So, she had the defiance of an insect to go along with one's inferiority? How amusing. All the same, more tedious effort but, that could be corrected. As he sat, he wondered whether or not to be cruel just yet. The Decision didn't take him long though, she was inferior to him after all. All the same, he still had to play it along nicely. He now took his left hand and wrote on the piece of paper. It wouldn't be his handwriting this time, as this bit would be incriminating if it could lead back to him, not to mention the fact that he needed to set up a checkmate. So, he crumpled up a note, while writing with a different hand and female handwriting style as he chuckled to himself.

How dull, she isn't even trying. That's going to change.

Xerian thought to himself as he knew of a way to make this situation amusing. Then, something interrupted him.

"Alright class, pop quiz!"

It was an annoyance but, something he could use to his advantage. He wrote on the note in the new style and, made it much more open so even someone just walking by could read it. And then while the teacher grabbed the test sheets, he tossed the paper at her again during the time the teacher began to talk.

"Everything we just talked about in class will be on the test. It will count for your classwork grade for the day."

Xerian was annoyed but he paid enough attention to get some of the important information at least. And he could easily cheat on it anyway. More importantly though, the piece of paper had written on it an interesting tidbit and was fairly open so even someone walking by could read it

Don't forget, Black Feather Monsters are good at swarming and field advantage! I can't wait until we get out of class and get away from our Crazy Teacher. You're right, he really doesn't stop talking, no wonder you fell asleep!

Another bump on the head told Aiya that yet another wad of paper had been thrown in her direction. Getting a little annoyed by now, Aiya was tempted to just yell and demand that whoever was doing it stop immediaetely but since the teacher was handing out test papers she decided against it.
"Oh, perfect," she muttered as she looked a the questions on the sheet.
Out of habit, she opened the wad of paper and noticed what was written on it, her face turning abruptly to confusion.
Wait, now they're helping me? She thought Why would...
"*Ahem*"
Aiya turned bright pink, matching her hair, and looked up to see the teacher standing in front of her, looking down at the paper in her hand.
"Oh dear," Aiya muttered, noticing that he was eying the paper around her dest.
"Need I remind you passing notes is not allowed," he said, staring down at her and causing her to flinch.
"I-I-I...Um," Aiya had absolutely no idea how to reply.
The teacher let out a sigh a pulled out his notebook, writing something down on it.
"I'll let you off with a warning for now, but don't let it happen again,"
"Y-yes sir," Aiya muttered in a defeated voice.

In the meantime, a young girl ran across the front entrance of the school, apparently unnoticed by the students gathered around it despite her appearance. She was dressed in an odd black and white, jester style outfit and her long silver blue hair was tied in two long pigtails that looked like two crescent moonds. She quickly moved inside the building, still completely invisible to anybody around her, and practically sprinted down a corridor before turning a corner to come face to face with a boy talking to a pair of duel spirits.
"Oh bugger," she said out loud upon realizing that the boy (Kyo) could probably see her.

Mission accomplished. Now, she was both in the Teacher's eye and given a warning. How touching that she thought she could win against a superior being such as Xerian. As he test came to him, he looked at the questions and began writing. Even though he only knew the answers to six out of ten of the questions, his eyes were sharp enough to get swift looks at papers. His clever timing of when to look and not look managed to get him past the test. To seem reasonable, he intentionally got one of the answers wrong even though he knew the right answer based on his cheating eye. All the same, he turned his paper over as he sat there. The teacher then looked at the clock once more before looking towards the class.

"Two more minutes everyone. You have two minutes to finish."

Kyosuke turned his head slightly and realized that a girl had came out of nowhere and was staring straght at him. Kyosuke backed up a little and asked, "Umm Hi there? Are you lost or something?" Kyosuke asked, then his duel spirit became, well, alive I guess? "Who's she!?" the apprentice asked in a harsh tone, "I don't know!" "Oh really? I bet she's your girlfriend!""Wh-What!? Blue help me please!" Suddenly Knight of blue came out and grabbed his apprentice, "Behave yourself!" he said and they disappeared, Kyosuke then picked up the card that he dropped on the floor earlier, "So sorry about that, I'm Kyosuke Yamashita, you are?"

The girl blinked, staring at the odd antics of the boy's duel spirits before they both vanished.
"Guess you can see me then," she muttered "Anyway, I'm busy..."
She made to run straight past the boy but paused, leaning towards him to get a closer look.
"Kyosuke," she repeated "You where dueling Aiya before, right? You where moping the floor with her but you surrendered."
She heaved a sigh, folding her arms.
"Oh boy, that means this is all your fault then."

Aiya bit her lip as she examined the test paper, knowing barely an of the answers to them aside from the commonly known ones and the hint on the last wad of paper that had just been thrown at her. She jumped when the teacher announced that they only had about two minutes left and hurridly guessed the rest of her answers.

