"And we laugh and we laugh, for the flags are at half staff, and we laugh and we laugh and we-"

"Lord Twisted." The maniac on his throne, clad in black and brimming with madness, ended his strange chant like song and turned to the voice of interruption. "My name, says the man in gray. What could he possibly want today?"

The figure who addressed the mad man placed his hand over his eyes and sighed before starting to speak in his almost drone and annoyed voice.
"Actually "master", I want to know why YOU wanted me. I was quite preoccupied with transitioning the funds from tonight into your account. Well that and framing some government nobody, but that was more of a hobby. Anyhow, the shade who summoned me seemed to act as though it was of grave importance. Not that I could truly tell. They don't really talk much."

The Mad Man with the madder smile laughed before turning his whole body sideways in his chair, like a child who can't seem to get comfortable. "Shades talking? That's almost as mad as me, weavy boy!" In his mind, weaver groaned. How he disliked having a face to face chat with Twisted. Even though he had been with him the longest other than Void, he could never quite get used to his leaders "antics".
"But all seriousness aside my greedy friend, I've called you here for just the other day, while reading this pathetic little towns Obituary, I was struck with a marvelous idea, one I'm sure you'll love. Behold!"

Weaver looked and saw them. After that he immediately made up his mind. "No." Hanging loosely from twisted's hands were two puppets made to look like shades, made from shade dolls sold at a few of the little booths in twistopia. "Awww, come on Weavy! Hubris LOVES being a part of the show, so why not? And look, I've even found the perfect ones for you," Twisted reached around behind his chair, pulling out two small shades, presumably that of children. "Aren't they just adorable? I found them wandering the woods outside of town! Guess what: They're Orphans! Ha!"

Weavers face drooped. "What? When did you... Never mind, just please tell me that's not the ONLY reason you called me here."
"You're Right!" Twisted basically shouted, tossing the two shaded children behind him haphazardly. "Actually, what I need you for is to head into the city. "Persuade" their fatty little mayor to aid us with that thing we discussed earlier. Oh and pick up some chocolate mini donuts. I LOVE THOSE!"

Once more, Weaver sighed, a repeating trend. "Yes, Lord Twisted. I shall begin immediately." But as he went to turn and walk out, twisted started to speak again. "Oh and do be careful! Cause if there's one thing scarier than me in this universe," He paused a little for dramatic effect. "It's Politicians! Hahaha!"

The Black Rebellion:

By the time they had gotten there, the festival had already started. Shades danced and preformed in the streets, and hundreds upon hundreds of people where filling narrow pathways in this arcane festival. And the party had only just begun.

Connor stood alone at the front gate, silently think about all that they'd been through. Tonight could mean anything: It could be the day they finally figure out a way to defeat twisted for good, doing what he had failed so many times to do before. Or, in a worst case scenario, it could be the night they never return, leaving Gabe to pick up the pieces and inform the rest of the order, the likes of whom were still patrolling other parts of the city and world for stray shades. Either way, the only way to know would be to find out for himself, and with that thought in mind he casually walked into the crowd, His hood up, blending in.

Meanwhile, Marcus walked along side Virgil, the two of whom had entered the fair grounds on the east side through a gap in the fence behind a few tents. "Stay sharp." Marcus said, eyes scanning their every location, looking through the dark alleyways between game tents for any sign of movement. "We're on enemy grounds now. The enemy is everywhere, but look for those in the shadows. Those are the ones who will try to kill the unsuspecting, dragging them into the darkness. They are our prey."

(Wires don't come from his fingers they're tied to them in a way that he doesn't cut his fingers off)

Virgil smiled a crooked, evil-looking smile and immediately turned to his casual look, because an evil-looking 16 year old boy and a what, 18 or so year old boy would never attract attention. His wires were small enough so he rolled them up into 10 ring-like ornaments on his fingers. He looked about and his eyes targeted on a lone shade under the shadows of a tree. He pointed at it like a young boy would point if he wanted to go somewhere so it looked somewhat normal.

The blonde girl with the pale complexion continued entertaining the customers, juggling 3 small apples, and one rather grizzly decapitated head. The eyes were sewn shut, as was the mouth and the part that would be attached to the neck. It seemed like a freshly cleaved head too. This "Twisted" show certainly did go all out when it came to props to freaking out it's guests. Then again, what fun would a festival that advertised itself as "Chaotic" and "Fearful" be if it didn't feature a bit of the macabre?

