[b]Adopted Name:[/b] Saint Dane
[b]Title in R.P.820:[/b] Halla's Musician
[b]Personality:[/b] Dane is normally a quiet person, due to not wanting to draw attention to himself. He doesn't really have a wish to help those who need it, unless of course it's someone who could be considered a ‘friend.' He is loyal to the Cirque de la Mask, but he does not feel as if he is forced to be. He's generally a nice person, if not more then a little lazy. He has a very special saying to himself, “When all fails, Halla is reaching the convergence." Of course, does this ever really mean anything? No. It's just something he has started to randomly spout one day after being bored. Being bored is easily the most common feeling he gets, mainly when he's busy doing something completely stupid to him. During his brief moments of madness, he becomes a lot more talkative then he normally would, although he tends to keep a calm demeanor no matter the situation. The only time he raises his voice is when he is talking and wants to be sure he is heard.
[b]Bio:[/b] Dane started out just roaming the New Forum, doing nothing in particular. He was born to a relatively well off family, although they were by no means rich. Over time, he would find that people would randomly disappear. One of these people was his sister, whom he never saw again after that. No one knows why, who, or where they disappeared to, but Dane went to look. He would travel, and travel, and continue to travel in search of her. After months of searching, he noticed his normally brownish eyes had become a startling electric blue. A few days later, he felt taller, and a little stronger then he normally would. When he returned home a month after that, nobody could reconize him, and he noticed why. He no longer looked like his normal self, as he had transformed into an older looking person, known as Fugue. Of course, he could tell right away, as Fugue was one of two of his favorite characters in the game Eternal Sonata. After this, he quickly fled the town, and came across a group of similar people, and slowly gained use of his powers. Although he believed he would get the hang of it quickly, he has not. He has control, but it takes him a little more energy then the others to fully transform.

[b]Changes to personality:[/b] The major change at this time is that he becomes much more sarcastic, and dark sounding. He is also prone to randomly becoming enraged, normally right before he attacks someone. Other then this, he also becomes cocky, but not to a fault.
[b]Abilities:[/b]
DARK PRESENCE: With this, Fugue shoots a wave of dark energy out at the opponent. If it hits, no damage is caused, but a larger ray comes from the sky and damages him and anyone right next to him.
BLOOD SCENT: This is a two part attack. The first section of it has Fugue launch towards the enemy, and slash at it two or three times. The second part he swings with all his might, followed by a brief moment where the area around him and his opponent shrouds in darkness. It is not impossible to see in, but it is harder to make out where Fugue and his opponent are.
J'ACCUSE: When he starts this attack, he quickly twirls his sword at the opponent, then rockets forward to stab them. If it misses, he can be caught off guard rather easily.
[b]Weapons:[/b] The long red blade as seen in the picture above. No special traits are augmented with the sword, unless you count the length.
[b]Fighting Style:[/b] Quick strikes in a wide range, and thanks to the length of that sword, it’s possible. Each stroke must be as powerful, if not more then the last, or it isn’t worth attacking.

[b]Game/Show From:[/b] Game: Eternal Sonata

[b]Changes to Personality:[/b] When he is in this form, he becomes even less talkative then he normally is. He also starts to think more logically and musically minded. He also has a habit of staring out into space, and talking as if everything is a dream. Over then that, he stays mostly the same.
[b]Abilities:[/b] This form is where his abilities increase.
TRI-CLEMENTIA: A rather powerful healing spell, although it takes time to charge and use. It can heal multiple people, but the effectiveness is then lowered.
LEGION FULMINANTE: This attack drops a lighting bolt on the target and a small range of area near it. Once again, it takes a little while to charge.
ORZEL BIALY: He has to be near the target to use this attack. This attack collects aura and strikes upward with them. The closer he is, the more damage he does. But he does have to rest a little after using it.
PHANTOM PAIN: With this, he can attack and deal small damage while lowering the power of the target if it hits.

[b]Weapons:[/b] He uses a simple baton as seen in the picture.
[b]Fighting Style:[/b] In this form, he once again uses quick strikes to slowly charge his bigger attacks. He has to strike to charge a large amount, or he can rest and charge a small amount. If he gets hit while resting he stops charging the small amounts.

