[I]That monster keeps getting stronger.[/I] -Voren thought watching as Dimitry's card rose in power. There had to be a way to dismantle that card without coming to defeat.-

-Drawing a card from his deck he looked it over along with the other cards. With Brute Defender on the field it was only a matter of time before he was destroyed. Voren had to bring up the defenses more. He had to try and get Dragon Warrior on the field. Only with his special ability would he be able to defeat that Ancient Gear monster.-

[I]Maybe this will work.[/I]

[COLOR="Purple"]"I will summon out Max Warrior to the field in attack mode."[/COLOR]

-Next to Brute Defender another warrior-type monster appeared on the field. This one was also armored. He was lucky to have this card in his deck because now he could deal some damage. Looking over his hand he noticed another card that could remove monsters from play for two turns. He could use this card but he could not attack this turn which would leave this particular card wide open for an attack. Even with the attack point boost thanks to Kyo's spell card it was hard to decide how to percieve this.-

"Now I play Giant Trunade and move all spell and trap cards on the feild back to the owners hand now i relay my facedwon and play Limiter Remover. so my monster has 9000 atk untill the end of my turn now i play change of heart to take control of Kyo's monster, And now Ill finish this with one attack." Dimitry said was his monster unleashed a massive bombardment of rockets amed right at Kyo.[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"Man Dimitry you wipped the floor with them on you second turn." bloob night said as he appeared out of Dimitry's deck.[/color]

-Voren's eyes nearly widened when Dimitry activated a card that could ultimiately end the duel right then and there. Looking at his face-down cards he knew that he could stop Giant Trunade and even the attack on Kyo. Raising a finger he activated his face-down cards.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"Don't celebrate yet as I activate Magic Jammer and the Negate Attack trap cards. By discarding one card from my hand to the graveyard I can stop the activation of the Giant Trunade card and destroy it."[/COLOR]

-Placing one card from his hand into the graveyard the Magic Jammer took effect stopping Dimitry's card and destroying it. Next up was the Negate Attack trap card.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"Now my Negate Attack takes effect stopping your monsters attack and ending your battle phase. Oh well, and a well played move but this duel aint over yet. Remember its a double duel."[/COLOR]

-Soon the swirling vortex pushing Dimitry's monster back stopping it before it could proceed and ending his battle phase. Voren glanced over to Kyo giving him a nod of teamwork and working together to keep this duel going.-

Dimitry said as his stolen monster and Vorens monster shattered and raind dust onto the feild.[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"That was a good move Voren's part. nd that was a great move you just made Dimitry.[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"I have my one tick up my sleeve." dimitry said with a wicked smile on his face.[/color]

The Secretary seemed less than pleased with Ander's lack of an acceptance letter, or any proof at all of being accepted to the school. She told him that only the Dean had record of unregistered students, and told him to wait outside the Dean's door while she paged him.

It would make sence the Dean(Of Students) would have the student records, and Ander wanted to see him anyway...but this wasn't exactly the meeting he was hoping for. He'd probably have to take extra classes, and do extra work for being late.

Oh well. It's not like he didn't see this coming. He's had bad luck since he was born pretty much, so he sort of evolved an ability to foresee the crappy events of his life before they unfolded. He considered it "Tele-pathetic" power, most people just called it "Justifiable Paranoia". In any case, he pretty much knew how things would turn out....

The silence of sitting there was unbearable, however. In his old school, the Dean was a tall, gruff, Ex-army guy. An intimidating force to be certain. Imagining having to bother that man about something so annoying in the morning when he probably hadn't had his coffee yet; Ander was a dead man. Each second ticking by hammered on his senses, telling him "That's one more second before an angry monster kills you for being an idiot." He picked up his pack and pulled out his deck, looking at the cards. On top was Destiny Hero Plasma; Not exactly a card of good omens.

Now all he had to do was wait for the Dean to come out and speak to him....

