Pokemon Paramount Ventures! The New Cygrus Region! [IC/Accepting via OOC]

On that note...Electivire, retreat, and look forward to all victories ahead." It was at this moment Dante shook Caden's hand. As he began to walk away, he called back to the boy. "Kid, I would recommend you come find me sometime so I can show you some new combos."
As dante retreated into an especially dark and gloomy alley, he began to talk with Nathaniel. "So, what are you calling me about? This better not be something as frivolous as finding out a Draconius plan." It was at this moment Dante had noticed he was being eavesdropped upon. "You there, show yourself." It was at this moment a Seviper snaked its way into the alley. "Sssssseviper..."
"I have no time for this...Go, now." Dante glared at the Seviper, and it seemed from the Pokemon's expression it was as close to the move Glare a human could get. The Seviper slinked off, frightened.[/color]

[Dementuo]

"I've been pretty good myself. I'm actually about to go get my last Gym Badge. Anyways, two of my Pokémon evolved, and I got myself an Evee. Also..." Atrus pulled out the stone shard he wore around his neck. "I found thus a while back, when I was training on Grakus Isle. Have you ever seen anything like this?" Atrus asked Caden.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Glory continued to walk through Gloomy Shades. "Not a single grunt has approached me yet... Something isn't right here. I can't sense a trap, but there's still something off. It's almost as if they're waiting for me to make a move... Well, I hope they realize that I have no intention of fighting them..." Zura thought.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Trancella picked up a readout of Nathaniel. "Good, Regulus, you're here. I just wanted to know who Dr. Lobos really is, or if you even knew." Trancella handed him the readout. "He's a Nebulus Commander. If you honestly didn't know about this, then I suggest that you speak up now. My patience is very limited, as I'm sure you are well aware of..." Trancella was perfectly calm, but still rather annoyed. He never got angry a anyone unless he had a good reason for it. Right now was no different.

[Zextra]

"Well, if you mean this" Caden pulled out a similar-looking stone. "This appeared out to me while i was getting assaulted in Gloomy Shades by a Team Nebulus Commander" he explained. "And two of my Pokemon evolved as well" Caden told him. "And last of all" Caden took out his badge case and showed Atrus the badges. "Anyways, good luck in your last gym battle, and I look forward to seeing you at the league" Caden smiled as he pressed a button on his watch and Nathan's face appeared. "Nathan, I'll be visiting you shortly" he messaged. "Anyways, I have to go visit my brother soon" he said. "so I'll see you around" he started walking away, then stopped as his body started shaking. "Oh, no..." he thought. "The medicine from earlier is wearing off" he continued as his body started emitting the pain from the burns.

[Dementuo]

Atrus studied the shard for a moment, then sighed. "I guess it's possible that there could be more of these things..." As Caden walked away, Atrus noticed him shaking a little. He walked over to Caden. "Hey, are you alright? Did you get hit when you fought the Nebulus Commander?" Atrus asked. "Oh, you probably don't want to here these questions right now... Here, c'mon, you're in no position to move like that. You need to get some rest." Atrus said. He noticed a few small burn marks. "You got burned? Wait a second... I have just the thing for that." Atrus pulled out a small flask of water. "This is some water I got from Mount Aquamarine. It seems to have certain healing properties, so maybe it will help with those burns." Atrus handed Caden the flask. "Take it. You need it."

[Zextra]

"Thank you" he said as he accepted the water. "Don't worry about it, it's nothing" he shook it off. "Unfortunately, I'm in no position to rest, either" Caden explained, managing a smile. "Anyways, I need to get going. I'll relax on the ferry" he told Atrus. "Once again, good luck in your gym battle, and I'll meet you at the League, got it?" Caden grinned and walked away to the harbor, where he boarded the ferry to Grakus Isle.

A couple hours later, the ferry arrived and Caden walked off. He headed for the Pokemon Center there, and found Nathan there. "Hello. What have you been up to since I left?" he asked Nathan as he disposed of the bandages on his face.

[Dementuo]

"Hey bro. I haven't been doing much lately. How have you been? You look pretty banged up. Something happen?" Nathan asked. "Also, have you gotten all of your Gym Badges yet?" Nathan asked.