After weeks, no months, Dane was still wandering around in a forest. He was not lost, per say, he was just not sure of where he was. “North of here is where I came from... I think. Um. I could keep heading south, and hope that I could find something that could lead me to where all the missing are... Or I can just go back." As he said this, he realized how foolish it would be. His village is not fond of outsiders, and as of now he sure did not look like himself. He continued heading south, and eventually he came across a small path, and a clearing. Sitting down to rest, Dane grabbed the small bag he was carrying and pulled out some bread. He was running out of provisions, even though he just secured some more a few days ago. The village he stopped at was not one he had ever been in, but he knew it was near his home.

“Maybe, just maybe. I can get home before next week. I'll have to cut down on the breaks though." He said this as he stood back up, the bread not lasting long at all. Quickly, he started down the path, hoping to see someone from the village...

... A week later, he arrived back in the small village. “Home at last." He said as people looked at him oddly. [i]Why is everyone looking at me... It's all the same sideways look...[/i] When he arrived at the pub that was located on the far side of the village, he entered and nobody bothered to talk to him, which was odd. Usually someone would greet him, since it was hard to not know everybody in the village, and most people were friendly towards one another. Deciding that it may not be the best idea to stay, since something was obviously wrong, Dane walked out of the pub and quickly down the road again. Once exiting the village and walking near the lake, Dane noticed why things seemed odd. He was no longer “Dane" but he was a character from an extremely unknown game called ‘Eternal Sonata.' He was Fugue, and nothing could have been worse. He could not go back to his village, they shunned outsiders. His only option was to travel, and hope he could find someone to help him.

Yeah, and? This helps my situation how, exactly? It doesn't, and I am seriously so pissed right now that a part of me is considering leaving this. I'm not going to, but you guys are making it very difficult for me to not be hateful right now.

Whatever, doesn't matter. I'll just kill everyone with Phazon. You see, unlike anything else, Phazon does not distinquish between power levels and ranks. Phazon is equal...equally lethal, meaning that an S rank can buy it just as easily as an F rank.

Quit your bitchin, Spaz is the weakest character in the rp and I thought his app was very good.

If I didn't have all my really good spots taken I would have given him a A rank.


And you know what Shadow, I think as I created this world, what I say goes, with a few exceptions true but if you honestly think you can use phazon as a cheap way to act stronger than you were found to be worth then well.

Prepare for some disappointment.

Nevert, allow me to explain some things about Phazon.

1: It is not a cheap way to act stronger then my character would actually be.

2: It's an element of a very poisonous and deadly nature that affects everyone to an equal degree without exception.

3: Prolonged exposure will eventually induce Phazon Madness, which includes but is not limited to a dependency on it for survival, attacking enemies that are not there, attacking allies thinking that they are enemies, a severe increase in strength plus regenerative capabilities, and inevitable death of varying speeds depending on what type of Phazon was used, and that's just what is listed.

4: The only reason why my character is not affected by it is that in making a contract with Primus, my characters biological structure was specifically modified to gain immunity to Phazon.


These are all facts, and are things that cannot be changed. However, just because Phazon is equally lethal, doesn't mean it makes killing people easier. The speed with which it is able to be used is entirely dependent on the user. As such, while any form of Phazon can just as easily kill someone who is much more powerful then my character, it is still limited by the speed with which it is able to grow, even when taking into account the propagation effect of Indigo Phazon and the speed effect of Blue Phazon. Also, a sufficiently strong person is entirely capable of breaking free of Phazon if they become encased in it, and a sufficiently fast person will be able to avoid it easily enough. So as I am sure you can see, Even though it is equally lethal, it by no means makes my character more powerful then it actually is, and still has many flaws that can be exploited.

I have only basic items, evil ax, and fire, I can get along with it.

