[♥] Summer Dueling {PG-16/Accepting In OOC Thread/Started}

Aaron looks up from his book and sees the two still dueling. Now he can't deny it anymore, he wants to watch it, and if it's only to study future opponents. The girl just summoned a winged lady, but she doesn't look very happy about it. On the other side, there's this huge beast, and the card "Cold Wave" seems to be active. [i]Now I can understand why she doesn't look very happy, I wouldn't look very happy as well if somebody locks my Spell Cards...[/i].

Without even noticing, he shut the book and walked towards the duel.

“Since Cold Wave’s effect is over, I will activate Terraforming! This lets me add Naturia Forest to my hand, and once it is added to my hand, I will activate it!” Keegan said as he searched his deck for the field spell card, and then placed it into the slot on his duel disk. “Now, I will remove from play Stardust Dragon in my extra deck to special summon Malefic Stardust Dragon!” Keegan announced as his dragon appeared in the sky. “Naturia Beast attack that monsters, and Malefic Stardust Dragon, follow up with a direct attack,” Keegan said as he ended his turn.

"Hold it!" called Lauren, pressing a button on her duel disk. The face-down card that lay behind CC's White Lighter stood up, revealing an image of a lion roaring. " I activate Threatening Roar! This trap card keeps you from entering your Battle Phase this turn!" As Lauren said this, an invisible force burst from the card towards the charging monsters. The monsters seemed to collide with a somewhat invisible wall that was causing the air around it to ripple. The monster backed up to their original positions.

OoC: Hmm .-. i just realized that neither of us has been leaving room for counters. We're just going through a turn without seeing if the opponent has a counter. How about this, before ending just leave it hanging for your opponent to kind of react.

"Damn, that isn't what I need," Keegan muttered to himself. "I guess I will place a face-down card to end off this turn," Keegan said as he placed his face-down card in the slot behind his Malefic Stardust Dragon. [i]Hopefully this card can help me in the future turns [/i] Keegan though after a disappointing end result.

Lauren drew a card and glanced at it. [i]Not now, later though....[/i] she thought before adding the card to her hand. "Now then," she called looking up, "I activate the spell card Hand Destruction!" As she inserted the card into the first slot of her Spell/Trap card zone, it appeared on the field, standing up revealing a Sasuke Samurai making a slashing motion. "With this card both players discard 2 cards from their hands and draw an additional 2 cards!" She frowned in concentration. [i]If this goes through...[/i]

Jayson looked at the feild and read the plays like an open book he was amazed by some of the cards that were just played. [color=blue]"Whoa, a Malefic Stardust Dragon who is this guy how did he get a card like that."[/color] Jayson then commented on Laurens turn. [color=blue]"Things don't look to well for that girl with no monsters out to protect her, if it wasn't for that Threatening Roar her life points would have taken a massive hit then and there! Lets see what she draws next and what her next move will be."[/color] Jayson then leaned forwards from his chair to get a better view of the duel dispite losing the comfortable position he was in but that doesn't seem to phase him at all. [color=blue]"I wonder how skilled the other duelists around here are I can't wait to see them duel or even compete against them."[/color]

Logan Sat back watching the two people duel. Then noticed that more duelist were gathering around the two. He saw a small kid with glasses watching with a book in his hand, And two people watching from under the shade of a tree. One was a normal looking guy with blonde hair but the other caught his eye.[i] What the heck? That guys got spikey blue hair, probably some punk...I might want to keep my distance from these people [/i]Logan Stood up and started to walk back toward his beach house.

Mion pedaled furiously, panting a bit as she made her way slowly up the sandy hill along the sunny beaches of Miami. [i]Why did Mr. Bushida have to live so far away?[/i] she lamented, feeling her Duel Disk dig into her shoulder blades as she ventured down the coastal path. Her bike wheel suddenly glanced a rock in the path, and she felt her body being jarred as her bike wobbled from the contact.

Trying to regain control of her bicycle, Mion happened to glance towards the beach. She was met with a breathtaking sight. Two duelists were having a game in the sand, one boy and one girl. The girl looked to have the disadvantage, and Mion wanted nothing more than to stop and watch. However, the bento box dug into her back, reminding her that she had work to do.

