[B][U]Before Daybreak[/B][/U]

[B][I]Why did he play that card? The darkness within him is now growing beyond any comparison, but what can I do?[/B][/I] -Dragos thought to himself after Voren nearly disappeared into the misty darkness.- [B][I]More seems to be ridding on his shoulders to over-come that darkness inside of himself. I feel like I am not the only one who can free this warrior style duelist from the darkness. There has to be anther person. But who....[/B][/I]

-The duel spirit of Dragos - from Voren's [I]'The Dragon Warrior'[/I] card - slowly faded away in time after Voren disappeared in some kind of darkness. Dragos was always there for Voren in duels and out of duels. However, this time was much different then before. Voren had gone missing in a dark purple almost black misty cloud. Thirty minutes had gone by, fourty-five minutes, and now an hour. The full moon in the sky over the academy island seemed to brighten the area from which Voren was in. Small clouds that appeared to be storm clouds covered bits and peaces of the moon. In due time, a dark mysterious cloud, slowly formed over the area from which Voren stood within. The cloud lowered down as a person seemed to stand in it. A dark black mist circulated around the body as the individual seemed to stand there almost hunched over with an entirely new set of clothes on. His eyes slowly opened to a dark red to almost yellow and black color. The fog moving in swirls around his body and on his arms.-

-Upon right wrist was a darker version of a duel disk with a purple, red, and black color to it. While in his gloved right hand was none other then a duel deck that seemed to hold a dark mist around it as well. Looking up into the night sky; the figure's eyes seemed to of matched in unison with that of the full moon. Almost like that of a human transforming into a werewolf. The black mist slowed down to a mere circling around his right arm up to the shoulder while it seemed to circle around the deck. Lifting his hand up he looked at the deck with piercing eyes. The feeling of darkness was strong within it. Screams of pain and suffering struck him where it hurt most. Lowering his arm down the sound of trees moving nearby caught his attention. Not saying a word he held his deck up ready for anyone to come from that general area.-

[b]"Okay everyone calm down calm down!"[/b] Kakeru said putting on his duel disk, [b]"Now who want's to see my deck!?" [/b]Kakeru said with a smile as he held up his duel Disk. "[b]Well I want to have a volunteer raise their hand and that person shall duel me."[/b] Suddenly a storm of hands rose, of course Kyosuke kept his hand down, [i]"The last thing I need is more publicity..."[/i] Kyosuke thought to himself.

Spencer and stayed up all night, giving himself little time to tend to his own wounds. Upon his bed rested Frost Angel who was surprisingly healing quickly. Most of Frost Angel's wounds had closed, she haven't awaken once but even the hole in her chest closed. Spencer placed a new wet rag on her head, he sat down in a chair near the bed refusing to rest until she was ok. Spencer had bags over his eyes , but he did not wish to rest or take care of his wound until Frost Angel was ok. Spencer heard the school message broad cast around the dorm, but he decided not to go. According to Spencer the building could be burning down, and he still wouldn't leave her side.

" [b]You do so much for me and ask for nothing in return, I swear on my life that I will protect you [/b]"


On the other side of the island away from all of the fireworks and festivities, a beam of light cut the sky and two and crashed to the ground scorching the ground below. The light soon vanished, a crater was left where the beam fell from, the smoke cleared revealing a man kneeling on one knee. The man's identity was concealed by a black cloak and hood. The only part that could been seen from the man was a red and black duel disk which looked more like a blade then a duel disk. The stood to his feet and dusted himself off, he walked out of the crater and placed his hands near his eyes. It seemed as him he had some sort device which allowed him to scan the area.

" [b]Interesting[/b]" he said in a tired voice

The man bowed his head, he stood in place for a minute or two as if he was lost in a trance.

" [b]Well it seems there are a lot of people on this island with high spiritual powers. And it looks like she's arrived before me as well[/b]" The man sighs, and places his hands on his hips. "[b] What a bother, I just hope we don't bump heads to much this time[/b]" The man looks up and places his fist over his heart as if he was making a vow. " [b]Star Duel Academy the just sword is here, and I shall deliver your overdue justice[/b] " The cloaked man walks towards the area where the fireworks was coming from.

