Ander heard a yell. Without washing his hands, he flew out of his room, looking around. No one in the hall, but the layout was simply enough that he could check the next hall in a few bounds. Ander gave a quick sprint to the next section, looking around and finding [b]Spencer[/b].

"What the-...?" Ander jogged up to Spencer, "Hey! Hey what's going on?"

Ander moved so he was in front of Spencer, seeing as Spencer looked like he was about to fall on his face. Ander also wanted answers; this was the second ill-looking and/or crippled person he had seen from his dorm. He wasn't too shocked Voren left. He'd deal with that idiot later. If the common trend of students was to get themselves crippled beyond caring for themselves, Ander would have to bring that up with the Dean and Chancellor...

Turning his head and looking at the assinment Holly had in her hand, he gave off the look that said, [i]crap[/i]. He looks at her and asks with the most sadist look ever, "[color="#0000FF"]Do you think I could copy your paper[/color]?"
"[color="#9932CC"]You would of had time to do it if you weren't saying Holly-Holly over and over in your sleep last night[/color]." At that moment, Kaiser's eyes glew bright red and he directed the look at him. Feeling unsafe at the time, Dark Magician turned and said quicly to Joan, "[color="#9932CC"]By the way, I found more info that might be of interest to you[/color]." After that, he left back to his card.

Xerian watched as he felt the duel go into his favor when suddenly, everything went black.

Xerian heard a dark, gruff voice almost call out to him but, not from around him but, within him? He grumbled again at this.

[b]"Ooo, big dark and scraggly voice. You sound like you smoke too much with that raspy growling you're doing."[/b]

[color="#FF0000"]"Hehehehe......I must admit, I wasn't sure what kind of reaction I'd get from you. You are known to be highly....versatile....with your personality."[/color]

As he heard this, he wondered about it. It was true but it also wasn't something that was a secret either.

[color="#FF0000"]"Not impressing you? How about this. You'll never be anywhere as good as your parents at dueling or manipulation unless you tap into your darker side."[/color]

As Xerian listened, he pondered. It wasn't like the voice was wrong or anything, it's timing was unusually random. Or was it?

[b]"I take it that you're this 'Dark Side' then, eh? Yeah, let's talk face to face after I end this duel."[/b]

As he said this, Xerian returned to the real world, as he then pulled his duel disk back into the normal mode as the duel ended and he just walked away. Loud, demonic voices were interesting and all but it had irritating timing. He assumed it wasn't a random occurrence either.

[b]"Alright, whoever is the Wise Guy that's triggering this 'Big bad evil voice' thing, I'm standing right here so let's have a Chat. Don't worry, my big bad voice will be joining."[/b]

Xerian announced out into the open night, irritated at what was happening but wanting to know more.

Spencer was limping to his room, with Frost Angel tossed across his shoulder. Spencer was worn out from his training eariler, and if things wasent bad enough he felt drained after his encounter with the shadow beast. Spencer sight was becoming blury, but he saw his door and was so close to his room where he could tend to Frost Angel's wounds. Before Spencer could get to his dorm a student jumped in his way. The Student was talking, but Spencer did not listen to a word that the boy was saying, he was to focus on Frost Angel.

" [b]Get out of my way kid, I have to help her [/b]" forgetting that the boy might not be able to see his Duel Spirit he tryed to make his way around the boy, as he limped towards his room.

Angel's eyes opened wide, he never expected to see the Stardust Dragon card in his life, especially not in the ownership of his new friend, he instantly got worried, the facedown he had wouldn't be able to work in this situation...[i]What am I going to do? There is no way for me to win! None at all...Wait...[/i], an idea formed in Angel's head, he maybe able to pull this off, but he had to rely on Perry taking the bait..."Well, aren't you going to attack Perry? I only have one card on the field..."

Aiya walked the rest of the way to the dorm in silence and when it came for the three of them to go to their seperate rooms she said a quiet goodbye and made her way back to hers. Once inside she heaved a heavy sigh and sat down on her bed, taking out her deck. Sola appeared, sitting beside her.

