[spoiler=Chapter One : Rats Where's my Rattata?][center]Pokémon Adventure!
Chapter 1: Rats where’s my Rattata?[/center]

Another brilliantly beautiful day in the city known as Viridian, with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze. All new trainers are attending school in the city – or at least they should be. Miss Beverley, the teacher from Viridian Trainer’s school, looked over her students as the sun rose on a new day. ‘Everyone's here except Samuel Oak and Jake Catchit. Well, Sam's been known to skip classes before but I just don't understand why Jake wouldn't be here. He’s usually earlier than the other students,’ She thought, giving a sigh that her A-grade student had yet to arrive. “Miss Beverley, my rattata! She's gone missing! I can’t find her!” Blurted out one of Miss Beverley’s students, who now looked like she was about to cry. “Well then we must go out and find her, come on class we have a missing Pokémon we must find it.” Announced Miss Beverley as the whole class gathered their Pokémon and rushed out the door.

Meanwhile just outside Viridian forest there are two trainers in the middle of a heated battle. “Now Vinnie use Quick Attack!” shouted one of the trainers. “Squirt, use Withdraw!” The other trainer shouted as both Pokémon collided. ‘Not even a scratch! If it weren’t for that withdraw it would have taken some sort of a hit-‘“Face it Jake, you’re little Pikachu can’t get through the defense of my Squirtle, your Pokémon may have the speed and type advantage over my Pokémon, but my Squirtle has the defense and the power over yours! Squirtle use Water Gun now!” “Vinnie use Quick Attack to dodge the attack!” but it was too late by the time Pikachu received his orders the Water Gun had already hit Pikachu at full force. “PIIKAA!” Vinnie cried from the force of the attack as it propelled Vinnie and collided with a nearby rock which did more damage to Vinnie than the attack would do normally.

“Vinnie!” Jake cried as he rushed over to his badly bruised Pokémon, he had lost the battle. “Ha! Face it Jake, you can’t beat me! I’m the son of the famous Blue Oak! And my Great Grandfather was the leading professor in Pokémon! I have the smarts in battle and Pokémon combined! You’re just nothing but Cats**t!” Jake was too busy caring for his Pokémon to listen to Sam’s ranting, which seemed to anger Sam. “Fine, if you’re not going to listen to me then I’ll just leave, I haven’t got time for losers like you, see tomorrow my father is going to give me a trainer card which allows me to take part in Gym Battles and League Matches! What are you going to do? Just cry about your weak Pokémon?” Those words Jake had listened too and clenched his fists. “SHUT UP! MY PIKACHU IS NOT WEAK! IF IT WEREN’T FOR THAT ROCK THIS BATTLE WOULD STILL BE CONTINUING!” Jake shouted at Sam. “You’re just a sore loser, come on Squirtle we’ve got bigger things to do then talk with these losers.” Samuel turned his back to the angered Jake and started walking off. Jake kneeled down at his fallen Pikachu and started to cry. “Just ignore those two jerks Vinnie, and these are just tears of joy because I know that next time we’ll beat those two!” Pikachu stood up and held a “V” sign with his fingers “Pi, Pikachu!” Vinnie replied and jumped on Jake’s shoulder both of them smiled despite losing badly.

After a few short minutes of walking Pikachu suddenly jumped from Jake’s shoulder and went straight into battle position. “Huh? Vinnie you sense a Pokémon nearby?” “Pika!” Vinnie replied as it stared right into a nearby bush. “You think it’s in that bush? Okay, use Thundershock!” The bush was hit by a powerful electrical shock which drew out a Pokémon from inside the bush. “A Raticate was hiding in that bush?” Jake sounded scared as the Raticate stared at both Pikachu and Jake; it had been angered by that attack. The Raticate started charging at Pikachu and hit it with a viscous Bite attack! “Vinnie!” Jake now sounded more worried than before he knew Pikachu was still weak from the battle before but he continued to fight it, this Raticate had to be stopped somehow.

“Vinnie use Quick Attack!” Pikachu jumped forward but wouldn't move any further he had flinched leaving him unable to avoid Raticate's powerful Hyper Fang attack! Pikachu was lucky as the attack had only just missed him by a few centimeters. “Phew, that was a close one Vinnie, now quickly use Thundershock!” Pikachu charged up for his electric attack when suddenly. “Chansey use Mega Punch!” shouted an elder woman’s voice; the Raticate received the powerful Mega Punch attack and fell to the ground. “Ratty!?” screamed a girls voice as she went over to the fallen Raticate. “Is that your Raticate?” Jake asked the younger girl. “Yes, here’s her collar I gave her when she was a Rattata I lost her, earlier she must have evolved and ran off being confused about her new appearance. “I’m sorry, I had to stop it with my Chansey, and you may be excused to go to the Pokémon Centre to heal it. You to Jake, your Pikachu seems badly beaten.” Jake picked up his Pikachu and walked towards the woman. “I’m sorry I was late Miss Beverley, I was walking towards class and Sam challenged me to a battle, then after the battle I was about to heal Vinnie but-“ “It’s okay I understand now go your Pikachu needs to be healed.” Miss Beverley interrupted Jake, who nodded and rushed to the Pokémon center.