At least her mother had given her until seven o'clock. Maybe she'd come back to see the outcome!

Smiling, Mion shakily steered her bike back onto the path and started to pedal off.

Logan walked back into his beach house and sighed. "At least im not getting forced into a duel with someone. But i wonder how long till i can get the beach to myself.... Might as well go back to sleep."Logan went to the kitchen, remembered that he couldnt find a store. Hungry and a little peeved he then laid down on the couch looked out at the duel and slowly fell back asleep.

With the sun shining through the small opening of a window, a soft yawn could be heard from with in a compact room.
Inside was another one of the Miami guests, yawning softly as he pushed off his silk blanket and slowly crept up
to his feet. "What... what time is it." Slowly stumbling towards his door, the young man quickly changed his clothes,
having showered the previous night he thought a change out of his pajama's into a pair of blue jeans and a nice
silk band shirt would make for a good change.

As he entered the living room, the man glared at the clock on the wall as it's dusty hands rested softly against
the faded number twelve. "s***, it looks like I over slept again, I'm guessing the other residents are already out
meet each other. I doubt they actually sleep in like my lazy self." The man was of average size and was quite slender
compared to the rest of the guys his age, he had just turned twenty but still felt like a child at heart.

After a quick clean up of his hair and face, he quickly grabbed his deck shoving it into the box that it called it's
domain along with his freshly painted duel disk. "Maybe I'll be lucky, there could be some cutie's out here on the beach."
Without wasting anymore time inside of his beach house the man quickly grabbed the warm knob that belonged to the front
door and pulled it towards him, allowing him to embrace the glowing sun and the sparkling sands.

After Desmond arrived in Miami via airplane, he found his beach house and started unpacking all his belongings. After he did that, he threw on some blue jean shorts and a t-shirt with an elaborate picture of a knight riding a horse on it the front of it. There was a shield that looked like a coat of arms on the back of the shirt. He didn't bother to put on shoes and went straight to his bed, where his five decks and duel disk were spread out.

[i]A duel on the beach seems like a good idea right now,[/i] thought Desmond. He placed his silver and black duel disk on his left arm and looked at his five face down decks. [i]I wonder which one I should use today. Maybe I'll choose one at random.[/i] And so he did. "Eenie meenie miney Mo," Desmond said as he choose a deck. He decided not to find out which one he was going to use and placed it in the deck slot of his duel disk. He left his beach house, seeing if he could find a duel going on. He walked around the beach for about 5 minutes when he saw a duel between some guy and girl. There was a forest surrounding the field.

[i]A Malefic Stardust Dragon and Naturia Beast! I always wanted to see one of those in action, but what kind of cards is she using,[/i] referring to a beautiful female duelists who looked like she was backed into a corner. She had female monster with wings on her side of the field and had just activated what looked like a spell card. He also saw someone sitting under a tree, watching the two duelists go at it. He noted that that guy also had a duel disk on him. [i]Should I watch these two duel, or try to see if that guy would want to duel. I guess I'll see how this duel plays out[/i] Desmond though as he sit down on the beach. Waiting to see what will happen next.

Walter was still watching the duel, but he also had an eye on the other people watching. The boy reading had decided to watch, and someone else had now arrived, but one of the other people had now left. Still, it was hardly surprising. Duels would normally generate a small crowd, since people with the time tended to stay and watch. The boy duelling brought out a Malifec Stardust Dragon. [i]Impressive,[/i] he thought to himself, [i]the girl's got her work cut out for her now. That cold wave really limited her options so far, and now Naturia Beast is out her spells are effectively useless. Still, it's not over until the life points hit zero, and this duel has barely begun.[/i]

“Ah, that card. It brings back a few memories from my days before coming to Miami. Sad to see my Bambo Shoot and X-Saber Airbellum go to the grave,” Keegan said as he sent his cards to the graveyard. “Nice move Lauren, but it doesn’t seem like you are getting far with your hand, because I still have my Malefic and Naturia Beast in play,” Keegan said with confidence as he let Lauren continue.

