When did the first halo come out then?

I began playing in July when I got MW1 and MW2. I did play some of COD3 a few years ago, but was my friends game.

I reached second prestige yesterday.

Um. 2001 - 2002 I believe.

I started playing FPS games last December when I got MW2 for Christmas. My KD/R would actually be higher, but I was so bad when I first got it. For a few months straight I got less than 10 kills and over 10 deaths EVERY round. It's a wonder that my KD/R is even above 1 right now...

And I'm currently rank 31 on my tenth prestige. ;D

I can't understand how people can maintain a life while still being that high a level.

Well, my friend, you go out and maintain your life during the day, and play CoD all night when you get in. If I play from 11pm - 1am at night, that's a lot of play time and it doesn't interrupt with having friends. And plus, I've had this game for almost a year. I could have taken baby steps, for lack of a better term, and still be close to the level I'm at now. Especially now that I'm decent at the game. Levels come quickly when you go 10 - 15 kills positive each round.

Black Ops came out today, I officially hate anybody who has it until I get it >=3

Yeah, read some good reviews, read that the graphics in multiplayer isnt as good as MW2 but still great overall.

I wonder if Black Ops has the map packs.

Point acheived. Except that because my parents are strict on bedtimes (which sucks), I have no chance playing from 11-1 =P

If it makes you feel any better, I can stay out as late as I want too. This past Saturday night I didn't even come home. AND I DIDN'T EVEN TELL MY PARENTS THAT I WAS SLEEPING OUT. Lmfao.

Lmfao. If it makes you feel any better, I have to buy Black Ops MYSELF because I'm a "grown man". Did I mention I'm currently unemployed? :\

I have to buy BO myself too, if it wasn't for my birthday. Your point is? BTW, how old are you?

Never mind, your profile says you're 18. I'm turning 15 in 3 weeks. So there's a difference =P

I'll be 19 in less than a month. I didn't have to buy it by myself though. My older brothers went out and bought themselves a copy and got me a copy as an early birthday gift. :P

I've yet to play anything besides Team Deathmatch. I'm probably going to check out some of the wager matches and stuff today. The combat training is actually pretty fun for the lulz, but it's NOTHING like real online play. There is 10x more camping in Black Ops than there was in MW2 (Good job there, Treyarch). I've yet to check out the campaign either. I did, however, check out the Nazi Zombies. It's pretty fun, but it's a lot harder than the NZ on World at War. The zombies are smarter and now there's zombie dogs and some other weird s***.

As for the online multi-player, it's a bit aggravating. It's not as bad as MW2, but some things just piss me off. People camp SO MUCH MORE because they want to preserve their killstreak because now air support and whatnot don't add to the KS. The MP5K and the AK74U are just the most annoying guns in the game. They're stupidly overpowered and the AK74U is more like an assault rifle than a sub-machine gun. All the n00bs run around with them and just trash other people because those guns could make a kid with no hands good at the game. The currency system is awesome/awful at the same time. Some aspects of it are GREAT ideas. For example, when you unlock a gun you can just buy whatever attachments you want. If you like suppressors, you can just buy one instead of having to wait until you have 75 kills with the weapon. However, the system has its cons. Now, instead of unlocking pro-perks by just completing the challenges, you have to do the challenges THEN choose if you want, or have enough money, to buy the pro version of the perk. Did I mention the challenges are SO much harder to complete than the ones in MW2? Yeah. They could have left that part out. Now I have to bust my ass doing challenges and saving up money to buy pro perks. :\

I could go on for days about the pros and cons of this game so I'm just going to stop here. LOL. Sorry, JG. If I lived closer to you, I'd lend you the money to buy it. xD