[center]20 Minutes Later[/center]

“Thank you for waiting your Pokémon are now fully healed! Please come again.” Nurse Joy said happily and handed Jake his Pikachu who was now fully healed! “Pi, Pikachu!” Pikachu shouted happily. “I’m glad your Pikachu is better Jake. I’m really sorry my Raticate attacked it.” The girl from earlier apologized. “Its okay, the important thing is that both our Pokémon are healthy now.” Jake smiled as Pikachu jumped from his hospital bed and greeted Raticate. “You know Jake; I think you can become a great Pokémon trainer! I mean you treat your Pokémon with so much care, even if it loses most other trainers scold them for losing. This just isn’t fair in my opinion.” Jake turned and smiled at her. “Hey what can I say I just love Pokémon, right Vinnie?” Jake questioned Pikachu who held a “V” for victory sign in his hands. “Pika, pi!” the girl smiled at Pikachu’s hand sign, she thought it was cute. “That’s what I’m talking about. You know, my father is the current Pokémon professor, I was thinking both of us should go on an adventure together, my father is giving me a Trainer Card today and I would like you to come with me!” Jake and Pikachu smiled. “Sure! That would be awesome! We’d love to come with. Do you think he’d be able to give me a Trainer card? I want to become the League Champion before Sam does if I could get a Trainer Card today that could give me an edge over him!” Jake explained. “Sure thing! I don’t know if he has a spare card but we’ll see what we can do!” she turned and Jake followed her.

“Hey I forgot to ask, what’s your name? You’ve only just arrived at our school and I can’t remember it too well.” Jake asked her. “My name’s Cassidy Cypress, nice to meet you.” She smiled and offered a handshake. “My name as you know is Jake, Jake Catchit!” Jake smiled and accepted Cassidy’s handshake. “Well nice to meet you to Jake. Okay, let’s keep going Pallet Town isn’t much further.” Cassidy smiled and started running. “Last one there is a rotten egg.” She added. “Hey no fair you got a head start! Come on Vinnie!” Pikachu started running beside Jake and started catching up to Cassidy and Raticate.

“Woo! I win ha!” Cassidy shouted in acknowledgement and smiled with Raticate. “Yeah, I would have if I had a head start, we should have a fair race later.” Jake said. “Oh don’t be a sour puss Jake, anyway here’s my home, Pallet Town!” Jake looked around and can only see a few houses he looked at one of the houses and the sign outside said ‘Red’s house’ next to it had another house that said ‘Blue’s house’ Jake started shivering as he had heard about these two trainers. “So, where’s Red now-a-days?” Jake asked Cassidy. “You know, I don’t really know. Some say he’s out training somewhere, others say he’s gone missing again.” Cassidy opened the door to the research lab and heard shouts off laughter from both her father and someone else. “And some say I’ve gone missing again!” said the other person, Cassidy and Jake appeared shocked because they think they know who this person is. “Oh, Red I want you to meet my daughter Cassidy! And her friend?” Cassidy’s father noticed his daughter had just come in. Jake rushed up nervously and excitedly and greeted the professor and Pallet Town’s Red! “M-my name’s j-Jake n-n-nice to meet you!” Jake said nervously and shaked the professor’s hand. “Hey J-Jake! Awesome name you have there pal.” Red smiled and offered to shake Jake’s hand. “I’ve heard about you Red pallet town’s champion, I didn’t think you would be here! I thought you were somewhere else.” Jake sounded more laid back now. “Like out training or have gone missing? Well, I’ve decided that I’d just hang back at Pallet town and help Professor Cypress out with his research, or run the Gym while Blue’s elsewhere.”

“Ahem, do you want something young man?” Professor Cypress asked Jake. “Oh, yeah I have come here to get a Trainer Card; I would like to travel Kanto with your daughter.” Jake replied with seemed to anger the professor. “WITH MY DAUGHTER? WHAT YOU THINK YOU CAN HIT ON HER IF YOU TRAVEL WITH HER?” The professor shouted which embarrassed Cassidy. “DADDY!! I ASKED HIM TO COME ALONG WITH ME.” Cassidy shouted back at her father. “Oh, so that’s it. Well then if my daughter thinks you’re good to want to travel with her then I suppose it’s okay with me.” Jake smiled. “So, may I have a trainer card so I can take on the Pokémon League challenge?” Jake asked ask the professor nodded. “It just so happens that I have a spare one with me, so yes. But only if you two will take these pokedex’s and help with my research!” Jake nodded and agreed. “Absolutely.” “You’ve got your daughters word father.” Cassidy added. “I would like to add, don’t rely too heavily on them in battle. Because you may find yourself in a situation where you won’t have the pokedex’s to help you and you and your Pokemon could be in danger.” Red added as Jake and Cassidy received their Pokedex’s. “I understand!” Jake replied. “Now, with these pokedex’s you also get to choose one of these Pokemon Charmander, Bulbasaur or Squirtle, to help you in your adventure, so which one do you choose?” Professor Cypress asked. “I choose Bulbasaur!” Cassidy quickly replied. “And Jake?” Professor Cypress asked. “I choose Squirtle!” Jake replied. ‘Now it will be even Squirtle versus Squirtle in our next battle Sam!’ Jake thought.

“Okay, Cassidy here is your Trainer Card ready, but Jake I’ll need to ask you some questions to fill out your Trainer Card first question is what is your full name?” Professor Cypress asked. “Jake Catchit.” Jake replied. “What is your gender?” Professor Cypress asked as Jake thought Professor Cypress was blind. “Male.” Jake answered. “Last question what is your age?” Professor Cypress asked. “Eleven Years old.” Jake answered. “Okay, here’s your Trainer Card signed and finished!” Professor Cypress said as he handed over the Card. “Thank you so much!” Jake added. “Come on Jake let’s get going!” Cassidy said excitedly as she grabbed Jake’s shirt and dragged him out the door.

Nice fan fic. Very interesting start, in why Jake would choose Squirtle.

The adventure thing was kinda obvious to see coming.

