The Final Messenger
Meanwhile Virgil was contemplating his escape. He started yelling, then crying, then praying, then using his wires to climb up the pipe, but alas, he couldn't get up the slope five meters in the pipe. He sat there, yelling through the pipe for anyone, even a shade would do. He'd kill it, but it would do for company. He jumped down and looked at the two floating bodies, "anyone know how to get up?" he asked the bodies in a mock tone. He got tired and laid down in the water. "I wonder how the others are doing, maybe they're dead, I doubt they have clean water, there might even be shades where they are. It doesn't matter, I'll die down here," Virgil told himself, lowering his self-esteem with every statement made. He sighed and resumed his idiotic ranting. Catterjune
Before Virgil could truly begin contemplating the infinite, a few ripples in the water began to come his way. Then, a few more. The blonde wasn't scared, knowing that any gun fired into water at an angle would pretty much be slowed tremendously at a depth after 5 feet. If he fired, she'd wait until his frantic shots stopped or slowed down before surfacing. If he didn't fire at all, that was great news for her. Taking her chance, the blonde haired girl sank to the bottom of the river, before jumping as high as she could, landing perfectly right in front of the the dark haired lad. A painted on smile decorating her face. Strangely enough, whatever make up that may have been on her face wasn't running. She giggled politely at his plight, but didn't seem to be interested in doing much else. Neither helping him out nor hurting him. Considering how much stronger she was then him, it'd be an unwise move to strike on his part without backup. The teen girl slowly sauntered up to him stopping about one meter away, then stared at him for a good long time with those cold dead glassy eyes before finally, another giggle escaped her. Doing her best, she positioned herself to be an exact mirror of him. She copied his posture, the placement of his hands, everything. That is, except for the expression on the face which remained fixated in a cold, dead smile.
Altaïr
Hikiyashi ran to the shadow but when he was in a one-foot radius it was one,he wondered where it went...And who it was. He continued down the corridor still rasing his swords incase a shade came down the hallway. As he continued down he began to here voices, they were his family's voice's. He strained to listen to what they were saying when they all screamed and went utterly silent. He was hoping he would find of the BR members before he goes insane of his past in this twisted place....
SPA7X
(Mason, you didn't read my post above correctly. Ctrl-f and enter your characters name if you want to see where. Start here, and delete all your other posts. Pika, continue as thorn and hubris. Don't make a battle with Hubris yet though she can play with Virgil a bit, and don't reunite Thorn and Heikichi either.) "Burn" A fireball of considerable size enveloped the pathway in front of Marcus, disposing of each shade as he did. He wondered how they would fare down in these sewers, waking to find themselves in dark cramped tunnels. But that thought didn't seem to be as important as the notion of getting out with the others and figuring out what had happened. As he walked along the corridors, he started to hear a very loud noise, a loud "woosh" from afar. He drew closer, until emerging in a giant chamber, filled with two Giant whirlpools which connected the various channels. The first whirlpool was dirty, obviously absorbing the waste, But the second was crystal clear and... unusual. Instead of taking water in, it released and flowed the opposite direction. A white hole and black hole so to speak. "Well... something about this place seems... off." Putting that thought aside though, he continued onward, moving down one of the individual channels. -------------------------------------------------- Doki's actions managed to tie up 2 of the 4 shades, but the other two remained after max, who had no idea there numbers had dropped. Putting a bit of distance between themselves and Doki, Maxwell unfortunately ran out of room, backed up against the alley's end wall. He was cornered, as two shades started to creep up to him slowly. But as they turned their backs another being looked down on them from above. One with three swords, all at the ready (Hikiyashi). Doki unfortunately had his hands full. As the first two shades were eliminated, 5 more sprung up, ready to test this power house's abilities.
