CMRenji
This is a 1 on 1 for my tournament: Realistic VS Pop Culture Tournament. iSmesh! and Zextra are competing in this match. [spoiler=iSmesh!'s Card/Realistic] This card cannot be Special Summoned except by its own effect. You can Special Summon this card from your hand by discarding 5 cards from your hand to the Graveyard. If you Special Summon this card, Spell and Trap cards can only be activated by paying 500 Life Points. Once per turn you can flip a face-down card face-up. If it is a Spell or Trap card, it is not activated unitil the owner activates it. If it is a monster, flip effects are not activated at this time. [spoiler=Zextra's Card/Pop Culture] 1 WATER Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner monstersThis card's Type is also treated as Sea Serpent. When this card is successfully Synchro Summoned, you can place 1 Tidal Veil Counter and 1 Tidal Wave Counter on this card for each non-Tuner monster used for the Synchro Summon of this card (max.5 for both). During either player's Damage Step, you can discard 1 WATER monster to increase this card's ATK by half the ATK of the discarded monster until the End Phase. When this card destroys a monster by battle, you can discard a card to place 1 Tidal Veil Counter or 1 Tidal Wave Counter on this card. As long as this card has 3 or more Tidal Veil Counters on it, you can negate the effects of cards your opponent controls that target or destroy one or more WATER monsters you control. Once per turn. when this card has 3 or more Tidal Wave Counters on it, you can destroy 1 monster on the field and inflict damage to both players equal to the Level of the destroyed monster x200. You can remove 5 Tidal Veil Counters from this card to Special Summon a Level 8 or lower WATER monster from your Hand or Deck. You can remove 5 Tidal Wave Counters from this card to destroy all Spell and Trap Cards your opponent controls. Draw 1 card for each card destroyed this way. You can Tribute this card with 5 Tidal Veil Counters and 5 Tidal Wave Counters on it to destroy all cards on the field and inflict damage to your opponent for each card destroyed by this effect x500. During each of your End Phases, send 2 WATER monsters from your Deck to your Graveyard. If you do not, destroy this card and take damage equal to half the ATK of this card. While this card is in your Graveyard, you can Tribute 2 WATER monsters to Special Summon it in face-up Defense Position with its effect negated. First to 5 Votes wins. Votes MUST have good reasons(I like the pic better isn't acceptable).
Zextra
Is there a voting criteria that the voters should follow?
CMRenji
The criteria are just the usual. The voters should vote on OCG, Balance, etc. But just saying "I vote for the card with the cool pic" is won't cut it.
John A. Zoidberg
I'm gonna of to go with Zex. It's more creative, more original, and looks purrty.Even though I don't really like pokemon, Zex gmv.

Spoon
Vote for Zextra. This effect is evil... unlike Lugia though :P It's complex, but very well thought out, with drawbacks and 2 different Counters, an effect that actually fits that character. And even though it's an effect that complex and powerful, it still manages to somehow being balanced (Ha... me saying that... stupid). Point for creativity goes here as well. Smesh's card is a lot shorter, but I certainly like the effect. Picture isn't that good though, and it just doesn't have that wow effect that Zextra's card gave me when looking at the effect. Serenity the Candyman
Good thing Zex's is on the pop culture side because that effect isnt realistic as to the length. After reading both cards effects, Smesh's card is simple, to the point and works wellZex's I have to give it to you. Uniqueness and the complexicity of this card may seem to overwell someone but really it like a pokemon battle. It starts slows and as you figure out the weakness's of your opponent. I vote for Zex
