He walked right into it. Guess he must not have a way around it. Regardless of how he acts, he's not actually stupid. "You weren't listening, were you?" Deryn asked, having long since gone back to her usual accent, which was a lot less distinctive, although a hint of Welsh still remained. "I told you, if you don't pay attention you're going to get yourself into trouble. Go, face down. Mirror Force!" Now your attack is stopped and all of your monsters are destroyed." As Goyo Guardian launched it's attack, a barrier emerged around the crouching woman, which then spread outwards and smashed both Goyo Guardian and the rock creature behind it. "It's still your turn, so go on."
ooc: -1 makes me sad. :(

"I'll activate the Quick-Play Spell Card Book of Moon, using it to save my Fortress Golem." said Arthur, who was annoyed that his opponent had sacked Mirror Force. I'm annoyed that my opponent sacked Mirror Force, thought Arthur. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. That's what I'm thinking because I'm angry, and angry people go grrrrrrrrr. After that amusing thought, Arthur stared at the lone floating card occupying his field. Maybe the best way to win isn't just throwing down high powered monsters, he thought sadly. Maybe it's about throwing down lots of high powered monsters with added destruction effects for free. Well, I guess I'm building TeleDAD. "Go ahead." said Arthur to the random girl.

What kind of deck? Ander had to think about that for a moment. What exactly was it? It didn't follow any real theme...

"A warrior Deck, I suppose." Ander shrugged. "What about you? Most people where I came from used spell casters. Are you the same?"

Ander noted something odd about Voren's jacket. It endded at the waist. Ander's was too heavy for that. How did he know? He's had this happen before...at every school he's ever been at. The jacket he had was too heavy because it was a size or two too big. As always...How nostalgic... He thought.

Spencer satdown at a table in the cafeteria, Spencer set down a tray with a large variety of colors on it. The trey held bright yelllow corn, lush green broccoli, and golden brown chicken strips. The dishheld only the freshest ingredients, it was enough to make anyone's mouth water.

" I must admit this school has a five star cafeteria" Spencer uses a knife and fork to cuthis food before eating it.

" And i bet they have fine classes also, so why dont you try going to them spencer" The angel layed down on the table looking up to the glass ceiling, she watched as the puffy clouds passed in the sky. " Spencer why are you sitting by yourself, look over there" Frost Angel pointed with her foot in the direction of five students who was laughing and eating at a table. " Look they are all in Ra Gold so why dont you go put on your Ra jacket and talk to them."

" Why what would be the point i... ah never mind its not worth my breath" Spencer reached into his book bag, pulling out a hardcover book.

Frost Angel looked as spencer began to read his book. " You should really go talk to them Spencer"

A student in a relinquish navy coat approached Spencer " Hello i havent seen you here before, what dorm are you in?" Spencer did not even look at the student as he read his book. " Hello did you hear me? Helloooooo" Spencer continued to ingnore the student. " I am sorry did i offend you in smoe way? is that why you wont speak to me? "

Spencer folded the page in his book to keep his spot as he set the book down on the table. " Cant you see i am reading, so buzz off! " he yelled as he scolded the student.

" Sorry" the student replyed in a depressed tone.

Frost Angel watched as the student walked off. " why are you so mean to people when you first meet them"

" It doesent matter why its my business and not yours so dont concern yourself with it. "

OOC: The deck uses Harpie Lady 1 - in the IC post it's referred to as just Harpie Lady because 2 and 3 aren't in the deck.