“Do you really think they’ll be fine?” Red asked Professor Cypress after seeing Jake and Cassidy rush out the door “I’m sure they will, I mean you started your journey on your own when you where even younger than those two! I’m sure they’ll be fine Red.” Professor Cypress said confidently.

“Hey Cassidy why are you in such a rush? I wanted to talk with Red some more!” Jake asked Cassidy as they were by past Pallet Town and were already walking in the middle of Route 1. “Do you have any idea how embarrassing my father is to me?” Cassidy asked Jake “No.” Jake replied. “He’s like way too overprotective of me, just like before when he thought you were trying to go out with me!” “That’s what all parents are like, they’re skeptical and they jump to conclusions because they don’t know the full story of our lives yet. Just like after that when you told him it wasn’t as he thought it was.” Cassidy then looked back at Jake and Jake looked at Cassidy, both stared at each other for a few minutes, deadlocked in silence. “Well, I guess it doesn’t matter anymore it’s all in the past, and now I don’t have to worry about him because we’re on an adventure!” Cassidy said and smiled, she kneeled down to Raticate and pets it “Right Ratty?” She asked her Raticate who nodded in agreement and smiled back at her. Suddenly, Jake’s phone rang which immediately he picked it up and answered it “Yes? Oh, hello mom you want me to come home now? Is it okay if my friend stays over? You see we’re starting the league challenge together and we’re heading off tomorrow. Okay bye, see you soon!” Jake hang up his phone and turned his attention back to Cassidy, “It’s getting late we better hurry back home mom is making some dinner!” Jake smiled at Cassidy “Oh, thanks for the invitation sure I’d love to stay over.” Cassidy replied. “Last one there cleans the plates! Ready? Set, go!” Jake said and started running onward to Viridian City!

[center]10 minutes later.[/center]

“Well it’s a draw, so do both of us clean the plates?” Cassidy asked as both Jake and her feet reached Jakes home at the same time “Eh, let’s just get Mom to do it, she won’t mind.” Jake replied as he opened the door and saw the house was trashed! His draw dropped in horror as there were Pokémon and human footprints on the walls and on the floors, the backdoor had been kicked down and burned. “Listen lady, hand over your Pokémon or Houndoom here will burn the rest of this house down!” Shouted a person from the living room which Jake heard and rushed over to help “MOM!” Jake cried as he saw his mother on the floor protecting their Meowth. “Oh who’s this, a little brat?” the person in a black uniform asked as his attention now turned towards Jake and Cassidy. “Meowth use Scratch!” Jake’s mom shouted as she let go of Meowth so he could attack the intruder, but it failed as the Houndoom grabbed Meowth in its Jaw before it could attack its owner. “Well, it seems that my mission has been accomplished, nice house you all have here but now I must bid you ado Houndoom smokescreen now!” Houndoom released smoke from its mouth which in no time at all filled the room with dark black smoke, allowing the intruder and his Houndoom to escape.

[center]5 minutes later.[/center]

Soon the smoke had cleared and Jake started crying while clenching his fists over what had just happened, he rushed to his mother and settled her on the sofa that was nearby “Mom, are you okay?” Jake asked his near lifeless mother “*cough* I’m fine Jake really, I’m more concerned about your wellbeing and what how our Meowth is, the poor thing must be terrified now, curse those dreaded Team Rocket, I thought they were disbanded!” “Did you just say Team Rocket? I thought that Red made them disband three years ago!” Jake asked his mother in confusion. “Here I poured you a glass of water Mrs. Catchit!” Cassidy announced as she walked in with a glass of water. “Thank you dear, you must be Jake’s friend he was talking about, the one joining him on the league challenge?” Mrs. Catchit found it harder to speak as she was still coughing from the smoke. “Yes, my name’s Cassidy Cypress but please drink up and save your breath.” Mrs. Catchit drank the glass of water in little to no time at all, while Jake was looking down on the floor almost lifeless himself. “Jake, what’s wrong?” Cassidy asked. “… Those damned rockets aren’t going to get away with this … I’m going to kick their asses so hard they won’t be needing rockets to get into space!” Jake shouted much to the displeasure of his mother. “Jake! Please there’s no need for such strong language! Not while we have a guest here.” Mrs. Catchit said sounding a lot clearer than before. “Sorry mother, but I can’t just stand idle by and let these crooks get away with this.” Jake now filled with anger rushed outside of the house as Cassidy rushed off after him.

“Jake, wait! We don’t know how big these rockets are now, sure they’ve only just came back but they could be stronger than before! We need to think about this, we can’t just rush off into dangerous territory.” Cassidy shouted as she grabbed Jake’s shirt forcing him to stop. “Okay, then what do we do?” Jake asked Cassidy as he calmed down. “I don’t have a complete plan as of now, but I suggest we get some sleep and continue in our Gym Challenge, that way we can get strong enough to take the Rockets on.” Cassidy told Jake. “Okay, we’ll do that it’s a good thing that rocket didn’t destroy the whole house, it seems he only trashed the kitchen and the living room. That means the rooms upstairs should still be fine to sleep in.” Jake now had a smile on his face which made Cassidy and Mrs. Catchit smile as well.

It is yet another beautiful day in Viridian City, despite the events of the night before. “Okay, let’s head off next stop Pewter City Gym!” Cassidy shouted being excited as usual. “Why can’t we just take on the Viridian Gym Leader, Blue?” Jake asked sounding tired. “Apparently, he only takes on Trainers who have 7 badges already.” Cassidy replied which disheartened Jake. “Fine, let’s head off to Pewter City, Mom can you get the police to help with what happened last night?” Jake asked his mother, who was already typing the phone number to the police station. “I’m already on it Jake, good luck with your journey, be sure to come by every now and then too!” Mrs. Catchit said as Jake and Cassidy walked out the door.