IC:[color="#8B0000"]Conrad looked at Kakeru and raised his hand. As he was tall for his age, his hand raised over most students. He could actually get to duel Mr. Kakeru with his deck! If he made a good impression, then he could have a good chance of getting into his company. If he beat him, then he would probably be given his job! He could actually make cards whenever! He pushed littler kids out of the way until he was in the front of Mr. Kakeru. "Mr. Kakeru, perhaps we could have a Triangle Duel?" asked Conrad to Kakeru. A Triangle Duel would be easier, because if another opponent weeakened Kakeru, then he could finish off both![/color]

Ike also raised his hand. Soon, however, a bunch of kids stormed at Kakeru. As he was so tiny and thin, nobody could see him exept Aiya and Famous. Looks like Kakeru couldnt be his opponent......

[i]How cute, they actually think they're superior to me,[/i] Abigale thought, resisting the urge to chuckle.
She dropped the cute act her her smile quicky shifted to a wicked grin as she stared as Xarien and Chaos, sizing them up mentally.
[b]"My business is none of your concern,"[/b] she replied harshly [b]"But I daresay you'll discover it in time anyway, if you're lucky."[/b]
She paused, sensing another dark presence enter the area.
[b]"Well, I guess there's going to be a party after all,"[/b] she said, turing away and walking in Voren's direction.

Wings:
Wings ducked beneath the students, thankful that their attention was on Kakeru rather than him ashe watched with interest.
[b]"Show off,"[/b] he muttered.
Kakeru then announced that he would be dispaying his deck in a duel, to which Wings' intereste piqued. A duel with the head of Industrial Illusions was surely a once in a lifetime experience and since things had calmed down on the spirtual front Wings figured he could allow himself a brief respite.
[b]"Don't you think that's a bit unfair?"[/b] He asked out loud as he stood up, causing the students near him to jump back in surprise [b]"I mean, you are the head of Industrial Illusions, you know this game and every card in it back to front so a mere student would pose little threat to you. So how about you make this more challenging for yourself."[/b] He raised his duel disk, walking closer to Conrad and Kakeru [b]"After all, the greater odds will surely work in favour of showing the strength of your deck, will they not?"[/b]

[b]"Ah! Conrad! Sure come on up!" Kakeru pointed to the landing dock which turned into a dueling arena! Then when wings appeared Kakeru turned to him, "Now that may be true but this isn't my normal deck, this is just an example of the Dreams and Nightmares set I'm advertising, plus it's not like anyone expects to win, although I won't hold loosing against me, I mean it's not like I'm gonna loose my job due to one loss!" Kakeru said laughing a bit, "But I accept your challenge, I've only done one other three way duel before, it's a tricky thing you know?" Kakeru then activate his duel disk, "Now then, who shall go first?" He said while getting on the field.[/b]

[Master of The Dark]

[color="#696969"]Meko was sitting on the ship deck stareing at the sky thinking. "When we get to the Island we'll need a place to call our dorm." Meko stood and walked to the leaders cabin. 'knock Knock.' "Sir I would like promision to astro project to the island and check the dueling ability of the students and find a place to build our dorm when we arivve.[/color] [color="#FF0000"]Dimitry begain around the island trying to find some one to talk to.[/color] Sorenitie went to the cafe to get breakfast and then she was thinking about heading to the card shop and see how she could work on her deck and find an opponent. [color="#FF8C00"]"That duel lastnight was a massive bomb shell of an unfair match. but i can't belivie i won like that.[/color]

Wings grinned as Kakeru accepted his challenge and he stepped up beside Conrad, giving him a friendly grin.
[b]"May the best duelists win then,"[/b] he said, looking back at Kakeru [b]"Don't mind if I do!"[/b]
He activated his duel disk and drew six cards from his deck, looking over them thoughtfully.
[b]"I summon Life-Saving Angel in attack position!"[/b] He said, playing his card on the field.

A fireball aimed at the Live-Saving Angel. "Now I set 2 cards facedown. Turn End" said Conrad.[/color]

"Each turn that goes by after she is played, I can place one forest counter(IK it says token, I haven't fixed the card yet so live with it.) on her and when she is attacked, the attack is negated and that monster looses 500 ATK." Kyosuke said with a smirk, the really only way to beat Nym without effect or spell/trap was to attack her three times in one turn if her max counter was full. After this turn she will have one counter on her. "Next I place two cards face down and end my turn."