Time ticked on before it clicked to the ending second as the teacher looked towards the Class. Xerian was in the clear so he had nothing to worry about as the teacher went forward.

"Pencils down, papers flipped. Quiz is done. Oh, and I've decided to also count this as a part of your test grade as well."

At hearing this, several students grumbled and moaned before the teacher clapped his hands together to get everyone to calm down. He soon went forward, proceeding to go by each and every desk, collecting them to quickly score them. He managed past Xerian's desk, getting his as he soon went downwards towards Aiya's preparing to collect hers as well amongst the clatter of students.

"Im sorry but, are you one of Aiya's duel spirits?" Kyosuke asked questioningly, "Can she even see you?" Kyosuke asked, "SO WHO'S THIS AIYA? YOUR GIRLFRIEND!?" the apprentice yelled as she appeared again, "NO! BLUE!!!" Kyosuke yelled and the knight appeared again, he covered her mouth, "Sorry, lost control of her again..." they then disappeared, Kyosuke then turned back to the duel spirit, "So what do you mean my fault? Does she not like the fact that she won? Or doesn't she understand what I meant by surrendering?"

Spencer had packed up his note book and his updated deck into his bookbag. Spencer placed his hood onto his hide his face, a slight smile of accomplishment came across his face as he packed away his card.

" Well that took much longer than i expected" Spencer took a deep breath, and exhaled while looking up to the sky.

" So what do you plan on doing now Spencer are you going to go to class, or try to socialize and make a few friends, or are going to try out your deck" The winged Angel said in a happy tone.

Spencer looked at Frost Angel and smiled. " No I think i might grab a bite to eat, and then maybe read a book"

" Ahhh Spencer what about class, you havent been going arent you worried about getting in trouble " She answered in a concern tone.

Spencer sighed, and began to walk in the direction of the Schools cafeteria. " I could care less if i get in trouble, and as for friends ...... who needs them. Friends are only there to let you down, the word friend is tossed around so commonly , but it has lost all meaning. No one knows what it means to be a true friend anymore. It really comes down to a simple choice do I break down and give into the phoneious or do i trust no one and live in the loneliness."

The cheerful Angel who was following behind Spencer stoped in her tracks and began to cry. Spencer did not notice that Frost Angel had fallen behind so he kept walking. " That is so sad, his heart has nearly closed up. He has changed up so much from when he was younger, the older he get the colder his heart becomes, and i fear i wont be able to save him from himself." More tears rolled freely from her face. " Spencer I am so sorry I am failing you, but i swear that i will not lose you to the darkness."

" Hey are you coming" Spencer yells from a distance

Frost Angel places her arm infrot of her face to hide her tears. " Yea im coming, go on i will catch up" She quickly wiped her tears as spencer walked off. " As long as he has that card within his deck the darkness will have a tight bond on his heart"

Frost Angel had quickly flaped her puffy white wing to try to catch up with Spencer as they entered the schools cafeteria.

The girl scratched her head, thinking.
"Yes and no," she replied "It's not that she can't see me, it's that she doesn't want to see me. Course she doesn't actually know I'm..." She paused, frowning as the boy's irritating duel spirit popped out again only to be subdued by its master "....Okay, thing you should know about Aiya is she's a nervous wreck, she loses and she gets all gloomy about it, she wins she starts feeling guilty about it, especially if that person is....For example....The son of the head of Industrial Illusions and the sort of person who you'd never expect to surrender to such a pathetic duelists like her in a million years." She finished flatly "Basically the short answer is, you've made her super-depressed and it's having a negative effect on her subconscious and her spiritual powers are kind of leaking out, hence me being here."

Aiya leaned back, breathing a defeated sigh as the teacher collected her test paper.
"Don't know why I even bothered," she muttered, looking briefly around the classroom in case anybody else was planning on throwing paper at her.

"I can fix this." Kyosuke said with no hesitation, he pulled out his cell phone and hacked the School announcement speakers in order to call Aiya down. "Aiya, Please report to the Hallway outside of the Business section of the building. Aiya, Please report to the Hallway outside of the Business section of the building, Thank you." Kyosuke knew the code because he asked for it sometime earlier today. "She'll be here any minute, and I can fix this. Trust me. All she needs to do, is talk to you."

-While waiting for Miss Firne to get the Blades of Courage rung up on the register a sudden jolt of energy struck through Voren. It was painful to the point where Voren had to lean forward placing his right hand on his deck and his left hand over his chest where his heart was. Just as his hand touched the deck a dark sensation flowed from it into his hand. A dark presence and a dark feeling that he had felt many times before in the past but never really payed attention to it.-

Why am I suddenly feeling this dark presence? What is going on with me....

