"Fast Cars and Freedom" - Certainly one of his more up-tempo songs. You hear the chorus repeat a lot, but that adds to the effect of the song. The guitars play a big role in this song, and they keep you interested - especially during their 10 second solo. Great song.[8/10]

"My Wish" - Bass guitar and piano at the beginning are in complete harmony. The acoustic guitar adds to the effect. Listen deep to find the melody of the flutes. The acoustic guitar and fluts, along with the electric guitar on accasion, are a perfect blend. Although a more slow-paced song, if you listen deeply, it becomes faster, and you'll want more. If you listen to this song on Youtube (such as right now), you're not going to hear the full depth of the song. (Sorry - this was the best I could find.) The ending with the electric guitar makes a joyful ending, making you feel like you're ready for anything. This is my favorite song, and I know all the words to it. [10/10]

"Life is a Highway" - Go electric guitars! This is your song! The chorus with the electric guitars is an up-beat tempo, and it's an all feel-good song. Gary does some great singing in this song, and I wouldn't doubt it. If you've been in High School, or you're graduating Middle School, it gives you that great feeling of awesomeness. Truly a great song. [7/10]

"These Days" - Slower, more to the heart. Gives you good memories. Very calming and relaxing. (Again, I point out - Youtube doesn't have the clearest quality songs) The chorus is absolute love. Gary, though younger in this song, still succeeds in this song. The repeat is heard moderately, then it's all you hear at the end. I love the rain effect to the video. I give them an applause on this song. [8/10]

"Why" - The piano is the whole part of this song. Sure, it gives you a sense of despair in some parts, but it gets you to thinking - why? Set memories are unleashed in boatloads as Gary sings this beautiful melody. The chorus is sung just right, and comes in at just the right times. A 10-second solo by the electric guitar leads to just the piano and Gary left alone, which eventually blossoms out to the most beautiful part of the song. I'm writing a play off this song - so far, I'm not even 1/4 done, and I'm already 15 pages in a a very small font. This song will leave you with two things - Peace, and relaxation. [9/10]

Got rejected by that special someone? This song's for you. "What Hurst the Most" has the perfect blend of wording for rough relationship times, break-ups, or rejections. Especially rejections. Gary's singing throughout the song is in perfect harmony with the electric guitars. If you're had an awesome day, you're feeling on top of the world, etc., then I wouldn't recommend listening to this song. (Unless you're a Rascal Flatts "Super" Fan, such as myself) If you've had a rough time, listen to the words and beat of this song- I guarantee that 75% of the time (75/100 People), it will describe what you feel or make you feel better. Rating: [9.5/10]

Well you made a lot of thread about Rascal Flatts already so I put them all together. Feel free to bump it whenver you add something.

Eh What Hurts the Most is a damn good song.:) Otherwise I'm not really drawn to this type of music, it reminds me a tiny bit of One Republic at some moments but I wouldn't listen to either of them all the time. My Wish was really pretty though and I think I hear the chorus somewhere...

But What Hurts the Most is the best IMO, I'll probably get shot by saying that I didn't know the original before.xD I only knew the Cascada cover so far which is totally different but I'll admit, the original is really a lot better. It's pretty with the violin and all.