His Golem is impressive in defence as well as attack, Deryn thought, It'll take a lot to get rid of it. "Very well then," she replied, "it's my turn, so I-" She stopped, her hand just touching the card atop her deck. What's this feeling? She thought. It's as if I can sense the card somehow. But that should be impossible. Oh well, here goes. "I draw, and I summon Harpie Princess to the field in Attack Position," she called, not even looking at the card. To her amazement, she was right - the monster she had just played was the one she had predicted it would be. "Next I activate the spell card Featherdance, which lets me summon Harpie Lady from my deck." Another female figure emerged, instantly increasing the attack power of the other harpies on the field (ATK 1600) Then I'll tune my Harpie Princess with Harpie Dancer. When the sky winds blow, a new dance will begin. Show your grace high above. Synchro Summon! Soar, Harpie Falcon!" Another winged female appeared, this one with grey wings, and with a slighter build than the others. (ATK 2000+300). "Now, I'll activate the field spell Harpie Wasteland once more, giving both my monsters 200 more points. (Harpie Lady ATK 1800, Harpie Falcon ATK 2500). Now, Harpie Falcon will attack your face-down Golem, and if you're wondering why I'd attack when it has more defence points than my Harpie has attack points, it's simple. When Harpie Falcon attacks, she gets 800 more attack points, but then leaves the game until my next turn. (ATK 3300) Now, Harpie Falcon, go! Super Driver!" The slim figure rushed at high speed towards the image of the card. As the rock monster re-materialised, the winged woman drove through it, shattering it, before vanishing from the field. "Now you're wide open. Harpie Lady, move in and finish him off." The other harpie took flight, and rushed at the Yorkshireman, talons ready to strike.

"I hold my share of spell cards in my dueling deck, but they are there to guide my own cards in the way to increase their overall ability in battle."

So he has somewhat of a deck like mine? Based upon Warrior-type monsters, however, mine are a unique set of monsters. -Voren thought.-

"Warrior-type monsters, eh? I hold a strong interest in those kind of cards as well. In fact, that is what I based my deck on."

-Turning back around Voren noticed The Dragon Warrior card on the ground. Moving his hand over he pressed his fingers upon the card and slid it off of the counter to where only his pointer finger, middle finger, and thumb where holding onto the card. It was one of those kind of cards that held great meaning and would never be replaced by a newer card. Scorch and burn marks, a missing corner, and a few cuts here and there. Some asked why Voren didn't just throw that card away.... simply because he shared a special bond with the card. Nothing more.-

"Yeah it was kind of fun. I haven't flown whit chopper before." Ishimaru confessed. "So wasen't that a reason enough to come by chopper?"Headmaster sayed while grinning. Man, that's annoying. why dosnet he speak to me straight They arrived to the main building" Here you will be teaching fien young students for a while" Headmaster told him. Ishimaru Looked at the Main building, it was huge at his option. "I think i'll enyou my time here." he sayed and walked through the doors to the lobby. ooc: IT'S A TELEDAD TIME.

Arthur stood sulkily, staring at the ground as the holograms in front of him faded. "Well, back to the drawing board." he said to the random girl. "That was a fun duel. It changed me, and stuff." With that he walked back to his dorm to build TeleDAD. I guess I don't need this anymore. he thought as he looked at his deck. With a sharp movement, he threw the deck of cards away behind him as he walked away, and the cards began to scatter in the EPIC ANIME BREEZE that came behind him. Next time, I'll be victorious. he thought. With the ultimate offensive power at my side.

"Really?" Ander smiled. Perfect! God luck for once! A Warrior-wielding commrade! "Let see just how lucky I am, hmm? Have you been assigned your flatmate yet?"

Ander posed the fairly odd question while watching him pick up his dragon Warrior. Ander liked that card. He could tell it held alot of meaning to Voren, just like Yu-Jo friendship meant to him. He'd recall several years ago when he first met his friend, Jared, but right now, there were more pressing matters.

"Unfortunately, My deck is only really a mish-mash of Warrior-Cards I liked. Most of them belonged to my friend. When I got accepted to the academy, he bought me a duel disk, and gave me this deck here, except for two Evocators I bought myself. There's not too much strategy, but it pulls through for me consistently enough, you know?