[b]"I'm not sure I really want this,"[/b] Aiya replied, not looking at her [b]"I mean, having a duel spirit. It's..."[/b] She bit her lip, trying to think of an explanation that wouldn't potentially insult Sola.
[b][color=pink]"You'll get used to it!"[/b][/color] Sola grinned [b]"In fact, I'll bet you'll come to like us a lot very soon."[/b]
Aiya didn't reply and stowed her deck away before getting ready for bed.

Under the cover of night, a black boat made its way towards the island. Rather than stopping at the docks it weighed anchor beside a hidden outcrop of rocks on the otherside of her island. A girl with short, green hair, red eyes and wearing an Archfiend Crimson uniform hopped from it, looking back at a tall man dressed in black, his face hidden by a blank mask.
[b][i]"You remember your task, Abigae?"[/b][/i] The man said.
[b]"Of course,"[/b] the girl, Abigale, replied, sounding slightly insulted that he'd question her like that.
[b][i]"And the cards?"[/b][/i]
Abigale reached into her pocket, pulling out a set of cards from which a black mist seemed to rise.
[b][i]"Good, others will join you soon. In the meantime, ensure everything goes as planned."[/b][/i]
The boat pulled away, dissapearing into the night. Abigale heaved a sigh and turned around, clambering up the rocks and onto the island where she stopped and looked about.
[b]"It seems there's more than one dark precense here already,"[/b] she muttered [b]"All the easier then."[/b]
She relaxed, putting on a polite smile and wandered across the island, humming cheerfully.

Because I revealed it, I can set it into Face Down, Attack position and attack while Face down. Since it's Face Down, It isn't affected by the Negative effects of Shattered Reality. Now I reveal Roar of Fire to attack and activate it's effect. Until your End Phase, your unable to activate or set cards from your hand. Now Roar of Fire, attack his Dark End Dragon. Altered Flare!"[/b]

Xerian said as soon enough, the Face Down card had blue flames engulf the Dark End Dragon, shortly enough destroying it. Roar of Fire remained Face Down as Xerian grinned.

Arthur drew. "Firstly, I'll Flip Summon my Destiny Hero Fear Monger, and Normal Summon my Elemental Hero Stratos, activating its second effect to destroy your Field Spell Shattered Reality. If that's OK, then next I'll switch my Goyo Guardian into Attack Position and attack you with it. Go, Goyo Lariat!" Some kind of bs sfx that Arthur didn't care about appeared and rushed towards his opponent's Set Monster. [i]Random filler thought to make this post four lines.[/i] thought Arthur.

Kyosuke entered the elevator for the Stardust Platinum dorm and went to the top floor rooms. He, of course, had the biggest. He entered, got his pajamas on, which where a black button down shirt with Kyosuke stiched in the upper left corner in red and black pants. Kyosuke simply jumped into bed with his deck on his nightstand. "Night guys..." Kyosuke said to his cards as he fadded off to sleep, [b][i][color="#0000FF"]"Good night kyo!"[/color] [color="#00BFFF"]"Sweet Dreams!"[/color] [color="#4169E1"]"See you in the morning!"[/color] [color="#000080"]"Don't worry Kyo, we'll protect ya!"[/color][/i][/b]

[color="#FF0000"]Dimitry had just gotten to sleep when he heard a load bang from out side his room as he went to see what it was he saw a shadow fly down the hall and into a cordoor. "Come back here!" he shouted as he chased down the shadow. when he got to the cordoor he saw nothing. but he could hear a male laghing lightly as he walked back to his room to get back to sleep.[/color] Sorenitie could feel something was wrong but brushed it off as an odd chill in the air.
[color="#696969"]"He seems to be a fearless duelist ready to face anything that my come his way. Let's see if he can face the shadow realm?" Meko said to the rest of the group on the ship. "I'm going to see how well he duels in his dreams." He added as he ready his duel disk and his dream caster. He vanished in the blink of an eye.[/color]
[color="#FF0000"]Dimitry was sleeping dreaming of the shadow woundering what or who it was, when every thing went black and then a dark hooded figure walked out of the darknes laughings.[/color] [color="#696969"]"I am Meko masterson and I challenge you to a duel. unlike anyother you've ever been in!"[/color]

