The dark tendrils wrapped themselves around Samuel and lifted him into the air, squeezing his torso painfully..."Metzu Sorygan", Kurai breathed, commanding the tendrils to trap Samuel. "I...Got you now...Child of sin...", Kurai huffed, he was using too much energy, his energy was squeezed out of him earlier thanks to Samuel's attacks. Kurai looked at the girl (Morgan) and said, "...Rip my white ribbon in two...And tie the other half around his staff...", he was reffering to his white ribbon that was laying on the floor...

And the other guy can use 'pick up and squeeze' magic. Why do I always have to deal with these people? And come to think of it, she continued, her hand already halfway toward the ribbon, why should I do what they say. Slowly, she lifted the ribbon and examined it. It didn't seem unusual, and she loosely mimed the movements needed to tear it. Then she stopped, reached for her own staff, and brought it to bear before unleashing a widespread blast of very high pressured water which smashed into both of the boys.

"Now, maybe you can stop fighting and feeding me stories about how evil the other one is at tell me the truth," she snapped at them as the water died down.

Kurai yelled in pain, he was a fire user and was easily brused by water magic, he got up and explained everything to her, "My arcane friend sensed evil energy emmiting from this guy, he embarrased me infront of the whole academy and so I sat on the roof and waited for him, I made sure he would come up here to battle me by untieing the ribbon around my staff. Doing so unleashed my dark magic and released tendrils of dark power all around the academy...", he gave Samuel a dark look and continued speaking, "...He came up here and I challenged him to a wizard duel, announcing my heritage as the son of the Corrupt Arcane Shura. He took a cheap shot at me and cursed me so I can't say his name...", Kurai looked at Morgan, "...He's the evil one, Not me..."

"What sort of moron do you two take me for?" Morgan retorted as the water drained away, her eyes shifting from one to the other, "you're both the same: 'He's whoever's kid,' 'he's evil,' 'he summoned this,' 'he cursed me.' Both of you use dark magic, so what makes you so different? For all I know the two of you are working together on whatever it is you want to do, and you're only acting as enemies to trick me. If one of you can use dark magic and not be evil, why can't the other? Idiots," she muttered, still holding the trident in front of her, ready to unleash another wave should either of them try anything.

Oh god. "Child's play is over!" Samuel chanted some arcane words, so loud they echoed throughout the whole sky. The only one who could hear them, though, was his staff. The closed eye sprung open once more, and this time two wings popped out to each side of the staff. The eyeball lifted itself in the air. It hit the ground, and the tentacles began to crawl out of the eye and formed a body. The sucking sound it let out made Samuel chuckle. After the body was fully formed, the thing stood on all fours, alike a feral dog with a single eye. "This is Jeriga's -or should I asy Agirej's?- true form." "Feel proud to see this form, you two. No one's seen it for at least a thousand years ahhhahahahaha!" Agirej let a lunatic laugher. The girl didn't even blink. "Now, now. Allow me to explain what just happened", Samuel said while raising the Hexagonal Obsidian in his staff, which had replaced the eyeball. "You see, Agirej is not actually my staff, but a little 'something' I created a while ago. While attacked to my staff, I can see into the past, present OR wherever I choose in this miserable world." "While not, however;" Agirej continued the sentence, "I am a spearate being. I can cast Spells on my own. And the best part is, you can't kill me." "There is only one weak point to this Spell, which is the time limit. I can only maintain Agirej's true form for a period of three minutes, starting from when it first moves. Why am I explaining this to you, you're wondering? That is because, I must first explain her uses and disadvantages for her to be able to move. That said, go for her!" Agirej let out a roar and charged towards the Water Mage. Samuel heard the girl cast a Spell, but Agirej had silenced her with a quick shockwave Spell. "Ah, Agirej. You crazy old hag. You know Shockwave doesn't work on water casters, don't you?" "What?" Agirej had stopped in her tracks, as a water sliced through her as if she were spaghetti. As both pieces fell to the floor, they re-connected and shrunk back into the eyeball, which placed itself back into Samuel's staff. "Now, now. Should we be leaving, Kurai? She has discovered us..." He wasn't even looking at Kurai. His mistake.

The staff is alive? Morgan though, careful not to betray her surprise. Well, she decided, I can probably rule him out as an ally, as she fired another blast of water at the staff-creature rushed towards her. The creature had it's own magic, which shot forwards into her before she could even cast, which was somewhat of a surprise to her, since even though she could only cast a few spells she always cast them silently, meaning few enemies would be able to pre-empt her casting. Whatever the magic was though it didn't do anything to her, and her own counter attack bisected the thing, which retreated back to it's eye-on-staff form.