-MEANWHILE-

Atrus said goodbye to Caden, and headed over to the Gym. He challanger the Gym Leader, and fought him using a new set of tactics. Using Substiute with Lucario to boost the potency of his Aura Sphere, and using many other forms of potency-increasing techniques. Afterwards, Atrus won his final Gym Badge, and decided to go train with his new Evee. Since it was still light outside, Atrus decided to use a Sunstone that he had collected along the way. "Now then... So it should evolve into an Umbreon..." Atrus patiently awaited as Evee glowed white, and evolved into the Umbreon that Atrus had been expecting. "Now then... I finally caught up to Caden, and now it's time to go to the leagues... Better tell Caden." Atrus pulled put his Pokédex. "Dial Caden." His phone started ringing. "Hey Caden, I got my last Gym Badge. I'll be waiting at the Leagues in Evraflow. See you there." Atrus left his message, then made his way for Evraflow.

Kalin followed the little girl, and found himself by a dock. "Well, here you are!" The little girl said, turning to skip away. "Wait, I want to thank you for your kindness." Kalin pulled out an empty Pokeball. "Do you like Pokemon?" "Oh yes!" She replied. "Well then here, take this Pokeball so you can catch one." "Oh thank you mister!" The girl beamed and skipped away. Kalin smiled, then turned to the time table. "Hmmn, so the next ferry is due in 10 minutes. I guess I can wait that long.' Kalin muttered, sitting down. "C'mon out, Flareon and Slugma!" The two Pokemon appeared, freshned after their rest. Flareon darted forward towards Kalin, nudging his leg, making him laugh. "Ok, Ok Flareon, I'm getting up." He laughed, rising ot his feet. Instantly Slugma began running away from Flareon, who was playfully giving chase. Kalin instructed them, tell them to use moves to slow the other down. Half way through their game, the ferry arrived. "Return you two." Kalin called, the two Pokemon dissapearing as he did so. "Time to go to Immortafreeze."

"Ehhh, it's no big deal" Caden said sheepishly. Then, he pulled out his badge case and showed it to Nathan. "Yeah, I won all of them" he smiled. He then received a message from Atrus. He smiled again, seeing that he won his badge. "Well, that's good" he thought. "I'll see him there". He turned back to Nathan. "Nathan, I need to warn you about a group of people known as Team Nebulus. One of their commanders battled me the other day, but he aimed his attack directly at me, rather then at my Pokemon" he explained. "In fact, if this strange teenager hadn't appeared, I probably wouldn't be alive now" he muttered to Nathan. "Anyways, will you train with me now?" Caden grinned at him. "Please?" he begged.

"Again,Thunder Bolt! Then use Canon all around grovyle!"Wilas yelled to his Flaafy. Tons of little yellow balls hit the leaves, but still,the leaves kept on coming. Again, the leaves hit Flaafy,sending him flying again. but as he flew backwards, he fired of his cannons, hitting Grovyle square in the back. "Sadly," Wilas Thought to himself "the substitute will take the hit, but cannon's power will begin to increase. Right now, it should be at about 80 power."

[Dementuo]

(OOC: ultima maser... You just God-modded. Even though there was the substitute, you didn't even give me a chance to respond to your attack. Never do that again.)

"Grovyle, Razor Leaf, then follow it up with Lear Blade again!" Grovyle started to launch countless leaves at Flaffly, then once again rushed at Flaffy with the glowing green leaves.

-MEANWHILE-

Atrus had arrived at Evraflow. "Wow... So this is Evraflow... It's amazing." Atrus thought. "Well, it'll be a while before any trainer gets here, so I might as well start training." Atrus thought. So, he began training his Pokémon.

-MEANWHILE-

"Sure. I'm lookin forward to see how much you've improved." Nathan said. "How about a 3 on 3 battle this time, instead of a 2 on 2 double battle?" Nathan suggested.

-MEANWHILE-

Zura Glory continued to walk through Gloomy Shades. "What could be keeping them so long... If they're here, then they would undoubtedly want to keepme away. There's definitely something going on behind these shades, but what is it that they're hiding here, and more importantly, why haven't they stopped my approach...? What could be happening here...?" Zura thought. Zura continued to notice a grunt here and there as he continued to approach the other side of the shades, still questioning why the grunts hadn't tried to stop him.