Though most street performers carried and placed top hats for collecting funds, the girl did not. She seemed to perform only for the love of all the attention. And she had certainly amassed quite a bit of attention. At first, when she just passed one apple from her right to left, only a small crowd had gathered even as the number went up to 3, but once the head appeared people came flocking. Just two characters stuck out as she surveyed the crowd. Two teenage boys sneaking away into the shadows. She made a mental note to find out what they were up to, but for right now, she had a show to put on.

Before long, she began juggling the four items with one hand, solely her left, before tossing one apple to her right. She quickly ate it then casually tossed the core into the nearby trash can. Followed by the second and third. All she had left now was the head.

She tossed it up in the air, the same height she juggled it before, for about 2 or 3 passes, before throwing it over to her right. She looked at it eagerly, the ever present stone expression on her face. The crowd drew a breathe, eagerly awaiting to see if she'd go through with it. However, nothing entered her mouth, just one thing escaped. A lighthearted giggle, before she tickled the head underneath the chin.

Arching back, she cast the decapitated head up as high as she could, before it disappeared from sight, then touched her earring. It began to glow, and with a quick 'snapping' like motion, it seemed she had broken off an exact duplicate of the razor sharp throwing star.

She arched back slightly less, and threw the sharp point up and after the head. Seconds later, the head came crashing down, a sharpened blade sticking out of it's forehead, her earring.

The crowd erupted in cheers and applause, as she merely bowed politely. She had enough of this warm up and, if her suspicions were right, the main event would soon begin.

Heikichi walked with the crowd into the festival of the damned. The sun had set, the only source of light coming from small hanging lanturns, casting shadows every where. In the main area, a clown was performing juggling tricks with three apples and a severed head. Along the sides, there were various stalls selling dolls and other merchandise and offering a variety of midway games. All of these brought memories of his last visit to the festival. Heikichi felt another wave of regret, barely holding back tears. Heikichi separated briefly to try to calm his overactive emotions. Heikichi quickly returned, finding Thorn in the crowd.
"Do you knwo where we are going to check first? I say that we look around the tents. The shades should be preparing for the big event there and the guests don't go around there that much."

Slowly walking the accursed region, she passed by several booths selling merchandise or food. She had to do a double take, swearing she had just seen the pale faced clown child at another booth. She tried not to think of it, remembering how the girl's powers made her stronger and swifter.

The faces of all the unsuspecting masses was also unsettling. Like seeing cows being lead to the slaughter, as they wandered unaware of the fate that would befall. However, one familiar face caught her attention. "Heiki-chan!"

She placed her arm around his shoulder as she listened to him. "Well, the task right now is to get rid of as many shades as possible, but most importantly, do it in secret." She nodded, reminding the boy. "I think behind the tents sounds like a good idea."

She removed her arm from around his neck and clung onto his arm instead. "You lead the way."

Virgil looked around from the other shade and saw a lone shade around, but he had to resist the urge to pull his gun and shoot it right there and then. He turned around and looked about the area, if it were a normal carnival Virgil would have gone without a word, but it wasn't a normal carnival, it was Twistopia. Virgil then stopped in fear, about say 50 meters away the clown girl was throwing a severed head and hitting it with, actually he had no idea what the things she was throwing at the head was. Now Virgil really, really, REALLY, wanted to pull his gun and fire a clip of bullets into the shades and the clown. He took three deep breaths and went about the grounds with Marcus in tow, literally, Virgil had grabbed Marcus and was towing him around, where he seemed to have found Heikichi and Thorn. "Hey-a guys!" Virgil said like a teenager would if he met his friends.

The sound of a voice shook the girl a bit, as she clutched onto Hekichi closer. It took her a moment to recognize the voice she had heard. "Virgil-kun!" she responded, a quick wave.

She thought about it for a second. Old friends meeting at a festival. That certainly wasn't too out of the ordinary, right?

However, perhaps they were making quite a bit more noise then they need be. It wouldn't be good to draw attention, from either the shades or the clown girl nearby.

She pulled Hekichi towards the two, Conner and Virgil. She slightly lowered her head, if only to mask her lips from any would be lip readers. "Uhh, hey you two. What's up? Something the matter?"

The mime cleared her throat, rather loudly, and motioned towards the shade the group had been stalking, some distance away. Because of this, the surrounding spectators that were watching her turned their eyes towards the group, the Black Rebellion.

The shade slowly limbered past the group and up to the girl, with gaudy and over the top motions. When he had finally reached the girl, a box was wheeled in, from nowhere in particular. About 6 feet high and 3 feet wide, with 2 feet back.

