Hmmmmm PVP sounded fun. I'd volunteer on the matter but looks like got the other person. If need anyone else I am here.

Right then, the arena is the final Chuunin Exams Coliseum and the Jounin signals the two fighters to begin. Remember, it doesn't matter who wins or not, so long as I/we get the grasp of the idea of how PVP matches should be engaged and whatnot. magnet, I chose Kazuki because it was your highest level between the two characters. But if you want you can choose Seni over Kazuki. Anyways, items you currently have can be used or any techniques you own, too. I'll be the one who decides who gets hit without me posting. Hope I got everything cleared and is deemed understandable what I just said (English isn't my first language...).

We'll be using the battle format that's currently being used within the IC, with the exception of me not having to post. Any questions or ideas? If not then proceed as you would in the IC Thread and begin attacking (In here, that is. Not the IC Thread).

upon examining the Ic thread to start my first post, i noticed that a lot of people, in the first post, had certain tasks that they had to preform and i noticed once they did them they got experience, ect. ect. My question is should i halt my first post until i've seen one of those short paragraphs with my name attached to it? or should i just make a post up, being guided by what the other characters missions were?

@Magnet: We are TESTING the PVP possibilities here as they are not a feature in IC yet. Anything that happens here doesn't effect the IC thread; you could die in this fight and it wouldn't effect the IC. You follow the story in the IC and me and you are just going to fight here to see the possibilities of PVP in this RP.

Now, I'd like to starts this PVP match, if I may.

Raphael looked his opponents up and down and smirked, he started making a few hands signs and then slammed his fist into the ground. "Lightning Release: Four Pillar Bind!" Raphael said and four rock pillars then grew from the ground around his opponent and shot lightning bolts at him. Raphael then drew his blade slowly. "Lightning Release: White Light Blade..." Raphael said and then charged at his opponent and was ready to do a slash at him with his odd sword style still present.

Kazuki sighed and flipped backwards, dodging the pillars and landing with one palm on the floor, his feet leaning on the wall of the arena and his other hand making hand signs. "Fire Release, Immortal Phoenix Fire Technique." He cried, shooting 10 small balls of fire out of his mouth, using his hand to aim them. These came into contact with the lightning bolts fire at him. As Raphael cam through the smoke caused by this, Kazuki jumped higher, throwing a kunai into the wall to hand on to. He hooked his right foot around this and hung upside down, making more hand seals. "Fire Style, Roaring Flame Sphere!" He shouted, a giant ball of flame emerging from his mouth as he said Sphere. After the ball had emerged, and started towards Raphael, he started to perform more hand signs, preparing yet another technique.

Raphael saw the sphere coming his way and used his technique, White Light Blade, to fire off the energy that was surrounding the blade itself to collide with the fireball. However, when the two attacks collided the sphere spit out some flames that hit Raphael for a good bit of damage. [i]Wind will just fuel the flames, I don't have any other options. Raphael brought his sword to the right quickly so it made a swift sound in the air. "White Light Blade." He said and his blade became electrified again. "Lets go..." He said and then readied himself fer an attack.

A new jutsu also, if I may.

Wind Release: Concentrated Wind Bullets [Lvl 1]
Detail: The user inhales a deep breath while doing certain hand signs. The breath then becomes infused with chakra and can be fired out of the users mouth at rapid speeds with up to five bullets. The air can also be fired out all at once to create one big bullet; the bullets are about double the size of a persons head, making the large bullet able to be the size of a boulder.
Effect: Each bullet that hits does 15 damage. The large bullet does 75 damage if successful. The smaller bullets are extremely quick and the large bullet is only at a medium pace.
Cost: -45 Chakra, -30 Fatigue

Note: I won't be using it this battle as I didn't have it when we started.

These [b][[/b][i]Action![/i][b]][/b] sequences will appear occasionally throughout the RPG which serve as plot purposes. It will affect the story and your characters in many ways, such as where Kirimono didn't save the Hokage in time where he [i]could[/i] of by using up 1 AP/Action Point. Since Kirimono was unable to save the Hokage these events change the main RPG story. Its mostly explained under the "Information/Guide" section. Just thought I'd remind you guys.