[i]Finally,[/i] thought Arthur as he shuffled his new deck. [i]I'm finished.[/i] He sat still for a moment, staring blankly at the wall of his room. [i]Well, I guess I might as well go test it.[/i] he thought. [i]It's not as if I have any classes to go to.[/i] With that, he got up and stormed out of the room.

"Yay!" Arthur said loudly after he had teleported to the card shop through the power of LAZY WRITING. "Cards! Now that's something you don't see often on this island! Who am I talking to!" With that, he kicked open the door, knocking over a display of Collector's Tins in the center of the store.

Aiya looked up from rearranging her deck when a loud shout brought her out of her thinking. From the looks of it, a boy had just entered rather over-enthusiastic entrance and had knocked over a display of collector tins, some of the contense of which had spilled out onto the floor. She stared at the boy in slight surprise for a moment before quickly returning her attention to her cards.
[i]I think I'm still missing something[/i] she thought, looking around the shop [i]Wait a sec, where'd Kyosuke and the others go?[/i]
She bit her lip and replaced her deck back into the case on he belt.
[i]Great, I finally caught up with him and he vanishes again.[/i] She heaved a sigh, getting to her feet and collecting up all the spare cards [i]Maybe they went back to the duel arena, they where having a duel before but got cut off, so maybe they're finishing it.[/i]

Having tired of following the four people who were tag dueling, and still looking over the cards, in an attempt to see if there were any other new cards for her to use. Still wanting to consider things - her deck was working well as it was, and she didn't want to change it round for no reason. She was about to leave when the door swung open, knocking over some tins, as the boy from before, the one who seemed to think he was in some sort of fictional universe, arrived. [i]Oh boy, here we go,[/i] Deryn sighed.

Perry continued to watch the duel, waiting to see what would happen next.

Arthur stared intensely at the scattered tins for a few seconds, until an idea formed in his mind. [i]What would any logical person do if they saw scattered tins on the floor that they had knocked over?[/i] he thought. “TIN FIGHT!” he shouted as he picked up tins and started throwing them at nearby patrons, until he recognized his last victim. “Hello random Welsh girl who doesn’t like mining! Fancy seeing you here!” [i]Now that I think about it, maybe a tin fight wasn't the best idea.[/i] thought Arthur dazedly as his life flashed before his eyes.

Deryn caught the tin that flew towards her, and looked straight into the eyes of the boy who had thrown it at her. Predictably, it was strange boy with the English accent - [i]Yorkshire,[/i] she suddenly realised - who had thrown it, having decided that throwing tins of cards was a sensible thing to do. She bristled as he called her random again, but ignored it for the moment, since there were more important things to deal with at the moment. She walked up to the boy and grabbed the front of his jacket. "What kind of idiot are you?" she asked, "throwing things around, acting like life is a game, do you have any sense of restraint at all? No, don't answer that, just follow me." She let go of the boy's jacket, and left the shop. Outside, she activated her duel disk.

"It's a duel you want, ey?" said Arthur as he slammed his table onto the ground and began to riffle shuffle his Deck. "You're on then." [i]I've been wanting to test, so it's fine by me.[/i] thought Arthur. [i]What's this girl's problem anyway? All I did was throw a tin at her. People do that.[/i] "Ladies first." said Arthur, as he drew his hand. [i]Whatever she’s using, she can’t beat the sheer explosiveness of my overhauled Rock-Type Deck anyway[/i]. he thought, smiling.

"Why thank you, boyo," Deryn replied, "so chivalry isn't quite dead yet. It's on life support, but still breathing. Anyway, I draw," she added, picking another card. [i]Now, what to do, what to do. Ah, that'll work.[/i] "I think I'll start with this," she declared, "Flying Kamakiri number 1, in defence position." A large insect emerged on the field, sitting on the image of it's own card, "and I'll activate the field spell Harpie Wasteland, add a face-down, and finish up for the moment." The ground around the duelists turned to broken ground, devoid of plant life, as the image of a card appeared in front of the female duelist. "It's your turn, boyo. Let's see what you can do."