A motion from the girl and it seemed she was imploring the shade to enter, a slight giggle to emphasize the point.

The shade stepped into the box, and Hubris stood in front of it. She rolled up her right sleeve, revealing no tricks, but quite the assortment of knives and explosives. A small gasp from the audience, and a giggle from her.

She placed a hand upon her chest as it began to glow then... suddenly, a grenade formed, with the same snapping motion she had performed earlier. Removing the clip, she opened the box just a bit then threw it in before closing it once again.

She blinked twice, and then shrugged. She jumped about ten feet into the air and landed on a circus tent before sprinting away as quickly as she could.

The crowd wondered whether or not to follow the girl's lead, as it seemed like it could be quite a dangerous trick when suddenly an explosion was heard, and smoke emanated from the box. The frame of the box was fine, however the walls seemed to have suffered irreparable damage.

The box continued smoking, when suddenly some movement could be seen. Hubris had emerged from the wreckage of the box, safe and sound. She bowed and curtsied politely as the crowd continued applauding.

(nit-pickyness activate! Connor and Virgil, change to Marcus and Virgil.)

People, Tents, shades, and the occasionally "kid who had too much" leaning over a trash can. Other than that, there was nothing of any particular interst on Connors side of the carnival, walking a few blocks away from marcus and his group. In his travels he had managed to dispatch 2-3 shades, casually catching them off guard in the alleyways, leaving the human victim Un-aware and unconsious. When they came to, they would have no recollection of who they were, or why they where there. He supposed it was better off though: Better than knowing the truth, anyway.

Walking swiftly, no one even stopping to glipse at his hooded form, he made his way over to his final destination: Twisted's big top. It was still early, but he knew if ANYTHING big were to happen while the carnival was going on, it would be here, the source of everything. But making his way around the bigest tent in the fair, amidst the crowd of oblivious people, he spoted something. No, someone. Someone who saw him, the moment did the same.

"Well, well, well. So you've finally caught up to us again, have you Connor?" Connor froze. The voice. He knew that voice, one he'd heard multiple times. But he was still infront of him, wasn't he? He glaced over his shoulder, a streak of gray hit his eyes. "Weaver. I'd ask how you've been. You know, If I actually cared." A slight laugh was the only reply he had been given.

"So true, so you. Let me guess: You and your little tag-alongs trying to "hunt" twisteds little toy's again? Looking for a weakness? And here I thought YOU of all people would know better than to stalk around dark alleyways. You know, after LAST time." Connor clentched his teeth and fists, still back to back with the gray clad sin. "Shut up, you little lap dog. I take it he told you everything huh? Everything about me? Then he also should've told you what I could do to you right now?" Muscles tensing, his shadow started to ripple.

"Relax, please. You know I'm not going to fight you now. Why should I? Twisted still doesn't know you exist, and that means I don't have to fight anyone. I still have a little Sloth in me after all. Don't you go ruining it on me now." Weaver casually brushed some hair out of his eyes, before continuing. "Besides, I think we both have our missons to acomplish now. And just some "friendly" advice: Stay for the after party. I guarentee you'll love it." Connors eyes widened. "After party? What do you-"
He went to face him but by that time, weaver was long gone.

The Black Rebellion

Marcus followed Virgil as he walked over to where the other two where. "Hello thorn, Heikichi. So, I'm guessing that's her huh? The legendary Twistopia's Hubris. Quite the entertainer..." He glaced curiously over at the girl, whose act was quite phenomenal, if not creepy. "We should move cautiously from now on. From the rumors I've heard about the girl she has... Interesting quallities. But will need a... Ah there we are, how's about a magic trick of my own." A few feet away, between there small group and the sin was a normal middle-aged man, a cigarette in one hand, a lighter in the other, attempting to light his smokes. Marcus focused on the flame, willing it, calling it to burn brighter. The unaware man barely even noticed when the flame engulfed his cigarette and continued to remain oblivious... That is, untill his sleeve caught on fire.

"Alright, now's the chance." As the crown of people started to seperate the BR from Hubris, Marcus turned and headed into an abondoned alleyway, beconing the others as he did.

Spotting the fire, Hubris smacked the top of her forehead in surprise and confusion, yet continued with the plastered on face. It seemed she'd have to track down the group later. Not that it would be too much of a challenge.

