[spoiler=Prologue][i][center]There have been legends, ones that speak of another world, one that believes in its own legends, which speak of the Legendary Dark Knight would rise again into a figure of darkness who would side with an inevitable force of evil and bring an end to the Human and Demon Worlds. But the legend also reveals that the Sons of Sparda would eventually prevent this disaster from ever happening and bring peace to the worlds. These new legends, are in fact true.[/center][/i][/spoiler][spoiler=Plot]Long ago, there was an epic struggle between Dante and his brother Vergil. As they sent a mighty blow from their blades, their Devil Trigger Forms were triggered, making the impact so great the Yamato and Rebellion were flung into the shadows, never to have been seen again since that very intense battle, which might've been a mistake in the first place. Many days later, a figure came across the 2 swords as they floated in front of him, the Rebellion having a red aura surrounding it, while the Yamato was in blue. Once he grasped both swords, the auras ceased, and the figure returned to an unknown castle, presumably his home, and temporarily added the two swords to his collection of weapons found by slain warriors. 2 months prior, the figure was, researching the books and legend novels of The Legendary Dark Knight Sparda. It shows him reading through countless books about Sparda, each shown differently as the other. Back to the present time, the figure looked at his collection of weapons. After many sleepless nights of researching, he found that the swords he now possessed were crafted by the legendary Sparda himself. Together with these swords, he could resurrect Sparda back from his grave as a slave to the wielder of these swords. The figure then made a slight chuckle which then grew into an evil laugh.[/spoiler][spoiler=Notes][list]
[*]This RP is set in an alternate universe of Devil May Cry, in which Dante has already obtained his Devil Trigger on his own.
[*]Vergil is now the secondary protagonist for this RP.
[*]The Figure's true identity will be revealed when the RP is halfway over.
[*]This is a remake of the original RP which was made last year.
[*]There are actually 4 main characters, 2 of which that used to be custom made, but are perfect for the alternate timeline.
[*]This RP is almost similar to Devil May Cry 3, but Vergil already has the Beowulf armor, there are 6 guardians in the tower instead of 7, and Dante already has the Force Edge from Devil May Cry 1.

He does mature as time goes by, but never really loses his attitude. Dante is seemingly unflappable, not showing fear whether he's being attacked by the Seven Hells or facing the Hell Vanguard. He can be serious when the situation calls for it, but he still maintains a fairly laid-back demeanor during such situations and is never without a witty taunt or comeback. Dante can seem at times to be uncaring or even callous, but actually has a very strong sense of justice and prefers to fight fairly. He can be counted on to do the right thing, even if he makes cynical quips about it the entire time. Dante values family and friends very highly. He cared deeply for his mother and, despite their differences, he also cared for Vergil.[/spoiler]Bio: Read Plot.[spoiler=Styles]With Dante, he has 4 Styles in total that he switches between when the situation calls for it.[spoiler=Swordmaster]The Swordmaster Style emphasizes mastery of different Devil Arms and maximization of their elemental power.[/spoiler][spoiler=Trickster]The Trickster Style emphasizes quick dodges and maneuvers.[/spoiler][spoiler=Doppelganger]The Doppelganger Style is a shadow-controlling style that allows Dante to create copies of himself to assist in battle, thus allowing him to experiment with different tactics and combos. The Doppelganger wields the gun and Devil Arm equipped to Dante when it was created, and performs those weapons' analogues to whichever actions Dante performs.[/spoiler][spoiler=Royalguard]The Royalguard Style emphasizes minimization and countering of enemy attacks.[/spoiler][/spoiler][spoiler=Weapons][spoiler=Devil Arm][b]Force Edge[/b]

Even though they are twin brothers, Vergil is calm, cool, and collected. Vergil is shown to have a fondness for reading books. He is quiet and prefers swords over guns, since he considers firearms unworthy of a "true warrior". His quietness is not due to a lack of self confidence however; it is because he never shows fear over anything.

Unlike Dante, Vergil is willing to embrace his demonic heritage, and seeks to emulate his father's power and cold persona. While Dante seeks to protect humanity from the demons, Vergil wants more demonic power, regardless of the consequences to those around him. Despite his normal personality of cold dismissal, he does cherish two things: the Devil-blade Yamato, a dark O-Katana left to him as a keepsake by his father and his own half of the Perfect Amulet, a keepsake from his mother.[/spoiler]Bio: Read Plot[spoiler=Styles][spoiler=Dark Slayer]The Dark Slayer Style is Vergil's personal style that uses the power of darkness to obtain new weapons and skills by leveling the style. Nevan: Yes, but for Dante.

Gilgamesh: Your choice to find or not.

Beowulf: Vergil already has this. In this universe, Beowulf was slain by Vergil, so he has it as his basic weapon.

Agni & Rudra: Read for Nevan.

Lucifer: Again, your choice to have or not, but only later in the RP.

Any other known Devil Arm from the series can be found as well, but I have to decide if the one who has this weapon at first can be the one you fight.

Now for firearms, you have to think about that yourself. But the main choices are Shotgun, Nightmare, and Artemis at the moment. Any other must be a real life gun that was never in the series.