[center]5 minutes later[/center]

“Okay, so in order to get to Pewter City, we must travel through Viridian Forest, we should stock up on antidotes incase our Pokémon become poisoned.” Cassidy plotted with Jake. “Yeah, we should stock up on Pokeballs as well so we can work on these pokedex’s while we’re at it!” Jake replied. “Well, well, well if it isn’t the biggest loser himself, Jake Cats**t!” A familiar voice shouted at Jake. “Well, if it isn’t the biggest douche I know, Samuel Oak!” Jake replied in a mockingly manner. “Oh, I am hurt, but not as hurt as your Pikachu after yesterday’s battle!” Samuel smirked as Pikachu jumped from Jake’s shoulder and started charging electricity from his cheeks “Pi, Pika!” Pikachu shouted at Sam “Oh I’m sorry Pikachu, but I don’t understand electric rat!” “Now calm down guys, there’s no need for a fight.” Cassidy interrupted standing between Pikachu and Sam. “Very well, I just stopped by to say that I’ve already been awarded my first Gym Badge, Tada! Viridian Gym Completed!” Sam smiled as he held his badge up high in Jake and Cassidy’s face. “Hold on a second, I thought you can only challenge Blue if you’ve won seven badges already!” Jake questioned as Sam smirked. “That’s true for most trainers however being the son of the Gym Leader himself has its perks!” “More like, STEALING the gym badge from the leader.” Sam’s smirked had dropped and now had a frightened look on his face “D-dad?” Sam looked backwards and saw his father Blue stare at him, with a disappointed look on his face. “How dare you, gloat about having a Gym Badge that you stole? That’s not the values I’ve taught you! If I would, I’d take that Trainer Card and Badge away from you and have the Pokémon League Headquarters punish you for your crime! But, as a loving father I am I will give you a second chance, I will take that badge from you but, you may challenge me when you have earned the other seven Gym Badges, and I ask that these two travel with you so you don’t try and steal any other badges understood?” Sam turned back at Jake and Cassidy then back at his father “Understood sir!” with that Blue took the badge from Sam and walked back towards his Gym.

“Oh great just what I need, these two losers following me slowing me down” Sam said unaware that they are standing next to him “Uh, we can hear you.” Cassidy said “He knows that Cassidy let’s just ignore him. I certainly don’t care if he steals badges and gets in trouble that’s his own damn fault.” Jake said and headed towards the Poke Mart, Sam just looked down at the ground as Cassidy looked on seeming worried about Sam. “Come on Jake, we can’t just let him sit there we should let him join us.” Cassidy told Jake, tugging on his shirt. “Why? He just calls us loser’s I say he deserves the punishment he gets.” “Oh come on give him a chance! He knows more about battling and Pokémon then anyone of us he could be an asset to our team.” Jake paused and looked over at Sam, who still hasn’t moved at all. “Well, what do you think Vinnie?” Jake asked Pikachu who looked at Sam for a bit, then raised his hand and gave Jake thumbs up. “Well that settles it Sam’s going to join us.” Cassidy and Jake turned and walked over to Sam “Come on Sam let’s get going.” Jake said and extended his hand which Sam pushed away and headed off towards the Poke Mart.

“Well, aren’t you two coming? We’ve got to get ready for Viridian Forest!” Sam turned back at Cassidy and Jake, who caught up to Sam and entered the Poke Mart together as a Team.

Change Jake's last name. It's just corny. Does he cry and make excuses every time he loses? I think Jake is too childish to be a Pokemon Trainer. Even Ash doesn't cry about his Pokemon getting beat up.

If find it weird that girl who he just met decides that she wants a person who she just met to go in a journey with him.

And I find this fanfic very cliche.

I think I remember in the first episode Ash cried when Pikachu was hurt from those spearows, I'm not completely sure about it. I wanted Jake to be really caring about his pokemon that's why he cried when Pikachu was hurt.

“So, we’ve got Antidotes, Potions, and Pokéballs, anything else?” Cassidy asked as she held the mentioned items in her arms. “Nope, I think that we’re good to go!” Jake replied enthusiastically “Onward to Viridian Forest!” Jake shouted pointing towards the direction of the forest, while Sam sighed. “Let’s just go through this forest and get to Pewter City, the quicker we finish the Gym’s means the less time I have to spend with you guys.” Sam with both hands in his pockets walked ahead out of the store as Jake and Cassidy looked on. “Still stubborn as usual, but he does make a good point the quicker we head off the less time we have to spend with him, come on Cassidy let’s go.” Jake blurted and they both followed after Sam.

“HEY KIDS! DO YOU WANT ME TO SHOW YOU HOW TO CAPTURE POKEMON?” shouted an old man who ambushed Jake, Sam and Cassidy as they were walking to the next route. “Oh, why yes please, [i]do [/i] show us how to.” Sam replied sarcastically which the elder couldn’t pick up on. “Alright, now the first thing ya have to do is, find a wild Pokémon to capture.” The old man moved his hand up onto his forehead searching for a wild Pokémon while Jake, Sam and Cassidy looked on. “RIGHT THERE!!! There’s a wild Caterpie! Now, uh could I use one of you as an assistant?” Cassidy raised her hand almost instantly while Jake and Sam didn’t seem too bothered to raise theirs. “Ah, good now send out your Pokémon and attack the Caterpie!” Cassidy sent in her Raticate to battle, however with its intimidating size over the Caterpie it seemed to have scared the Caterpie causing it to curl up into a ball trying to not to look at Raticate. “Aw, it’s scared of Ratty. Ratty you take a break; I’ll just use my other Pokémon.” With that Raticate moved behind Cassidy and headed over to Jake’s Pikachu and looked on with Pikachu. “Okay come on out Bulby!” Cassidy threw her Pokéball right near her feet and her newest Pokémon Bulbasaur came out of it! “Bul, Bulba!” He called out as he turned towards his new trainer. “Okay, Bulby use Tackle on the Caterpie!” Bulbasaur smiled back at Cassidy but instead of doing its orders, it walked up to the Caterpie and sat with it and decided to take a short nap.

