Grey was sparring with some Hephaestus offspring in the arena. He was too easy. He eventually knocked the blade out of the kid's hand and kicked him over.
"Game, Set, Match."

Back in the Apollo house, Grey was alone now. He was alone most of the time, seeing as how Apollo wasn't doin' much nowadays...Grey looked at the trophy above his bed. It was a tooth from a dragon he killed. He actually had to hypnotize it and find a way to hold is blade out at the same time so the dragon would skewer himself on it. But it was worth it. Others looked up to him for it. He guessed that was cool. He wasn't that much in to other people.

Edmond Intrilligator was also sparring. "I suppose Its not fair to use my telekinesis helmet. Actually..." Edmond threw off all his weapons & helmet And started staggering around, going into the stance for 1 of 3 martial arts hes trained in. Selene was sitting down and was watching the sparrers. She noticed a particularly affective way of drunk boxing.
She shrugged off her bow and arrow. This was time for hand to hadn combat.
She recognized Edmund as well.
"hey, Edmund!" she asked, immediately using her Athena strengths to calculate size and weaknesses. "I'll fight yu if you're done over there?" she offered. It was a friendly battle.
The Apollo side of her felt slightly lost without a bow and arrow, but she was half and half so she was alright.

"Hey satyrs c'mon you wouldn't want to get caught by the lava!" Virgil said climbing up the Climbing Wall, attempting not to get burnt to death by the lava that was spurting from the ground. Moments later he had reached the top along with 2 Hermes campers, a Satyr, and an Apollo camper. He looked around and could see miles from the top. "Yee, owch," He said looking at a camper who had slipped and touched his foot to the lava.

Jason was sitting in his room alone thinking [i]"I need to get up and do something, Im going to go nuts sitting in here."[/i] Jason got up and walked out of the Ares cabin and looked around to see what there was to do, he saw one kid slip and touch his foot to the lava "Ouch." Jason said chuckling [i]"Maybe I could go join them..... nah not fun enuf."[/i] Jason looked some more trying to see if there was anything at all to do in this camp that he would enjoy "Ugh." Jason sat down infront of his cabin [i]"What to do, what to do?"[/i] Jason sat there thinking not really knowing what he could do as he had not read the hand book and never listened well

Selene waited for Edmond to reply, then wondered if there would be a capture the flag game anytime soon. She was most definitelyin the mood for a competitive game.

She pondered over what she would choose if she were captain somehow. Hm. Maybe poseidon or zeus or hades first, that could prove useful. Then her ties to Apollo would be too strong to ignore, so she should take them... she shrugged. Coudln't tell until the other team was chosen anyways.

Jason jumped to his feet [i]"Thats it some flag football would be awsome right now."[/i] Jason began to walk to the field "Wonder if there will even be a game today." Jason shrugged and continued to walk torwards the field looking around at his potientail team-mates and his oponents, Jason chuckled [i]"Hopefully whoever I'm playing against is good they will need it."[/i] Jasoon got a big smile seeing himself in the in-zone making the winning touchdown, Jason's smile disappeared [i]"To bad it isn't real football that would be tons of fun."[/i] Jason was bearly watching were he was going but stopped for amoment to finish thinking so he wouldn't bump into anything

Virgil jumped off the Climbing Wall and landed hard on his feet and yelped in pain, before walking towards the Hermes cabin to check if anyone had cracked his safe where he contained his trophies from monsters and drachmas, with all the other things he has. He looke at the Camp Scheduel and saw that today was Capture the Flag; Ares v.s. Athena. He ran over to the Monster Assualt Class he needed to go to and sat down waiting for the rush of campers to teach. "Sometimes being in the Hermes cabin has its advantages, and being head of it doesn't darken your day either."

Selene saw the announcement and jogged down to the playing clearing in the forest; the center of where they would be. "Ready." she said to the already group of growing students. Just what she needed; Athena WAS captain this time around!
She slapped on some team blue armor and her helmet, grabbing her bow and arrow and celestial bronze knife.
She walked back and analyzed everything with her Athena senses. Good. She would probably take Apollo, Hermes, and Zeus.

Virgil suited up in his armor after the long day of camp, for a game of capture the flag. He put on his gloves and snapped his fingers and his razor wires came out, he flicked his wrist and the wires cut a Hermes boy's sandwich into 10 pieces, "meh, Dave wouldn't care anyway." Virgil ran up to the PAvillionj and awaited the groupings, he desperatly hoped he wouldn't go with Ares becuase of what happened in last week's capture the flag. He shook hs head after he remembered and waited for the team captains to choose their sides.

Selene looked around. "I pick the Zeus cabin first," she decided, on the command of the counselors. She saw as the kids in the zeus cabinn walked over to meet her side.
She nodded to them all. "Put on some armor and get ready," she said.
She waited for the Ares captain to pick out his first cabin.
After that, she would choose Hermes, then the Apollo cabin, she decided.

Jason arrived on the field, smiling Jaosn thought [i]"I'm against these people. This might acuatuly fun."[/i] Jason dawned his team attire "Red my favorite color the color of blood." Jason said as he grabbed the rest of his things [i]"Hades, Poseidon, and Hephaestus."[/i] Jason nodded knowing who he would be playing with and chuckled "This is going to be fun." Jason jogged down to the center of the playing field "I gotte good feeling about this game." Jason said as he was now standing in the middle of the field

Grey walked outside and saw the other cabin leaders. "Oh, hey Selene, Virgil, Jason, what's going on?" Grey then took a look at the announcement regarding the Capture the Flag Captains. "Oh, hmmm...Seems interesting." Grey was never a fan of these games, he only liked sparring and archery. He then remembered the rest of the schedule. "Crap...Campfire...Ah well, can't be avoided..."
Grey suited up in his light armor and brought his bow and lute. He didn't bother with the sword, he wouldn't be needing it. He walked back outside after placing the the dragon's tooth in his pocket. "Well, time to get going..."