Lord of Chaos
A drole smile came across Doki's face seeing the other shades his muscles tensed and his pupils dilated, Doki breathed deeply and spoke almost clearly "Adrenaline rush." Doki's eyes widend as a surge of energy poured threw his body, letting out another jumbled bunch of jibberish Doki swung the chains that were shackled to his wrists at the shades, Doki smiled as he flung the chains wildly and again spoke less clearly this time "Mas stent." is what he managed to say as his muscles tensed up becoming larger, but by doing this it slowed Doki down. Doki again began to swing his chains letting his full strength fly with every swing, Doki seemed to be chuckling as the chains slammed into the ground and walls of the alley way, Doki had never been good at keeping his attacks focused on the enemy, but he was indeed a power house and didn't need to. Finally Doki took one large swing using both chains and sweeping across all of the shades trying to bluntly finish them
SPA7X
Heikichi and Thorn both tried to feel the walls as though there was some magical switch of button which would reunite the two. It seemed the wall itself was pretty think: attacks from either of them not coming anywhere near close to breaking it. Although, knowledge that they were both still ok and nearby would at least add some comfort to the two. Before Heikichi could try to respond to Thorns quiery though, they both started to hear foot steps. But these weren't those of a humans, in fact these footsteps were only audioble due to the splashing they made when they made contact with water. As both turn to face the direction of this noise, still exhausted but prepared to fight nonetheless, what appeared to them were shades, one each, standing in the middle of both tunnels facing north. But these shades would not attack instead bowing at the two and as they did more prominent features appeared on the shades. For these shades were not black. They were grey. ------------------------------ Doki's attacks smashed full on into the shades and they were sent flying backwards, reverting back once they hit something. But at the same time, his brash attacks in the closed off alley way caused the sides of the buildings to collapse blocking his path. It would seem he would have to find another way to get to maxwell. Nereby there seemed to be a fire escape atached to the side of a building. Perhaps that would be of use. (not much else I can post here. Mason, post soon or I'll continue without you. Final, seeing how your character fears Hubris I suggest running. Pika and Otaku, I think you both know how to handle the situations. Oh, and sins will start after sewer is escaped from. Seeing as everyone who has a sins I believe also has a BR member, it'd be cool to switch.)
The Final Messenger
Virgil heard some splashing and saw the creepy clown person and nearly had a heart attack. How the freak did she get here, that means there's an escape, or maybe it's a one way entrance, Virgil thought before standing and running as fast as he could, following the stream due to the thought that said, running water leads to the ocean. Virgil then attempted to throw the clown off by going left, left, foward, right, left, foward, left, right, left, right, left, and left. He got back on track of the stream, silently moving, but still moving fast, and he stood there before Making a wire trap, the moment she'd run at him, she'd be sliced to pieces, atleast, that was the plan. Catterjune
Watching after him as he ran away, there was little the blonde haired clown-mime could do. Not wanting to exurt any unnecessary movement, she let out a soft "sighing" sad kind of a noise, before leaning back and falling into the water, swimming away to, presumably, her own special exit. As far as she was concerned, she'd get him later. --- But all those questions would be answered later, probably, as she heard the footfalls of another creature emerging. She once again armed herself, ribbons wrapped around her gauntlets and twin daggers ready in place at her hands. She turned, spotting a tunnel, and a shade standing guard. It was a relief to find an exit, however spotting the shade was rather unsettling. However, something about it was different. It didn't seem as aggressive as the ones she had just defeated. Other then that, she couldn't tell anything else, since a colour change would be difficult to make out in a place only lit by torches against the wall. "Uhh... hello?" she questioned, raising her hand and waving meekly.