[Headmaster Monokuma]

Ikana quickly exited the airport after the plane landed and started to head south from it. He made sure to grab his bag and case with an important object in it as he left the airport. His so called 'Beach House' was already rented, and ready for his arrival. His parents had given him permission to leave Egypt for the summer so that he could spend some time to see the outside world before he took up his duty as a Gravekeeper. It took weeks to convince them to allow him, but he was able to after hours and hours of discussion everyday. As he walked, he couldn't help but feel relaxed already. It was hot, but nowhere near as hot as Egypt was. [i]Wonderful honestly. My flight couldn't have arrived at a better time it seems.[/i] About ten minutes, and many odd looks, he arrived at the beach and his home for the summer. As he walked in, he opened the case with the important item inside it and pulled out a custom made Duel Disk. It looked rather like the Duel Disk V.2, but painted yellow and purple with edges that were just a slight bit sharper. He then pulled out a small box of cards from inside the case and placed them in the Disk after shuffling. [i]Time to head outside. Maybe a duel will be taking place. Ah, what am I saying? I don't even know if anyone here does duel.[/i] As he stepped outside and walked quite a bit aways from his new home, he noticed immediately he was wrong, a duel was taking place, but the cards being used where nothing he had seen before. The monster that stuck out to him was a Dragon that looked corrupted through some unknown means. [i]This is going to be interesting![/i] He started running down the beach, and watched as the duel continued.

"I send CC's Baton Jester and Mist Valley Falcon to the graveyard!" called Lauren, inserting the two into the Graveyard. She then drew 2 cards from her hand and, without looking at the new cards, added them to her hand and pulled a new card from it. "Now since there are 3 or more CC's monsters in my graveyard I can special summon CC's Elite Knight from my hand!" when she finished explaining the effect, Lauren dropped the card vertically onto a monster card zone. A burst of light erupted up from the ground in front her and a tall fairy flew up, holdling a long deadly looking sword.

"Now, since she was Special Summoned with her own effect, I send the top 2 cards of my Deck to the Graveyard and draw a card," she called, picking up 2 cards from her deck and sending them to the Graveyard, then drawing a one. Lauren added the card to her hand and scanned the cards. "Next I'll set 2 cards face-down and activate [b]MY[/b] field spell! CC'S Imperial Throne!" As she said this, a card zone slot slid out into view on the left end of her duel disk. Droping the card into the slot, the scene around the duelists shifted. An enormous orb appeared behind Lauren along with multiple other, smaller, orbs. "Next, I'll switch CC's White Lighter to defense position and activate Elite Knight's Special effect," the green armoured fairy made a slashing motion with her blade and the top card of Laurens Graveyard slid out of the graveyard slot. "Once per turn, I can add the top card of my graveyard to my hand but I cant use it this turn!" declared Lauren, placing the card in her hand.

"Now! CC's Elite Knight! Attack his Naturia Beast! Typhoon Slash!" called Lauren, thursting her hand forward, pointing at the Naturia Beast. The armoured fairy launched herself forward, and slashed at the Beast, sending a gust of wind towards the monster.

Elizabeth laid down in her bed, as usual she wasn't feeling well. The sun's rays shined down into her window and directly onto her face. "I guess I should probably get up now" Elizabeth said to herself. She then, got up and got dressed into her regular appearance. A dark purple shirt that was completely unseen by her brown jacket. Along with her Red skirt. She made her way into the kitchen and checked the fridge for something to eat. She grabbed the bottle of milk from the fridge and a bowl form the cupboard and sat them on the table. She then, barely reached on top of the fridge and grabbed a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch and she sat at the table and held her head, "When will this headache go away.." Elizabeth once again said to herself.

“Wow, nice job there Lauren, you made best friends with my favourite card, called Bottomless Trap Hole! If you remember, you should know that this removes from play a monster with 1500 ATK when summon, so whatever you planned on with your knight, is stopped,” Keegan said as his card revealed, creating a dark pit in which the monster would be trapped in, removing it from play.

