Pokemon Infinity IC Thread [Started/Still Accepting via OOC]

"Ahh dear amanda, I only plan on catching the one that allows access to the Dream World, Entei." Null paused for a second, "Although, let's let destruction roam for a bit shall we?"
Meanwhile, outside Diamond City...
Shogo had traveled just to outside Diamond City when he saw a bright beam enter the sky, "What the hell?" As the sky changed, a Digglet out of nowhere attacked his leg, "Ah!" Shogo then pulled out his Pokeball, "Go! Slick!" and Quagsire came out of the pokeball and used Surf, the digglet fainted, "What's going on?" Suddenly a bunch of Tauros came out of nowhere and charged at him, "Damn! Slick! Use Ice beam!" Quagsire used Icebeam on the ground to let the Tauros slip while Shogo and Slick could get away into Diamond City.

Daylien walked out of the Team Infinity Pokemon Centre, glad that all of his Pokemon were now refreshed and feeling better, particularly Raikou. Then, a glow began erupting from one of his Pokeballs as a Pokemon of his released itself out into the dark night of it's own accord [i]"Speaking of Raikou,"[/i] Daylien chortled. However the Pokemon's face was one of distress and fear. It let out an ear-splitting howl to the heavens that must have been heard for miles and miles around.

A figure moving at an immeasurable speed suddenly landed beside the pair. Daylien couldn't believe his eyes... It was another Legendary dog. It was Suicune... But something was wrong. Suicune's eyes were full of malice and hate, not something that boded well for the world. "Suicune... What happened to you?"

Raikou growled quietly seeming to echo his feelings.

"Cuuuuuuuuune!" the Pokemon roared.

Daylien had to shield himself from the force of the roar. If that was just it's shout, it's attacks must be scary. "Raikou, we have to snap it out of this state! Prepare for a battle!"

OoC: Two things. I'm only going to battle Suicune. And it was Raikou's roar that called Suicune. Thought if you caught Entei, I caught Raikou and Suicune was set free, the Teams would even up a bit.

Yoru was sitting in his office when he heard a knock on the door.
"Enter." Victor came in with a clear case, and Violet trapped inside.
"Master, I captured the Shaymin." he said, while showing respect by being on his knees.
"Excellent. Take him to Level B7." Victor saluted and left the room. He pressed a button on his desk, and spoke into his microphone. It transmitted the following message to all Team Zero transceivers:

"All members report to base."

Meanwhile...

Palm ran around the house looking for Violet. But the Shaymin was nowhere to be found.
"Damn, if I knew..." he began to think. "Why would Victor take Violet? Team Infinity never needed to take Violet into their own hands..." He rushed over to a video call console over by the wall. He made a call to the highest person in Team Infinity that he knew. Sachiko Narahashi.
"Ms. Narahashi. Why would one of your grunts need to take Violet?"
"Which one?" she asked.
"The one named Victor."
"Victor... Let me see... Ah! Here's his file..."
"What does it say?"
"He left Team Infinity. Three years ago. He's a Team Zero operative now... Wait, he took Violet?!"
"Yes. Do you know where he could have taken it?"
"Let's see... There are reports of multiple Pokemon flying east from Amethyst Town. All of them had Trainers."
"Their base is near Amethyst?"
"Here's a map showing where we believe their base to be." She loaded a map onto the screen, with a dot flashing over a small island next to Amethyst.
"Thank you, Sachiko."
"You're welcome." The call ended. Palm then faced Yana and said, "We need to get to that island."

"Alright, let's go!" Yana said urgently. These circumstances were all very fishy... The Professor was central to resisting Team Zero and even he didn't know about an agent's defection. They were missing a piece to the puzzle. As they got outside, Yana called out Bahamut. "Time for some payback old friend. We have another rescue mission!"

The Salamence roared in the first excited tone it had in nearly two years as he allowed Yana and the Professor to get on.

"Head east and don't stop until you spot a populated island, Ok?" Yana told his Pokemon. The group took off into the night, hoping they would be fast enough to stop whatever Zero were planning.

Meanwhile...

"Use Thunderbolt!" Daylien bellowed.

Suicune dodged the attack again. It was, if possible, even faster than Raikou was. This battle was going to be exceptionally long and arduous.

Amanda was watching the chaos and destruction the pokemons were causing due to the release of the Legendary Dogs when her receiver started to bip once again. Raising an eyebrow, Amanda grabbed the receiver to hear the new orders from Team Zero.