She reached into her left sleeve, before producing a rather small bucket. She frantically and, in a rather over the top performance, ran up to the man. In one quick motion, she spilled the contents of the bucket towards the man... a pile of confetti.

She giggled, a few nervous laughs from onlookers, before they realized this wasn't a part of the show. "STOP DROP AND ROLL!" someone yelled out, while another man helped to smother the fire with his jacket.

She breathed a sigh of relief, but figured she now needed more attention then him, or at the least to include the man in on an act to aleviate fears. And she had just the perfect one in mind...

---

"Heiki-chan! Virgil-kun! Don't get left behind you two!" she implored. She tugged at both of them by the wrist, leading them both down the alley way Marcus insisted.

Heikichi quickly dashed into the alleyway when the man's sleeve caught on fire. As he ran, he couldn't help but noticed that the clown Connor called Hubris was also at a doll shop at the end of the road to his right. Heikichi paused, rubbed his eyes and looked again, but when he did, she was gone from the shop without a trace. Heikichi dismissed it from his mind and continued running into the alleyway. He rushed ahead of the group and took point, drawing his handgun. When he rushed around the corner, he came face to face with a shade. The shade dropped the box it was carrying and charged. Heikichi swiftly side stepped the shade and shot it in the foot, causing it to fall on the ground. Heikichi followed up by stomping it on the back of the head with both feet. The shade lost it's shadowy appearance and returned to a human state.
"All clear!"

Skirting around the cured shade, their small group emerges outside of the alleyway. A ways behind them, the smoke began to fade, signalling the end of the mans burning self. But when they emerged, it seemed their location had been almost dicided by fate: Twisted's Big top, people laughing as the entered the evil doer's den.

"About time you guys caught up. I was almost begining to believe I'd have to see the show alone." Marcus turned and smiled, as Connor walked up to them all casually. In his hand were five tickets to Twisteds Grande finale, one for each of the group, plus his. "I "aquired" them from a shade at the ticket booth, who was taking his "Break". Figured we'd need them."

Virgil laughed in a strange, bloodthirsty, distorted manner, and took a ticket, "time to let the blood fly," he said with a hint of bloodlust in his voice. Virgil then did a simple hand gesture and cut down a shade about to ambush them, "so can we go now!? I'm very, very, VERY, bored," he said, opening the door to the Big Top of Hell, gesturing the group to come in. qwhile entering the big top himself.

(Err... four lines of text? o_0)

She was lead along the way until the group arrived at the inside of a circus of sorts. She heard Virgil speak. "Settle down Virgil." She put a gentle, motherly hand upon his shoulder. "If you jump into a fight without knowing the enemy's weakness, the only blood that'll fly will be your own."

She nodded, in an all-knowing type of fashion, though really she was just kind of worried of Virgil doing something foolish or over the top.

Her face brightened up a bit as Conner approached the group. She smiled. "So, what should we do now? Take a seat or scope out the area a little more?"

(Careful Final, my effort finger will start wagging.)

"You guys go in. The Finale will be starting shortly, and we don't know if Twisteds going to try anything funny during it. As for me, it would be dangerous for me to go now. Twisted knows me more than anyone of us, so I'll be watching outside. The extra tickets actually just an incase of emergency thing. So if you think you can handle yourself WITHOUT attacking," He directed that last part at virgil for obvious reasons, "I suggest you get your seats. It will start any minute now and remember: stay together. Last thing we need is someone getting ambused." Marcus nodded before taking his ticket and holding the door for everyone. "Don't dawdle everyone. This is now the closest to twisted we'll be able to get right now. Keep calm and controled."

As connor Watched them all enter the tent he kept up the smile, hoping they did believe he would be waiting outside.

As the last one entered his smile changed to a frown. He glanced over each shoulder once more, before running of, circling around the rather large tent. Finally he found his target: in the back of the tent were multiple shades loading things, assumably props, into the tent. He smirked. This would be easier than he thought. As a lone shade passed by, he grabbed it, dragging it into the shadows.

When the shade finally emerged from the shadows, it regrouped with the others, the group continuing inside. But what those other shades didn't seem to notice, or perhaps were unable to altogether, was that the shade had become... different from before. It was now not black, but gray in color, a harsh contrast noticable by any human eye. And as they all entered the tent, it struck out, eliminating the other shades by stabbing them with it's elongated blade like shadow arms before turning back and waiting at the door for it's new master.

"Good work. Now Stand guard Anakora. Let no shade enter. And don't be seen by humans either, especially not the sins. If one approches, run and hide. Survive, and I'll restore what you've lost." The female shade known now as Anakora simply bowed to her new master, than slinked back into the shadows, breifly watching as Connor walked away quietly.