[i]Well I was about to attack, but since he wants me to then I have to worry what he's going to do. If it will destroy a monster then Stardust can negate it's effect at the cost of it's attack this turn, but if it doesn't then I could lose one of my monsters, or even my life points. Oh well, I have to attack if I want to win, and if these hit then it's over.[/i]
"If you insist then," Perry replied. "Queen of Thorns, aim for Angel's life points and attack directly." The thorns shot forwards towards the boy.

"Now then, I guess I'll be finishing things off then. Stardust Dragon, follow up that attack with Shooting Sonic!"

Deryn headed back to her room. Her head was still buzzing, trying to figure out what had happened over the day, so she once again put aside the abandoned rock deck for later - in fact, she was barely bothered to actually change for bed, as opposed to simply collapsing in her uniform. Despite her tumultuous mind, she rapidly fell into a sleep disturbed by dreams of her past.

OOC: VICTORY BY DEFAULT. NOW TO FIND THE PLOT.

Suddenly, it turned out that Arthur's previous action had all been a dream, and he woke up in his bed. "Well, that was strange." said Arthur loudly. "I guess that will teach me." With that, he got up, stripped nekkid and started to run around Duel Academy Island. [i]Wooooooooooooooooooh[/i] he thought. [i]Running around nekkid and having porphyria is awesome. Especially if it's IN A DREAM![/i] With that he woke up from where he had been playing a card game with some random, punched himself in the balls and walked off to find the plot.

As Xerian stood there, he soon saw a broken silhouette. It appeared to look just like him as it stood there, plain as day.

[b]"Ah, Big Voice now has a face to go with his mutterings. Where is your big bad leader?"[/b]

[color="#FF0000"]"Leader? Hehehehe. I am merely a part of you that was born into you. A very important part. Everyone possesses it but few, ever know it exists, let alone feed off it."[/color]

[b]"Riight.....You're the inner darkness that fuels my actions? I've been called an evil bastard before but...."[/b]

[color="#FF0000"]"There is no such thing as good or evil. Those are merely the demonizing of actions and objects that cause fear, confusion, destruction, pain, or death. It is labeled as evil if it isn't pleasant. But, make no mistake, it is a necessary part of all people. Those that learn to harness it, gain power over those around them. As he listened to this description of an old and very well documented duelist, Xerian smirked towards him.

Xerian was standing there, pondering this offer. He then felt it though, some sort of humming in his ears. The sound was easy to hear in a pitch silent forest but all the same, the sound was here.

Arthur Pemberton was walking along, and then he saw an "ebil" person.

"Hello "ebil" person, how are you." asked Arthur.
"I am fine, Arthur Pemberton how are you." said the "ebil" person.
"Oh no, how do you know my name and why are you here, and I am fine thank you." said Arthur.
"I know your name because I am "ebil" and I am here to be "ebil" and stuff." said the "ebil" person.
"Well that's fine, would you like some help." said Arthur.
"No, I am ok but thank you for asking." said the "ebil" person.

With that, the "ebil" person and Arthur parted and went their merry ways.

Ike said goodbye to Kyo and Aiya and walked into his dorm. Hayden wasnt there. Where was Hayden. Suddently, his deck exploded. Ojamas appeared everywhere. "No party for you!" said Ike. Ojamas looked sad. "Fine, go party in the card shop, nobody will see you." said Ike finnaly. The ojamas suddently glided off the door and floated away. Ojama Red and Mixti were still standing. [color="#9932CC"]"Man, a party!"[/color][color="#FF0000"]"Yes, nobody in there right minds would party with them" said Ojama Red.[/color] Apparently, Ojama Red hadnt reliazed that Mixti ran off to the party at the card shop. "Goodnight Ojama Red!" said Ike. [color="#FF0000"]"Goodnight Ike" said Ojama Red[/color] Ike then drifted off to sleep.

