This contest is no ordinary one. For those who are obsessed with making realistic cards that will or will not one day be in the game: you're wrong here, your contest is next door. For everyone who plays this game just for fun: Welcome, to the

 

„We make this game fun again“-Contest!

 

Imagine the following scene. A bunch of friends came over, you're playing video games, drink one or two beer and have a good time. Then, a black out! The beer is still cold, but you have no internet to search for funny videos, no movies to watch and no games to play. We all know that board games are for kids, and going out playing football? Come on, you're kidding me! You don't even have music! But you happen to have some spare Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards in a corner. What can you do with those? Gnah, the rules are to complicated to explain, you're way to drunk, and the overall game is boooring. That's at least what your friends say. Now it's your turn: Prove. Them. Wrong!

This is a 1 round contest: 1 judge (me), 1 winner (you)! What cards am I expecting? Simple. Look at this one: Yu-Jo Friendship. Recognize it? It makes you do things that don't belong in the card game, but can heavily impact the outcome of said game. Now all this game needs is more of them. Make Yu-Gi-Oh! something different, screw the rules as you never did before! Summon this Level 9 monster without any tribute, and if your opponent doesn't notice it in the first 10 seconds, this card is legally on the field! As long as this card is on the field, once per turn, put 1 Drink! Counter on it. In your Standby Phase, both players drink 1... glass of fresh apple juice (hey, this is PG friendly :P) per Counter! I don't care, just do it! Though there are some restrictions (see the rules), you can create whatever you want that makes this game more fun!

I may give out 1 or 2 additional Reps if I see some card I really like that does not belong to the winner, but that's my decision in the end.

 

 

One more thing: You can make as many cards as you want, 1 or 20 bajillion, and of any kind (Monster, Spell, Trap), as long as they fit together and have a common theme. Just make sure to put them in spoilers and add the Lore if necessary... don't overdo it ;)

 

All I want now is that you have fun while creating this cards. I'm dead serious. Have fun, or else... there won't be cake...

 

This thing won't start before we have at least 10 contestants. The more the merrier! If we have the desired number, I'll probably judge 2 or 3 days later. If any more people want to judge, PM me, I'd be glad to have some help. And now: BRING IT!

Man did i make a fun card to play, one condition. You must know the entire Pokemon theme song by memory!

 

This cards effect cannot be negated by the effect of a spell, trap, or monster. You may only play this card if you know the entire Pokemon theme song by memory. Sing the entire Pokemon them song. If the person you are dueling interrupts you, they lose 5000 life points. If they do not say anything, both you and your opponent gain 3000 life points. If your opponent sings along, you lose 5000 life points.

Lore:

When this card is activated, you can set 3 Pokemon Trading Cards face-down in 3 of your unoccupied Spell and Trap Zones. These cards are treated as Spell Cards. Once per turn, you can flip over 1 face-down Pokemon Trading Card to pick up the top 3 cards of your Deck. Your opponent selects one of them, and adds it to your Hand. Shuffle the remaining cards into your Deck. When all Pokemon Trading Cards you control are flipped face-up, remove them from play. During the turn where all Pokemon Trading Cards are flipped face-up, you can remove from play Synchro-material monsters in your Deck to Synchro Summon 1 Synchro monster from your Extra Deck.

I won't judge on OCG, unless I (and that's only me) am unable to understand that cards effect. But if it's that bad, grammar is probably bad as well, which is part of the things I judge. I'll adjust the rules as I see fit, but for now, I don't see any rules that must be adjusted.

Draw a card, then shuffle it into your deck and search your deck for any card while saying "Wait, i don't want that one", then put it in your hand. if your opponent says "Wait, What" at least 10 seconds after adding the card to your hand, return the card to your deck and shuffle it. Then take 4000 points of direct damage. If they do not, add the card to your hand.