Virgil grabbed his sword to make sure it was still there, "phew" he said before snapping his fingers, retracting the razor wires. then Grey came over and Virgil said, "so I hear ya got campfire sing-a-long duty," and patted him on the back, but in his mind he was thinking of not nescicarily complex battle strategies. "So do your campers got the 'special' arrows ready?" Virgil whispered to Grey before returning to listen who was chosen next.

Grey smiled. "Campers? There's three of us. I think that only constitutes a group. But yes, they are ready. And if worst comes to worst..." Grey patted the tooth in his pocket. "I've got my own secret weapon."
Grey then turned toward Selene and Jason, who were picking teams. [i]Good Gods, I hope Beefhead doesn't pick me...Anything but that bumbling brickhouse..."[/i]
Grey fiddled with one of his arrows, blowing some dust off of it. This was gonna be fun.

"Come on, Ares, scared to pick?" Selene taunted, though her intentions were purely friendly. "Just kidding, take your time," she added hastily as she remembered the wrath of Ares she had instilled hte previous summer. SHe was training and had said a wrongly placed taunt that was sharper than she meaned, and the next thing she knew, she had started a small battle between Athena and Ares. Apollo was also a part of it.

"If my idea is correct, Ares captain will chose the rest of the big three, then the strongest houses with the biggest numbers, well except Hermes because of last week, remember?" Virgil said, pulling out his short sword, "and if worst comes to worst I have my 10 wires." He then looked around the area and ran afew laps arlund before coming back and saying, "I really love how I'm faster than a regular person cuz I'm son of the God of messengers." Virgil then loooked at his stomach and said, "I really should have eaten a bigger dinner, I'm still starving." He then had a flashback that ended when he stomach growled a second time.

Chance was walking back from his nap at the Ares cabin and saw a capture the flag game starting. It seemed that is was his cabin's turn to pick thier teamates, so Chance walked over there thinking about which teams would be best. He saw that the Zeus cabin was already taken but other than that there was everyone. Chance walked over and decided that he should be able to choose for his cabin. "I pick the Hades cabin." Chance said "Cmon guys get on your armor and then we can talk strategy. Your turn." Chance said with a smile.

Selene smiled a small smile. "Apollo," she said, at no shock to the others. She was half and half, after all.
She decided next it would be Hermes for herself, and if Poseidon was left, then that next, then she would pick...hmm...perhaps...well... time would tell. Aphrodite would probably still be open, but they weren't as powerful.
She shrugged to herself and waited.

Chance watched Selene's eyes to see her next pick. He followed her eyes to Hermes, then Poseidon, and then they darted from side to side looking for the next pick. Chance knew enough so far to tick off his opponent. "I pick the Hermes cabin" Chance said with a mocking smile toward Selene. The Hermes cabin was looking a little confused as they walked over because they thought they were going to be on the other side. "Get your armor on quickly and we will discuss strategy." he told the Hermes cabin "Now Hades I need you guys to use your ability to travel through the shadows to flank the other team and distract them while we come running straight in to keep them off balence."

Selene narrowed her eyes imperceptibly. "Poseidon," she decided quickly. She would definitely not think about what she would do next anymore.
She did think, though her eyes didn't move. Aphrodite would be last. What else? Demeter could prove useful...hephaestus. Thats next. Hephaestus.

She hoped her face did not betray what she was thinking.

Chance knew he was in trouble if he didnt come up with a strategy that could use the best of all of the cabins he could get to go against two of the big three. He thought a little bit about who he would choose next he knew that she knew now about following her eyes because she wasnt moving them. No matter thought Chance I will just take them. " I choose the Dionysus cabin next." Chance said boldly "Cmon guys get in some heavy armor and make sure you bring some ambrosia. Now," he said when everyone was there "the Dionysus cabin will be a major part in our stratagy they will assist us by keeping us healthy with ambrosia and hydrate us with your wine but make sure there is really low alcohal content because otherwise we will get drunk and lose."
((I know you didnt but people naturally do it unless they are thinking not to.))

"Hephaestus," she said confidently. She was sure of her strategy. They walked over, and she resolved to tell them their strategy, their entire TEAM'S strategy, when she had finished choosing them all as a group.
She wondered if she should choose Demeter, or Aphrodite...no, Hestia or Hera. Hestia would be useful because of their fire. Yes. Hestia next, she decided.

Jason heard the name Hermes come out of Chances mouth and was furious, Jason's eyes showed his displeasure, but there was nothing he could do really, except wait till they returned to the cabin. Jason walked over to Chance "What do you think your doing?" Jason was begining to loose his temper, and his eyes showed it. Jason was bearly able to contain himself as he tried to keep from beating up Chance, his anger was getting the best of him and everyone could see it in his eyes and on his face

Chance reviewed his options for his next choice in cabins. He had a pretty good team so far but there was the strength in numbers, so he thought about who would be his next pick he knew that if he disrupted Selena's pick then he could through her off balance and possibly win the game but she was watching her body language and wasnt giving any hints. So he just guessed what she would pick. "I pick Hera!" said Chance looking at Selene to see her reaction. (srry it took me so ong)
