Twistopia: The Black Rebellion (Accepting on OOC/Pg-13

As Void lured another human through a cleverly placed opening to his pocket dimension, a shade appeared next to him and
handed over a note.

Void immediately recognized the style as that of Twisted and sighed.
"What do that fool want with me now?" He thought as he eyed the message only finding the words "To the Park!" written down on the paper.

He hoped this meant Twisted had found the key and needed them there for some strange reason.
However, If Void knew Twisted as well as he thought, this was just another of his masters crazy whims and would prove to be completely pointless in the end.

Either way, refusing to come was out of the question since Twisted would likely not be kind to those that refused a direct order and, eventhough he would be on the same level as a god once he was finaly unsealed, Void had learned that Twisted was right now an even match to that, and way past Void´s currently sealed stage.
But he could atleast delay obeying the order untill he had emptied his pocket dimension from humans.

Void warped over to a sewer pipe and began dropping down the humans he had captured in a way that was very simmilar to how he had dropped down the workers previously.

The dark haired youth spotted a crack, and then more. The loud buzzing noise had become unbearable, as his reflection shattered, and continued throughout the rows of mirrors. Richter raised his hand to cover his face, not wanting a second scar to blemish his already injured facade.

His heavy jacket worked well to deflect most shards of glass, from the sleeves to the gloves. After it sounded as though the commotion had ended, he looked up, spotting the Whirlwind Prodigy of the Black Rebellion.

Richter raised a brow at the kid's shenanigans.

"Need sssomething?"

A patron, his wife, and 3 young kids spotted the redhead on the other side of the food court, her yelling of 'Free Cotton Candy' attracting their attention. Noting the girl, they smiled, oblivious to danger at hand. Producing a camera and preparing to take a snapshot of the girl fighting what seemed to be large, nightmarish bugs he and his family laughed. But before he could properly take the shot, a large bug landed in front of the group.

His children, two girls and one boy were startled by the landing insect and and, of course, screamed in panic and backed up, as children are apt to do. Their mother also seemed to take a note of worry as she spotted the insectoid approaching. She rushed to her children's aid to comfort them, while her husband continued where he stood.

The patriarch of the family, however, seemed completely at ease, smiling from ear to ear. It was a theme park, and they couldn't possibly make an attraction that would harm them, right? He told this to his kids as he took a step forward. The insect however, lunged forward. He had the man's neck between his mandibles and one split second later, it was all over...

All over for the insect that is. Cue Hubris's theme!

Theme! O_O

The bug didn't even live long enough to yell out a cry before a small, earring-style throwing star left a rather large hole in it, one of Hubris's earrings.

The dad smiled and waved at his extremely pale and downright terrified wife and 3 kids (who do have names and I do have a plan for them BTW! <_<). The adorable clown mime appeared on the scene seconds after her earring did, a smile decorated her pale face.

As far as Hubris was concerned, Twisted and the other sins could harass as many people as they wanted, but while on Twistopia the paying guests could not be harmed. Scanning the area, her red eyes spotted the female from the Black Rebellion. She giggled, not particularly caring what fate befell those that trespassed and snuck into the park she looked after.

In all her thoughts, she hadn't noticed the family had surrounded her, perhaps in congratulation. Always a girl to soak in attention, she couldn't help but feel annoyed that seconds later a shade had appeared.

With him, he carried a note labeled "To the park". Hubris blinked, but her expression did not change nor did she speak. She placed a hand upon her chin, thinking hard yet still with the smile permanently etched on her face. She then snapped her fingers, coming up with a plan. She took two steps up to the Shade. She curled her right hand into a fist and arched back. In one quick motion she punched the shade with such a tremendous force he went flying, far far off into the horizon. Presumably, to the aforementioned park.

It seemed she had mistaken the intent behind the note. Assuming it to be like a label on the outside of the envelope that was a shade, rather then a commandment for her to follow.

The family, meanwhile, stayed in stunned silence at watching the young teen easily send someone flying way, way beyond not only the gates of the park but beyond everything they could see.

She gave a quick and polite curtsy to the group, then casually skipped away. Either to visit the park or to go be awesome somewhere else. Perhaps both!? After all, even if it was a command for her to follow, she was already... technically... in a park, wasn't she? She couldn't be penalized for thinking laterally, could she?