Otaku-sama
Heikichi tried replying, but all that could come out of his mouth was coughing. After the fit of coughing, Heikichi could taste a little blood. He knew that he probably damaged one of his organs after hitting concrete hard multiple times. In fact, he was rather familiar with this kind of injury. Seeing no use in talking, Heikichi limped towards the exit tunnel. He was me' in the tunnel by another shade. Heikichi, still holding his gun, pointed it at the shade, but to his suprise, the shade did not charge or make any attempt to attack. Heikichi looked at the shade with suspicion before slowly lowering his gun. The shade didn't match the colour of the shadows around it. For an odd reason, it was lighter, like a shadow cast on a bright day. "Who or what are you?" Heikichi asked, not really expecting a response. Lord of Chaos
Doki hit himself for not controlling his attack, but now he seemed to have no choice but to climb the fire escape, Doki sighed an then spoke again his words were very unclear "Mas sed." Doki's muscles relaxed then tensed again, Doki quickly climbed the fire escape as he got over the rubble he looked down seeing the two shades closing in on the boy Doki lept down looking at the two shade and shouting some slured words that could not be understood, he rushed at the shades his speed was still above that of a regular human, and he easily moved himself inbetween the shades and the boy, he looked at the shades and tensed up ready for another fight
SPA7X
Both of the shades simply turned abruptly and starting walking back through the tunnels, stopping and turning every now and then to beckon their respective human along the dimmly lit path. The shades seemed to have a rather good Idea of where they were headed, and as far as either Heikichi or Thorn could tell, they had no sign of ill will, nor did they have the rather Herky Jerky motions gained from the instabillity of the standard shade: These walked straightly and smoothly, almost gracefully. They had been given their orders to retrive them with out harm and protect them at all costs if possible. They would not allow them to be left behind. ---------------------------------- "What on earth are you doing?" Marcus said walking casually up to Virgil, watching as the boy was almost scared out of his mind by his unnoticed approach. Marcus had been walking only a mere 5 minutes untill he came upon the boy and his... "Trap". Frankly he was almost amused. "You do realise there is no one there, right? what could have possibly been running from that would require you to trap it?" ---------------------------------- As maxwell cowered in fear he thought to himself "this is it... I'm actually going to die because of a stupid crazed carnival freakshow. what did I ever do to deserve this?..." Just as he said those words, the giant bulk that was Doki desended from the sky, landing inbetween the shades and him. This new strange strong mans appearance caused maxwell to topple over almost, falling on his rear in surprize. He thought that this man must be crazy, taking them both on like that. And apparently so did the shades as they charged him both at the same time, one jumping to attack from above as another crouched to attack low. Lord of Chaos
Doki was thrown to the ground by the two pronged attack, he tried to push the shades off, but was unsucessful, he spoke more gibberish "EXTEM ADRENLIN!!!!" Doki threw the shades off of him with new found strength, he lifted himself off the ground and shouted as he rushed one of the shades, he reached out a hand to grab the shade, he was running low on energy he would need to quit soon or he would exhuast all of his power, Doki flung his other hand down bringing the down on the shade he was rushing at, again he shouted more unregignizible words as he swung the chain down on the shade
Catterjune
Of course, Thorn had seen scores of Shades attacking a human, and this one seemed no different then any of the other ones she had seen performing a massacre on human lives. She wasn't about to become another statistic so naturally she kept her distance from it, keeping both swords at the ready by her side. Yet something about the shade seemed beckoning to her, as though enticing her to follow it. She made sure she could see the monster at all times, but, for the most part, seemed rather standoff-ish about the whole thing, still fully armed and ready to jump should the shade do anything peculiar. SPA7X
The shades moved at a solid tempo, a cross between a walk and a jog as they almost glided along the water filled pathways. But it wouldn't be long before one of them, Heikichi's to be precise, reached it's destination: A much larger chamber than the first, a ladder at the far end of it, assumably leading to the upper world. As his shade entered the room, once again it turned to the young boy and bowed but this time it did something a little different. As it bowed, the shadows around it dissolved away, leaving the remaining mid thirties female human lying in the middle of the floor unconscious. "It was about time someone got here, I was almost beginning to worry that no one would show up. God that would've sucked." This voice clearly startled the already unsure and weakened Heikichi. From the shadows of the corridor closest to him, a single figure emerged a smile on his face. As Connor looked upon the boy he said "Congratulations, you made. But..." Connor's look of relief immediately turned to worry. "Weren't you with Thorn? Heikichi... Where is Thorn?"
The Final Messenger
"Well Marcus I'm setting a trap for the clown farther back, I just need to wait," Virgil said, half fearfully, half sarcasticly. He waited for 5 minutes which became 10 minutes which in turn became 20 minutes. "SO FREAKING BORED WHEN IS SHE COMING! I WANNA SLICE SOMEONE UP!" Virgil yelled, creating an echo that would be sent through the pipelines and maybe to some unsuspecting citizen's plumbing. He turned back to Marcus and said, "so how do you suppose we get out Mr. 'I know there's nobody that will come'?"