[i]"All members report to base."[/i]

"Well were we go again..." she said looking at Null "They want us in the main base. To call all Zero opperatives, I bet someone big is comming on." She glanced one last time to the chaos and destruction surronding them. "Mind of giving me a ride? I don't feel like walking or anything...."

Akira heard a deafening cry, and ran atop a cliff, where he watched a battle between Suicune and a man. "Suicune? This seems interesting..." he thought as he moved aside when a Thunderbolt attack came charging his way.

"Wow...it's dangerous being here" Akira thought as he looked down at Suicune's opponent. "Raikou?" he thought in awe. "Man, this gets ore and more exciting" he mumbled as he looked down at the battle.

"Oops...I forgot, I have somewhere to go" he thought, as he got up to leave.
"But, first..." he took out his Pokedex and scanned Suicune. "There! Now, for the next city" he thought as he wandered off...

Raikou and Suicune blurred around their battleground too fast for Daylien to keep up with. He had to trust in Raikou's instincts and type advantage more than anything. But the rage in Suicune's eyes... What could cause such ferocity? Suddenly, the pair landed facing each other... Raikou was erect, and ready for more. While Suicune, although snarling viciously, was panting from the exertion of the battle. "Raikou, use Substitute!"

Raikou appeared to evaporate into thin air, completely confusing it's opponent. Really, it was above Suicune, preparing to strike.

"Thunderbolt!" Daylien shouted. The resulting blast shook the landscape for miles around. The skies above crackled with sparks and discharge from the ferocity. What astounded Daylien was that Suicune was still standing when the blast was over.

It shook itself down for a moment before nodding to Raikou who nodded back. Suicune then turned to Daylien and bowed very slightly.

"Your welcome," Daylien replied, "I'm glad to have battled you."

Suicune then blurred off into the night...

Meanwhile...

"Professor, I can see an island that looks bigger than the others!" Yana yelled over the rush of the wind, "There are cliffs surrounding it on all sides! It looks like the only way in is by flying!"

"That certainly would maximise security!" Palm yelled in reply, "Take us down Bahamut!"

Bahamut nodded as they began their descent into the fortress of Team Zero.

Null then pressed a button on his belt, suddenly a Kadabra appeared through teleport. "You can take a ride with me, I caught this one a while back, now come, to Zero island..."
meanwhile...
Shogo had finally arrived at Amethyst Town where he saw someone (Yana) take off into the ocean, "They must be after Team Zero, I should check this out..." Shogo ran and jumped into the air, Quagsire then came out and Shogo rode him since Quagsire knew surf. He eventually caught up to the person who said "-island that looks bigger than the others!" Shogo yelled out to him through the wind of the storm that had come not too long ago, "Hey! Do you have any idea what's going on!?"

Yana turned around and spotted a trainer following them on a Quagsire ([i]"He's a quick little *******..."[/i]). "Hey, what the hell are you doing all the way out here?! You'll get out of here if you know what's good for you!" Yana knew exactly how that sounded as he said it, but this was no time to be subtle. The razor sharp rocks surrounding Zero Island would cut anything to pieces, whether it be Pokemon or boat. Groaning, Yana motioned to Bahamut to dive to meet the Quagsire. "I don't know if you'll be any safer where we're going than out here," Yana said, "But at least this way I can keep an eye on you."

Meanwhile...

"Report," grunted Daylien as he marched into the Infinity offices.

"Professor Palm has gone after Violet to Zero Island," one of the secretaries said, hurriedly.

"What?! Alone?!"

"No, apparently a young trainer is with him. A boy named Yana."

Daylien had heard of this Yana. Falsely accused of the bombardment of state property, wanted criminal but an opposer of all things Zero. "Palm is going to need more help than that. I'm going to follow them."

"But wait sir! Your presence is requested at a meeting!"

The Infinity leader had been getting awful mouthy recently and Daylien was beginning to get tired of it. "Make up an excuse. I don't care what it is." Before she could reply again, he stormed out.

"I'm here to stop Team Zero, I've heard rumors about them on the Ship I worked on, I also have a reason to believe that-" then the other trainer interrupted him, he probably couldn't hear him talk anyway because of the storm, so Shogo just shut up as the trainer signaled Dive. "Keep an eye on me? How old do you think I am ten?" Shogo didn't like being treated like a child, but in this case he had no time to argue.