Kyosuke smiled, [i]"Well looks like I didn't have to use my trap card after all."[/i] Kyosuke then drew one card making his total number six, "Thanks Voren." Kyosuke then looked at his hand, "Now it's time for me to make a counter attack!" Kyosuke said as he pulled one card from his hand, "I send Necro Energy Generator to the graveyard..."

"Necromancer Knight of blue! I can tribute one spell card instead of a monster card to summon this monster to the field. Next the card I just sent to the graveyard allows me to summon any non-ritual monster with Necromancer in it's name from my hand to the field. And I summon Necromancer of Fate!"

"Now Necromancer of Fate's Effect activates!" Kyosuke then pressed a button on the duel disk and a die rolled. It came up six, "Now I roll again..." It came up six again. "Now since it came up Six twice I can choose which effect activates. I choose effect number five, I can destroy one monster on your field and I choose your Alpha ancient Gear Warrior!" The Necromancer raised his sword into the air and it blasted the Gear warrior into bits. "I end my turn by placing two cards face down." (Used random throw generator)

Sorenitie drew her next card. [color="#FF0000"]"Now i flip my trap Fatal Abacus." Dimitry said. [/color] "Hum.... well I might take a hit for this but i'd rather take a hit and destroy a monster then let it on your feild, So Ill play my only card Exiled Force and tribute him to destroy you necromancer of fate Kyo, Now I flip Call of the hunted and resummon my lycanthrope to my feild." Sornitie said as she flip the card on her duel disk.

-Voren was lucky to have Magic Jammer to stop the activation of Giant Trunade, and then Negate Attack to stop Dimitry's attack and end his battle phase on the spot; but not before Brute Defender shattered into peaces right in front of him. Now that he was in the graveyard he could use his effect which would prove useful very soon. However, because of the use of his two trap cards that he was planing on using later he was now left wide open for an attack with Max Warrior. Looking over to Kyo he gave a nod after he (Kyo) said thanks for helping him out. Now it was time to return the favor by mounting a come-back assault. With Kyo summoning his monsters and then Sorinitie pulling back her wolf like creature from the Graveyard; Voren knew that he had to put that puppy down for good.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"My draw."[/COLOR]

-Pulling the top card from his deck he looked it over then looked to his hand. That overgrown mutt had 2400 attack points. None of his monsters came close to the attacking power of that creature right now. Each of his cards could be used in a unique kind of way which would really help out in his case.-

[I]Max Warrior's attack is to low to go up against that mutt; I have to find another way around it.[/I] -Voren thought.-

[B]"Voren, did you not forget Max Warrior's effect. When he attacks he gains an extra 400 attack points. So with that added 500 thanks to Kyo's field spell and then the extra attack points when he attacks you will be able to destroy that monster."[/B]

-Looking at Max Warrior, Voren nearly forgot the effect of his monster. It was a useful one with a side-effect but it would help out in the long run. Looking at his hand an idea came to mind with three cards that he held.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"I summon Warrior's Pride to the field in defense mode, and thanks to his special ability I am allowed to bring back one level two or below monster from my graveyard, but that monsters effects are negated. So return to the field Speed Warrior in defense mode."[/COLOR]

-Placing the card on his duel disk; another armored warrior rose up with two pistols in his hand. This same warrior kneeled down crossing his arms in an 'X' style fashion. Following closely behind was the level two Speed Warrior monster. Some would actually wonder how Speed Warrior got into Voren's graveyard. The simple use of Magic Jammer and discarding one card from his hand to the graveyard made it all possible. Speed Warrior soon kneeled down going on the defense as well. Voren had the option of Synchro Summoning a synchro monster but it seemed best to save that for later.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"Now it's my monsters turn to move ahead of that Lycanthrope creature of yours. Go my warrior and attack with swift rush."[/COLOR]

-Twirling his staff in the air Max Warrior arches his knees and jumps into the air heading straight for Sorinitie's wolf monster. With 2300 attack points it would not stand a chance but power was not everything for this warrior-type deck.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"Sure he may have 2300 attack points but thanks to his special ability he gains another 400 attack points when he attacks making him more than a match for that mutt of yours."[/COLOR] ((Whether the attack lands or not)) [COLOR="Purple"]"But even after the use of his effect he loses half of his original attack power and half of his level as well. I will leave it at the with two cards face-down."[/COLOR]

Kyosuke said as the trap warrior cut the machine in half. "Now I draw!" Kyosuke smiled, "Now I remove my Apprentice of red from the graveyard and remove it from play so I can summon Necromancer-Warrior of Death!"