Otaku-sama
Heikichi jumped at the sound of the voice and aimed his gun at where he heard the voice. From the shadows emerged Connor, giving Heikichi some relief. He lowered his weapon and replied. "Well, we were together for a bit, but when we fell through the floor at the big top, we were separated. I thought I heard her calling out to me, but I really have no idea where she could be. For all I know, I could have heard an echo," Heikichi said before leaning against the wall. He checked his slash wound across his chest by touching it cautiously with his finger. The wound stung intensely and he could feel it bleeding more than when he first checked it. He could also start seeing some of the blood soak through his shirt. He groaned as he stood up again
SPA7X
"Well to be honest I have no idea which way to go. I have been searching this underway for quite a bit of time but so far I haven't..." Only for a breif second, Marcus' eyes gazed over to a dark figure in the distance. "Well, it seems you were right. We do have a new guest." As he spoke those words a shade of gray stepped out into the light as all the others had. It's figure was rather thin, body being no wore than 4 inch with. The shade looked from Marcus to Virgil before bowing to them both. "So I take it Connor's finally decided to join the party? It's about time. Virgil," Marcus spoke in his commanding tone, "Lets go. Our guide is waiting." And so they both whent off into the cooridors. (Final, have your post be them reuniting with the others. This whole scene seems to be taking to much time so I wish to get it cleared quickly.) -------------------------------------- Thorns shade lead her quickly and quietly through a different part of the chambers then the others had originally come from. This chamber was not only different in appearence but in occupancy as well. As and the unnammed shade walked slowly, all around her were reminders of why they were fighting this war. Bodies strung and left to rot in the water, possesions dropped and left behind from there attempts at escape. It was a tragic fate they had been giving, not even knowing the enemy the had been going against. Would warning them have changed anything? Would it have spared lives? All questions there were no straight answers to. The sickening corridor had long been abondoned by whatever shades had done this, probably long since finished and returned to the surface. But as soon as they had entered this nightmare room, they had exited it into their destination where Connor and Heikichi were waiting for them. -------------------------------------- As the Doki finished his attacks and the final two shades dissolved to their original form, Maxwell just stood in awe of this man who had saved him, his mouth utterly agape. What had just happened? Was the only question going through his mind as his body stood still and silent.
Catterjune
There was a strange familiar feeling about the shade. While walking behind him, she had the feeling that she was walking with Conner. Due to the bumps and scrapes of falling down a thing and landing hard on her backside, it had slipped her mind that Conner was capable of screwing with shadows. Continuing through the tunnels, she passed by several unnerving sights. Dead, rotting bodies and lost people. She did her best to look over each one as best as she could, to make sure it was not Virgil, Marcus, Heikichi, or Conner yet also felt a feeling of nervousness, as though standing still would cause the same fate that had befallen them to befall her. "How much longer is it?" she questioned to the shade, but before long it (presumably) dissolved. At the end of a corridor was a slightly brighter tunnel. What could be called the 'the light at the end of the tunnel', if there was really that much more light at the end. She hurried onward, and soon was reunited with two familiar faces. "Heiki-chan!" She called out excitedly, rushing to meet him. She pressed her body tightly against his and pulled him into a tight and loving embrace, pressing her lips against his (face) cheek. She could feel the tears beginning to well up, but she did a good enough job hiding it. Loosening her grip, yet still clinging onto him, she looked at the young man. "I thought I would never see you again!" Not letting go of Heikichi, she then turned to Conner. "Where's Virgil and Marcus?"