"I wonder, what has he learnt from this duel," Deryn muttered, watching him walk away. "Given his mood, I do have to doubt he learnt what I'd hoped he would." She suddenly blinked in surprise as the boy proceeded to throw the cards away as he left. Not even bothering to reform her own deck, she deactivated her duel disk and rushed to pick up the cards. For some reason the boy didn't care, but Deryn was quick enough to grab most of the card, even though a few fluttered out of her reach. He's really moody, she thought, looking through his cards, this is a good deck, and it could well win. If it wasn't for a bit of luck on my part, he could have won this duel. She contemplated running after him, but given his mood he decided to wait a bit first. They were in the same dorm anyway, so he shouldn't be too hard to find. She walked back into the card shop to have a better look at the deck.

Conred was on the boat to Star Duel Academy, when he fell of the boat by accident. The boat drove off. Conrad swam as fast as he could in the ocean to the ship which disappeared from view. "When will I ever get there?" asked Conrad to himself, his arms tired. Lucky for him, he had his deck in a deck holder so no water would go in. He kept on swimming until he reached an old stick. He held on to it, then [s]used his waterbending[/s] swam some more, floating on the stick. Days went by, and all he had eaten was a fish that he had aught. He had then just arrived at the coasts of Star Duel Academy a week later. He ran around the island, finnaly going into the Ra Gold dorm and found his room, but first took a quick shower and jumpped on his bed and waited.

OOC: Anyone, yugimonz duel?

Arthur stared at the deck on his desk, having teleported to his dorm with the power of PLOT CONVENIENCE. It's completed. he thought. The most consistently powerful deck ever made, and I have it in my hands. He smiled briefly, exposing his teeth. Let's test. With that, he picked up the deck and walked out of his Archfiend Crimson dorm room, with dust motes swirling around him and CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT.

"Actually, I have two roommates where I am staying."

-Voren thought it was just as bit of strange for Ander to ask a question such as that. The way that he found out about certain people in terms of personality, history, and other such things was usually through a duel. However, at this moment in time he was unsure if he really wanted to actually engage in a duel. With the mysterious voice in his head he actually wondered if it was wise to actually duel at all. Until Ander spoke of his own cards being a mish-mash of cards he liked.-

That can't be true. -Voren thought.-

"There is the possibility of not simply choosing cards you like and cards being given to you. What I believe is that you also hold a special bond of those cards you choose and the cards that were given to you. Just like I do with my cards and this card here."

-Raising his hand up he showed the damaged Dragon Warrior card. In all honesty many where suprised it still worked after being placed upon a duel disk after being synchro summoned. Raising an eyebrow he could feel the strength and power that Ander held with his cards. Even if they were mish-mash cards they still had a strong bond and connection with him.-

"The way I look at a duel is different then what others look at a duel. It teaches me about the opponent, their deck, and the strategies they use along with improving upon my own strategies. You get what I am going at?" -Voren lowered his arm down still holding onto Dragos' card.-

Aiya stirred slightly, muttering something in her sleep before her eyes snapped open and she sat up. She looked around, a puzzled expression on her face as she realized she was back in her room at the Stardust Platinum dorms.
"When did I get here?" She muttered, remembering leaving the classrom but not much else.
She shrugged, grabbing her deck and duel disk and wandering back outside. It was still light out, and she figured that the school day was't quite finished yet. She walked straight past Luna, who was stading just outside the front entrance to the dorm with her arms folded.
"So much for that," she sighed, turning about and vanishing into thin air.

Suddenly the inttercom went off again, "Kyosuke Yamashita, A package for you has just arrived. Kyosuke Yamashita, a package for you has just arrived." Kyosuke got up and walked over to the main office, it was the "Millennium Puzzle" Kyosuke gladly took the package and Kyosuke eventually found Aiya, "Aiya!" Kyosuke yelled accross the hall to the outside, "I know you probably don't wanna hear this, but I need you to put this on." Kyosuke took the fake Millennium Puzzle out of the box, "I need you to put this on, that's all." THe Millennium puzzle was rigged with sleeping gas so the moment Aiya put this on, she would be knocked unconscious, this was all part of Kyosuke's trick to have her realize Luna is truly there.