So he seems rather evil, or at least unpleasant, she decided, holding her trident up at him, now, let's see what the other one will do.

Kurai picked up his staff and got ready to fight him, "You, Morgan is it? I need you to trust me, got that?", Kurai was probably asking the impossible, he had a feeling that she wont co-operate...Kurai turned his attention to Samuel, "And just because we are both Dark users, I'm different from you! So don't talk to me as if you're a friend! Metzu Pyros!!", Dark flames surrounded Kurai, making some sort of flaming black cocoon, dark fire tendrils erupted from the cocoon and charged towards Samuel...

Morgan sifted one eye to watch this boy, the other still paying careful attention to the other one. Since that one had shown himself to be antagonistic, Morgan realised that he wasn't likely to be trust-able. The other boy was now asking for her trust. She still wasn't certain about that - after all, he did admit to using, and was now demonstrating, dark magic, which people kept telling her was dangerous and only used by evil. Still, she didn't have a lot of options. "I don't trust you," she told the boy, "but I will listen to you. One thing though. How do you know my name? I didn't tell either of you what it was."

Good. A smart-ass. If it goes on like this, I'll have to wipe their memory out of their heads...
"C'mon, Morgan, I told you already. My Agirej allows me to look into the past and future; which means I can perfectly know all about your life in a few minutes. So, It's not a surprise Kurai knows it. He collaborated to create Agirej... haven't you noticed how she resembles Kurai's powers?" After that, Samuel turned his head towards the incoming tendrils. His staff impaled one of them, adn Samuel once more cast a Spell. "Hygotsu"
The tendril was electrified with a Dark lightning, which made its way to the fire cocoon and to the other tendrils. They all dissolved.
"See? We just play; but if we ever cross paths again; I'll allow Agirej to reach her time limit. I'll see you down there, Kurai." Samuel flickered a weak smile.
I'm tired of smiling.
Right after it, Samuel turned, gave a few steps towards the stairs, and stopped dryly. "Ah, Morgan;" Samuel turned around; "Reigo Derha!" A beam of Dark purple light shot from Agirej's eye and landed directly between her eyes. "There. As far as you know, these are the first words I've ever addressed to you. He then raised his Staff. He teleported with the same flash of light which took him up.

Now he was back in the door of the lounge.

One or both of them are lying, but how can I figure out which it is, she thought furiously. Yes, he can know, but the it was the other who got my name. If they are collaborating they could have conferred, but he could have found my name out some other way, or even just guessed it right. Whatever the case, I really can't trust either of them. This is too dangerous right now, and I have to get out of it, but how? And now he's going on about this all being an act, right after I raise the possibility that that's the case. Does he really think that if he claims my suspicions are correct I'll just believe him. Wait, now what's he doing? What is... she raised her trident to counter the dark beam, but couldn't act in time. As the beam stuck her head, her thoughts seemed to start to slip away from her. Memory manipulation...No, I will not forget...forget?...I remember...SELIA DENDIO...huh?

"As far as you know, these are the first words I've ever addressed to you."

What? Who is he? Why would he have spoken to me before? Unless...

"What did you do?" she demanded, but he had already gone.

Ah, I think I'll get a little chat with Swaddo. Could you, Agirej? ...Fine. But make it quick.
Samuel raised his eye-orb to his face; while the figure of Swaddo's face appeared to be shaped in it. "Report, Swaddo." "Nothing to report, sssir. ...Except a single one Flameghoul passed onto the other dimenssion..." "Yes, I saw it. Cane got rid of it in a second. I can hear him yelling; looking for the responsible... the crazy old bastard." "Now, sssir; how are thingssss going there?" "Pretty swiftly, really. I got discovered twice already. I've fixed it, though. A Mind Crush and a Torture Spell. Pretty soon I'll make my move on Cane and this whole damned -"

Samuel felt a hand on his shoulder. Hard.

Kurai was silent, Samuel still threatend the overall safety of the academy...He turned to assist Morgan, Samuel had cast a spell on her...Standing next to her, Kurai started to take off his coat. "Don't move, I need you to be as still as possible!", Kurai ordered the older girl, his coat now completely off. Kurai closed his eyes and started chanting, "Dracos Gaura Hibu Dracos Gaura...", as he chanted this, the tatoo on his chest began to move. Kurai grabbed Morgans arm just as the tatoo approached Kurai's hand, it crawled onto Morgan's arm and bit her flesh...