Ike Flarigan walked away from the tag duel, which he had just began to be boring. Ike decided to walk around the campus. He walked around, but the realized that he was very bored, as he now knew the island by heart, and they had only been here for a week. "Maybe I should focus on my grades..." said Ike outloud, sitting on a nearby bench. [color="#FF0000"]Ojama Red looked at Ike. "Perhaps you wanna be a pro duelist, then you could gain lots of money." said Ojama Red. But then, he sensed something peculiar. Ojama Red sensed these things around in the woods. "Ike, follow me!" said Ojama Red, then floated off.[/color] "Uhh....okay..." said Ike. He ran after Ojama Red into some nearby woods. The thicket of trees reminded him of his old house...[color="#FF0000"]Ojama Red finnaly stopped. He looked at a run-down, abandoned house. It looked like a dorm...[/color] "Ojama Red, where are we?" asked Ike, looking at the dorm. But then he saw something moving at the dorm. This place looked weird enough, but these seemed strange. Like something that shouldnt be here. Then he saw more strange movement. "Ojama Red....maybe we should...RUN!" Said Ike. He ran through the thicket of trees out back to his bench. He looked back. Something wasnt right about that place... and not just that dorm, but Star Shine Island as well... He decided to walk back to the tag duel. He ran intil he reached where he had originally was.

OOC: Well, I read the first page again and I think Ive just sorta "forshadowed" a bit.

Aiya stared at the strange boy for a moment before another girl, apparetly having a vendetta against him, dragged him outside for a duel. Aiya sighed and finished gathering up her cards before leaving the shop to head back to the duel arena. While on her way there she noticed Ike walking in the same direction and decided to attract his attention.
[b]"Hey, um...Ike!"[/B] She called out, jogging to catch up to him [b]"Err...Hi. Everything okay?"[/b]
Again, she felt an odd headache as soon as she walked near him and found her vision being drawn to a spot just above Ike's shoulder, but she couldn't see anything there.

-Voren took a gradual step back as all the monsters on the field shattered to peaces and then Dimitry summoned Ancient Gear Soldier. Though the effect of the monster showed that Voren could not activate any of his trap or spell cards that did not mean he could use the special ability of a monster to stop his attack. However, just as he was about to perform his play Dimitry came out activating his own trap destroying the Ancient Gear Soldier card, thus saving him from 1300 points of damage.-

[I]I'm glad he is my partner.[/I]

[COLOR="Purple"]"Nice, you saved me."[/COLOR]

-Turning back with the two cards on his field he took a calm breath of air and exhaled allowing him to relax for the moment. Only next turn would he be able to activate his two face-down cards and use them in a way to get a strong monster onto the field.-

Spencer seemed to be in a bit of a daze as he walked aroud the campus. Spencer was grateful that his Frost Angel tried to cheer him up, but not even the duel spirit could lift the burden that clouded his mind. Spencer found himself loast and angry, but he did not know why. It could have come from the tie he had with Voren which he considered a lost.

"[b] Dam it, I need to clear my head [/b]"

Spencer walked to the docks where he first arrived, and took a seat near the water. Spencer took off his book bag, and pulled out a spiral notebook which was well worn. Spencer also pulled out his deck and layed out his crads into five even rows.

" [b]Ok let me think this out, where is the fault in my deck [/b]"

Spencer flips threw the pages of the notebook which was covered from head to toe with note, some of the images and notes even overlaped each other. The notes would have been hard to decipher for an average person, but it was clears these notes were written by a genius.