As soon as they landed and made sure they were hidden Yana and Professor Palm breathed a deep sigh of relief. Then, Yana rounded on the newcomer. "Listen, I don't care what age you are because it doesn't matter. You're still, pretty obviously, clueless. And here, that can get you killed quicker than you can call out an attack."

"Now Yana... Give the boy a break. He's only trying to be helpful," Professor Palm whispered sternly.

"I know that Professor. And I'm trying to save his life. This group are twice as organised as Team Galactic and four times as organised as Team Rocket. We need to be [i]prepared[/i]."

OoC: Don't post with Shogo again until Kirby does. We need to know what the base is like and that's his job.

"Luckily, I have this from back in the old days." Palm pulled out a Team Zero uniform, which was neatly folded. But sadly, I can't wear it. The years aren't exactly my friend, you know," he said, patting his stomach, "But I'm pretty sure you can fit in it, Yana. Unless you'd object..."

Meanwhile...

"Haruki!" The girl came running from the boat towards Haruki.
"Kiruha! It's been forever! Gotten better?" replied the cousin.
"Of course. Want me to prove it?"
"Later time. I just got a call from Professor Palm. The Violet Shaymin has been kidnapped! They told me where it's been taken, and I'm flying there soon. Are you coming?"
"Sure! I've been itching for a battle ever since I got off that boat!" Haruki called out his Salamence and Kiruha called out her Togekiss, and both of them sped towards Zero Island.

"I swore I'd never put one of these on..." Yana sighed making a face of disgust, "I guess desperate times call for desperate measures though... Gimme a minute."

One minute later...

"Ugh... Professor, you could have at least washed it," Yana complained.

"It's not exactly high on my to do list," Professor Palm retorted, "Now, you need to do two things while you're in there. First, download a map of the complex into your Pokegear from any terminal. Then, steal three more uniforms. Haruki's on his way as well."

"I guess that means shorty here is now part of the gang," Yana said as he walked away, "Fan-flipping-tastic..."

Yana was a little against walking up to the front gate of the Zero headquarters without Bahamut or Metal Gear watching his flanks. But he knew he had to act like he owned the place. That way he would be asked fewer questions. The guard at the front gate gave him a casual nod which he returned without altering his expression. [i]He was in![/i] Now to find that computer terminal. He doubted it would be signposted.

He was wary of going too high or too low in the complex for fear of being asked questions so he decided on a thorough search of the floor he was on. Lucky for him the first thing he found was the locker rooms. He would come back here when looking for uniforms.

Another half hour into his search, he heard voices from down the corridor.

"...we're taking Indigo up to level 8 as a precaution."

Yana slipped in a nearby room so he wasn't seen by these higher ups and found himself facing the largest computer monitor he had ever seen. [i]"Bingo!"[/i] he laughed.

Back outside, Yana dumped a sports bag he had stolen with the uniforms in it and flipped open his Pokegear to show the Professor the map. "Success. Now, they said they were moving 'Indigo' up to this level here. I reckon that's a codename for Violet."

"Hello down there!" a voice said quietly enough to avoid detection. A stocky, bald man leapt off a Fearow and greeted Professor Palm.

"This is a surprise Admin Daylien. But a pleasant one," Palm replied.

[i]"Shorty!?"[/i] Shogo thought and put the costume on immediatly, "Fine, I'll join your little infantry team. He then watched as the Admin approached, "Huh, so I guess I am the youngest one here?" [i]"DAMN!"[/i]
meanwhile...
Null had just teleported to the Island with Amanda, "We have to get into the base..." As Null headed for the base, he released his Absol to scout the island for intruders, the Kadabra went with Absol in case they were attacked.

Akira was on his way to a city when a shadowy figure ran past him, lunged up into the air, and landed several feet in front of him. "Suicune!" he shouted. Suicune roared. Akira was puzzled why, but it wanted a battle. "A battle?" Akira thought. Then, he smiled. "Sure, you're on, Suicune!" he shouted a he threw a Pokeball into the air. "Milotic, show yourself!". The Pokeball opened to reveal a serpent-like Pokemon.