"well, you heard the man you." Thorn shrugged, sort of hoping Conner would join them soon.

"Come on! I see a bunch of empty seats in the third row!" She lead the way, slowly walking up. She wondered how a packed house like this could possibly managed to have empty seat, but decided not to think much of it.

"Ladies first." She giggled, walking down the row and planting her seat about 4 chairs away from the wall away from the nearest person.

She looked left and right before reminding. "Pay attention the exits, in case it comes to that."

(I'm unsure if that's the correct way to conjugate "hope". <_<)

(Cue Hubris's Theme)

As the curtain came up, one could see the cute little clown girl at the center stage.

She balanced herself upon a 1 meter diameter ball. She was encircled by ten skeletons. It all seemed fairly innocuous at first, until one noticed the ball she was standing atop. It appeared as though 10 or so nude contortionists had managed to squeezed themselves into a glass ball and were now pressing themselves against the glass, faces frozen in fear and horror. Also, since I'm sure somebody out there must know, there genitalia was "Barbie-like".

She slowly maneuvered to the skeletons and reached inside there rib cages, producing a still beating heart which seemed to be glowing. She did this for all 10 skeletons, juggling the ten hearts for a bit before beginning the finale of her act.

Still upon her ball of human skin and still juggling, she went all the way to the "back" of the skeleton circle and began rotating clockwise around them, knocking them over with her ball. As she did, the ball became smaller and smaller and, if one were to look over they'd see the skeletons were no longer skeletal.

As she ran them over, they appeared to transform into ten humans, or at the least ten human corpses, face down of course so one could not see... something that needn't be seen.

As she approached the tenth, one could see it was just one guy curled up into a ball. After the tenth skeleton was run over, the ball disappeared, leaving Hubris to stand where she began, still juggling the ten hearts.

Not moving from her spot, she caught all ten hearts, balancing one on each finger, then fired them back and the "corpse" like people on the ground. After a few seconds, it seemed a few of them began to stir and become awake.

The audience roared with applause, wondering how exactly such a magic trick was accomplished. Since she had used the entire third row, perhaps they were planted? But alas, poor Hubris never got to see the full attention she sorely wanted, as the lights dimmed and the curtain closed. It seemed the grand finale was about to begin.

As the curtain closed around the center ring (It's a Big Top after all), all light seemed to dim. All around people were shrouded in darkness, blind to the people around them and to the center stage itself. No sound was heard, other than the murmering of a few people, but even that was mute as though the darkness was actually obscuring the sound itself. Everywhere, fear and anticipation grew in the audiance, especially for those in the third row. The sound of what appeared to be ropes snapping was heard, as the curtains ropes were cut and it dissolved amidsts the unseeable darkness. And then, after the fear and nervousness had grown to it's max, when people could no longer bare to wait, light came back to the area: Red, sinister lights, from crystals mounted on giant collumns in the ring.

In the center of the ring now stood not an empty field or stage, but a giant urn surrounded by shades adorned with giant razor sharp "claws", each of which were nealing around the dark urn. With the light came music as a deep base and gothic organ started to play. And as it played, the shades each rose unifiedly. They began their ritual dance, unrehersed and undirected, as though puppets guided by dark forces. With each base beat, the crystals pulsed, as the shades "blood dance" continued. Eventually the tempo had tripled since the beginng and the shades had stoped, and raised their bloddied claws to the urn.

Behind the door the shades all had entered from, connor stood watching. He stood and peered at this preformance. "What the hell? This isn't how twistopia fest's usually run unless... oh god please tell me It's not..."

Dark Smoke pillared from the Urn. It gathered and pooled, bent and twisted untill it took the shape of the upper torso of a man/demon, eyes glowing red as the crystals. The demon man was only the beginning however. Another figure rose up out of the urn, one much smaller but easily as evil and took his place in the palm of the shadow smoke demon.

"Welcome everyone, To Twistopia!" Twisteds powerfull voice echoed without need of a microphone. "It has seemed to me that you all came here looking for a thrill. LOOKING for the very thing the sane would run away from, TURN AND HIDE! well, who am I to stop you? stop you from getting what you came for? SO let us make a toast my little friends, to Fear! To Insanity! but most of all, To Twistopia!" The crowd errupted into frenzy, enthralled by the mainiacs words of power. "And now ladies and gentlefreaks, I say to you all as I have said to so many others before you:" The grand pause, he built up a breath before smiling as bright as he could and at the same time screaming at the top of his lungs:

"DIE!!!"