“What? Bulby! Don’t go to sleep hit the Caterpie with Tackle!” But despite shouting louder, Bulbasaur still wouldn’t attack; it was still sleeping beside Caterpie. Caterpie looked as Bulbasaur was sleeping and decided now was the time to attack! It came out of its curled state and walked back a few meters readying its attack, and then it started picking up speed and hit Bulbasaur with a massive tackle! “Bululba!” Bulbasaur shouted as it was flown into the air from the force of the attack; Caterpie looked like it had a smile on its face and started to wiggle around in a dancing motion. ‘This is embarrassing.’ Cassidy thought as she face palmed. Caterpie was still dancing around which allowed Bulbasaur time to heal, now Bulbasaur looked angry he stepped back, aiming towards Caterpie and hit Caterpie with a tackle! Which sent it flying higher than what Bulbasaur was earlier! Caterpie fell down back to the ground and looked like it had been knocked out. “Whoa, that was some hit! Now take this Pokéball and throw it at the Caterpie!” the old man handed Cassidy a Pokéball which she threw immediately after receiving it. The Pokéball hit Caterpie square on its head and began rolling with Caterpie inside the Pokéball 1 roll, 2 rolls, PING! Caterpie was captured!

“And that’s how you capture a Pokémon!” the old man blurted out. “Okay, great let’s get moving.” Sam blurted and started walking forward, “Thank you.” Cassidy thanked the old man and then hurried off to catch up with Jake and Sam. ‘What a nice bunch of kids.’ The old man thought to himself as he watched them walk off.

Soon Jake, Sam & Cassidy arrived at the front of Viridian Forest, Jake and Cassidy appeared shocked at the sheer size of the entire forest. “Would you two stop sightseeing and hurry up?” Sam blurted at the two who hurried to catch up to him. “I know a shortcut, stay behind me and you two won’t get lost.” “Wait how do you know where the shortcuts are?” Jake blurted from behind, but there was no reply from Sam. “Well, let’s keep marching on.” Cassidy told Jake, as they moved forward.

“Sam stop we’ve been walking for what seems like hours, can’t we have a break?” Cassidy blurted out. “Humph, fine but we’re wasting valuable time here.” Sam mentioned and leaned on a nearby try as Jake and Cassidy sat down. “Phew, all this walking is exhausting.” Cassidy said relaxing on the grass. “Sure is.” Jake added as he looked into his backpack for some food. Suddenly a pack of Beedrills came out from the bushes “BEEDRILLS!” Jake and Cassidy screamed out “Shut up and duck you two!” Sam blurted and pushed them down. “They aren’t after us they’re flying away from something!” Sam whispered into Jake and Cassidy’s ears. “What could they be flying away from?” Cassidy asked Sam who was about to explain until Jake interrupted “Rockets!” Jake said clenching his fists as he saw a machine with the Team Rocket symbol on it.

“What would they be doing here though?” Cassidy questioned “Isn’t it obvious? They were after those Beedrill because they are a powerful bug type Pokémon.” Jake answered “Fu, fu, and fu you’re almost spot on there kid but you don’t have the full story!” a voice from inside the machine mentioned. “We’re not just after them for the power they poses, but for the poison with them!” the voice added “What do you plan to do with their poison? Show yourself coward!” Jake shouted at the machine “Fu, fu and fu you’ve got guts I’ll give you that but it’s not wise shouting out like that at a Team Rocket executive!” a man in Team Rocket uniform appeared on top of the Pokémon catching machine. “T-team Rocket Executive?” Cassidy said nervously “Yes, my dear a team rocket executive directly assigned to capture as much Beedrill as possible, for their poison. I feel just like a child in a candy store! Fu, fu and fu!” the Team Rocket Executive started laughing uncontrollably “Tell me now why do you need the Beedrills Poison?!” Jake repeated being annoyed and angered. “Oh, you don’t know the Legend about the Legendary Poison Type Pokémon, Drapion?” the rocket asked “Isn’t it that Ancient Drapion sealed away somewhere and its location will only be told if you gather one of every Poison-Type Pokémon and use its poison to destroy its tomb? Yeah I’ve heard about it.” Sam calmly blurted out

“Why yes young man that is the one I am talking about. But it’s not like you’ll be able to live to see its grand awakening! Such a shame to, oh well bosses orders are orders and a pay check is a pay check fu, fu and fu! Arcanine! Go!” the rocket grunt released an Arcanine from the machine which began attacking Jake, Cassidy and Sam! “Go Wartortle!” Sam shouted out and his newly evolved Wartortle came out of its Pokéball “You to Squirtle!” Jake released his Squirtle from its Pokéball which looked over to Wartortle and was in awe of its size. “Jake, does your Squirtle no any Water attacks?” Sam asked as Jake looked on “No, I only just received it yesterday!” Jake replied which left Sam confused. “Well then why did you bring it out against a much stronger opponent? Are you trying to say ‘Hey look I’ve got a Squirtle like you’? Well honestly I couldn’t care less at a time like this.” Squirtle looked on as his trainer just received a lecture, which seemed to anger Squirtle, suddenly Squirtle moved his head backwards, moved it forward and unleashed a Bubble attack firing towards the Arcanine. “Wait, he does know a Water attack! Bubble!” Jake blurted out as Sam looked on “Humph, we might just make it out of this one, now we must work together, when I tell Wartortle to use Water Gun you tell Squirtle to use Bubble alright?” Jake nodded and Sam smirked “Okay, Wartortle use Water Gun!” “Squirtle, use Bubble!” both Trainers ordered their Pokémon to attack and both hit Arcanine right on the head direct hit! The Arcanine fell down knocked out from the attack.