(( Excuse my absence. ))

Heikichi got off the ground and noticed that Thorn had already dismembered the giant flies rather efficiently. Considering Thorn was covered in bug guts, Heikichi felt like he should have done more to help. Heikichi dusted himself off before shouting back.
"I'm okay!" Heikichi shouted back, quickly regrouping with Thorn.
"Wow, you really did a number on those things..." Heikichi said while looking at the brutally mangled remains of the flies, some of which were still trying to twitch.
______

The last remaining squad of Suppuliuma's flies noticed that many of their comrades were missing. To avoid getting noticed and possibly attacked, they flew as high as their wings could take them and surveyed the city and its surroundings, searching for any sign of their brothers. Flying over the carnival, they spotted many other flies already hacked to pieces in a pile of pink cotton candy. The putrid odour of the remains quickly reached the flies sensitive feet, causing them to turn straight around and return to their master.

Their master, had found a cavern in one of the parks in the city, where he could be able to fit inside in his true form of a grotesque mushroom. The cavern had half rotten bodies strewn all over, apparently the contents of his stomach cavity, with a massive amount of flies swarming around each one, literally twiching and wriggling with all the activity from the maggots within. The squadron returned, crawling up to their master, clicking their mandibles.
"Hmm...So many of you dead? Very well then. Rest," Suppuliuma muttered the to flies, which quickly joined the feeding frenzy.
"What mortals could slay my servants?" Suppuliuma thought absently as his giant mouth sucked in what looked like ethereal balls of light, which seemed to make quiet screaming sounds when they entered the gaping maw.

(I apologize for my late activities. I'm starting college, and I've been going through a lot of preparation.)

"Several of them. She had the most peculiar interest in the show, like she was imminently drawn to it. Does this mean the show was a trap? What exactly is Twistopia?" Getsumen stood to his feet suddenly, and placed the shotgun at his heels. Drawing back a sleeve on his coat, he revealed his metallic like skin. "Does it have something to do with this mutation of mine? Because if this is true, I know this isn't some wacked dream I'm having. I need to know what the hell is going on. I don't mean to be rude, but I'm flustered and confused."

Our red headed heroine was tired and fatigued, sweat pouring and muscles aching, both from the fight and the emergency crash landing. That's not even mentioning the disgusting insect residue that had splattered upon her as she violently cut a path through the horde of bugs.

However, spotting Heiki-chan seemed to lift the girl's spirits, as she was all smiles. She leaned in for a hug, before suddenly noticing the bug nastification upon her sleeve.

"wah!" she recoiled back suddenly, not noticing whether or not Hekichi leaned in to hug back. "I'm all icky. No fair! I just took a shower about an hour ago!" she groaned, crossing her arms across her ample chest, eyes looking away and lips pouting.

"So unfair. We should probably head back..." she began. She blinked twice, looking at the boy. "Err... I mean! I'm going back! Don't let me spoil your day at the carnival just 'cause I had to go freshen up." She smirked, half-way forgetting that the carnival wasn't exactly the safest show on earth, along with the looming threats of shades, and safety in number. She blinked, as the realization suddenly dawned on her.

"Uhh... yeah." she began. "Let's head back, okay?"

"I'd be careful with those words," Arc replied honestly. "Say them wrong and one might actually think you were offering."

Looking around, he took a few steps and picked up a large chunk of mirror, not to big, but big enough that Rickter could see Arcs greenish blue eyes in the shard. Running a single hand through his hair, the mirror held out as though he was prepping his appearance, his smug smirk was at it's almost largest. "You know, the more time I spend following you, it seems the less I truly know about you. You say you don't care what we do, and yet you went out of our way to get our attention before. But then when I think about it, that seems like the one thing we have in common is that despite our best efforts, we can't help contradict ourselves.

He turned, mirror shard still in hand but hanging loosely at his side. "Lets just cut to the chase, cause honestly I grow tired of being the only one talking. There's obviously something you want that I can provide. I'm looking for something fun to do that doesn't require listening to that blow-hard Connor getting all over my case." For the first time since entering, Arcs eyes locked onto the one in the trench coat who so interested him, beginning to speak again as the mirror shard was so carelessly and effortlessly passed between the fingers on his right hand. "I'm sure we can work something out..."