"Alright! Milotic, use Surf!" Milotic glowed blue, then a tidal wave appeared, crashing itself towards Suicune. Suicune looked at it, then jumped high up into the air. Akira smiled. "Heh...Now, use Ice Beam to freeze the entire field!" Akira declared as Milotic sent an Ice Beam running through the entire grassy plains. Suicune started to fall back towards the ground. "Now, Milotic! Surf again as Suicune comes down!" Milotic glowed and sent another tidal wave at Suicune. As the Surf hit Suicune, Suicune glowed turquoise. "Shoot...Calm Mind..." Akira thought as the Surf hit Suicune. The attack connected, but Suicune was barely weakened.

As Suicune landed, it started to lose its balance, but caught itself as it fell. Then, it launched a rainbow-colored Aurora Beam at Milotic. "Milotic, counterattack with Ice Beam!" Akira ordered as the two frigid attacks hit each other, causing an icy explosion. "I have one move that will work, but it requires precise timing" Akira thought as he looked up at Milotic. "Now, charge in with another Ice Beam!" Milotic let off another Ice Beam, which Suicune dodged by jumping up into the air. Akira's eyes flashed. "Now!" he looked at Milotic and declared, "Shoot Ice Twister!" Milotic charged up an Ice Beam, then immediately sent in a Surf attack. As the Ice Beam fired, the Surf rose up against it, creating a frozen wave that was encrusted with spikes charging at Suicune. Suicune charged into the frozen icicle tower using Hydro Pump, but the Ice Beam continued to freeze the Hydro Pump as well. As a desperate attempt to cushion the damage, Suicune used Calm Mind again.

The Ice Twister combination connected with Suicune, causing it to fall. However, though shaken, Suicune got up quickly. Then, it fired off a Blizzard attack towards Milotic. "Milotic! Wash that attack away with Surf!" Akira ordered as the blue aura around Milotic released another tidal wave, washing over the blizzard. "Now! Before the Surf stops, charge in!" he declared as Milotic charged straight into the Surf attack. Its body went right through and its head appeared right in front of Suicune. "Now, Hypnosis!" Milotic let out a psychic wave, and with no time to dodge the close-ranged Hypnosis, Suicune was unable to escape. It fell over, asleep. "Good job, Milotic!" Akira called out as he threw a Poke Ball at the Suicune. "Suicune, I need you to help me!" he said quietly as the Poke Ball hit Suicune. Suicune disappeared as a red light into the Poke Ball. It shook for about 10 seconds then stopped. Akira sighed...

Amanda walked to the base accompanied by Null, not stoping to great the members at the entrance. For some reason the boss wanted them there. After walkign around the long halls, Amanda and Null finally reached an elevator, where a mecanic voice greated them:

"Operative Amanda, nºA25SA200. Destination, last floor."

[i]"Identification confirmed. Welcome Operative Ferguson."[/i]

Once the elevator reached it's destination, Amanda stormed out, only stopping at the entrance of Team Zero's Boss room.

"You ready Null?"

Null entered the elevator and put on a technological piece of Eye ware over his eyes. There was a collar on Absol with a camera in it, this way Null could see what Absol saw on the outside. Then when the doors opened up, Null took off his eye piece and exited the elevator. When Amanda asked if he was ready, he simply walked into the room, and took his seat at the table in the center of the room, each admin had their own seat, you needed to remember where yours was, Null's was right across from the leader at the foot of the Table, a very nice spot.

(OOC: Whew... finally. When the weekend comes, expect a bigger one; the climax of this arc. Gonna work on it throughout the week.)

Yoru sat down at his desk while multiple admins and other ranking figures sat in chairs around it.
"Amanda and Null, I want you two to accompany me to Level 8. One of our scouts has informed us that the Professor, along with several others are headed to this base at this very moment. Victor, you will head over to Sector 3 and wait for them to pass. Hopefully, you can stop them there. Take a few grunts with you if you need to. All the rest of you will return to your previous duties, but remain alert."
"Yes, sir!" replied each one, as they left the room. Yoru detained Amanda and Null, telling them to follow him through a secret pathway in his room.

Meanwhile...