But it turns out the Arcanine was only a distraction for the Rocket to escape as when Jake, Sam and Cassidy looked on both Rocket and Machine had disappeared! “Well it seems this Pokémon was just released when he sent it into battle, let it be.” Sam explained after checking up on the fallen Arcanine. “We can’t just abandon it like this, we have to help it.” Jake blurted at Sam “The Potion won’t work, it’s fainted.” Cassidy said as she tried to use a potion on the Arcanine. “Well what do you want me to do?” Sam questioned as Jake looked at him “Catch it!” Jake shouted at Sam “I can’t its fainted; you can’t capture Pokémon when they’ve fainted.” Sam told Jake “Do we have any revives on hand?” Cassidy asked as Sam reached into his backpack and sighed “I do have a revive, but I was planning on using it on my own Pokémon but seeing as you two won’t budge unless that Arcanine is revived, then I suppose I have to use it.” Sam used revive on the Arcanine, which caused it to wake up from its fainted state suddenly the Arcanine jumped on Sam causing him to fall. “Ew-ew-ew get it off its licking me!” Sam cried as he struggled to get it off while Jake and Cassidy started giggling. “STOP FRIGGEN LAUGHING AND GET IT OFF ME!” Sam shouted as the Arcanine hopped off from Sam, it looked and smiled at Sam who was now annoyed at it. “I think it wants you to capture it Sam.” Jake said as he looked at the Arcanine who wouldn’t keep its eyes off Sam. “FINE I’LL CATCH IT AND STORE IT IN THE BACK OF THE PC SO I’LL NEVER HAVE TO SEE IT AGAIN!” Sam shouted out, which seemed to anger the Arcanine as it hit Sam with a Flame Wheel attack burning but not severely burning Sam. “OW-OW-OW-OW THAT’S IT WARTORTLE RAPID SPIN!” Sam ordered Wartortle who carried out its orders hitting Arcanine with a powerful Rapid Spin attack Sam threw a Pokéball as hard as he could at the fallen Arcanine 1 roll, 2 rolls, 3 rolls, PING! Arcanine has been captured!

“Right now let’s get out of this godforsaken forest!” Sam stormed off out of anger as Jake and Cassidy followed giggling annoying Sam.

There are a few gramtical errors in your writing, but they a minor and can be fixed.

As I remember, Drapion is not a legendary pokemon but you can say it is. Your call, but pokemon ravers might be all mad an stuff.

You're not breaking the text every time someone talks.

The wind blows gently across the faces of Jake, Sam and Cassidy as they look onward, in the distance they can see another city only known as Pewter City. “Finally we made it out of the forest!” Jake announced as he stretched his arms out in front of him as Pikachu yawned. “For once, I agree with you Jake I hope I never have to go through that place again!” Sam added, looking onward towards Pewter City “Alright let’s keep going Pewter City should only be about ten minutes away if we walk, five minutes if we run.” Sam calmly spoke “Well let’s get going onward to Pewter City!” Jake optimistically pointed towards Pewter City smiling as Pikachu imitated him. “I’m going to ask you to stop doing that.” Sam shrugged “Doing what?” Jake asked curiously “Saying ‘onward to’ whatever town is up next, seriously it’s getting really old.” Sam replied “Hey guys look a Pidgey!” Cassidy interrupted as she pointed towards a Pidgey. “Does it look like we care?” Sam asked turning his head towards Cassidy. “I do because I’m gonna catch it!” Jake replied looking toward the Pidgey suddenly picking up intensity the Pidgey looked at Jake with a confused look.

“Okay Vinnie get ready for a battle!” Jake ordered Pikachu as Pikachu went into battle position “Pi, Pikachu!” Pikachu replied as the Pidgey now focused its attention on Pikachu, both Pokémon are now staring at each other with fierce intensity. “Vinnie use Thundershock!” Jake commanded as Pikachu unleashed a bolt of electricity heading in the Pidgey’s direction ‘Z-z-z-zap!’ the sound from Pikachu’s Thundershock had hit Pidgey causing it to fall to the ground nearly unconscious but still able for capture. “Pokéball go!” Jake shouted as he threw a Pokéball at the Pidgey it hit its head and started rolling 1 roll, 2 rolls, 3 rolls PING! Pidgey had been captured! “Okay you caught the Pidgey congratulations can we get going now?” Sam asked growing impatient Jake nodded in agreement and they headed off towards Pewter City.

“Yawn, it’s getting late we should find somewhere to stay the night.” Yawned Cassidy as they entered Pewter City. “Yeah, it’s getting late and I doubt the Gym Leader will accept challenges during the night.” Jake agreed “Well then if that’s the case we best try and find the Pokémon Center that’s the only place in every city that trainers can just show up and rest for the night.” Sam added and started leading in a direction “Hey wait where are you going?” Jake asked as Sam paused and turned his head back at Jake “Isn’t it obvious? I’m going to find the Pokémon Center you should follow me unless of course you want to sleep in the cold street floor.” Jake and Cassidy stared at each other for a few seconds then nodded in agreement to follow Sam they thought his idea was better than sleeping on the street.