And the PvP match seems to be going smoothly, so far. A couple of more posts and I'll decide if we should implement (Is that the word I'm looking for? [i]O_o[/i]) this battle format to the IC thread against pvp combats.

how exactly are we to determine our base status? I mean, I'm not entirely sure how much health or power I should have, especially sense I'm still at LV. 1. Can someone enlighten me please?

Anyway: Kazuki laughed and flipped himself off of the wall, flipping the kunai out of the wall and catching it between his teeth. "Catch." He mumbled from between his teeth, and flicked his head to the side and back, letting go of the Kunai. Luckily for Raphael, it missed and only scraped off a few of Raphael's hairs, leaving Raphael unharmed. "Lucky B*stard." Kazuki muttered, before finishing his hand seals. "But not lucky for long." He finished, before speaking up again. "Well, my friend, it's been fun. You have some interesting techniques up your sleeve, but it's over. This next technique is a bit out of your league." Kazuki smiled, as he held his right hand forward, palm down. "Meet my Blazing Fire Blade Technique." As Kazuki said these last words, a huge amount of chakra emerged from him and russled outwards, causing a small gale around him. After a few seconds, small orbs of chakra started to orbit his hand, getting closer to it by the second. These started to grow, and finally flew into his hand, covering his hand in a glow. Unaudible by everyone, and unseen even my the Hyuuga's, he uttered one word. "Shikra." His eye's glowed a piercing electric blue at the mention of these words, and the glow of the chakra was engulfed in flame. "So then, Raphael. You ready?" Kazuki asked, blurring from sight for a second before reappearing, more than halfway closer to Raphael than he was before. Soonhe was upon Raphael, his blazing hand slicing towards Raphael.

Name: Zaraii Tankaishi
Clan: Tankaishi
Description: The Tankaishi clan was not a founding clan of any village, and took refuge in the Village Hidden in the Mist. Although they lived in that village, their water release techniques were lacking...very much. So, in an attempt to prove themselves, they began to train and lean new jutsu. The founding member of the clan, Tsugara, left the village for a few moths in search of new jutsu. He soon came across the Fire Temple Monks. From the monks, he learned a special jutsu: Raigou Senjusatsu, or, Amida Buddha's Welcoming One Thousand Arms of Death. It was explained to Tsugara that the monks were practitioners of "Senzoku no Sai", the Sage Ability which granted them enlightenment. Tsugara refused to stop their, for he soon thanked the monks, and left to find other jutsu. He came back to the village with an arsenal of new techniques, and each jutsu was taught to generation after generation. However, the clan decided to remain in secrecy until they were truly needed.

Personality: Zaraii is a very quiet person. He talks very little, if not at all, to other people. He prefers to be alone a lot, though it doesn't bother him when he is around others. He has never been seen to get mad and when insulted, he does not respond. He secretly wants some friends, but nobody seems to want to befriend him, which he finds confusing.
[spoiler=History/Background:] When Zaraii was born, it was a rather sad day. An extremist that had beliefs that were common during the civil war in the Water Country mistook Zaraii's clan as a different clan, which allegedly killed that man's family. He had exploding tags all of his body, and, whether it had been bad luck or something more, many of the clan had been standing in a group. Although a few explosions would have only injured them, the man had explosives virtually everywhere on his body. When he exploded, it killed at least a quarter of the clan. Although not totally wiped out, the clan was definitely damaged that day. Since Zaraii was born that day, he was declared "the bad luck son". Although many people called him this, his father taught him all of the techniques of the clan, regardless of other clan member's feelings on the subject. He grew up in a relatively hostile environment, and was respected little by his clan. Due to this, he trained hard to try and become the greatest of his clan. He soon learned, although thought impossible, how to open three of the eight Hachimon gates by himself. Due to the extreme strain on his body, he only uses this technique to win a battle that could not be won any other way. Much like Rock Lee, he does weight training. He applies more weight on his hands, which is apparent by the weight gloves he wears. This way, when he takes the weights off of his hands, his punches will become much more powerful. He soon became a genin and traveled to the Hidden Leaf Village to participate in the Chunin exams, and this is where his true story begins.[/spoiler]

These aren't custom, but canon. I don't know if they are allowed to be used, but they will be the first two I list. Plus, they fit in with my bio.

