Can't wait for this game.
Played the first one and I'm hooked.

As far as I can see, this is essentially a massive Guild Wars mod. Graphics up, more races, less jobs (that have been revealed as of yet, I doubt that this'll be this case later) and a "customisable" backstory. At the moment, this doesn't seem to be offering much that a MMO's shouldn't have to compete with console RPG's. Customizable area's is essentially a much larger version of Geonet on WKC and I doubt that the backstories can deviate much or affect much past a few side quests and general NPC attitude.

However, this isn't exactly straying much from RPG's in general and as long as the game loks and plays good it won't matter. I did like the first Guild Wars though I couldn't get into it. It seemed to take too much effort and team playing to get through. If I want to play a game, even an MMO, I'd like to be able to solo it easily. All I hope for for this game is that it doesn't fail as a sequel, like Fable 2, it has offline mode, which all MMO's need as not everyone has an infinite access to the internet, and that it doesn't fade into the generic MMO category.

Liek omg, this game is just like Archlord and a few others with a higher budget and graphics engine and all that stuff. Unique alright.
Revolutionizing? No. Just tweaking whatever's there and with a higher budget means more publicity and people. Bah... Game looks great, but far from revolutionary.

@Above: You dont get what the >>ONLINE<< part means. If you don't have constant access to the internet or enough time a day, you shouldn't be playing these. Plain and simple.

You're taking it far too literally. What I'm saying is that even if I can connect to the internet and I enjoy playing with my friends online I still want to be able to play through the game on my own. It's not too much of a stretch for Guild Wars, considering that the only multiplayer part when you're not in a party are the towns. Everywhere else is a world that's specific to your party. I just want to be able to walk into the town and buy some damn armour without being constantly pestered with WTB and WTS's.