Jayson jumped off from his chair and stretched he had been watching this duel nearly all morning, he scanned around and there were a few people around watching the duel so he assumed they were all duelists. [color=blue]"Alright now this is getting boring now its my time to duel."[/color] Jayson moved his arm forward showing everyone his duel disk then he pointed his arm skyward then acted like there was a microphone in his hand. [color=blue]"ATTENTION FELLOW DUELISTS, I JAYSON PRINCE AM THROWING DOWN AN OPEN CHALLENGE TO ANYBODY TO DUEL ME RIGHT NOW! COME ON FIRST ONE HERE ACCEPTS THE CHALLENGE!"[/color] Jayson announced and awaited the other duelists reaction.

[i]More people?[/i] Walter thought, as the number of people watching this duel increased again. The latest arrival was rather strange, wearing a dark hood despite the heat and sunlight. [i]Oh well, guess since there's only one duel around here everyone showing up will come and watch it. There'd probably be another one if these people stopped acting cool and detached, not that I'm any better.[/i] He pulled himself to his feet, since he didn't like the low angle from sitting on the floor, and turned his attention away from the rest of the audience and back towards the two people duelling, just as the blue-haired boy declared a challenge. [i]How ironic[/i] he mused, before turning to the boy.
"Very well then," he replied, "I'll accept."

Lauren flinched as her Knight dropped downward. She picked the card off the monster card zone and pressed a button on her duel disk. The purple ball on her disk opened and she placed the Knight within it. "Fine," she said, watching the ball close, "Then I end my turn!" Lauren's heart pounded. [i]'CC's Elite Knight was one of my best cards and now it's gone...I'll have to improvise,'[/i] she thought, glancing at her hand [i]'This will be my next move'[/i]

I tribute summon Naturia Bamboo Shoot, but tribute Naturia Beast!” Keegan said as his beast became a thing of the past, disappearing into this dust, leaving the path for the monster, Naturia Bamboo Shoot. “Now, you should know what his effect is, because, as long as he remains face up on the field, no more Spell or Trap activated for you. Seems like you got a little problem on your hand,” Keegan stated as he began to laugh. “Now, Malefic Stardust Dragon, attack that monster!”

IC: Lauren winced as her White Lighter exploded into a cloud of glitter. She sent the card to the Graveyard and looked back up at her field. [i]'Damn it! My field may as well be empty thank to that Bamboo Shoot. I've no defense now. I'll just have to to my best with this card.'[/i] she thought, clenching her hand into a fist.

"Lets do this!" she shouted at the top of her lungs, boosting her confidence, "Yea! I'ma make this happen! Yea! Bring it on baby!"

“Wow, you really want to get hit with my monster don't you? I guess Bamboo Shoot will give you that pain. Alright Naturia Bambo Shoot attack her directly!” Keegan said as his monster charged at Lauren. “Alright, that should be enough, I will set 1 card and end off this successful turn,” Keegan said as his face down card appeared behind Malefic Stardust Dragon.

Lauren glared determinedly at her deck as her Life Points lowered by 2000. Setting her index and middle fingers on the top of her deck, she drew her card. [i]Please be a good card![/i] she thought, biting her lip, not looking at the card. After a moment she glanced at it.

"Yea! Hell yea!" she shrieked, throwing her hands into the air. [i]I'm way to hyped up over this[/i] she thought. "I summon CC's Baton Jester!" she declared, adding the drawn card to her hand and picking up and playing her monster. The young fairy burst up from the ground with a burst of light and swooped up and descended behind Lauren. "Any counters?" she asked, grinning slyly at her opponent.

OoC: btw, my field spell is still in play because of malefic stardust dragon. I forgot D:

“I am honestly shocked, as you just stepped your little feet into my hand of god,” Keegan said as his Solemn Judgment was flipped face up. “Now, I can watch my life points and your monster descend and leave you open, with not options for you,” Keegan said as the monster disappeared, and his life points went to 4000. “You better watch out, because this could be your last turn!”