Otaku-sama
Heikichi momentarily forgot all about his pain when Thorn walked out of the tunnel and gave him a hug and a kiss. He didn't care that he was covered in slash wounds. He didn't care that he was covered in someone else's refuse. He didn't care about any of it. He was in bliss. After having a moment of bliss, he slowly returned to earth. His face felt hot and he knew that his face was bright red. He had every right to be blushing. It was the first time he had recieved any kind of affection in a long time. Instead of being just on the recieveing end of affection, Heikichi hugged back. He was glad that Thorn was safe and hadn't suffered the same fate as Naoko. "Yea, I thought I wouldn't see again too! Did you get hurt? Did you get ambushed?" Heikichi asked before all the pain that was momentarily blocked out rushed back to him like a brick wall. He couldn't help but let a pained groan escape his lips. The Final Messenger
Virgil walked out of the sewer after grabbing a recently killed rat, and was greeted by the sight of his friends and allies unharmed. Sort of, if you called 'unharmed', obviously attacked, then they were definitely unharmed. " 'Ello!" Virgil yelled, waving at the group of people about thirty yards away. "You called?" Virgil asked in a slightly happier, yet still very Virgil-y voice, while walking towards the group. "And guess what?" Virgil asked with the dead rat in his hand that was behind his back. He revealed it and said sarcastically, "I got us some dinner! Sorry if it's not opossum, but it's all I could find!" As usual he used his morbid, disgusting, and sometimes evil, Virgil brand of humor.
Catterjune
"Virgil-kun!" letting go of Heikichi with her left, but still keeping him close with her right she turned her body and waved to him, and (presumably) Marcus as well when he managed to step up; since Virgil and Marcus were together. She gave an odd, confused look as Virgil held up a rat. Her face turned pale and mildly green. "Uhh... no thanks." She shook her head from left to right, then finally let go of Heikichi. Turning to the group, and mostly to Conner, she spoke again. "So like... I'm glad we're all together again, and not to rain on anyone's parade or anything, but did anyone find an exit?" She shrugged, not looking forward to spending the rest of her days in a sewer. Her thoughts ran back to Gabriel, wondering if they could send out an SOS to him somehow. SPA7X
Connor smiled as he saw the other members of the BR slowly fill the chamber. He had desperately feared that one of them might have gotten killed or lost, and by this point they were basically the only family he had. Watching Thorn and Heikichi together gave him both a heartwarming feeling and... well something else. To describe it best would be to say it was a very mild envy, the bond that they shared being one he in his very lonely life and orphaned childhood never exactly had. Shaking his head clear of these thoughts, he returned to the matter at hand. "It is a great relief to know that all of you still are alive. When the worst happened I... I admit I felt as though I had single handedly lead you all to die. After all this whole plan was my idea, I should've prepared you for the very worst. But I guess we still must have someone watching over us, seeing as we're all together again. As for the exit, that would be this:" He pointed over his right shoulder with his thumb showing them all the ladder he had been leaning on. "When everything happened, I figured it must have been a sewer or a underground cavern twisted sent everyone to: Someplace big, empty and hard to escape from. All I had to do was find a Manhole, and I was in. Although I didn't realise exactly HOW big this all was untill I was here, so I decided to "recruit" a few more people to help us get back together." Connor tried to Straighten himself up trying to walk over to the now human shades, but as he tried, his knees buckled underneath him and he collapsed to the floor. "Ahhh, No wait stay back." He told everyone, seeing the look of concern on their faces. "Please don't worry, I'm just a little dissoriented right now. It takes alot out of me to control 3 shades at once, So I need a few minutes of rest before I can move right. Actually," he paused looking around at everyone, many of whom looked worse than Virgils rat. "It seems I'm not the only one who needs some help here. By now, your probaly all sick of the sewers but I think it would be best if we stop and heal here. I know I won't be in traveling condition for a few more minutes and Twisteds presence here is long since gone, so we should be safe. Thorn, do you have enough medicine to treat every one temporarilly? It seems you and Heikichi got hit pretty bad, I don't want to push you both anymore than we already have." As everyone settled down for the moments, doing what they could to patch each other up, they all sat in a circle as Connor begin to talk again "Listen everyone, there's also another reason I don't want to head back to the surface yet. When I was up there, I was able to get a hold of Gabe. It seems everything around the city has gone mad at midnight, the shades trying to elimanate all the surviving or escaping members of the carnival. What little scouts we have above ground have been doing the best they can to hold them back, but the shades have been ruthless, killing people without any of the city being any the wiser. And there's something else. I found these scattered all around town only moments upon leaving the big top:" In Connors hand was a poster reading "Twistopia, Here to Stay! Join the Week of the Black Sun". The poster had many shades dancing with an ominous looking picture of the eclipse in the background. "I don't know how he was able to due it so fast, but somehow Twisteds found a way to literally make the whole city his play thing. There going to be strolling the city for a whole week, doing whatever the hell twisted wants. And unless my guess is wrong... well, I'll just come out with it then. Twisted wants someone, and he wants them dead. And trust me when I say he won't stop untill he has just that."
