This card cannot be Normal Summoned or Set. This card cannot be Special Summoned except by removing from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard. Once per turn, you can remove from play 2 Plant-Type monsters from your hand, Deck or Graveyard to discard 2 cards from your opponent's hand. This card gains 100 ATK for each Plant-Type monster that are removed from play. If a monster your opponent controls would attack, you can remove from play 1 Plant-Type monster in your Graveyard to increase the ATK of this card 300.

This card's Type is also treated as Spellcaster. While you control another Plant-Type monster, your opponent cannot select this card as an attack target. Once per turn, while you control another Plant-Type monster, you can discard 1 card to place 1 Nutrition Counter on this card (max.3). This card gains 100 ATK for each Nutrition Counter on it. You can Tribute this card with 3 Nutrition Counters on it to select and reveal 1 Plant-Type monster from your Deck and add it to your Hand. Decrease the Level of the selected card by 2. You can remove from play this card in your Graveyard to negate the effect of a card that destroys a Plant-Type monster you control.

Mystical Elderly Tree Magician:

"If you have at least one Plant in your Graveyard, you get a beatstick too large for a Level 4 monster to kill by battle, and your opponent discards 2 cards each turn he or she fails to kill it. Also, if you have any more Plants in your Graveyard, it's pretty much indestructible by battle."

 

Broccoli Mage, Vegictus:

"Spellcaster treatment even though everything else about this card works solely with Plants, making the Spellcaster treatment completely useless. Some stupid -3 search effect that takes forever to pull off that nobody will ever use. Awesome Graveyard ability."

 

Both are horribly designed, but Mystical Elderly Tree Magician is just obnoxiously broken, so Vegictus receives my vote.