Aiya paused as she heard her name called out and looked about to see Kyosuke running towards her.
"Kyosuke?" She turned around to face him as he got closer, a puzzled expression on her face.
Kyosuke opened a box and handed her a heavy gold pendant in the shape of an upside-down pyramid. Still puzzled, Aiya took it from him, wondering what he was up to.
"Well, if you say so," she shrugged, lifting the chain around her neck and letting it dangle there.
Almost as soon as she did, she heard a faint hissing sound and suddenly found herself falling asleep again.

"Oi, what's the big idea!?" Luna asked, appearing behind Kyosuke "You're not gonna convince her of anything by drugging her y'know."

Deryn pocketed the rock cards, planning to look them over later, and started to gather up her own cards and put them back into a deck. As she went to get the cards from the Graveyard, she felt the same sudden sense of recognition as she had done before. She froze, staring the Harpie Princess card that had been ejected from the Graveyard slot. What is it about this card? she wondered, why does it seem so significant to me? It's not a particularly powerful card, and I may use it a lot but that's only because it gets out my synchro monsters. So why does it feel like it's connected to me?

Her eyes couldn't see it, but the monster on the card was hovering over her, seeming sad that she couldn't been sensed by the girl.

"heh, Luna you haven't been in the world of business too long have you? Drugging her isn't the solution, but when she awakes, at least when she THINKS she awakes, she will believe in you." Kyosuke Picked Luna up over his shoulder and carried her towards the Dueling Arena which he had emptied for the time he would need it. He then set Luna down and activated many holograms that would be used for Field Spell cards, but he made it to his own advantage, "Luna, I've taken video of a dramitization of one of the famous speeches that Pharaoh Atem made and other things that will generate as Aiya Awakens. The entire area will be covered in a hologram, she'll never know it's in the arena. She'll awaken and think it's the memories of the Pharaoh. I've also placed the ceremony where actual monster where first used in the card game and the memories of Yugi Moto dramatized along with his duel spirits. Duel history Dramatization Corp provided this to me. It was used for a documentary but now I'm using it. Kyosuke ran out of the Arena as the Hologram activated and a loud siren went off waking Aiya a few seconds after the hologram started.

"A Fight is a learning opportunity. Saying Knowledge is power doesn't simply concern academics." Ander looked over Voren's card. "You know, when I first saw that card I could tell that I really liked it. Looks a bit beat up, though; does it still scan in the duel disk?" Ander followed the majority of people who figured it wouldn't work.

Ander could tell he really liked Voren. It wasn't often you met someone young like them who had a solid set of ideals. Nevermind the talk about bonds with the cards. Ander didn't believe in "bonds" and special powers from the cards. It was true that he liked his cards, and would talk to them from time to time. But that was just to indulge his own insanity. That was insanity, right?

"Well. I really don't do this often, but I like you. So, without further ado..." Ander let his hand fall to his side naturally, pulling up his duel disk system and issuing the challange!

"Voren! I challange you to a dance off!" Ander declared with gusto-...wait what?

Luna followed Kyosuke inside, giving him a blank stare as he explained what he was doing.
"That plan is stupid," she remarked after a short pause.

Aiya rubbed her head, sitting lazily and noticing the room before her was blurred. She blinked several times, bringing the room into focus and realized she was sitting in what looked like an ancient, ornately decorated throne room.
"Huh? Am I dreaming again?" She muttered.
She stood up slowly, feeling a slight weight around her neck and looking down to see that the puzzle was still there. Still puzzled, she looked around, wandering just what she'd been doing to suddenly start dreaming about ancient egyptian palaces.

-Voren raised an eyebrow when Ander issued him a challenge only with different words for that matter. Looking over his shoulder at Miss Firne, he gave a nod that they will performe this 'dance' somewhere else. Looking back over to Ander he nodded and smiled. Lifting his right hand up along with his left hand he set his duel monsters deck on his left hand pickking up the damaged Dragon Warrior card. Moving his left hand over he inserted the deck into the duel disk which automatically started up and shuffled the deck.-

"How about we 'dance' outside the card shop." -Voren said motioning to follow.-

-Walking slowly; Voren led the way out of the card shop into the open area of the hallway. Gathering some distance away from Ander he lifted his duel disk up and drew out five cards with his left hand and placed them in his right hand.-

"You want to see if my Dragon Warrior card still works then I will show you here. Now since you are new here I will be on the generous side of things and allow you to go first."