----------------------------------------

The carnival around the two was quiet. There had not been any movement other than the flies in Thorn and Heikichi's entire time, no doubt due to the lack of people, shades and even sins themselves. But as the two started heading slowly back, starting from their position in the mid center of the rather large carnival ground, they couldn't help but feel like they were both being watched. They started to notice little things as the walked, their shadows fading as the world around them growing darker, a dark black, barely noticeable fog creeping over the fair ground until visibility was almost impossible. But that wasn't the worst at all.

They had focused so hard on what was happening around them, they had failed to notice where they had ended up. They were in a large open courtyard in the fair grounds, the tents so far apart that they had no longer any idea of if they were close to bumping into them or not. That's when they heard it: The low growl. The slight vibrations of the earth as something larger than them started moving slowly around them, as though stalking it's prey...

"LOOK OUT!" Suddenly, the two were pushed to the ground by an unknown man, as a large almost grotesque canine creature missed ripping them to shreds. "Stay low, no unnecessary movements." the voice, now more easily identifiable as Connors said, almost shakily.

----------------------------------------

In the park Twisted sat, a basket of black thorns next to him. He appeared to lying on an invisible chair, his body not touching the ground or anything for that matter. Around him, Many bodies hung from the trees, some shades watching him upside down, some corpses recently acquired still dripping. As he looked around he noticed the surprising lack of people around, and as his impatience grew, a thought had once again crossed his mind, one he had been thinking of since the first moment he entered the park.

"I wonder what a squirrel looks like inside out. I've never gotten a great look at the guts of a squirel. What does it do? What does it feel like? What does it taste like? So many questions." His thought stopped remembering something ELSE this time. "Gee I wonder what's taking them all so long? I thought they would like a picnic. That and the wonderfully terrific news I wish to give them all. That and the sandwiches. I might be evil, but I do make a good sandwich!" Still mumbling on about nothing truly important, he would wait, seeing if anyone would show up to hear his musing. What a shame it would be if he had to start dismembering his family, and we do mean that literally.

----------------------------------------

"Hmmmm... Flustered and confused you say, I see." The boy put his finger to his head, as though imitating a doctor who was mere moments from diagnosing his patient. "Well, I afraid to say your coming off what appeared to be a very potent shading. More than likely, you were recently attacked and just suddenly awoke with these powers, having no real memory in your head other than that of what you fear most as though you had been stuck in a horrible nightmare." He suddenly stopped, realizing he was rambling. "Well you know, it's just a prediction. Twisted isn't who he says he is and frankly I'm not really sure what he is. But one thing I know is he's not someone you wish to mess around with. How bad do you really want to find your wife?"

Void finished dropping captured hmans down the sewer entrance and left it behind him.

Once again, he had gotten no reaction from the guardian except a growl and it devouring the humans.

Now, it was important for him to get over to the park since Twisted was likely getting impatient and Void knew from the years of working for Twisted.
An impatient Twisted is a REALY dangerous Twisted.

He teleported over to the park, his exit point appearing close to a small group of trees,
trees that Void was a little disturbed to see corpses hanging from, some apparently still fresh and dripping with blood.
Along with the corpses, he also spotted a few shades hanging upside down and, withouth a doubt, a lot of them already noticing him.

"I see, Twisted have been realy busy"

Now he could see his master, seemingly floating in the air and obviously lost in thoughts Void did not care about.
Next to Twisted, Void noticed a basket made of black thorns.

In all, the area seemed to be a twisted (No pun intended) version of what you usually associate with a picnic
"Sorry I´m late" Void spoke, his voice monotone as allways.

(sorry for the barely sustantial post)

Acrimony was about to throw off a random citizen off a roof as he planned during the meeting. Then a shade came up to him and handed him a note saying: To the park! So he followed through by throwing the shade AND the random citizen off and walking to the park. At first it seemed... normal if it weren't for the denizens having a picnic. I frickin hate picnics he thought walking towards the picnic, "not sorry if I'm late" he remarked.