-Before anything else occured a dark voice rang through his ears. It was a voice only Voren could hear and sense; it seemed to of come from within his duel monsters deck. However, through the many times he has cycled through his cards he never really came across one that he never really put into his deck. They were all cards choosen by him and yet.... something did not feel right.-

"Only one more duel is required Voren.... then and only then will I be released."

What was that?

-Voren's eyes shot open as he nearly fell forward but caught himself from falling. With his hand firmly on his deck he looked up. His gaze moved down to the Dragon Warrior card. It seemed strange that Voren has yet to be able to hear from Dragos when he seemed to have all the knowledge of almost anything that was going on. Dragos always had his back but he seemed to of distanced himself in such a way that left Voren wondering if this dark voice was keeping Dragos and himself seperated. That was the possibility in such a way, but he could not really tell at all if it was true.-

Aiya looked up, hearing her name on the classroom intercom. With a slightly confused expression on her face she gathered up her things, moving quite quickly out of the classroom.
"Now what's going on?" She muttered, trying to remember exactly where she was supposed to go.

She eventually found her way and found Kyosuke standing outside a classroom in the corridor.
"Oh! Kyosuke," she wandered over to him, not even noticing that Luna was standing next to him "Um, do you know what that was about, because I really have no idea."
"Got a plan B?" Luna asked Kyosuke.

"Don't need one Luna." Kyosuke put one hand on Aiya's Shoulder, "Aiya, don't you understand why I surrendered?" Kyosuke asked, "Also, you do believe in Duel Spirit's don't you? Because Aiya, I have some. I have two actually, and yours, is standing next to me." Kyosuke then removed his hand, "She tells me that you think she doesn't exist, well, Spell Girl Luna is standing right here, and she wants you to know she exists, you gotta believe her. You gotta believe me Aiya!"

Aiya looked completely perplexed at Kyosuke's statement, looking over his shoulder but seeing nothing there.
"D-duel spirits?" She repeated "I have no idea what you're talking about." She said, looking at Kyosuke like he was crazy "I mean, sure I like my cards and everything but they can't come to life or anything..."
"Nice try, but it's not working," Luna said synically "I told you, she's blocked me out, she might get the odd feeling that I'm here but that's about it."
Aiya took a step back away from Kyosuke, biting her lip nervously.

As the tests were handed in, he watched in amusement as the girl began to look behind herself in a paranoid fashion. That effect was always amusing to him, keeping people guessing was his specialty after all. As the teacher proceeded to correct the tests, Xerian simply held his ground. He would soon get his moment of achievement. This was a teacher that often would announce the A and F students of an assigned test. So, he'd get his moment of ego stroking soon enough.

"Alright class, the scores are in. I'm a little disappointed, only three of our students got an A on today's Quiz. Mr. Shoda, Ms. Taki, and Mr. Xerian. The rest of you still got Bs and Cs so I can't be too disappointed.....however...."

He stopped as he would then pick up two test scores from his Desk. He then held out the first one, completely empty in the score areas. There was however, a drawing of a yelling cat on it.

"Mr. Han, clearly you think this is funny. You don't get points for creativity. I'll see you in detention."

"Aiya... You care for your cards right?" Kyosuke asked, then his two duel spirits appeared behind Luna and pushed her in front of Aiya. "I swear my future position at Industrial Illusions that what I am telling you is true, Luna tells me you get weird feeling like there's someone around you correct?" Kyosuke then gave a long sigh, "You know, Yugi, Jaden, and Yusei all had Duel Spirits." Kyosuke said with a small grin and turned his head to the side, "And that's a fact. They do exist Aiya, you've just been blocking yours out."

((Aiya's been called out of the classroom, so a duel will have to wait. Plus I need to go to bed soon anyway >< ))

Aiya continued to stare at Kyosuke, hardly daring to believe what he was saying. Though judging by his tone of voice he didn't seem to be lying or trying to trick her.
"Y-you're serious?" She stammered, still half expecting him to yell 'psyche' and burst out laughing "I....I honestly have no idea what you're talking about! I'm pretty sure I'd know if I where blocking them out or..." She paused, staring at the space directly in front of her where Luna was "I...Err....." She faltered, unsure of what to say next.
"You're gonna have to try harder than that," Luna said "Short of actually showing her a duel spirit which won't work cause she'll refuse to see it, you're gonna have to find a better way to prove it to her."

"Luna, tell me something only you would know, as Aiya's Spirit monster." Kyosuke said loud enough for Aiya to hear, he needed to convince her that Luna was there so she would stop being so depressed. Aiya actually reminded him of himself back at the orphanage, always feeling guilty about one thing or depressed about another. And he felt better knowing that something was watching over him, protecting him if you will.

