The randomizer can't be "changed" or "fixed", guys. It's a damn randomizer, you work with the matchups it gives you. Otherwise the creator of the thread would be biased if he made his own matchups.

I was actually thinking of that idea, and if I'm "selected" for YMB2, I'd definitely make all the matchups different than they were in YMB1, just to shake it up a bit.

Also, I had an idea that, while the matches would be randomized, the order of the matches would not. I could subjectively choose which matches were supposedly "important" and really "heated", and place them last in the round, and take the one-sided matches and place them first. I'm not sure if Smesh did that for YMB1 (Nox Arcana and Clair is a big one, and that's last, but it could have been chance), but I'd love to incorporate that into YMB2.

So, first two rounds of Round 3 are over. Nevert and Dark Link 401 have advanced; so, I was correct and incorrect on my predictions, respectively. Maybe if I knew Dark Link better, I'd have predicted him, but I didn't know either. Oh well.

If you need me to do 3-3 and 3-4, I can make the threads tomorrow and end 'em Sunday. Or you could ask someone else; personally, I can do any of them, just because I don't plan on voting in any of them.

Personally I feel Clair will be the ultimate winner of YMB in general, but you can never be sure. If Nox beats her here, then I'm obviously wrong.

And it's not praising anyone in any sense of the word; being popular, at least for me, is not taken as a compliment.

Battles that are interesting often involve people with similar popularity levels, but moreso people you know. If I didn't know YCMaker or Falling Pizza, but I knew they were both popular, I wouldn't [i]care[/i] what the outcome was. Similarly, if I knew Pichu and Crab Helmet, I already [i]know[/i] what the outcome is, so what's the point of even caring?

These battles, 3-3 and 3-4, have both of those qualities. Strawberry is (was, I should say) my go-to gal for OCG and Holo'ing stuff, when I used to make cards (a long, long time ago...). And she's pretty chill, although she constantly deletes me on MSN (<3). Saturn, when I first joined, was this big-ticket person that was popular and legendary, to a point where he had literal fans. He mellowed down after awhile, but is still considered popular. So I've had experiences with both of these members, and while I cannot say they are my friends, I can say that they are both popular. As such, not only will it be a close match, but it'll be a close match between people I know.

Ice is like, one of my best "friends" on this site, and Cherry (you mean Zeonark <___<), well, I used to talk with him a bit. And I know they are both extrtemely popular. For similar reasons, I know that 3-4 will be interesting, just to see how people vote in this matchup, and how people react to votes, since we both know that they have a ton of fanboys.

Clair, I feel, is the perfect example of how a new member (newfag) can adapt to a society, change herself to fit in with the "popular" group, and turn into one of the most well-known members on this website. It is no surprise that Clair made it to Round 3, and anyone who wants to win this should hope they don't verse Clair until the finals. While she does have fanboys, and fangirls, and just people who want pussy, she also does have genuine "friends", which adds to her votecount significantly.

3-1 and 3-2 were kind of eh for me, but the rest of the four battles seem really interesting. I am personally interested in Black vs. Dark, not only because it includes me, but it also shows me how "popular" I am in relation to other people, particularly Tainted Black, who I have known for a few months now.