[Sakurazaki Daisuke]

After taking back his Pokemons from the Nurse Joy in the Poke Center, Sono decided to nickname the newly caught Pokemons, "Ok, evryone out of the Pokeballs!" he said while throwing the Pokeballs, "Ok, this Hoppip was the second Pokemon I caught so I think your name should be Ako-Chan, right?" he suggered to the Cottonweed Pokemon, then the Hoppip started to spin like it was very happy with the name, "Ok, she liked it and you two how about Hikaru-Kun to you and Kaoru-Chan to you?" he asked to the couple of Weed Pokemons, both Oddishs started to nod."Ok, now let's go to Gradnis Gym and battle with the Gym Leader, right?", all pokemons looked happy and looked decisive to win the battle while returning to their Pokeballs expect for Vulpix that always travelled on its Trainer's head, after 30 minutes walking he reached Gradnis Village, "[i]Now let's search the Gym[/i]" he thought while picking his Pokedex from his backpack, "[i]Ok, map option and...[/i]" after he thought he looked up and saw the Gym in front of him, "[i]I'm sure a carefree trainer, this isn't good[/i]" he thought ashamed with facepalming himself, he walked closer to the Gym and saw a battle was happening inside it, he was interested to see how the Leader used to battle and watched it carefully.

[Mr Dr Professor Spaz]

When Daniel decided to walk out of the cave, he headed through the town and into the forest. As soon as he walked into the forest, someone ran up to him and said, "Umm, do you mind taking care of this Porygon for me? I do not expect it back. It seems to obey anyone but me." Daniel accepted, he had always wanted a Porygon, and he was finally about to get his own. He walked a little farther and saw a Duskull messing with a Chimchar, and the Chimchar was trying to run away. The Chimchar noticed Daniel and ran up to him. Daniel asked Chimchar if it wanted to come with him. Chimchar had a very odd way of saying yes, it used its head to knock a poke ball out of Daniel's pocket which landed on its head and began wiggling for a short time before catching the Pokemon. "Well, that never happened to me in Isshu," he thought, " a person giving me a Pokemon, the next one catching itself. This place is definitely different." Then he walked into Gradnis Village.

[color="#708090"]Dante arrived at Gloomy Shades, the place where the signature from the communication device seemed to be located. "Altaria, retreat." Altaria's body glowed in a harsh red light before being swallowed by the Heal Ball. "Now, Absol, emerge."
Absol burst forth from his Great Ball, surrounded in a bluish-white light. After the light dissipated, the two stepped past the hordes of grunts and saw a man with deep red hair and a dark green jacket. "You, what is your business here? Wait...You...You're a member of the Elite Four, yes? Zura Glory...Listen, I highly suggest you leave before something happens to you. So, if you'd kindly step out of the way, I'd like to join a...friend...so we can further our goals."
Dante gave a simple, nearly unnoticable signal to Absol, who readied a Psycho Cut, his blade glowing a faint pink. Absol began to crouch and position himself in a prime striking position. He was itching for a fight.[/color]

[Zextra]

"You're on!" Caden exclaimed as he followed Nathan to a battlefield. "Well, shall we start?" Caden asked, readying a Pokeball. "Let's go, Electivire!" he called, throwing it. "Now if I planned correctly, I know what he's going to counter with" Caden smiled, looking at Electivire, who slyly nodded back. "Alright, bro. Let's see what you got" he called to Nathan. "This time my Pokemon have much more stamina and speed then they did last time" Caden thought. "And now, I'll show him my 'ultimate techniques'. Electivire, get ready!" he continued as he looked at Nathan.

[Dementuo]

Zura looked at Dante. "Yes, my name is Zura Glory. I am a member of the Elite Four. However, no, I will not step aside, or at least not just yet. I know that you are with Team Nebulus. I have a file on all the commanders of Team Nebulus. So now, I will ask you this: I only wish to say what I have come to say, and I will speak only to Nathaniel. After that, I will leave you in peace. You will not have to deal with me until later." Zura looked at the Absol. "And I won't attempt to resist, so you may call your Absol off." Zura said.

-MEANWHILE-

Nathan pulled out a Pokéball. "So, Electivire, huh? Interesting..." Nathan thought. "Go, Umbreon!" Nathan called, as Umbreon appeared. "Alright Umbreon, first start off with Shadow Ball, then follow up with Agility and Shadow Claw!" Umbreon shot out a blob of darkness, sped up, leapt behind it, and readied the Shadow Claw.