Virgil looked at the boy Maxwell, and had half the mind to shoot him then and there, it would have been fun so to speak. "Who the hell are you?!" Virgil said with a finger pointed at Maxwell, "you sure aren't B.R. that's for sure." Virgil walked an kicked some random litter away. Clank, clank it went. "So. Boring. Not. Vandalising. Or. Hurting. Things." Virgil muttered to himself.

Heikichi felt a little stupid for leaning into a hug that didn't really happen, but he simply forgot about it and smiled.
"Don't worry about it! Never really liked carnivals too much. Everything in a carnival is trying to scam you anyways," Heikichi replied with his normal laidback tone. Even thought he acted at ease, the dimming light gave him no reason to be. Heikichi gripped his staff and walked with Thorn. When he thought her heard growling, he gripped his staff with both hands. Someone shouting suddenly broke the near silence and tackled both of them to the ground. Before he could shove the guy off and give him a good roughing up, he recognized Connor's voice.
"What the hell's going on?"

"My good sir, I would go through any measures necessary to return my wife to my arms," he said picking up his shotgun, and cocking it. "And I do mean any measures. If you can tell me where to look, how to get there, and what I should accompany with me, I'm sure I can bring down any foe who should stand between my goal and I." Getsumen gripped the barrel of the gun tighter now, nearly crushing it. "Will you help me? Will you aid me to find my wife? Surely if this Twisted is as bad as you say he is, I can help you bring him to justice. Perhaps we could join forces. Maybe then I'd be able to take on this burden with a lighter load," he whispered. Getsumen's hands quivered as he thought of how his wife obsessed with Twisted and his show. He wanted revenge, clearly. And at the same time, it became a lot more personal.

The boy Thorn had called Richter lowered his raised brow. He listened to what the high flying youth said, but thought little of it. As far as he thought of himself, he was merely a world traveler, the only sane man left in a world full of either monsters like those working for Twistopia, deluded fools like those on Conner's brigade, or the ignorant sheep who walked the world not knowing of either side's existence. But as far as Richter considered himself, he wasn't a shepherd. Just one man who broke free and now travels the true path of justice.

He merely stared quietly, letting the windbag continue speaking, as it seemed the youth quite liked the sound of his own voice.

However something the ignorant child said seemed to rub 'Richter' the wrong way. "Fun?" he spoke, showing no emotion in neither sound nor face. "Looks like you came to the wrong amusement park." Despite the shattered glass, the dark haired youth continue walking the path as though the mirrored walls were still in place, ignoring the fact it was but a straight line to the exit. He walked in the direction of Arc, but slightly to the left, then took a sharp right turn, continuing to follow the non-existent maze.

Another sharp right and his back was to Arc. "You're delusion if you think the girl would take lightly to having her assessment park destroyed though." He smirked, but continued walking along the way, turning left now.

---

Walking with Heikichi was uplifting, however she could only ignore the ever creeping darkness for so long. She looked left and right, and unfamiliar feeling as the tents loomed and the shadows grew longer. "Have... we been this way before?"

A growling noise, as she reached for the blades she kept... somewhere on her person? I'm not sure anyone ever really explained where exactly she hid her blades, though I do remember her poison pouches were on the back of her belt. But enough about that!

She had her hand on her blades when suddenly she felt someone knock her down. "Hey! What's the big-" She protested, before hearing his voice. "C-conner?" She stammered, red in the face.

A wolf-like, possibly werewolf creature looked around. "Uhh..." she cringed as she looked over her bug-guts covered self. "Dogs have bad senses of smell, right?"

Kiruha was in a dark corner, about to kill an innocent group of girls. She pulled her arm back to thrust the knife, but as she did, her elbow bumped into a character behind her. She changed her target to it and slashed it in half. Looking down, she realized it was a shade. Taped to it was a note saying "to the park." Feeling interrupted, she walked up to the girl in the front and carved a strange pattern into her face, using the tip of her knife. Blood streaked down from the wound, as Kiruha quickly made her way to the park, conveniently nearby. She walked through the gate, and was about to get Twisted's attention, when out of the sky, a shade fell. And landed on her. She threw it off of her and noticed the same note that was on the shade she encountered earlier. Judging from the force and direction that the shade came from, she figured that it was thrown or launched from the theme park. Kiruha deduced that there was only one person who would spare the shade: the clown girl, Hubris. She began to make her way back to Twistopia to deal with the girl herself.