Kiruha was the only one who wasn't wearing a costume.
"I'm not going to stay out here. I'm going in whether you want to or not." She was adamant in her position, and refused to take no for an answer.
"Here's an idea," said Haruki, "How about you pretend to have gotten caught sneaking in by us, and we take you to where Violet is,"
Kiruha pondered this, "Sure! But I'd rather just storm in there."
Palm spoke up then. "But what would happen if another grunt decided to follow? How will we explain it?"
"Let me see the map." Haruki looked for where the holding cells were. "Oh, look, the cells are conveniently place next to the room where Violet is! This'll be a snap!"
"Then let's go already!" Kiruha was excited. Last time she infiltrated a base was back in Kanto, when Team Rocket tried to come back again. Each of them took their positions and entered the base.
"Come on, move it, lady!" said Haruki, pushing her along.
"What happened here?" asked another grunt.
"Found this little brat trying to sneak into our base." Haruki replied, "She's being taken to the cells on the upper level, Level 8."
"Very well, proceed." The grunt saluted and continued on his path. They reached a door labeled "Sector 3." Upon opening it, they saw who was on the other side.
"Victor. You traitor." Palm showed contempt towards Victor, and how he was betrayed.
"Enough whining, old man," he replied. He then turned to the grunts behind him. "Restrain them." The men complied, and none of the trainers could move.
"Victor! Why are you doing this? I thought you worked with Team Infinity!"
"You didn't know? Very well, I'll tell you anyways. Team Infinity is actually under Team Zero's control! They practically are Team Zero!"
"What do you mean?"
"Team Infinity is of the boss's creation. He formed them to keep the police at bay, so they won't have to worry about them. But, of course, most Infinity members didn't know this! Their 'boss' is named Ruyo, and he hates all things that have to do with Team Zero. But of course, you would never have guessed." The grunts began to take them back to the entrance. The trainers struggled, but to no avail. When all hope seemed gone, a familiar cry was heard.
"Viii!!" The small fire Pokemon jumped from out of its hiding spot and attacked the grunts. Using a new move, it spread a powerful blast of fire around at the grunts. Unfortunately, this attack singed Palm and the others as well. But it was a minor loss.
"Why you little!!" Victor got up and put out small flames on his shirt, "Go, Venusaur!" The gigantic Pokemon burst out of its Pokeball. "Power Whip!" Venusaur sent out its vines at Victini, but the little fire Pokemon dodged quickly.
Palm turned around and whispered to the others, "Quick, while Victor is distracted, let's go!" The group successfully snuck past the ensuing battle, escaping and continiued to make their way to Level 8, where Victini was located.

Null nodded and followed Yoru, "Sir, there is something you should know. Those papers I stole from that grunt of team 'infinity'." Null said with the quotation marks as he knew that Team infinity was actually team Zero, "He wasn't following the command of you sir, he was doing research for someone else in Infinity. Unfortunatly I don't know who, but someone might know your secret and planned on using you." Null said as they followed the passage way, he just had to say something though.

[Sweetie Belle]

