-Athena-
Luckily, I'm still young. I haven't lost any important family members yet. I'm grateful for that and I'm enjoying all time I can with my family BTW, I'm really sorry for your lost....
Kizzi
This is a heavily depressing thread and I can't figure out how to inject some humour and/or sarcasm into it.

John A. Zoidberg
Oh there's a lot. My nana died when I was merely 2. My parents told me that I was the last person she ever hugged, which makes me feel good. She died right in front of a church. Then there's my pop-pop. He died the week of my 6th birthday, which was awful. I really miss him, too. Then, there's my uncle Joe. I forget how he died, but he was a really good guy and was always there for me. I miss him a lot. And my great aunt Ruth. I would always go to her house in the summer to swim and hang out with my family. She was really great. And, the most recent of these deaths, yet the one that affected me most (despite how awful this sounds) was my dog, Barney. I had him from the time I was an infant. He was with me forever, always there for me. He was the sweetest dog in the world. If I was sad, he'd lay down next to my bed for the whole day. If I was sick, he'd lay down right by my side and keep my company. I loved him more than you could love a brother. I was there with him when he had to get put to sleep. He had cancer, and one of his tumors was beginning to burst. We didn't want him to suffer anymore, so we took him. While the vet was doing what had to be done, I put my hands on his head and sat there, looking at him. The moment I saw his eyes close was the saddest moment of my life. To this day, I've kept a small patch of his fur where the vet had to shave him to put the needle in. To me, it's the most important thing in the world. How can you bear with losing so many loved ones. I've only lost one. You've lost like 5. I'm very sorry for your dog Barney. I didn't even know dogs could get cancer. I sincerely feel sorry for you. Your dog barney, when did he pass away? What breed was he?
John A. Zoidberg
He was a yellow lab. He passed at the end of last January. And yeah, dogs can get cancer. The bigger breeds especially. What happens is sometimes those fatty tumors they get can become cancerous.
Icy
My Great Grandma. I had her picture (when she was in her Teens/20's in 1950) as my avatar for a week. I miss her a whole lot. And my cousin who was Assisted in his Suicide last year... I shunned him because he smoked (don't regret doing so), but I do regret not getting to know him better. I really wanted my Grandma there at my Graduation from College, to live to well over 100 and see me get married, to see us all smile.
OmegaWave
My Grandpa died in 1997 from Heart Failure. I was 4 then. My older sister, Tiffany died 5 minutes after she was born. She was born a year before me so obviously I never knew her. She would've been 18 on August 2nd this year.

They're both smokers and alcoholics. I don't shun them for it, I love them very much, but when I first found out, I did lose a lot of respect for them. However, I do really wish they would quit. I couldn't bare to see either of my brothers be sent to an early grave over stupid decisions.

Marisa Kirisame-ze
Ah, well, a lot of my family members live long lives. Many are older and I'm lucky to be able to meet them and spend time with them. However, there are a few I actually haven't met, but wish I did. My great grandmother and my parent's fathers. Though, besides family, I've lost a really close friend last year to death.
RestLess-BoTics
Grandpa on my dad's side: heart attack while driving in his car... Grandpa on my mom's side: silent heart attack that lasted for 6 month... spent months in the ICU. My second-cousin: got depressed... then committed suicide. ):

Limited Edition KING
My grandfather and grandmother died a few years back. Although they're my family I wasn't too upset about it nor was I happy about it either, I had a neutral emotion to them. My mother on the other hand was upset because they were her parents. King of Yesonia
My "Abuelita" (my dad's mother) passed away just recently, about 4 weeks ago. She lived in Costa Rica and she didn't see me that much. But, she died of natural reasons. She lived to be 89. I didn't really feel attached to her so I didn't feel so sad about her death (which I kind of feel bad about).