"Oh no, that's no dog..." Connor cautiously glanced around. The beast was lurking in the dark mist somewhere, of that he was sure. He didn't have to see the beast now, however to know exactly what he was dealing with. The Increased size. The mutated form (this time a werewolf/Cerberus like beast, complete with two heads), with what appeared to be protruding bones all over it's body. The pitch black coloring the beast had with only slight variations in tint in areas such as the teeth, eyes, and tails.

"Stay low everyone. We have a rouge Broken on our hands." As the beast circled the group, it's heavy footsteps echoed around their immediate area, making tracking the beast utterly impossible, and with the fog the group could barely see themselves let alone the beast. But then it stopped, and all noise silenced. "what are you-" Before he could finish, "Fifi" made it's move, leaping out of the mist claws out pouncing at Heikichi.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Watching Richter walk away Arc only frowned disappointingly. "Darn. I here I was thinking you would WANT Connor gone. Thinking that you might actually want someone who can move those fools like puppets on a string. Oh well, at least I tried. The breaking things was fun though." Wiping up a strong enough wing, he through the piece of glass in his hand, the combo of sharp object and gale force winds opening a hole on the side of the tent nearest him. "But feel free to change your mind at any time. I'm not that hard to find." Turning, he began out of the hole.

------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Late?" Twisted began. "Now, now, you couldn't possibly be late. Only the dead are truly late, and you two wouldn't happen to be DEAD, would you?" Those words could be taken in two different ways: Either twisted was threatening them, warning their disobedience with death, or he was simply making a metaphor. Either way, the two including Acrimony and Void would remember to be wary of their punctuality, just in case.

"Enough formalities!" Twisted suddenly screamed, loud enough that the birds in the trees behind him flew off in various directions. "While we wait for the others, we should partake in the annual tradition of showing things into our dirty pie holes. SO," Reaching into the basket twisted began to pull a few things out, the first being, well...

"Who wants Hand?"

It was at about this time that the shade and corpse thrown so haphazardly be Acrimony would end up heading straight towards Suppuliuma's cave. Only god (and Otaku) could know which Suppuliuma would react worse to: That there was a meeting of sins that he was not included in, or that the shade would be on a direct course for Suppuliuma's many eyes... the note with Acrimony's name on the back...

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gabe sighed at Getsumens request. "My friend... Twisted is someone we've been dealing with for a long time, and I'm afraid my question isn't as simple as your answer. Finding your wife now, If twisted DOES have her, will be like finding a needle in a haystack, and odds are she won't be like you remember. The Shades, Twisteds human like creations, were all originally human. Twisted traps them, binds them to their own fear and insanity so he can manipulate their bodies for his own gain. And to turn them back, well what you'd have to do..." He paused, trying to figure out how to best word it to Getsumen.

"What I'm saying is, do you want to get her back so bad that you'd be willing to HURT and basically kill her to do it?"

------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maxwell cowered under this harsh boy Virgils words. He felt targeted, and he didn't really know how to handle it.

"Hush now Virgil!" Marcus replied sternly. "If doki trusts him and is escorting him, then surely there must be a reason."

Max's ears picked up them. "R-Right! Doki saved me from the black things and then this guy in a coat showed up and... I don't really know. It was all very confusing."

"Kill her?" Getsumen paused. He was suddenly stricken with fear and rage both at once. "Is this sick minded bastard so powerful that my wife is virtually dead to me?" he whispered. His spine chilled and a cold sweat began to bead upon his forehead. "Is there no other way to save her? Is there no way to return her to normal without destroying my wife? Because if not, then the way I see it, I have no wife. God forbid we should cross paths, but I will avenge her lost mind and soul when I walk on Twisted's grave," he said angrily. There was an odd stiffness in the air at these words, and his face grew darker. "They say hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. I'll show them hell never before witnessed, if it means bringing justice to my wife, and my name."

The boy called Richter had casually walked at a pretty constant stride, so suddenly stopping was rather jarring and sudden. The rhythmic footfalls of his fancy dark dress shoes were no longer noticeable. However, his back was turned to the hole Arc "Conner? I do not want JUST that vermin gone." He casually brushed one of the bangs from out of his line of sight, not caring that the strands of hair returned.