Aiya stared at Kyosuke as he apparently spoke to thin air. Luna paused, thinking.
"She used to have a charmer deck before she switched to spell girls," she said "And I know this cause she still keeps her old deck in her spare duel disk back at home, and her familiar possessed eria has a scratch down one side when the cat got at it."
Aiya on the other hand was wandering if she should just leave and have a lie down somewhere, this day was becoming increasingly wierd by the minute and she wasn't sure she could stand much more of it."

Kyosuke grabbed Aiya's arm before she could leave, "Listen, Luna just told me that you used to have a charmer deck before you switched to spell girls, and she knows this cause you still keep your old deck in your spare duel disk back at home, and your familiar possessed eria has a scratch down one side when the cat got at it." Kyosuke said and let go of Aiya, "Now Aiya, how else would I know that?"

Aiya flinched when Kyosuke grabbed her by the arm, almost entirely convinced now that he was crazy if it weren't for the seriousness of his tone. As such, she had little choice but to listen to what he had to say and her expression changed from worry and confusion to absolute shock.
"H-how...How do you...?" She stammered.
What he'd said was completely true, right down to the bit about the cat. But that deck was back at home and there's no way it would be in Kyosuke's notebook and she was certain that he didn't have her dad's phone number, let alone call him up just for a prank, and there was nobody else who knew about that deck meaning...

Slowly, the colour drained from Aiya's face and she involountarily pulled her arm free from Kyosuke's grip and took a few steps away from him, sinking down onto her knees and staring at the floor in disbelief.

((I have to go now, so we'll have to carry on later, soz >< ))

Kyosuke took a few steps back, "I know you must be in shock, but it's true weather you believe it or not, Luna is there to protect you, she can help you. But you need to recognize her existence first." Kyosuke just looked down at Aiya, 'If only she had hope. If only she could fully grasp what was happening around her." Kyosuke thought to himself waiting for Aiya's reaction. Was his efforts worth it?

Ike Flarigan then chose that time to reveal himself. "Hes right. Duel Spirits do exist. I also have two duel spirits. Ojama Red, show yourself please." said Ike. He looked at Famous and Aiya, having eavesdropped after meeting his second duel spirit....(flashback)

Ike looked at the warrior/fiend hybrid. "Its you! The card that I-" started Ike, but the duel spirit shushed him. "Yes, I made sure you picked me back there. You couldnt have gotten that lucky on your own. But fate must have brought us together!" said the spirit, looking at Ike. "Yes, but what is your name?" asked Ike. "My name? Of course. My name is...

(flashback end) "Yes, Duel Spirits do exist, and Apparently you have headaches whenever you look at a Duel Spirit. But you must accept that you hav one to..." said Ojama Red. "Ok, I think I can show you my other spirit. Please show yourself, Mixti, Supreme Dragon Lord of Dark World!" said Ike, and Mixti appeared. "Your not crazy Aiya. A lot of kids here can. I know Famous here and Hayden can." Said Ike, looking at Aiya on the floor.

There seemed to be a disappointingly low amount of people at the card shop. a total of two. Yay...

However, he did look like a student! So with the aid of the student, there was a good chance that Ander would get to know the grounds a bit better.

"Hello-" Ander started in a sing-song jovial tone, then stopped, "-Woah, hey, are you ok?" Ander moved to Voren's side quickly and looked him over while putting a hand on his shoulder. "You're sort of slumped over. What's wrong?"

Ander moved his his duel disk, which was previously in his right hand, to his left hand so he could awkwardly hold it and his deck together while trying to console Voren from his left side. Ander noted at this time that his Violet and Green duel disk system would clash horribly with the Ra Gold uniform that Voren was wearing; and that he would be wearing soon.

(OOC: Putting names of people I interact with/talk to in Bold, so its easier to see/find for others! ;)

"The thing about Cold Wave," Deryn replied, eyes hidden in shadow by her hair, "is that I can still use my traps when you activate it. I use Icarus Attack!" she yelled, looking up. "Now, by releasing my Cyber Harpie Girl, I can destroy any two cards on the field." Now, he still has that face-down card, but I can deal with that later, and if he could use it against me now, hitting it won't do a thing, so the answer is clear. "I destroy Naturia Beast and one of your Fortress Golems!" she called. The small winged girl suddenly shot skyward, and looped around, firing upwards into one of the rock monsters, punching right through it, and rushing headlong into the tiger-like creature alongside it.
I'm like a psychic or something, thought Arthur. "Counter Trap, activate! Solemn Judgment!" A old man appeared and punched the small winged girl in the face. If this all goes through, it's game over for this offensive national stereotype. thought Arthur. "LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLSAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK!" he shouted loudly.