“Alright time to get my first Gym Badge!” Jake shouted enthusiastically as he clinched his fists. “I do hope you plan on getting fully changed before going outside, I don’t want to be seen out in public with another guy that’s half naked.” Sam blurted as he turned his head to his side, now looking at a changing room which Cassidy walked in earlier. “On the other hand I wouldn’t mind it at all if Cassidy was by my side half naked in public.” Sam blurted out being unaware that Cassidy was eavesdropping while in the change room. “Of course you would you pervert!” Cassidy shouted. “Way to go Sam, now she’s going to be pissed off at us all day!” Jake told Sam as he put his shirt on. “What? All I did was make a compliment on her appearance, geez I can’t even be nice without you two being angry at me.” Sam pouted as he moved his hands into his pockets. “Okay I’m dressed are you guys done?” Cassidy announced waiting for a reply. “Yes.” Jake and Sam replied at the same time. Seconds later Cassidy walked out the door wearing a Green dress, with White shoes and socks. “Wow, you look great!” Jake complimented, with his eyes staring at Cassidy. “So what’s the occasion?” Sam asked suspiciously. “I’m wearing this dress because today is the day I’m going to win my first Gym Badge! I want it to be special like a wedding or a New Years Eve party!” Cassidy replied. “Well then we best be off and make that moment become a reality.” Sam smirked then looked at Jake who seemed paralyzed by Cassidy. “Jake are you coming?” Sam asked as Jake snapped out of his paralysis “Ah yeah you know it! Let’s go onward to Pewter City Gym!” Jake shouted as he pointed towards the door. “I thought I told you to quit doing that.” Sam frowned and pointed at Jake almost imitating Jake’s point.

The trio of trainers arrived at the Pewter City Gym it was a large round building with the words ‘GYM’ above its door. Jake walks up to the door and tries to open it with all his might but it won’t budge. “Man the doors so hard to open, you can bet the Gym Leader will be as strong if not stronger than this door!” Jake puffed as he wiped sweat from his forehead. “Or maybe it’s because I don’t know maybe the door is locked?” Sam pointed towards a note on the door. “What it was locked? Why didn’t you tell me earlier?” Jake rushed up to Sam. “I was going to tell but I thought it would be much more fun to see you try and open a locked door.” Sam replied and smirked as Jake was now more furious than he was moments ago. “So what does that note say?” Cassidy asked sounding curious. “I didn’t read it.” Sam replied taking the note off and handed it to Cassidy and Jake who read it.

“Aw that’s romantic we should check that out!” Cassidy blurted out as she held her hands together smiling. “No, no, no, no, no!” Sam blurted out repeatedly as he started stomping his feet in anger. “Wow, you’re so angry for no reason at all.” Jake mentioned. “OH YOU’RE THE ONE TO TALK YOU GOT ANGRY BECAUSE YOU COULDN’T OPEN A DOOR!” tension rose between Jake and Sam as both trainers looked like either one could strike the other first, panicky Cassidy looked at both trainers. “Guys, guys please calm down! I don’t want you two to fight!” Cassidy shouted which oddly made Jake and Sam calm down the instant Cassidy finished her sentence, suddenly there was a cold silence. “Fine we’ll go check the wedding out there’s nothing else to do anyway.” Sam announced then began walking away from the group. “Well are you two coming or not?” Sam stopped and asked and waited not for very long as Jake and Cassidy started walking towards Sam.

Pewter City central park a common destination for any occasion! Today is no exception as it serves as Gym Leader Brock and Nurse Joy’s wedding reception! Many of the townspeople have gathered to celebrate this event. “OH MY GOD THERE’S A WEDDING CAKE!!” Jake shouted and pointed at the huge white wedding cake on a table with other food beneath it, within minutes Jake’s face is up close to the wedding cake. “Hello mister and miss wedding cake prepare to be devoured!” Jake taunted the wedding cake as he and Pikachu’s faces started to look sinister. Within minutes Jake and Pikachu gulped down all of the cake until there was none of it left. “HEY WHO ATE ALL THE CAKE?” One of the people shouted. “WHAT NO MORE CAKE?” Another person shouted “I’M GONNA KILL WHOEVER ATE THE CAKE!” Suddenly all the townspeople crowded around Jake who had icing from the cake still around his mouth. “Uh, the cake was a lie?” Jake announced wiping off the icing from his mouth. “Huh? What’s going on here that’s caused all this commotion?” a female voice questioned within the crowd. “THIS HERE KID ATE ALL THE WEDDING CAKE.” One of the townspeople pointed at Jake answering the question. “But I told you the cake was a lie!” Jake repeated which only seemed to anger the townspeople and embarrass Sam and Cassidy who both face palmed at the same time. “Oh really now is that such a big of a deal?” The voice replied, her face was now visible for Jake to see as her head popped out from the crowd. “Come on everyone leave this boy, he didn’t know any better did you?” the woman said as she offered her hand to Jake. “No Nurse Joy.” Jake grabbed Nurse Joy’s hand and was helped lifted up from the ground, as this happens the crowd of people begin to separate, some still stay for the rest of the wedding while some other people leave the park and head off home.