[Zextra]

"Electivire, take that shot head on!" Electivire just stood there as the Shadow Ball came slamming against it. Electivire was pushed back trying to block the attack, but regained its composure. "Alright, Electivire, use Sonic Shock Cross!" Electivire started ramming with Quick Attack, revealing an unmeasurable speed as its arms started glowing from Cross Chop. Then, its entire body was covered in an electric aura from Shock Wave. "Now, Electivire, using that sure-hit power of Shock Wave, slam into Umbreon!" Electivire almost seemed like it was disappearing when it appeared behind Umbreon, slamming its fist down.

[color="#708090"]Dante looed Zura dead in the eyes. This action never ceased to send a chill down anyone's spine. Not even Maximillion, back when he was around. "Well, if you're looking for him, I've got a feeling he's in that cave down there. And that's where i'm headed as well, so you might as well come with me. Absol, retreat." Absol was surrounded in the glaring red light of the ball's retrieval beam as she was pulled back inside.
"And if I were you...I'd be worried about trying to go up against Nathaniel by yourself. I'd want someone like me. But then again, I'm not you, and I don't worry about anything, so you can interpret this message however you want. Either way, what I'm trying to say is...I'm not on Nathaniel's side."

[/color][color="#48d1cc"]Virgil played around with what Delibird had given him after the Mount Aquamarine ordeal. It was a shard or fragment of some sort, but of what was indecipherable. The fragment was lke a prism; It was clear, but when held up to the light it glowed in numerous colors. However, the rest of it was rather peculiar...It wasn't smooth, but it wasn't rough. It wasn't sharp, but it wasn't blunt. It felt weightless, but it reacted to his motions as if it were a Moon Stone. This was a truly indescribable object, and he didn't know much about it. But one thing Virgil did know, however, was this item was very, VERY important.[/color]

[Serenity the Candyman]

Nathaniel couldnt beleive his ears. The Device had picked up the conversation outside and Nathaniel was furious. Making a few commands to his device, The Device sent out orders to his Lead Grunts to assemble all Grunts and Have half attack the the 2 idiots while the other half erase any data that was on the site. Looking back at 12 Scientists and 30 or so Grunts with him, sitting up the base here in Giratina's Realm. "They cannot come in!Destroy the cave! Now!"

Meanwhile....

"I am sorry boss. I knew Dr. Lobos years ago and did not know a commander was impersonating him." Regulus hung his head. Dr. Lobos was a friend.

"Ok, use Defense Tackle to charge through the leafs and hit Grovyle!" Wilas said to Flaafy. Again, a ball formed around Flaafy,not as big this time, and Flaafy charged through the leaves. Some went through his Defense Tackle, and some bounced to the ground. he started charging grovyle. "Wow, Flaafy has improved alot since we last trained. He could probably use a new move. I'll teach him one after this gym battle." Wilas said to himself.

[Serenity the Candyman]

Caullen agreed with Ashmin." Your right, 2 heads are better then one. Besides, We can support one another when we each battle the gym leader." Knowing that this Gym has been busy must mean there are alot of trainers going in and out, He said" We better hurry and reserve our spot before We have to wait another or so."

Meanwhile...

Making sure the cave was destroyed, Nathaniel sent a Grunt on the other side of the vortex. Using the device as two way communitcation device, he instructed the Grunt to blow it up. Immediatly the room of the vortex collasped hiding the contents within. " NOW onto my next project, finding Giratina." Taking the Device, he punch a couple of commands.

In Dr. Lobos's mansion....

In the basement, Next to the Orbs, a Vortexed opened in the frame, the size of a door. Nathaniel walked out of the Vortex, looking around to make sure nothing was touched. Taking the Three Orbs and placing them in a Carry case, he also took a couple of maps that had words and a picture of a feather on it. Walking back through the Vortex, Nathaniel laughed as his plans were coming along perfectly, piece by piece.

Back in Giratina's Realm....

Nathaniel walked back through the vortex, and looked at the start of the building of Team Nebulus's New Base. Now that he was seculded from Dante and Maximillion, He was free to create his own base in his own image. Then thinking about it, he thought, it might be better to change the name even.....No, we cant do that. My Team Nebulus will be better and Maximillion will be triggered as the culprit something goes destroyed..... I can't lose.