"It doesn't take a geniusss to figure it out. Conner and Twisted are both two sssides of the s-same coin." He adjusted his scarf, though no real reason to. "But, both of them surround themselves with others..."

"The 7 Sins for Twisted. The Black Rebellion for Conner. As much as it pains me to say this..." He thought back to Thorn, face lightly pink. He was glad Arc could probably not see his face since all the mirrors broke. "The best bet would be to take down each of them along the way." He turned on his heels, not sure if Arc still stuck around to hear him or if he had merely been speaking to himself.

"Th-thanks-a-lot-Hu-bris, but-I-don't-want-my hair-done!" One of the youths from before, from when Hubris conquered the bugs, was within the mime's clutches. Hubris had already taken a strand of the 10-year-old's long brown hair, and processed it. Now it was all a matter of cheering her up. And she figured giving the girl hair just like Hubris's, threaded through a weird cone thing on the side of her hair would cheer her up. Unfortunately, it seemed the youth, named Marcie by the way, would not yield. Hubris shrugged and jumped back about 10 feet, letting the young girl speak.

"I just want to see my family again!" She protested, a sad tone to her voice as she bit her lower lip to keep from crying. "Connie, Ross and me were following mommy and daddy when things got really dark and there was fog everywhere."

Hubris merely juggled her throwing earrings as she heard the child speak. "I stumbled along for a bit, and then you found me. And I just like... wanna see my parents now."

Hubris, still with the painted on smile, thought for a moment. She casually tossed all her earrings really high up with a flick of her wrist.

She easily picked up the young Marcie and hoisted her over her shoulder like a bag of potatoes, despite Marcie's protesting and kicking that boys could now see up her skirt, before Hubris finally made it to their destination, a souvenir stand near the Tunnel of Love.

Hubris set the youth down, then dug around for something in the background. Off in the distance, several screams and the sound of metal raining down on them could be heard. Marcie raised a brow, and suddenly felt a sickening fear and dread take over. Sure, this was supposed to be Twistopia but did they have to always be in character.

Before long, the blonde, painted up mime emerged from the stand, carrying a large empty box. Placing it on the counter, the ten year old could spot it was labeled "T-Shirts". The teenage mime however soon crossed out "T-Shirts" and wrote in "Lots and Found"[sic].

"You've got to be kidding me." began Marcie, but before she could protest further the pink-clad mime once again picking up Marcie and casually dropped her into the cardboard box on the counter.

"H-hey!" Marcie protested. "And how are you gonna make sure people see me!?"

A polite hand to cover her mouth as Hubris merely giggled, always well known for causing a scene. She snagged two Hubris dolls that were hanging near the top section of the souvenir stand, and began juggling them. Of course, this was only her warmup act, until more people showed up.

So involved in her act was Hubris, she didn't notice Marcie sighing and palming her face in upset-ness.

Thorn's eyes remained big as she carefully scanned the area, ready to strike at any signs of movement. Unfortunately, steps were difficult to track with the booming echo of the behemoth, two headed hell hound. She sneezed once, then instantly covered her nose. She had hoped it wouldn't attract the attention of the dog. However she notably heard all other sounds stop.

She held her breath, the calm before the stop...

Then all at once, the large dog jumped towards Heikichi.

"HEIKI-CHAN!" she called out, pushing him out of the way to protect him. Right sword held in a defensive manner near her, left one far back, preparing to strike. She punched forward with her left, like a pitcher throwing a baseball. She released her grip on the handle, as the sword flew through the air, aiming for the inside of the beast's jaw. Should it miss, she felt she had a decent chance to trip it up. Should that also not work, she could presumably use her right blade.

Heikichi was trying to spot the wolves wherever they might be, but before he could react, one of them lunged at him. Heikichi managed to react in time to block it, but he heard his name being called and heard the whooshing of metal. A glint of steel broke the darkness and embedded itself into the creature's jaw, making it howl in pain. Heikichi took full advantage of the situation and smashed it's skull open. The wolf still didn't die, writing in pain, so Heikichi ended it's misery and smashed it's windpipe, ending it's wretched life. Heikichi pulled out his gun and scanned around, looking for more wolves. He quickly spotted one behind Thorn and shot it a few times in the face, making it howl and slink back into the relative safety of the darkness. Heikichi formed up behind Thorn.
"We've got to cover our backs. These things will attack from every angle and we've got to be ready!" he curtly said before shooting at a pair of glowing eyes. He then quickly reloaded and got ready for the next wolf to come his way.