The shades all pivoted around, facing the audiance before they each rushed them, the lights going out a second before they reached them. Everyone would hear the screams, the sound of blades slicing through flesh and bone, but none would see anything as the darkness shrouded the murder and bloodshed. And when the lights went on, there was no trace of blood or conflict. In fact, there were no traces of many audiance members, twisted or the shades: They had vanished, leaving the big top full of confused people.

"What the hell? This isn't..." Marcus began to panic realising the only explanation "EVERYONE GRAB-" But he would not have the chance to finish, as everyones seats, including the BR's fellout, sending them all plumbiting to the dark abyssful sewers below...

(Will edit this post to include new BR members. Currently RP'ing BR may respond.

The little annoying clown girl's show was creepy and unnerving, but certainly not as frightening as when the lights came down. A feeling of the unknown, of anticipation and dread had begun to grip her, as she found herself with her arms draped around Heikichi. "Y-you okay?" she questioned. Perhaps hearing he was alright would help to allieviate her own fears.

Before long, the lights had returned and the man, the myth, the legend stood before them. Letting go of her little brother, she reached for her blade, hidden behind her back and held in place by her belt. At his final word, she unsheathed her sword but alas, it was no use. The lights were suddenly shut down, yelling was all she heard.

For some unexplained reason, a few had been left standing. Several audience members were left, along with the Black Rebellion as well. She heard Marcus's voice, then began to call out as well, I assume in the darkness since there's no mention of the lights turning back on.

"Virgil-kun! Heiki-ch-" but before she could get to finish, she felt a sudden falling sensation. The floor beneath them had given way. She scrambled to find something to hold onto but it was all in vain as the darkness had swallowed her.

Heikichi was rather disgusted by the clown girl's show, having not seen it before. He felt Thorn grip him with anxiety, almost allowing him to feel the same as she did. The lights darkened, the finale was upon them. Heikichi reached for his gun, ready to shoot Twisted when he had the chance. Heikichi gripped his gun tighter and tighter as Twisted made his speech to the audience. The demon's grimace burned into Heikichi's mind. This was the person who took Naoko away from him. The one who destroyed his reputation. The one who caused so much grief. As soon as Twisted shouted and the audience started screaming, Heikichi drew his gun and fired at Twisted as fast as he could, the sound being drowned out by all the commotion. He heard his name being called out by Thorn. When he turned to look, he suddenly found himself in freefall, plummeting to the sewers...

Tubling down, deep into the abyss the large groups of men, women and teens fell, sliding down through idividual pipelines before each emerged in their own little chamber, separate from each other. Torches were lit around the walls of the abnormally large sewers, burning continuously even with the humidity and dripping of water. As each member of the BR came to, they would come to alone in these dark lit chambers, the only sound that of water droplets falling from the celling and hitting the dirty river and stone floors bellow. Marcus was no exception.

As he opened his eyes and sat upright, he quickly glanced around, seeing the round stone room with four different pathways and the tube on the ceiling, presumably where he had come from. And besides the few bumps and bruses and mental trama, he was mostly fine... but he was not so sure about the others. There was no telling how far apart they had landed, and with no means of communication they were all blind. So working on random instinct, he decided to choose a pathway and stick to it, hoping for a favorable result.

-------------------------------------------

Thorn and Heikichi would both land in different chambers, but the likes of which had an air pipe on the ceiling connecting the two. This would mean they would at least be able to talk to each other, even though seeing or meeting up was currently impossible. But equaly unfortunate was how they would not yet get a chance to talk as a group of shades (Clawed ones from the ceremony for Thorn, and ones with elongated whip like arms for Heikichi) loomed over their unconcious forms waiting for them to strike...

-------------------------------------------

When Virgil would land he would already be snapped to concousness for he had been the one to land in the water channel of the underground water way/sewer. Sliding down into the cold, mostly clean water of the drinkable channel, he would resurface awake and full alert. But as alert as he was, what he would not see coming is two pairs of dark shadowy arms reaching for his ankles, to dragg him back down.

