Kenpachi is a nearly invincible blood thirsty fighting machine, while Mario is a plumber. I know people will say "He can use Invincibility Stars, Fire Flowers etc." but Kenpachi would still beat him. Not just because he has an eyepatch (i liek eyepatches), but he doesn't need to be a fricken' plumber with a red hat . Plus, Mario's nose is too big.