-Placing his deck in the deck holder; Voren looked around.... his dark red almost yellowing piercing eyes gazzing around the entire area from which he stood within. With the sun rising above the sky; the darkness seemed to slowly disappear from all around the area that he stood within. For the entire time Voren had set not a word. His stance remained still and firm until a strong presence struck at him through his heart and mind. Closing his eyes for a moment he reached around grabbing a hold of his duel monsters deck and pulled it out. A dark black misty cloud circled around it. Looking up he lowered his hand down looking into the forest of where the darkness that Voren was feeling was actually coming from. It was strong and very powerful. Whoever, it was must held a good amount of power on their own.-

[I]Very strong indeed.[/I] -Voren thought to himself but did not even try to speak. He simply stood there with his duel disk on his arm and his deck in the other hand waiting for the other person to reveal themself.-

But if I'm right, Conrad is aiming to damage Kakeru as much as possible and hoping I'll take the brunt of the damage so that he can then finish me off. Guess it's time to play down to expectations.[/i]

"Okay then, its time to use Firestorms effect! Now who shall I destroy?" said Conrad. He looked at Dream Guardian Nym and Hyper Synchron. Hyper Synchron could make a very powerful beatdown Scyncro monster, and Nym could stop attacks. He weighed his options. He could direct attack the person he chose. He then decided. "Alright then, I chose to destroy...the monster Dream Guardian Nym!" said Conrad. He aimed a fireball and gained 500 ATK. "Now, go attack Hyper Syncron now!" said Conrad, and the 2500 ATK Firestorm shot a fireball at the Hyper Scynchron.[/color]

a hologram of the ice creature appeared with all of it's arms protecting it. "Now it's effect activates, instead of attacking, both of you loose 500 life points." Then two icicles shot out of Isa and hit both Conrad and Wings. "Now I draw again for a second turn and my Dream within a Dream is sent to the graveyard!" Kakeru smirked and summoned a monster. "I summon Dream Guardian Budbie in attack mode."

[color="#8B0000"]Conrad smirked as his Superhero - Firestorm, was destroyed by the Nightmare Spike Ball. He took 200 points of damage then (8000--->7800--->7300). Conrad, however, did have two facedowns. He may be able to stop Wings direct attack, if timed correctly. He looked around the crowd. People were watching him and his moves. His face must have looked funny, so people started to laugh.[/color]

Ike looked at Wings, Kakeru and Conrad. He wanted Wings to win because even though Famous was his friend and that was his father, he actually knew Wings personally and he didnt know Conrad. From the looks of things, Wings and Conrad are both defenseless, but why no Direct Attacks?

"Her effect lets me draw 1 card during your End Phases! And as I have two opponents, I can get 2 cards from her effect during your End Phases! Now I set two new cards facedown and end my turn!" said Conrad.[/color]

Meko said as he readied his deck duel disk and then spone his dream caster as his body went limp his soul jetted to the island but he over shot the shore and landed in the woods. As he walked through the woods he spotted the ruins of an old dorm. "That might make a great building for our dorm." He thought to himself, Once he got out of the woods he spotted a young man standing in the shade of the trees. "Hey you who are you waiting for?" He asked as he brushed off the dust that was on his cloack and pants.[/color] [color="#000080"]"Meko are you really going to do this?" A fellow dark star asoshation member asked back on the ship, as he had never seen anyone use a dream caster or astro project.[/color]

Now, I destroy my facedown Dark Hole, but unfortunatly for you, Ony Heavy Storm and Dark Hole have been destroyed!" said Conrad. He looked at the card in his hand. He couldnt have that destroyed! To bad that on his Draw Phase, he would have 4 cards in his hand. Conrad looked at Wings, barely holding on with his field, and Kakeru, who was dominating the field and hands. Looks like Kakeru may be harder then he expected. Maybe Wings would be good to. He decided to lay low for a bit, maybe Kakeru would go for Wings...[/color]

"Excellent." Kakeru said to himself, "Although I was hoping to get rid of your other three but oh well, dark hole is a load of my shoulders too." Kakeru then pointed his hand out, "Now, Nightmare Spike ball..." [i]"Which of Wings monster's are more of a threat to me? The one that allows Gemini to become effects is threatening, but what if he summons Dark lancer? I should then destroy Light lancer."[/i]"Attack Light Lancer!"

He looked down briefly at his deck before looking back up again.

[b]"So, is that you done or are you going to wipe out my last remaining defense as well as leave me wide open for a direct attack?"[/b] Wings asked coaxingly.