-------------------------------------------

Outside of the water channels and above ground, the city had also began to start to crawl with shades. Those who had not gone to the Finale and who had tried to escape where all being hunted down by the shades, especially for one unlucky boy about 14 who ran through the alleyways as he was chased by 4 shades. "Damnit max, why did you have to go? You could've been at home tinkering if it wasn't for that stupid ticket... And I didn't even want to go!" As he ran through the alleys at his top speed, he was unaware that 2 other beings were present, watching his plight. They weren't just normal people either. They were Black Rebellion patrol team Doki and Hikiyashi, awaiting their perfect moment to strike...

Virgil landed on his two feet, somewhere...strange, with running water, cold, but running. He cupped his hands and and took a drink, 'so it's drinkable' he thought. Then something grabbed at his leg, or to be more specific, his ankle, no wait, another one, both grabbing for his ankles pulling him somewhere he probabaly didn't want to go. Virgil fought to stay above water, each second getting pulled under by the things that had grabbed him. Water filled his lungs, he was starting to lose consciousness, he couldn't use his wires; they're useless underwater. He reached for his gun, 'bullets and...guns should wo..rk underwa- water,' Virgil thought, losing his consciousness from loss of air. He cocked his gun. Sort of. And fired afew bullets at the things or whatevers that he couldn't see underwater, he presumed they were shades so he aimed again, for what looked like their heads. And fired. Contact on one of the shades with four bullets, the grip lessened and let go. He aimed for the other's presumed head, and fired afew bullets, none hit. Virgil got his head up to the surface and took some breaths before getting pulled back in. He jerked his leg up, and got the shade out of the water, he reloaded his gun and emptied his magazine, he got the shade and got above water and took a bunch of deep breaths, and smiled before laughing maniacally, almost like he was insane.

Doki watched the boy running in the ally and spoke aloud in some form of gibberish only he understood, he waited till the boy had past him and the shades were almost infront of him, at this point Doki lept infront of the shades holding both arms out wide shouting some form of gibberish, his muscles tensed as one of the shades got within reach, he shot out a hand grabbing the shade's neck and began to shake the shade furiously trying to kill the shade, Doki then began to flail the shade like a bat swatting at the other shades trying to beat them senseless

From the small flickers of light, the red headed young woman could manage to see her little brother. "Heiki-chan!" she called out. Producing the sword behind her, she began to quickly unwind the ribbons upon her blade. While she was momentarily distracted with the blade, she didn't see the wall coming up that separated them.

"W-wha-" was all she could managed to say before landing, hard on an angled surface. Had she not landed on her bottom, she'd have probably suffered more damage, especially if not for the pouches of powder she kept behind her belt.

However, the sudden shock caused one to burst, the green and poison filled one. The poison thankfully had no effect on her, however that didn't mean she was immune from trouble. In the same way that sand would have no effect in poisoning a human, her poison also didn't poison her, however like sand it still clouded the air and made breathing difficult. She began coughing and wheezing, shutting her eyes tight and not particularly keeping track of where her right blade had gone, other then remembering to tie it on her metallic gauntlets.

Under normal circumstances, she'd have probably tried to slow down her descent, however with the cloud of poison all about her, she made no effort to slow herself, and actually seemed to actively be working to pick up her speed.

Sliding down a pipe-like structure, she just hoped for it to end quickly. She was coughing and wheezing, her eyes were tearing, and her lower back was in quite a bit of pain.

Finally landing, after about a 7 foot free fall, she struggled to make out where she was.

Among the flickering flames she manages to see shadows. Worse then shadows, shades. All pressed against the wall, they seemed to be staring her down, waiting for any sign of movement to finish her off. But she wouldn't give them the opportunity.

She stood suddenly, pulling on the blade in her right towards her. Without warning, a shot of pain caused her to double over, probably from the original fall. The shades rushed forward encircling her ever closer, until they were only about a meter or less from her, and closing fast.

Thorn's eyes grew wide as she prepared for the worst. She took in a deep breathe and shielded her face with her gauntlets, when suddenly a rain of powder came down from overhead.

The shades were doused with it, coughing and wheezing in their own peculiar way, much worse then Thorn ever did. Seeing this as an opening, she held her breathe and quickly tied her left blade in place. Bearing the back pain for as well as she could, she spun her blades around her left to right and parallel to the ground, pirouetting on one foot with arms stretched wide. The blades violently went to work, butchering the shadowy ones.

Finishing her work, she breathed heavily, the poison filled air beginning to dissipate.

Looking around, she worried for the rest of the group. "Hello?" She called out. The adrenaline that had caused her to forget her back pain was beginning to fade. "Is anyone there?"

She reached for her healing powder, taking out a handful and bringing it to cover her mouth. She began breathing deeply and slowly. With any luck, the minor muscle fatigue would pass.