-Crossing his arms over his chest he looked over to Ander to see if he was ready for his first 'dance' at Star Duel Academy. Voren was a little un-easy at this moment in time. That darkness that had been calling out to him kept him on edge only slightly. But then again he knew he was supposed to have fun and learn something about his new opponent simply through a fun little game of duel monsters.-

What an irritating class. The Mark was called out before he could do anything. Even still, at least he started the process, he proceeded to walk around, passing various dorms as he looked for new marks. He was irritated, he wanted to duel now rather than trick someone into it. It seemed interesting as he passed the Archfiend dorms that someone would walk out as he passed by. Noticing Arthur walking out, Xerian decided to drop the act as he wondered about just using a cheap excuse to duel.

"Archfiend, hm? It isn't like the old days where they organized by talent. Good or not, he's my target."

Xerian said to himself as ventured towards the kid. His attire suggested his Deck was with him. That was a no brainer though, everyone carried their Decks with them. It was time to make things interesting as he arrived at Arthur's right.

"An Archfiend I haven't defeated yet. You have perfect timing, I need another one of you Crimsons to add to be win list. Get out your Duel Disk, I'll even let you have the first turn."

Xerian said as he took out his Duel Disk, preparing to set up a duel to get himself prepped up for a real mark. He hoped this kid would actually go for it though.

"Sure." said Arthur to the random boy who challenged him. "I'll go first."
After slamming his Duel Table on the ground and drawing, Arthur said "I'll make a T-set and end."
"Ever heard of TeleDAD? It's a classic. And my move was one of its most famous opening plays." Arthur said, a whimsical smile on his face.
Prepare to face the wrath of the most powerful deck ever made. thought Arthur.

Ander laughed in an overly dramatic fashion, "You forget one my friend!" Before Voren could ask what that was, Ander answered, "I still have my cards in sleeves...heh." Ander began taking each card out of their battered sleeves. Each card looked to be in good condition, unlike the sleeves that protected them.

The de-sleeving took a moment, and when he was done, Ander didn't seem to know exactly how to put them into the duel disk system. It was quite possible that he didn't even know how to opperate it. "Give me a moment..." He said, just slightly embaressed.

"A moment" later, the cards were in the disk. Ander fixed the disk to his right arm and held it up in the "ready" position and turned it on.....and nothing happened. More accurately, the disk did in fact turn on, but nothing happened afterwards. It didn't go from standby to ready, and it didn't shuffle the deck. Only the hologram projector seemed to be active.
"Oh come on!" Ander sighed, poking at the disk. "Give me another moment. This is the first time I've used one of these things..."

Ander poked and proded at various portions of the disk, jiggling a part here, and wiggling a button there. Finally, he gave the thing a little shake and the field popped sort of. Ander made a face, indicating his bad feeling. The field slots sort of hung there, not fully open, but not closed anymore. Ander slid them into place manually, and the Disk gave a bit of a hum, signalling that NOW it was finally working!

"Sorry about that...I guess I broke it when I dropped my bag earlier." Ander sighed. Dark things loomed in the future for him, for certain. "I suppose I'll start my turn off nice and simple..." Ander grinned.

OOC:[Give me a moment, don't have a randomizer on the computer I'm typing from! Ander's turn in my next post, soon to come when I get back home!(which will be soon!)]

As he heard this kid announce about a very well known type of style, he smirked.

"Only an idiot brazingly announces his strategy. My Draw."

Xerian said as he drew and look at the cards in his hand. He smirked as he kept his thoughts to himself for the moment, too early to blatantly brag about what he had just yet.

"I play two cards face down and I set one card."

Xerian said as he placed them in the two zones outside the middle as well as putting his monster dead center. He had a reason for this of course though, which his opponent would be rudely awakened by.

"And I end."