Palm and the group made their way to the lab where Violet was being kept. Yoru was waiting there to greet them.
"So glad you could come, Charles," he said, chuckling. Null was standing right next to him.
"Yoru, how dare you... Pokemon can't be treated like this!" Palm tried to confront Yoru, "Let Violet go!"
"And why should I?"
"I'll defeat you! If I win, you have to let Violet go!"
"And if I win, I'm free to do as I please with it."
Palm reluctantly agreed, and the two began their battle. Palm sent out his Pokemon first. "Go, Espeon!" The purple feline jumped out of its ball, and landed on the battlefield.
"Come forth, Archaeos! ([url="http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/567.shtml"]See here[/url]) Attack with Crunch!" The ancient bird lunged at Espeon with its jaws opened wide. The little Pokemon tried to dodge, but the bird was too quick. It chomped down on Espeon. When it let go, the feline rolled onto the floor, unconscious.
"Espeon!" Palm called as he returned the Pokemon to its Pokeball, "Go, Luna!" The black Pokemon burst out next.
"Very well. Go, Archaeos, Rock Slide!" Multiple rocks were flung at the Umbreon, but then Luna pulled off an extraordinary move. It jumped from rock to rock and avoided the bird's attacks. It reached Archaeos and attacked it with a powerful headbutt. It fell towards the ground. "Archaeos, U-turn!" The bird Pokemon flew towards Luna, and struck it head-on. Then it turned around and flew straight back into its Pokeball.
"Come forth, Ulgamoth! ([url="http://www.serebii.net/pokedex-bw/637.shtml"]See here[/url]) Flare Blitz!" The red moth charged at Luna, and the attack connected. Luna fell back, unconscious.
"Grr..." Palm recalled Luna to its Pokeball.
"Well, well, Charles, looks like you lost. And you were so good years ago. Looks like you got rusty. But that's the end. I can keep your Shaymin."
"Not if I can help it! I challenge you now!" Haruki stepped forward to battle Yoru after Palm's lost.
Kiruha stepped up next to him. "You mean [i]we[/i] challenge him, right?"
Yoru chuckled at the two. "So, the Mirai kids are here to stop me? What a surprise. I'll take you both on!" Join Ulgamoth and fight, Archaeos!" The ancient Pokemon came back out and prepared for battle.
"Go! Togi!"
"Go! Polygon!" Both trainers' Pokemon emerged from their Pokeballs and onto the battlefield. "Polygon, use Hyper Beam!" The pink and blue Pokemon fired away its orange beam. Ulgamoth tried to dodge, but failed to, and was hit head-on by the blast. It was knocked back a few feet, but it remained in the air, and conscious.
"Togi, attack with Aura Sphere!" Togi obeyed and created a blue ball of light. It bounced it a few times and then launched it towards Archaeos. The bird attempted to dodge, and it did so successfully. But, the sphere turned to continue on its course towards Archaeos, and hit. The bird fell to the ground, but stood up quickly. Still weak, it fired a flamethrower at Togekiss, but the Pokemon was able to dodge, but not without a burn on its left foot.
"Ulgamoth, use Flare Blitz! Get that PorygonZ!" The giant moth, cloaked in fire, rushed at Polygon, but unfortunately missed. It continued, however, and struck the wall instead. The Pokemon became injured from it and staggered back, before fainting. Yoru called it back to its Pokeball.
"Ulgamoth, return. Come forth, Rampardos!" The giant Pokemon came out of its Pokeball and roared. "Head Smash!" Rampardos rushed towards Togekiss, and the attack connected. Togekiss was launched back and hit the wall, and then fainted.
"Togi! No!" Kiruha sighed and held up her Pokeball, "Come on back. You need a rest." The Pokemon glowed red and then retreated to the red and white capsule. "Now, come on! Abs!" Absol appeared on the field in a flash. "Night Slash!" Abs's scythe on its head glowed white, and then it disappeared in an instant. In the next second, it reappeared right in front of Rampardos and attacked. Rampardos took heavy damage, but remained in place.
Haruki decided to call his Pokemon back. Polygon glowed red and returned to its ball. "Go! Kekking!" The giant sloth Pokemon appeared in its relaxed position onto the battlefield. Yoru smirked.
"Heh, I remember that Pokemon. It was the one your father used against me years ago. But now I'll beat you and your pathetic Pokemon! Rampardos, use Giga Impact!" The dinosaur rushed Slaking, but it wasn't fast enough.
"Slaking, Hammer Arm!" Slaking lifted its arm and pounded down on Rampardos. The attack looked brutal; Rampardos's head was smashed into the ground. However, Rampardos managed to get up, but only for a short while; it fainted afterward.
"Rampardos! Grr... That Slaking is still strong, but that still won't stop me! Go! Archaeos, use Hyper Beam!" The bird charged up its attack, and fired it at Slaking. Slaking didn't even try to dodge it, however, it let the attack connect. It rolled back a few feet, but overall, it seemed unfazed. It yawned lazily. Then it sat up.
"Slaking, use Giga Impact!" It ran quickly, albeit heavily, at Archaeos, and rammed it. The bird flew back into the wall, and when it fell out, it had already fainted.
"Grr... You won't beat me this easily! I still have my last Pokemon! But... it's not in a Pokeball." Yoru ran over to a computer and input a code. A cloaking device on a nearby wall, which was undamaged, decloaked to reveal a tank with a recognisable Pokemon. Mewtwo. Except it was... enhanced with electronics and other sorts of machinery. The fluid in the tank was drained, and the clear tube lowered. Wires disconnected and the Pokemon stepped out. Mewtwo faced Abs and Kekking and prepared for battle...