After a few minutes of cheerfuly walking, Abigale stopped whisling and let out an irritated sigh, her expression resembling one that would usually be used when someone had been forced to swallow something unpleasant.

She kicked the ground in annoyance, letting out another cry of anger. But then she paused, reaching into her pocket and pulling out the cards given to her by the man on the boat. A wicked grin spread across her face as she saw the mist coming off them had grown in intensity.

She turned about, walking along straight in Xerian's direction.

[color="#008080"]Matthew walked around the campus in his Stardust Platinum uniform. Swap Frog was behind him. He spotted a kid braging to his friends about how good his deck is, then walked up to him and challenged him. "Okay, w..why not..." said Matthew nervously. He drew his 6 cards. "First I summon my Dupe Frog in defense mode! Next I use Inferno Reckless Summon to summon 1 from my hand and another from my deck!" said Matthew. Three frogs with black hats appeared in Defense Mode. The kid placed a facedown and summoned Elemental Hero Clayman in defense mode. "I draw!" said Matthew. "I tribute two of my Dupe Frogs to Tribute Summon my Kuraz, the Light Monarch. Now, I destroy Clayman and your facedown, but you draw 2 cards!" said Matthew. His opponent drew two cards and Clayman and the facedown were drowned in light and vanished. "Now Kuraz, attack directly! (4000-->1600)" said Matthew. His opponent drew. He fuseed Avian and Burstinatrix to create Flame Wingman, then discarded a card to use Lightning Tribute to destroy his Light Monarch and Dupe Frog. "Now I add Swap Frog to my hand because of Dupe Frog!" said Matthew. Swap Frog smiled. Flame Wingman attacked directly (4000-->1900) His friends cheered for him. "Now I an summon my Gorz, the Emmisary of Darkness because you attacked while I had no cards! Now I summon a token that has 2100 ATK and DEF!" said Matthew. "Now I draw!" said Matthew. "Token, destroy Flame Wingman. Gorz, attack directly!" said Matthew, and he walked away, leaving his opponent speechless. Soon, he realized that it was really late and students may be caught for being up now. He ran into his room quickly and fell asleep.[/color]

As Xerian listened to this, the Silhouette soon materialized into something more definite. It was like a version of Xerian himself. Except this version was shaded to a gray and black mix, and it's hair was crimson red. Why was it always red? Xerian sighed as he then shook his head.

[b]"It's about time. I really don't prefer to wait on inferior beings. I normally wouldn't know the big deal but it seems that you.....what the hell should I call you?"[/b]

[b]"Okay, the Smartass will be your name then."[/b]

Xerian said in a grumble as the being chuckled loudly. Loud enough to be vividly heard by anyone with spiritual sensing abilities. A dark being this was indeed. It was himself. He now wondered what would happen next.

Abigale grinned in amusement as she heard the boy conversing with his darkness, assuming his own superiority to it. Quietly, she stowed the cards away and put on a warm smile as she approached Xarien with every indication that she had lost her way.
[b]"Oh, excuse me!"[/b] She called out in a cheerfuly, if slightly embarrased voice [b]"I'm afraid I lost track of time and now it's so dark I've no idea where I'm going. You wouldn't happen to know the way to the Archfiend dorms, would you?"[/b]

Wings sat bolt upright from where he was napping, his gaze casting around the shadows around him. His comical grin was gone and his eyes had traces of panic showing in them.
[b]"No,"[/b] he muttered, scrambling to his feet [b]"Not here, please not here!"[/b]

The next morning, all students are sound asleep and Monsters are just awakening. Suddenly an alarm goes off! "ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! REPORT TO THE LANDING DOCKS IN FIVE MINUTES WE HAVE A SURPRISE VISITOR!"

