LiAM
Ah well follow the process above, it should be easy enough to follow, really only 2 things to do + repeat. But you save all animations as .gifs. I made this: How?: 1:Create a 100x100 Layer. 2: Paste the colour red in it. 3: Create new layer 4: Paste colour orange in that layer... 5: new layer > yellow > new layer > green etc. Once I got to purple, I saved it as a looping .gif

With windows media player I can't copy the frame when the video is paused...

Î’yakuya
You can't. You need Photoshop to make animated avis. And it takes scenes from footage placed one at a time. Ask a proffessional to do it or how to do it.

LiAM
You can make them in GIMP/ PS. Simply get the video, load it from the beginning (or where you want it to start) Print screen + past into gimp/ps, press play then press stop (the frames will move a tiny bit) print screen + past again, do this over and over until the little movements are transferred. If the videos too big, you wont be able to resize the print screens (well you could but it would take ages to size it all right.) Well no actually, say the size is 1280x400, resize all layers to something like 300x100 (I don't know really) and they should all become the same size, but smaller, so no iffy moving about. Other than that method, I don't really know any other way.
♥ ЅϯᵲåώӀӞ℮ᴙʀɣ−ɴɨɨ−ƈħåɴ ♥
Using Print Screen is a terrible way to make animations. Take your video and use a program called Free Video to JPG Converter at DVDVideoSoft.com. Convert the frames you want into JPGs, and throw them into your GIF animator. But in all honesty, if you want a GIF animation with 100% 1:1 quality, you need to use ImageReady from Adobe. Not the newer Photoshops that include the Animation feature, the actual old-style animator from Adobe. CS, CS2, and (possibly, I don't know) CS3 may have it. I use ImageReady CS2, with my 1:1 quality settings.

Cin
I recommend FastStone Photo Resizer for conversions from JPG to GIF. I prefer the quality UnFreez gives in shorter animation than the results in Photoshop.