Our local redhead thought it was only one wolf, a double headed one, but perhaps in the mist and darkness had eyes had betrayed her. In either case, she figured it best not to ask questions and accept the world for what it was. She couldn't use her poisons in such close corridors, especially on something that moved so fast, so she'd have to come up with something else.

"D-don't worry!" she stammered. She quickly dashed towards Heikichi, both weapons extended. Tied to the gauntlets on her arms, she pressed her back against his, so he'd know she, almost literally, had his back. She hoped her hair wasn't bothering his neck though.

At that point, she extended the length of the ribbon to about arm length, before spinning her blades perpendicular to the ground. Like a yo-yo person doing an "around the world" yo-yo trick. A pretty good defensive position, as it'd be unlikely for an attack at their sides to come up. "You done reloading?" she questioned, partially forgetting Conner was with them too.

This beast, or "Broken" as Connor had called it, had attempted to be struck by both attacks, it seemed to be critically injured... or at least, for a brief moment. Upon being hit, both by blade and by Heikichi's pummeling, it fell to the ground only to be absorbed by the mist around them once more. It had almost appeared as though they had won, but connor knew better. Soon a loud roar was heard beyond the mist, signaling their efforts had been in vain.

"This isn't any normal shade!" Connor yelled, A little ways off from the two, The Black Cross drawn. "Broken's have near regenerative properties, meaning you either find it's weak point, or you destroy it all at once! We're gonna need need a plan."

-----------------------------------------------------

"Please don't misunderstand," Gabe continued, looking Getsumen straight on. "When twisted shades someone, he takes away all of their rational thought, while leaving their body as an exact, pitch-black shadowless replica. And the only way to break the curse, is to break that body. So if your Wife IS a shade, you must understand that killing her would be whats best. Afterward, she would have no recollection as to what exactly occured. However, as for your condition..." Gabe looked at his companions metallic arm. "It seems that you yourself have broken free of a shading. If your wife has as strong a will as you, she might have done the same."

Void rolled his eyes, being careful so Twisted and Acrimony wouldn´t notice.

His suspicion had been correct as this clearly looked like one of Twisted´s crazy whims, one that would eventually proove to lead them nowhere and only waisting time in the process.

"No Thanks" Void spoke, trying his best to make it sound polite.

His mouth was still covered with the bandages that kept his powers in check, not locking it in place but denying him the ability to eat.

However, the truth was that from the moment Void became Void, He had almost completely lost his need to eat, the last thing that, in Voids opinion, kept reminding him that he was still part human.

Now, If he ever felt the need to eat something, his Dark Void would take care of it as the energy it collected was also able for regular use, taking care of Voids need for old fashioned food.

His thoughts where interrupted by a faint thud and the smell of something burning.

A bandage that had been placed around his right shoulder was now lying on the ground behind him, burning in one end and slowly turing into ash, piece by piece, and amazingly enough, not affecting the grass.

It had covered a very small piece of his neck while the seal in it still worked, and now you could see a faint hint of skin with a sickly grayish colour.

So far, the bandages that had stopped working simply dropped to the ground, that this one had ignited was something new to Void and managed to lighten his mood temporarely while at the same time, confusing him beyond words.

"Well, this is something new, question is, is it good?"

Void leaned himself against a tree and awaited the arrival of the other sins.

"Then I shall make several decisions. First, I will not attempt to rescue my wife if she cannot be returned to me as she was before. I don't want some empty shell to attempt to love me. Second, I want Twisted's head. He's caused enough corruption, and it's about time someone stepped in to shut it down. Third, I require some training, and perhaps a place to sleep if you don't mind. If I'm to bring down Twisted, I cannot do so without practice and preparation. So what say you? Will you help me?" Getsumen said quickly. He knew the night was long, but everyone's days were numbered. There was no telling when Twisted would strike to his knowledge, so he'd rather not waste time.