Kyosuke jumped at the announcements, "WHAT THE HELL!?" Kyosuke quickly got changed, grabbed his deck and duel disk, and went off towards the landing deck.

After all of the students arrived at the landing deck, fireworks began to come out of nowhere and techno music began to play. Suddenly a Industrial Illusions Private Jet flew over the island and something jumped out of it! Fireworks where still going off every which way and as the man fell out, tons and tons of Duel Monster Cards scattered all around the landing deck, and some parts of the island! Then as the man fell a parachute was pulled and it was in the shape of the Eye of Anubis. As the person got closer, it was... it was...

"DAD!?" Kyosuke yelled as he saw the figure come closer to the ground.

Kakeru then let go of the parachute bag a second before he hit the ground and blasts of confetti went everywhere and more Duel Monster cards came out of some confetti shooters, cards from Waboku to Summoned skull. Kakeru smiled and then introduced himself when the music and fireworks stopped, "Hey! I'm Kakeru Yamashita, and I am the Head of Industrial Illusions!" he said in a casual way winking to the crowd. His duel disk then began to fall from the sky, Kakeru lifted his arm up and caught it.

[b]"Wha...!?"[/b] Aiya awoke with a start as a loud alarm sounded, waking her up instantly.

[i]"ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! REPORT TO THE LANDING DOCKS IN FIVE MINUTES WE HAVE A SURPRISE VISITOR!"[/i]

[b]"Can't we ever have a quiet morning,"[/b] she moaned, hurridly getting out of bed and dressing hersef.

She hurried out into the corrdor a few minutes later, still buttoning up her uniform when she noticed several other students moving towards the exit, nearly all grumbling about being woken up. Aiya instinctively joined the crowd and, once outside, spotted Kyosuke and weaved between the other students to catch up to him as they moved towards the landing area.
[b]"W-what's happening?"[/b] She asked [b]"AH!?"[/b]
She jumped at the sounds of fireworks going off and looked up as she saw a jet plane fly overhead and someone jump out of it, desceding via parachute and sending cards scattering everywhere. Aiya caught one deftly and stared it it.
[b]"Ah, how cute,"[/b] she mused, briefly forgetting the man parachuting in till Kyosuke suddenly let out a surprise yell. Aiya looked from him to the man who'd just landed and back to Kyosuke [b]"Wait, you mean, that's you're father. The head of Industrial Illusions?"[/b]
Suddenly, a few silly duel spirits seemed like no big deal.

Elsewhere, Wings stood atop a vantage point on a pile of rocks overlooking the island when he noticed the jet approach, regognizingng the Industrial Illusions logo on the side.
[b]"What on earth is that about?"[/b] He muttered.
He jumped off from his perch, landing perfectly from a 50 ft drop, and proceeded to the landing sight in time to wath Kakeru make his entrance. Wings let out an impressed whistle.
[b]"And I thought I knew how to start a party,"[/b] he said.

[Time Psyduck]

[i]Deryn was in a field beside a lake. It wasn't far from her home, halfway between the house her parents had out here and the village. She was alone, apart from a young girl, the same age as the much younger Deryn, who she was playing with. The other girl had baby blue hair, and indeed looked very much like the Harpie Princess monster, if it were a human. Eventually the young Deryn decided she should go home. Her playmate tried to get her to stay longer, but eventually Deryn left. Happily, she skipped home, planning to tell her parents about her new friend, but when she walked through the front door she stopped dead. The hallway was covered in blood, and there, laying close together, several holes in their still bodies, lay her parents.

Dead.[/i]

Deryn woke with a start, sitting bolt upright, panting. [i]I remember,[/i] she thought to herself. [i]That girl who I went off with that day, who looked just like the Harpie Princess, if it wasn't for her I would have ended up like my parents.[/i]

At that moment the students were told to gather for a special visitor. Deryn didn't really care, but figured she should go in case it was important.