Blake spelled the salty air as his destination came into sight. "so... this is the Cygrus region... WOW!" Jake the took out a miniature red and white ball and immediately threw it letting out red energy and morphing itself to be his partner pokemon... Explo the cydaquil! Explo knew at that moment: Flare Blitz, Ember, Leer and Smokescreen. Explo still was pretty fresh so he accidentaly burnt Blake's Left Leg upon release. "AHHHH BLOODY HELL THAT HURTS!" although being the happy person he normally is Blake forgave and forgot. Once the boat docked eager as can be Blake Jumped of the boat and landed squre on the concrete (feet first I migh add) "Alright Lets Get this show on the road! Come on Explo!" "Cynda!" Blake found himself in a predicament though for...[b]HE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE HE WAS![/b] Blake tried to ask someone however in this strange town everyone was apparently rude... He then decided to go the the pokemon center. Blake the asked nurse joy..."Excuse me nurse Joy where am I?" "oh? you should know this is the place where all trainers strive to go...EvraFlow City!" "HOLY CRAP! you mean to tell me I can to the wrong place???!!!" "you mean you didn't set out to come here?" "well I will come here but right now I'm pretty much a noob and will get pwned by the first trainer I see!!!" "hmm you have a point ok how about I give you a bus ticket to Gradnis village! home of the first gym leader of the Cygrus region!" "That'd be swell. but wait you're gonna buy me a bus tick..." "NO TIME TO WASTE GO NAO!!!" the next thing Blake knew he was sitting outside the pokemon center flat on his bum. Blake tried to go back in to ask Joy where the bus station was but she was gone... "oh well I'll just wander around like every anime I've watched I'm bound to find it. 30 minutes later... "Howed I get in this cave???" Blake said as he was wandering about in the dark. "hmmm" BA BA BAGON! "huh?" BAGON! "omg! It's a bagon! hmm prof. Hastings taught me how to catch a pokemon... Alright Bagon you'll be the first pokemon I Catch in the Cygrus region! Go nao Explo use smokescreen! "DA QUIL!!!" the cave was then clouded in an inky smog. BA? BA? BA BAGON! alright! Explo use Leer up in Bagon's Face! "QUILL!!!" BAGON! the bagon the lost it's balance and fell over leaving it wide open... OK! finish it Explo with Flare Blitz! KABOOM! "DA...DA...DA..." ok Explo you need a good rest return! now for the finish Bagon! The bagon right now had the trademark swirly eyes of a defeated pokemon. "Go! pokeball!!!" three shakes of the ball and it was over! "Alright I got *victory music a Bagon!!! *pose ash does when he catches a pokemon. now let's see what moves you know... whoa! fire fang? dragon rush? Dragon Dance? LEER??? wait thats normal. Wow this Bagon is freaking Bred from God pokemon!!! hmm I'll call you...Czar...

Ashmin nodded, and turned to Diglett. "OK Diglett, use Dig to get through the maze! Make sure you leave a path for us to follow." The Diglett nodded slightly, and dissapeared into the ground, leaving a small mound of earth trail. Ashmin slowly began to follow the Diglett.

Meanwhile....

Kalin slumped on one of the chairs on the ferry. He was exhausted after what he'd been through the past couple of days. As he slumped down further, he felt a chil go down his spine, and noticed slight, misty snow falling. "Damn." He reached into his bag and pulled out some jackets and a scarf, and put them on. "Damn, if I'm this desperate for warmth now, I'll be an icecube in Immortafreeze!"

Blake the reached his destination (as with all animes) "Ha Finally got here! ...The freaking Bus station!" "Heeyy!" "Huh? oh nurse Joy what are you doing here?" "actually It's bus driver Joy to you!" "o. ok?" "well lets get a move on we don't have all day!" said "bus driver Joy." 5 minutes later Blake was on the bus prepared to wait 2 freaking hours!!! "GO! Explo,Czar!" "BA! BA!" "DA! QUIL!" "alright gang apparently we're going to Gradnis village home to the first gym leader of the Cygrus pokemon league: Shibi Torarian. Now apparently He is a grass-type trainer which is promising because you two both know fire type moves." "BA!" "QUIL!" "Now here's our strategy...blah blah." 2 hours later Blake was there! At Gradnis village. [b]"You better be ready Shibi Torarian, Because I'm challenging you!"[/b]

"Flaafy, jump on the blades and push them to the ground, then use thunderbolt." Wilas said, calmly this time. Wilas figured that if he was going to be a Pokemon Master, he should make people think that he is always so hyper and worisome. If he stayed calm, he would probably be able to think faster, which would allow him to have an advantage. Wilas then started to go over other strategies to hit grovyle.

Tired of waiting for the so-called gym leader of Gradnis village Blake decides to Be prepared and went to the store to buy 3 potions and an X-Special Def at the local Pokemart.