Lord of Chaos
Doki stood and looked to Maxwell smiling the brute walked to Maxwell "Yu k?" Doki mumbled his gibberish as he was now standing infront of Maxwell, Doki no longer seemed to be a brute, but more of a friendly man with a speach impediment, Doki looked intimidating yes, but the way he talked made him seem as if he was harmless. Doki stood tired he would not be able to use his powers again for more than a few hours, Doki looked at Maxwell with a friendly expresstion as he stood there, then Doki looked around trying to see another way out of the alley way that they were trapped in, Doki scratched his head, it was obvious Doki was not very smart, and that he most likely would not see a way out for awhile
Catterjune
"Conner!" At the sight of her leader collapsing, she reached out to help him, but he instructed them to stay back. So altruistic and kindhearted, worried more for the safety of the others. She nodded, agreeing with his reasoning. "All purpose healing powder! For both topical and uhh... tropical? use" she smiled knowingly, like she was the star of a commercial as she produced the pouch from behind her back. It could be applied to wounds as well as inhaled and produce the same, or similar effect. She handed it about the group, reminding them not to use too much and save some for their fellow teammate. When they had finished, only about half of what she started with left over. She was fine, just knowing that the group had used it and was feeling better. Hearing the sound of her leader's voice, she leaned in to listen in on Conner's words. (I assume the smaller text implies he's whispering.) Thorn gasped at the thought of a city ravaged by Shades, and them in the heart of it all. "But Conner, we can't just sit and hide here, cowering like a bunch of-" here eyes caught a glimpse of Virgil's rat. She made a queasy noise. "Err... can you get rid of that thing!?" She rubbed the back of her head, trying to reclaim her train of thought. "All those people in the city, the innocent unarmed civilians, they need our help! Heck, I can only imagine what Gabe's doing, pinned down by scores of Shades back in the hideout." Her mind imagined the boy in a dire situation, frightened as loud bangs of Shades pounding at the door kept him from thinking straight. A sound similar to rain hitting the roof as the clawed ones began to climb there way through. The loudness from the door caused Gabe, in her mind, to back up further. And that's when the windows broke, a clawed hand reaching in and clutching the NPC's shoulder. She shook her head. "Forgive me for disagreeing, but if there are people who need us, I can't just sit idly by and wait it out in the sewers!" She took a step forward towards Conner, eying the ladder behind him and hand on her right blade. "Move out of the way." She blinked before realizing what she had just said, nervously smiling and laughing, hoping she hadn't burned any bridges with the team leader. Letting her grip on her sword fall, she pressed her hands together and tilted her head cutely, leaning in slightly like a teenage girl sweetly asking her dad for a raise in her allowance. "P-please?" SPA7X
Watching her reaction, Connor did his best to stand between Thorn and the ladder. As she tried to get past, he gingerly grasped her shoulders, his cold hands holding her still but not in a way that implied hostility: more like deep concern. "Rosie... You're still nowhere near any condition to fight. And I'm not just saying this because you're one of our leaders, but because you're my friend as well." Marcus nodded walking up to the two. "As much as I hate to admit it, he's right. Even with the medicine, we're all still utterly fatigued. Haven't you considered the timing of this? We've probably been down here for hours which means the sun will be rising soon. Shades are kinda easy to spot in the daytime and unless I'm mistaken, Twisted wouldn't risk exposing his true motives to the public. It's not like that psychopath to change his gaming strategy, regardless of whatever game he thinks he's playing." "It's true." Connor continued. "He's even pulled some strings and written all of his killings off as some special relocation project the cities doing: I saw the message for it on the displays around town. Besides, our members may be short on numbers, but they're all tough. I mean we all trained them well, especially you Thorn, so in the long run you are helping to save