“JOY MY DARLING ARE YOU OKAY?!?!” A man’s voice shouted. “Yes Brock I’m just fine.” Nurse Joy smiled at Brock. “DON’T LOOK AT ME ITS BAD LUCK FOR BRIDE AND GROOM TO LOOK AT EACH OTHER BEFORE THEY’RE MARRIED!!” Brock shouted as he turned his head to the side, trying to avoid looking at Joy. “Oh Brock I’m sure we’ll be just fine you don’t have to avoid me.” Joy shouted and Brock looked on and saw Jake holding hands with Joy. “WHAT’S THIS? YOU’RE HOLDING HANDS WITH SOMEONE YOUNGER?!?!?! WHAT’S THIS ALL ABOUT JOY?” Brock shouted frequently pointing between Jake and Joy. “Oh stop being so paranoid Brock; I was just helping him from the guests.” Brock seemed to calm down now and sighed out of relief. “Phew thank goodness it’s only that.” Brock looked on and noticed Jake had Pokéballs around his waist “So you’re a rookie trainer huh? I suppose you want to battle with me soon huh?” Brock mentioned. “Ah yeah could we have a battle now please?” Jake asked Brock. “Sure thing! A battle could calm me down.” Brock replied smiling and laughing “Hey don’t forget about me!” Cassidy shouted “Or me.” Jake added. “Oh seems like a 3 on 1 situation that sounds good okay I’ll battle you three at once! If you win you all get Badges!” Brock announced. “Sounds good to me bring it on!” Jake agreed and he, Sam and Cassidy lined up side by side facing off at Brock.

“Go Geodude, Onix and Cubone!” Brock shouted as three brown colored Pokémon appeared out of their Pokéballs two of the Pokémon were about the same size while the middle Pokémon looked like a Giant Rock Snake. Jake and Cassidy looked overwhelmed at the size of the Rock Snake Pokémon while Sam remained as calm as ever. “Guys these Pokémon are Rock and Ground type Pokémon we’re best of sending out our Grass and Water Pokémon in this battle.” Sam mentioned as he grabbed his Pokéball which contained his Wartortle “Go Wartortle!” Sam threw his Pokéball and his Wartortle appeared. “Go Squirtle!” “Go Bulby!” Jake and Cassidy shouted at the same time as both Pokémon appeared from their Pokéballs. “Ah, using type weakness to your advantage good idea and all, but that’s useless if your Pokémon aren’t strong enough to match with mine!” Brock mentioned “Bulby use Leech Seed on Onix!” “Squirtle use Bubble on Onix!” “Wartortle aim your Water Gun on Onix” Jake, Sam and Cassidy ordered their Pokémon to attack, Wartortle hid in its shell and began spinning rapidly in mid air. Bulbasaur successfully planted a seed in Onix which started sapping life from it and Squirtle’s Bubble attack hit the plant that was growing on the Onix making the growing process faster. “Nice combo you’ve got there but it’s not going to work! Cubone use Headbutt on Wartortle!” Cubone lowered its head and charged itself with full force at Wartortle! SMASH there was a collision between both Pokémon Wartortle came out of its shell and had pain on its face.

“Wartortle shake it off and go for another Water gun!” Sam commanded as Wartortle hid back in its shell and started spinning again increasing its power. “Jake Cassidy I need you two to hold off his Cubone and Geodude long enough so I can finish off his Onix!” Sam shouted at Jake and Cassidy who were already busy with Cubone and Geodude. “Squirtle use Bubble!” Jake commanded as Squirtle opened its mouth and unleashed an abundance of bubbles around Cubone. “Bulby use Tackle!” Cassidy commanded as Bulbasaur stood back and aimed a Tackle at Geodude. “Now Wartortle fire away!” Sam commanded as Wartortle unleashed a powerful Water Gun attack at Onix, the blast hit it direct on its head! The Onix fell to the ground it seemed that victory was theirs! “I wouldn’t celebrate just yet, look!” Brock grinned as his Onix slowly rose up. “Whoa what power!” Jake was shocked the attack didn’t finish Onix off, suddenly Onix fell to the ground again this time it was knocked out, which confused Brock, Jake and Sam. “Huh, what happened?” Brock questioned as he went on to check on his fallen Onix. “He he don’t you remember? My Bulby’s Leech Seed it must have just been enough to knock out your Onix!” Cassidy giggled as she went on to pat Bulbasaur. “Well nice job, I completely forgot about the leech seed from earlier, good strategy weakening my Onix with Water Gun as Leech Seed finished it, congratulations trainers! The three of you have each won the Boulder badge!” Brock smiled as he gave Badges out to Jake, Sam and Cassidy.

Jake looked down at his Badge that was in his hands, his eyes were sparkling and full of joy like when a child receives what it wanted for Christmas or a birthday. “Awesome, my first Gym Badge!” Jake held the badge in between his thumb, middle and index fingers and held it up in the sky. “Uh, Jake what exactly are you doing?” Sam asked “I’m posing what the hell you think I’m doing?” Jake replied staring at his badge “Being a complete retard...” Sam whispered to himself.

“Anyway we better stock up for the next part of our journey Cerulean City!” Cassidy blurted out. “In order to get there you kids need to go through Mt. Moon it’s quite dangerous even for kids like you, would you like me to guide you through?” Brock asked “Sure it wouldn’t hurt and with you guiding us we could get through faster than expected!” Jake replied enthusiastically. “Count me in too I wouldn’t mind going shopping in cerulean!” Nurse Joy blurted out. “But don’t you have to look after the Poke Center?” Brock asked worryingly “Oh it will be fine, I’m not the only one looking after it you know!” Nurse joy replied. “Okay then let’s get going it would be good to get to Cerulean before nightfall.” Sam announced and started heading off to Route 3. “Well let’s get going then!” Jake blurted out and they all began following Sam.