Morgan was still somewhat confused. Her mind was still trying to find some memory of that person, to explain what he'd said, and yet another part had already worked out that the fact that he said those words meant that anything he had said to her before was probably gone. Unless he was from the future and had met a future version of her - which was just ridiculous - then he'd made her forget something. This wasn't the first time something like this had happened. More than once she'd found herself suddenly looking at some person she'd never seen before. At least this one wasn't dead.

Deep in thought, she didn't notice the other boy approach and do something to his tattoo.
Until it bit her.
"Owch!" she yelled, jumping away from him, "what was that for!"

Kurai jumped back, he expected this reaction, "Sorry, I was using my Dark Arcane bloodine magic, the tatoo on my chest is alive you see...", the tatoo moved back into it's original spot, curling up around the boy's torso. Kurai continued, "...If it bites someone a minute after being affected by a curse, they're cured. My dad, Shura the Rouge Arcane, has a much larger time limit to do this...", Kurai grabbed his coat and wrapped it around his body, he turned around and asked, "Are you feeling better?"

Snap! Someone discovered me!
Samuel snapped his fingers, and his middle and index finger caught purple fire. He quickly motioned his arm as to slice off the person behind him in half. To his surprise, there was no one behind him. He then noticed the hand was still on his shoulder. Screw you Agirej! Stop doing that! Heh, why should I? It's much too fun.
The purple, tentaclish hand twisted and became many tentacles, which then reverted into one and back to the lower tip of Samuel's staff.
Now to business. It seems the Fire Kid is trying to cure the curse from the Water Kid. That can't be good. Agirej's eye revealed the little act. Samuel gave a little chuckle. You remember Shura's power, right? The Dragon tattoo? Well, you should also remember it couldn't cure my curses. You should worry not, Agirej. Her memory won't come back. In fact, I might as well go back and haunt her later. For now, I'm much too hungry. Say what? This body apparently requires fuel. That fuel is food. I'll have some.
Samuel lowered Agirej, and got back into the lounge.

Morgan was still very confused, although at she was more aware of what was happening around her, including the other person on the roof. "I don't really know," she replied, "because I don't know how I was feeling before. I remember coming up those stairs, and then I was already here and that other guy was saying how what he was saying would be the first thing I heard him say or something. Wait, I remember, you two were talking whilst I was coming up here." Suddenly she turned, and in a swift move grabbed the front of Kurai's coat and raised her trident to the boy. "He's your friend, isn't he? What did he do?"

Dammit! She lost too much memory..., "First off, he's not my friend, second...He used a memory affecting curse on you, you won't be able to remember a good chunk of the events that took place...", Kurai sighed, he hung his head in guilt, he should've been faster. "I'm...Sorry...", ...I'm going to fail my dad...

All around the academy, the dark tendrils vanished, returning to Kurai's staff quietly and quickly...

"He did what?" Morgan asked, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. "If I see him again..." She couldn't finish her though, but a blast of water shot from her trident and only just missed the fire mage. Still, she couldn't help but feel very slightly relieved. At least it wasn't me this time, she thought, keeping the thought to herself. "Oh, how rude of me, I never thanked you for trying to help anyway, and I didn't even introduce myself. Wait, did I? Oh whatever, my name's Morgan," she said, sticking out her hand, "and who are you then?"

Kurai stared at the hand infront of him for a second, "...My name is Kurai Flame, son of Shura the Fallen One...", Kurai shook the hand infront of him. The boy was glad, was he going to be friends with Morgan? He didn't know, all that mattered was that she didn't hate him for what he failed to do. "So, I can already tell, you study water magic don't you? The polar opposite to my fire magic...", Kurai smirked alittle, holding his staff in his grip...

"Yes, I study water magic, or it might be more accurate to say I use water magic. I haven't really studied anything, at least not yet; what I know is almost like instinct really," Morgan explained, slightly hesitantly, concerned that what she said might put the boy off, or he might mention it to someone else. "I found this staff amongst all the clutter in my family's home, and since then I've been able to use water magic much more than I could before, even when I don't use the staff. Don't tell anyone else though, because they might want it for themselves, or if the staff found out they might not want me here."

[OOC: I'm giving Morgan a new background, which makes her less normal, but she still has the normal family, and she herself doesn't know she's not normal]

"I doubt it, pretty much all of the students here are special in there own way, some practise Fire, Wind, Some even practise the Arcane arts! I doubt anyone will want to get stronger dishonestley here, other than...That Guy...", Kurai looked down, as he did this a picture fell out of his pocket, the picture had Kurai, a bald man, and a bat in it. Kurai looked down and realised he dropped the photo, he quickly picked it up and put it back into his pocket...