everyone. But for now our main objective is to head back to base and make sure Gabe's still OK. Right now, he's the one in control of the scouts and patrols, plus he'd know how much damage these shades have actually done. I estimate about 400 had tickets for the big top, and from what I can guess, maybe 40 are still alive, including us. Right now it's best we keep it that way, and after that..." He looked her straight in the eyes, a fire clearly burning inside. "Then we'll make them pay. I promise." "Alright everyone," Marcus said turning to the lot of them. "It's time to go home." And with that they left the sewers behind. ------------------------------------------------------- "Ummm..." Maxwell look oddly at this bulking new ally... Well, he guessed it was an ally. And a he. But as soon as the man stopped fighting, the mask of this incredible savior was torn off, replaced by that of a humble giant with big brawn and heart, but almost little brains. As Doki paced around, trying to contemplate a way to escape, Max sighed and sat down on a rock. "And for a minute I thought I would actually be rescued. Well, so much for that dream..." Looking around, he saw no way to escape from the dark corridor, though he assumed it could be worse: He could be dead. As he stared defeated at the ground he started to see shadows, real flat normal ones, start to reappear, a sign that the sun was rising and given birth to the dawn. "Oh man... my dad will kill me if I'm not there when he gets up. This sucks." It was at that moment that a cold breeze passed by both himself and doki, causing them to freeze. "Tisk Tisk, Doki, what a pity. How would master Gabriel react if he found out you had gotten yourself stuck like this? It's not very honorable." The voice made Doki tense up, turning as he looked to the roof of a building behind him. Floating atop of it was a young boy, preppy looking with what appeared to be windmill blades spinning around bands on his ankles. The boy's arrogant smile reminded Doki of who this rather obnoxious self-proclaimed prodigy of wind was: Arc, the second youngest member of the Black Rebellion. ------------------------------------------------------- The Sin-troductions Commence Towards the top of a rather tall sky scraper, a bored looking man in a gray sweatshirt sat at a meeting-table of some sort, watching the strangely conflicting picture of the dawn sun rising over the twistopia fairgrounds, now completely locked up, through his large window. As he pondered whether this was a form of irony of not, a buzzer next him went off, before the voice of a middle-aged female began to talk. "Mr. Weaver, the party of seven you described has arrived. Shall I have someone escort them up?" Weaver sighed before replying. "Yes Cindy, please do. Oh and while your at it, please have Micky come and refill the Hot-Coco machine. I have a good feeling I'm going to need some sugar in my veins to deal with this crowd." As the conversation ended, Weaver leaned back in his chair and waited. It seemed that twisted had finally decided to gather the group, though for what he couldn't tell. All he knew was that he would have to deal with all seven of the people whom he both hated and respected more than any other beings in the universe in the same medium sized room for god knows how long. It was not an Idea he entirely relished. After a good 5 minutes of waiting, he heard a knock at the door causing him to tense up. "Who... Who is it?" There was a brief moment of silence. "...Sir, you order coco replacements?" Weavers stress lifted from him. "Oh good, it's only you Micky. Go a head then." The intern walked in with a bag of sugar and coco powder, which he took great care in filling up the corner machine with. "Will that be all sir?" Weaver nodded. "Yes, please return to your desk now." The intern felt proud of his minor accomplishment and turned to go back, to brag to his colleges about his successful sucking up. But as he opened the door, a different fate fell upon the boy. A hand with five razor sharp talons had pierced right through the lad before retreating back outside the door. And as the boy fell to the ground, the door moved fully agape revealing a Man with a completely crazed smile standing before him with a bloodied claw and 6 others by his side. "Knock, Knock, Weavy boy, Guess who?" But Weaver didn't respond simply looking down at the floor where a pool of blood had already begun to gather.