As far as she was concerned, it wasn't. It was only the head of Industrial Illusions, who clearly wanted a crowd to show off to. [i]Still,[/i] she thought, looking at the Harpie Princess card, [i]maybe if I can talk to him I can find out where they got the design for this card from.[/i]

Kakeru then looked out to the crowd and pointed out Kyosuke, [b]"Son? Hey is that you!?"[/b] Suddenly all of the students blocking kyosuke moved out of the way and made a path to Kyo.

Kakeru ran over to Kyosuke and gave him a big hug, [b]"KYO I MISSED YOU!!!!!"[/b]

"Dad! Get off!"

[b]"Oh right! Sorry!"[/b] Kakeru let go and Kyo fell to the ground, he then looked at Aiya, [b]"So who's this? Your girlfriend?"[/b] Kyosuke then got up and pushed his dad down.

Ike got up grudgingly to find all the Ojamas peering at hm. He gave them his look that ment that they better get back into his deck, but then an alarm went off. 5 minutes later, he was at the landing docks and saw Famous"s father jumping out. Ike almost fainted. He was head of the Industrial Illusions! He ran up to Famous. "Hey Famous, so thats your father!" said Ike. He wasnt even knowing that his father seemed to be embarrrasing, but just plain awesome.

[color="#8B0000"]Conrad was at the landing docks and saw Kyosukes father. He whispered to one of his friends. "I think I can beat him in a duel!" said Conrad to one of his friends. He walked to the front of the crowd, but it was hard as a bunch f screaming fans were shouting and inching closer. Soon he managed to get there and worked up the courage to ask. Then he walked away to Aiya.[/color]

Ike ran up to Mr. Kakuru. "Im one of his main firends! Im Ike. Ike Flarigan, pleased to meet you. I love your work, your so awesome!" said Ike really fast. He bowed deeply all jitterly. [color="#FF0000"]"Great, hes Embarrasing himself again." thought Ojama Red.[/color]

Aiya looked slightly taken abak as Kakeru marched right up to Kyosuke and hugged him.
[i]H-he really wasn't kidding,[/i] Aiya thought.
Kakeru's attention then turned to her and she turned bright pink (almost exactly the same colour as her hair) when he asked if she was Kyosuke's girlfriend. Luckily, Kysouke resolved that matter before Aiya could garble out an illegible reply, however his father didn't seem convinced. Even more surprising, Kakeru actually adressed her and extended his arm in offer for her to shake it.
[b]"Errrrr..."[/b] she hesitated in response to his question, remembering what had happened the previous day but seriously doubting that Kakeru would even believe her and so she shook her head, shaking his hand nervously [b]"P-p-p-pleased to meet you."[/b] she said in a slightly higher pitch than she'd intended.
Luckily the tension was immediately broken by Ike running in at the last minute and from that the crowd seemed to wake up once more, yelling and cheering.
[b]"I-interesting you said?"[/b] Aiya gave Kyo a perplexed look.

Wings, meanwhile, had made his way to the back of the crowd and was crouching behind a group of girls, all squeeling at the top of their voices.
[b]"I see london, I see france, I see someone's underpants,"[/b] he chuckled, crawling underneath them and being surprisingly stealthy despite beind in a crowd full of people (albiet their attention was focused on Kakeru).

[/b]Kakeru took a remote out of his pocket and suddenly a screen popped out of the ground of the landing deck, [b]"The "Necromancer Rising" and the "Dreams and Nightmares" Sets!"[/b] The image of both set packs where projected on a screen. [b]"And here are some new cards you can be expecting from our Ninja set!"[/b] A bunch of new ninja cards appeared on the screen. [b]"This screen will be projecting new cards all day today and also, ALL CLASSES ARE CANCELED FOR THE DAY!"[/b]

Kakeru rolled his eyes at Aiya and whispered, "Shut uuuup."
