I bought this game about a few weeks ago, under a recommendation from a friend of mine.

I played it, and I enjoyed it from start to finish. Dark Cloud was simply awesome.

play the second. It's just as good. Dark genie is in fact still alive

I already started playing DC2, but I'm still near the beginning of the game lol.

I'm still trying to finish up the Demon Shaft in DC1, which is why I haven't played DC2 much.

I still haven´t beaten The Dark Genie

It took me f***ing ages to beat him. You need the best weapons for Toan and Ruby, both at something like +15. And tons of Premium Chicken.

The Demon Shaft. The main reason why there's over 50 hours of gameplay in Dark Cloud.

I just used the Broken Dagger Glitch to max out my weapons after defeating the Dark Genie (Yes I know, I'm a loser for using the glitch) to speed things up on the whole weapon building thing to get through the Demon Shaft a lot quicker. I don't have the patience to build up every one of my weapons, which could take weeks...maybe months since I don't play video games as much as I used to. That and I want to play DC2, and many other games I plan on buying in the future.

Even with all of my weapons maxed out, the Demon Shaft is still very difficult (or I just suck at the game lol). Too bad the only thing you get for clearing it, is a weapon...which serves no other purpose other than proof of you clearing the Demon Shaft.

If you're a fan of RPG's, then you should definitely give this game a try.

And who told you about the Broken Dagger Glitch? *point point*.
I think the developers made that glitch on purpose, cos they knew you'd be wasting ages building up one sodding weapon.

I came across a video on Youtube that explained how to do the glitch lol.

And they probably did. It wouldn't surprise me one bit.

I played DC1 to get everything done, even build up all the weapons however I play DC2 speedrun since I'm practically in love with Gaspard. I'm still working on the code that I would spend hours playing with. Play as Gaspard code. So far his model appears everywhere since we unDMAed it but he can only walk so far. No running, attacking or magic sadly. Would you guys mind helping me test my codes for DC1 and DC2? I plan on making a multiplayer code to have similar team ups as Sonic DX with Sonic Tails meaning you share a screen

Is this code you're working on, for a Gameshark, or any other cheating device for the PS2?