Heikichi found himself sliding down a sewer pipe at breakneck speeds, like a some kind of demented concrete waterslide at the water park. He tried grabbing onto the sides of the pipe to slow his descent, but all he managed to accomplish was flipping onto his belly. He managed to flip himself back onto his bottom before being launched out at the end of the pipe. Heikichi had fallen like this once before and he knew that to land safely, he would have to make a rolling landing. He shifted his weight forward right before he landed, sending his body into an uncontrolled forward roll when he hit the ground. After flipping three times, Heikichi managed to bring himself to a stop. He coughed as he got up. His body hurt all over, his legs and arms in particular, which took the brunt of the impact. Luckily, Heikichi didn't feel the familiar pain of a broken bone and he didn't seem to sprain anything important.

Heikichi found himself in a room lined in concrete that led to a dark tunnel. Before he could react, a tentacle-like arm burst from the dark tunnel ahead, smacking Heikichi in the gut, making him keel over in pain. Heikichi scrambled away from the tunnel and took out his gun aiming it at the tunnel. Slowly, shades with freakishly enlongated arms emerged into sight. Heikichi pulled the trigger, but the gun just made a feeble clicking sound.
"Sh*t!" was all Heikichi could say. A shade reared up to attack and Heikichi could only put up his arms in defence. Heikichi was hit hard with three successive strikes, the third sending him into the wall. Heikichi coughed hard as he kneeled down, trying to recover. The shades charged forward, hoping to surround Heikichi. Suddenly, Heikichi leapt forward from his kneeling position and tackled down one of the shades. The shade attempted to force Heikichi off, but it's long arms proved useless at such close quarters fighting. Heikichi reared up and started punching the shade into submission MMA style. The other two shades managed to strike Heikichi off of their ally, but it was too late and the shade slowly started to transform back into it's original form. Heikichi was sent flying again, but this time he managed to recover, landing on his feet. The shades started using their superior range to strike at Heikichi. Now fully aware of the situation, Heikichi nimbly avoided the shades' whipping strikes before tackling another and beating it into submission.

When Heikichi got off of the thoroughly beaten shade, he was hit in the gut and the head by the last shade, knocking him back and sliding across the floor. Heikichi was exhausted, fumbling for his handgun and reloading it in his prone position. He saw the shade about to finish him off and he put out his arms in a feeble attempt to try to block. Heikichi thought this was the end. The shade sent both of it's arms at Heikichi. Instead of hitting their target, they seemed to reverse direction just a few inches away from Heikichi's hand and flew into the wall. Heikichi didn't wait for the shade to figure out what happen and shot the shade in chest five times. The shade fell backwards and made a splash in the water. Heikichi got up, out of breath, beaten and exhausted. He checked himself for wounds. He had a large slash wound across his chest and another smaller one on his right cheek. They weren't bleeding too bad, so Heikichi just ignored them as he got back into a standing position.

He was incredibly tired, having fought off three shades after a hard landing on concrete. He started to slowly limp forward in an attempt to get somewhere before hearing someone calling out. It was a female voice, but Heikichi couldn't tell who it was. Heikichi shouted back.

"Hey! Someone there?!"

As Hikiyashi fell down the bottemless abbyss he pulled out his three swords and pictured in his mind grinding his two swords on the wall,Its my only chance...
He stabbed hs swords ito the wooden wall, but then one of his swords broke!
"I'm going to die!! No,not now!" he grabbed his sword out of his mouth and created an illusion of him jumping out of the wall,"That's it!",he took his sword and stabbed it into the wall again and used his other sword and cut up the wall,he jumped through the hole...He was on solid ground. "What next will Twisted do?" he muttered as he walked down the corridor...
It was almost identical to the shaft but he could walk instead of fall. He someone coming down the corridor,He pulled out his two remaining swords getting ready for the possible threat...

Breathing deeply, the red head coughed. Taking in a powdery substance was rather awkward and made her feel peculiar, but it was one of the quickest ways to get it into the bloodstream without injecting it.

However, a familiar voice snapped the young lady out of her moment.

"Heiki-chan!" she called out, a more eager look about her. The sound of his voice and the knowledge that he was alive had probably done more for her health then the spice pouch of healing greens. "Hei-Heiki-chan?" Her gloved hands felt all around the wall near where she heard his voice. "Where are you?" She looked around, not particularly sure where she was either. "Where are we?" And of course, the most important question. "How do we get out?"