"Hahaha! Meet my best fighter! Mewtwo!" Yoru pushed buttons again and Mewtwo's former tank was hidden once again.
Haruki saw the equipment on Mewtwo and remembered it from years ago. It was just like the set that the Rocket Leader put on this same Pokemon.
"You can't control Mewtwo! He'll escape like he did from Giovanni!" Haruki yelled.
"Oh, but he can't. You see, this armor is enhanced, and it even can control his very thoughts. He won't escape, or even try to think of it!"
"That's cruel! We'll make sure you don't get away with this!" Kiruha cried out, "Abs! Use Shadow Claw!" Absol ran at Mewtwo, with its claw glowing purple. It raised its claw and brought it down onto Mewtwo. But Mewtwo was more powerful. It simply raised its hand and stopped Absol's attack completely. It then threw it against the wall, knocking it out.
"Abs! Not you!" Kiruha cried out to her Pokemon. "Grr... Return." The Pokemon was recalled to its Pokeball. Kiruha sent out another one. "Go! Bliss!" The pink, egg shaped Pokemon emerged onto the battlefield. "Bliss! Go at it with Thunder Wave!"
Blissey understood and fired forward a yellow, electrical pulse. Mewtwo simply raised its hand again and stopped it with an invisible barrier. Kiruha was shocked.
"H-how it this possible? No Pokemon can be this powerful!" she stuttered.
"Oh, but my dear, it is possible. Mewtwo, do your job." Mewtwo's visor glowed, and Blissey was lifted into the air, quite high, at that. Mewtwo lowered its hand, and Blissey was slammed into the ground. Then it lifted her up again, but while Blissey was in midair, she shot an Ice Beam at Mewtwo's hand. The attack was able to hit, and Mewtwo's equipment was rendered inoperable by being encased in ice. It dropped Blissey, and attempted to shatter the ice.
Haruki stepped forward. "My turn! Slaking, go at it with Giga Impact!" Slaking sat up and rushed at Mewtwo at full speed. Mewtwo took the full force of the attack, and was knocked back into the wall past Yoru.
"What?! How can this happen?! Mewtwo! Get back up and finish them!" Mewtwo slowly got up and out of the wall. Then all of those in the room noticed something: Mewtwo's armor was falling off! The chestplate, gauntlets and others began to crack and fall to the floor. The only remaining part was the helmet, still partially controlling Mewtwo. It raised its hand, and threw both of the opposing Pokemon into the floor, KO'ing both of them. Both Pokemon were called back to their Pokeballs. Kiruha felt she wouldn't get anywhere. Haruki started to give up. Then, a familiar cry was heard.

"VIIII!!!" Victini blasted through the door with a powerful Flamethrower. It then fired a more focused one at the helmet Mewtwo was wearing. Mewtwo attempted to block it, but failed to, and the helmet was destroyed. Mewtwo collapsed, and then spoke, through telepathy:

[i]I... What happened?[/i] It began to look around consciously, [i]I did this? But I... You.[/i] It turned to face Yoru, and used psychic powers to hold him against the wall. [i]You did this to me! You tried to control me again![/i]

At that moment, a squad of police barged in. "Hold it right there, Yoru! You're under arrest!" Their Growlithes surrounded him, while Mewtwo backed away. One of the officers handcuffed him, and he was promptly led out of the room, presumably to jail.
"We'd like to thank you for helping capture the Team Zero Leader," said the leader of the squad, "And I'd like to-- wait, you, there. Are you Yana?"
Palm stepped next to Yana and responded for him. "This is Yana Archer, yes. He was the one who helped us get here, when he realised that Violet was kidnapped." Mewtwo then came up to Palm, holding a sleeping Violet in his arms.
[i]Here,[/i] it said, [i]Violet will be fine. It is only sleeping.[/i] Palm took the Shaymin into his arms and thanked the Pokemon.
The squad leader then looked at Yana. "Seeing as you are the most responsible for the capture of the Zero Leader, I hereby void the warrant for your arrest. You are no longer a wanted man."

Later, at Amethyst Town...

"Welcome back, Haruki! And your friends as well." Kochiyo embraced her little brother, along with Chillarmy, hugging his leg. "You're just in time, too! The Gracidea are about to bloom!" The entire group went out into the garden, and watched, as a whole bunch of pink flowers bloomed. But there was one flower that stood out among the rest. The Violet Gracidea. Violet awoke and jumped into the field. many of the pink Gracidea could be seen rustling as it made its way to the center. Violet then touched the Violet Gracidea, and transformed. It flew out of the field, and landed on Haruki's head. Everyone smiled. Then, one person noticed a figure in the air above them. He pointed it out, and they all turned to look. There was Mewtwo, watching the entire scene.