Does the poison differentiate between power rankings? No, it is more or less equal in how it works and, unless an antidote is administered, always leads to an eventual death. Phazon is like that, but different in the fact that it works in multiple ways simultaneously, i.e. breathing in the fumes, standing close enough to be exposed to the radiation, touching it, and whatever else. It just happens to have varying effects based on what type of Phazon it is. Now I am not one to tell a co-owner how to run an rp, but This is how Phazon works, and it is a mechanism that cannot be changed. Trying to change it is like trying to stop a nuke from exploding upon hitting the ground. It just doesn't happen. And before you decide to ban me or tell me that I am wrong or trying to overpower or make stronger my own character, just know that I am merely stating the facts. This is not a grab for more power, this is stating exactly how a power works, and it is not something that can be changed, no matter how much anyone might wish it. Admittedly it may seem a little unfair for my character to have such a power, but I have seen worse, and I am sure that you have as well. Now, ca we please put this matter behind us?

Actually I CAN change Phazon since well, this isn't metroid where in so law of physics apply.

But meh, I'll see if you can pull this one off first.

THEN I'll complain.

But I did want fighting higher levels to be pseudo puzzles, not just having one trick that always works.

@Nevert: Thanks for at least giving me a chance to showcase it. And trust me, using it against higher levels is more difficult then you might think. I'll have to think really hard on just what to do and how if I get into a fight with a B rank or higher. (since I was bumped down to E rank. >_<)

There are somethings I don't get, but I'll just post my app of things I do understand and ask questions about the things I don't understand and edit this app when the questions answered.

[u]Nexus[/u]
Name of Character : Jayce Cypress.

Gender : Male

Appearance : Jayce is a tall person, with short spikey light brown hair. Jayce usually wears sunglasses, and tends to use them like a headband simply because it looks cool. Jayce casually wears shirts with cool looking logo's on it such as ripcurl, slazenger etc. Jayce completes his outfit with grey shorts and red nike shoes.

Personality : Despite having the last name 'Cypress' he doesn't act much like a tree, he gets annoyed at just standing around doing nothing. Normally, he doesn't care much about fighting, he's just happy to sit back and chew some bubblegum but when his homeland is driven into war, he stands up for his home and is loyal to whatever he joins. Jayce loves to party and is usually the one ending up in trouble and tends to get kicked out quicker than when he arrives.

Powers/Weapons/Other Abilities : Bubblegum Powers. With bubble gum, he is able to use bubbles in various ways, such as blowing huge bubbles and using then for travel or as a shield, with a bubble blower he can make a bubblebeam like attack.

Bio : Jayce recieved his powers by accidently finding a stick of unopened bubblegum while walking. He took it and started chewing it but swallowed it accidently, but this was no ordinary stick of gum, it was magic ever since then he has had these poweres. Jayce joined the Nexus because his childhood friend encouraged him to, Jayce refused multiple times until his friend said "there would be bubblegum" if he joined, which of course there wasn't. [b]I can't write how he got his rank yet because I don't know what his rank is :\[/b]

RP Sample : It was just a normal day for Jayce get up, early have breakfast, relax for the rest of the day at his favourite spot under the tall tree on top of the tallest hill where he could look onto his hometown. "Yawn, man I'm still tired, how come you're tired ... when you've just had sleep? I just don't get it." Jayce questioned as he looked on he could see his friend Larry Bridges, walk up the hill. "Yo Jayce! How's it going man?" Larry asked as he shook Jayce's hand lifting him up from his sitting position. "Not much, just having a nice nap. So what brings you here?" Jayce asked as he stretched his body. "What can't I hang out with my bro? But you should hang out more with me in the Nexus!" Larry said which angered Jayce. "I've told you before, I'm not joining Nexus!" Jayce shouted at Larry who took a few steps back. "Whoa, calm down man. I'm just asking you to join me, so we can protect our home!" Larry pointed out as Jayce looked down. "Well, I suppose I could think about it again, but tell me what do you get when you enroll for Nexus?" Jayce questioned as Larry smiled. "Well, you recieve some bubble or chewing gum depending on your preference, and you get the thrill of fighting for your hometown!" Larry explained as Jayce smiled. "Okay, I guess I'll look into it some more." Jayce shaked Larry's hand as he waved him and walked off.

Notes - Cypress is a tree name just so you know.
the RP sample is kind of Jayce's prologue before he joined Nexus.