" [b]No no no, thats not it....... I belive in my deck, but how could i have lost each one of my Arctic monsters work hand in hand for a perfect union[/b]."

Spencer shuffles his cards creating new combos, and techniques, he also jots down notes in the already filled notebook, writing new notes over the old.

[color="#2F4F4F"]The bell rang and Dimitry and Sorenitie ran from the duel callinjg "Sorry we've got to get to class."[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"So I have duel tech next what about you babe?" Dimitry asked as thewy entered the building.[/color] "I have the same class. so lets get going." Sorenitie replied with a smile. as they walked down the hall they passed the card shop. [color="#2F4F4F"]"Hey Miss Frine."[/color] [color="#006400"]"Hello kids how is everything how did the duel go?"[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"We walked away from it so we could get to class." Dimitry said as the just got pass the door.[/color] [color="#8B0000"]"Dimitry why did you relay walk away from that duel back there?"[/color] [color="#FF0000"]"because3 that Kyo kid constantly has a card for everything and there effects are way to strong even for you or Zero to face, That's why I walked."[/color]

A banana in hand, a figure slowly entered into the area. The arena was interesting, based on the way things look, a duel had occurred here recently. How recently he didn't know but Xerian was interested. There was always someone to manipulate from a duel loss or win. He then walked forward to see if the duel was over or still in effect. He saw a pair of individuals talking. one was a female, that much he could tell. The other, he wasn't sure. He decided to walk towards them, he needed to learn something new. After all, the more you knew, the easier it was to manipulate those around you.

[b]"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A pair of lovebirds trying to steal some passionate kissing time away from the Teacher's eye?"[/b]

Came a voice. It was slightly lofty but morely, the arrogant tenure in it could be practically inhaled. It could have also been Xerian's current cologne. In all matters though, he cracked his neck as he swung his pale white locks out of his eyes as he moved forward to make his appearance known. He didn't catch any of the conversation, which irritated him. He wanted an ace to go up on but sometimes, you had to read an individual coldly and pick up on their flaws that way.

[b]"Mind my rather blunt interjection. This is a place that is usually where prattling little children come to bring their sweetheart for alone time. Am I interrupting such an occurrence or am I too quick to assume?"[/b]

Xerian asked as he tilted his head towards Ike and Aiye as he wondered how he could turn this situation to his advantage.

-The holographic images of the cards flickered off and both Dimitry and Sorinitie ran off to their class. Yet another duel that seemed to was away without ending? Well it was fun while it lasted and Voren got to know a bit about the decks he was dueling coming in with a few strategies of his own. Crossing his arms he looked over to Kyo and shook his head knowing that they will meet up again sometime soon. Looking down at his cards Voren wondered what card he would of drawn if it had come his turn. Placing two fingers on his deck he pulled the card out. A slight smirk came to his face at the card he drew. It was a favorite card of his but only revealing it to Dimitry and Sorinitie would put him at a disadvantage.-

[I]An interesting card, I could of summoned him if Sorinitie had summoned a monster. Then my trap would activate allowing me to bring back a monster. This duel would of gone either way in a way.[/I] -Placing the card on the top of his deck he turned over to Kyo.-

[COLOR="Purple"]"Well I better getting going Kyo. Hope to see you around sometime soon so we can have a one-on-one duel."[/COLOR]

-Pulling his duel monsters cards from his deck he added the cards from the graveyard and in the spell and trap card zone to the deck and shuffled it before placing it back in his deck holder. Leaving the duel arena he moved past the several students that were walking to their classes as some made their way back to their dorms. Voren gradually came to a stop in front of the card shop. Maybe that card was still there. Walking through the entrance a slight ringing sound came off signaling a new customer came in.-

"Hey You three by the bench didn't you hear the bell ring it's time to get to class so no lolly gaging or do i neeed to report you all and the walk you each to your class?" he questioned as he stode next to the older looking boy.
