for such an occasion. "Magmortar, get back up and use Thunder Punch at the water!" Magmortar jumped put of the water, onto thecenter island, and fired off his electrified fist into the water. Lapras got shocked a little, but didn't take much damage. "Alright Lapras, get him while he can't move! Ice Beam!" Lapras sent off a massive stream of ice straight at Magmortar. "Get out of the way!" Magmortar tried to move away, but it couldn't get out in time, and took full force from it. It knocked back, fainted. "And so the first match concludes with Contestant 42. taking hold of victory! But, can he keep hold of it until the end, or will his opponent take it from his grasp? Don't stay tuned, find out right now as the second match continues!" The MC said. "Grr... Alright, go Blissey!" The Blissey appeared, and the crowd cheered. "Oh damn... I remember this from back in Kanto... Damn those guys..." Atrus thought. "Blissey, just keep using Egg Bomb and dogde Lapras' attacks! And when you get weak, use Soft-boiled!" Atrus was even more shocked. "That's the same thing I went through... Damn... Ok, Atrus, it's only one, not five. Just focus on getting past this one..." Atrus calmed himself down. "Alright Lapras, let's see if we can end this before it drags on! Use Sheer Cold!" Lapras raised its head, and it glowed blue. Lapras howled a bit, and ice began to form everywhere. Blissey tried to get away from the ice, and tripped over one of the pieces. It became frozen solid in an instant. Atrus was struck by surprise again. "Wow. Didn't expect that to work..." Atrus thought. Blissey broke free, and fainted. "Blissey is unable to battle! And what a battle! It may have been only seconds, but a 1-hit KO? We haven't seen one of those since our Tenth Conference!" Atrus now heard the crowd cheering for him. "Guess they really like that flashy stuff. Guess they'll be a little dissapointed by the next battle." Atrus thought. "Alright, you're good, I'll give you that, but that last one was just luck! Here comes my best! Go, Mismagius!" Atrus was yet again surprised. "Why does this remind me of a similar experience I had in Johto...? I have a Mismagius as well... Just who is this girl?!" Atrus thoght. "Alright, go Lapras! Use Ice Beam once more!" Lapras fired off an Ice Beam, which Mismagius avoided easily. "Lapras, Rain Dance!" Lapras glowed blue, and it began to rain. Now Mismagius was impossible to see.