Front Lotus [LV1]
Detail: Front Lotus requires the opening of the first of the Eight Chakra Gates, giving the user five times their normal strength. The user launches the opponent into the air and then uses Shadow of the Dancing Leaf. Once behind the opponent, the user restrains them and piledrives them into the ground headfirst while rotating at a ferocious speed. Because it uses one of the chakra gates, the user is left extremely fatigued, making this jutsu a "double-edged sword."
Effect: 50 damage dealt for one post, 30 damage dealt to user
Cost: -30 Chakra. -60 fatigue

Amida Buddha's Welcoming One Thousand Arms of Death [LV1]
Detail: The user/caster uses this ability to focus their energy through the spectral Amida Buddha. By remaining still and forming their meditative positions, they can cause the Buddha to grow numerous arms which can strike out against their target. Once the skill is a higher level, the user could cause the Amida to change form and strike with greater impact.
Effect: 30 damage dealt for 2 posts, although it needs the user to remain standing still
Cost: -20 through 100 Chakra, depending on usuage time. -30 fatigue

Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique [LV 1]
Detail: A technique where chakra kneaded inside the body is converted into fire, and expelled from the mouth in a massive orb of roaring flame. The scope of the attack is altered by controlling the volume of chakra that is mustered. The released flames will engulf their target, and leave a crater on the ground's surface.
Effect: 15 Damage dealt to opponent for 2 posts.
Cost: -35 Chakra. -10 Fatigue

Fire Clone Technique [LV 1]
Detail: This technique creates a clone made of fire of the user. Since its made of flame, it can continue to reform and mold itself back to its original shape. When extinguished the remaining flames slightly burn the opponent.
Effect: Decreases 20% less damage taken from attacks by 25% chance. 10 Damage dealt to opponent.
Cost: -30 Chakra. -25 Fatigue.

Lightning Hound [LV 1]
Detail: By manipulating lightning chakra into the dominant hand, the user can make the lightning expand to create the form of a hound. The hound-shape remains connected to the user's hand with a bolt of lightning, allowing them to control it during its attack.
Effect: 10 Damage dealt to opponent. Opponent is unable to Dodge effectively for 1 post only.
Cost: -35 Chakra.

Just saying, but you've got one too many jutsu and can add one more Skill thing. And Ninja tools is not a skill, weaponry is what you're looking for.

Raphael didn't see Kazuki's travel path but managed to spot him just before he struck. He swiftly used his odd sword style, already enhanced by his White Light Blade, to block the technique. Raphael knew his sword wouldn't be enough to completely block the attack so he disengaged from Kazuki and put himself a good distance way from him. Raphael didn't take the full brunt of the attack but his right sleeve was completely burned off and his arm had some rather good burns on it. Raphael looked at his blade and then at his arm. [i]I see, that jutsu is fire based, and it's goal is obviously intended for a swift quick kill attack. I managed to block it this time around because of the lightning around my blade, and even my technique was canceled by his. These burns will bother me until I can get them treated...I can't take a full hit from that or I'll be a goner...[/i] Raphael made it seem like he was about to charge Kazuki but instead jumped back a few times into a forest area and went behind a tree. [i]Some distance...for now...[/i] He thought and then took three shuriken from his pouch with his left hand. [i]White Light Blade.[/i] He thought and then threw the electrically charged shurken from the cover of the forest area at Kazuki...

Kazuki smiled, easily dodging two of the Shuriken. However, even with his Shikra he didn't notice the third Shuriken in time, and it slashed a wide gash over his face. As he went to wipe the blood from his face, his arm also started to sting. He'd forgotten about the down side of the Fire Blade, but realised that if he had burns, his opponent probably did either. His eye's flashed once, before he charged at the trees in which Raphael was hiding, chopping down alot of them and starting a fire. Little did anyone know, the flash of his eyes signalled the use of a Genjutsu, and Raphael was caught in it. Kazuki grinned as he searched the trees, confident that even a Hyuuga would have trouble discerning reality from Illusion. He'd also made his Fire Blade quiet, almost silent, so it wouldn't be heard until it had burned through Raphael's back.
