"Vii?" Victini was confused at why his opponent ran. He walked over to him, not noticing Team Zero. It started tugging on Dimitry's pant leg.
"There it is!" one grunt called out.
"Don't let it get away!" called another.
"Viiii!!" Victini began to dodge each of Team Zero's attempts to grab it. In it's defense, it fired of a powerful Fire Type attack, Complete Burn. The Grunts were scorched, but the Admin was able to dodge. Victini fired away again. Admin dodged again, but the Grunts were hit. Again. The V on Victini's head began glowing again, and it fired off its Complete Burn again. The Admin jumped to dodge, but the flames followed him. It connected, and the Admin was blasted many feet into the air.
"Grr, that's it! Go, Rhyperior!" The Admin threw a Pokeball, and out came the giant Rock-Ground Pokemon. "Use Rock Wrecker!" Rhyperior aimed its arm at Victini and fired. Victini stood, paralysed in fear, as the giant rock hurtled towards it.
"Aura Sphere!" Suddenly, a blue sphere appeared and shattered the rock. Haruki came running up to the scene with all six of his Pokemon out of their Pokeballs. "What's with all the noise out here. I was trying to sleep."
"Grr, you?!" The Admin apparently knew Haruki from an earlier time. "You're the kid who beat me back in Emerald Forest!"
"Well, that's because I'm better."
"That was just a fluke! Rhyperior! Hammer Arm!" Rhyperior raised its arm to strike Lucario.
"Aura Sphere!" Lucario fired its Aura Sphere right under Rhyperior's arm. The Pokemon staggered back a few feet. "Go at it again!" Lucario fired off another Aura Sphere, this time at the enemy Pokemon's face. Rhyperior fell down, and was knocked out.
"Grr, useless. Rhyperior, return! Come forth, Steelix!" The Admin threw another Pokeball out. It opened up, and out of the signature white light appeared the giant metal Pokemon.
"I think I'll give someone else a turn," said Haruki.

"Charizard Flamethrower." Dimitry shouted. Victinis V shaped head glowed and the strong fire type move chases down the steel type pokemon and struck it at it's heart. the huge steelix feel with a thud.

"Steelix get up! Use dig." The Admin called.

"Charizard use Blast Burn into the hole."

"Come up now steelix." Steelix's attack hit knocking Charizard into the air.

"Charizard fly up as high as you can then use Dive boom Fire Blast." Charizard flew about a half mile into the air then dive boomed at steelix. "Now spin and Fire Blast." Charizard begain to sipn and used fire blast turning himself into a fire ball meteor. The attack hit sending steelix a cupole of feet back. "Now use Flamethrower again." the fire ball of an attack hit its mark and ko'd the steel type pokemon.

"Another useless pokemon, Retuen." the admin called out, As it raised the pokeball to recall steelix.

"That was to easy next?" Dimitry asked with a smuge sumrk on his face.
"Char-Charizard!" His faithful compainune called while blasting another fire ball in to the air.

"Right boys, we can't let them hog all the glory!" Yana shouted enthusiastically. He rarely was able to let loose in a Pokemon battle in such a fashion and so he was eager to get stuck into the nimble looking Golbat that the Grunts had called out after each gradually recovering.

Batman and Bahamut roared in unison, spoiling for the fight.

"Batman use Rock Polish and Bahamut grab their attention with your strongest Fire Blast!"

Batman's scales began to glint in the light of the morning sun as his speed was catapulted to heights that no Pokemon could attain without such assistance. His excited "Gli..." was followed by gasps of awe as the Grunts could hardly follow the Pokemon's movements.

This distraction allowed Bahamut to release a fully-charged Fire Blast that char-broiled two of the opposing Golbat instantly. They may be fast, and they may be easier to control than most Pokemon. But these Golbat grunts were no match for the attack of a well cared for dragon like Bahamut.

Yana grabbed Batman's Poke Ball and yelled "Use Baton Pass!"

Batman grinned mockingly at their two remaining opponents before disappearing in a flash of red light.

"Metal Gear, let's finish them off!" Yana shouted, feeling more and more enthused by the second.

Metal Gear appeared in another flash of red light, invigorated by the Rock Polish that Batman had passed to it. It let out an ear-splitting roar that was particularly painful to the delicate ears of the bats.

"Finish them off with Meteor Mash!"

Only the newcomer's Lucario and Yana managed to see it, Metal Gear was gone in a flash before reappearing a split second later having one of it's four titanic fists collided with both Pokemon, sending them sailing a hundred yards through the air.

Smiling broadly, Yana said, "Well I guess that's settled then." He rounded on the Admin, "Unless you think you can handle all of us at once!?"

"Damn right run!" Dimitry called as the sdmin and his grunts ran in fear. charizard roared and lowered its large head to dimitrys hip nuging at its pokeball. "Ok buddy time to sleep." Dimitry remooved the ball from his belt and called out. "Charizard return."

"This isn't the last time you'll see us, We'll be back, and next time you won't be so lucky..... Hahahahahahahahahahahahah." The admin laughed as they dissipered into the woods.

"Riolu come out." Riolu sprang to life. "Now listen follow them and wen you catch up to 'em and use focus blast but dont hit them derectly you now how we scare enemy's.

"Return everybody," Yana said calmly, pointing two Pokeballs at Bahamut and Metal Gear. He then decided to walk round and retrieve Leviathan from the small, but exceptionally deep pool at the back of the Professor's laboratory. "Sorry you missed the action Leviathan," Yana said apologetically, "Return." He then returned round the side of the laboratory to find the Professor closely examining the little, fire Pokemon with Espeon close at hand in a protective manner. Yana patted Espeon saying "Thanks for warning us about them."

Espeon purred from the praise and returned to protecting it's master.

"Professor, are you and the Pokemon alright?" Yana asked fairly urgently.

"Yes," Palm said with a smile, "Thanks to the three of you. Thank you Dimitry, Yana, Haruki."

Yana was wary for a second having his name mentioned but it didn't seem to raise any suspicions.

The red little Pokemon then appeared excitedly from around the corner, clearly realising the danger had passed. It was bouncing around the group rather playfully, seeming to like Haruki and Yana in particular. "Vii, Viii!"

"Professor..." Yana said curiously, "This Pokemon looks to be related to Mew... What is it..?"

Palm simply shook his head as he stroked the little Pokemon.

Yana took that to mean 'I'll explain later...'

"Come in all of you. You must be hungry after that battle." Palm said with his returned, kind manner.

"Yes Professor I think if these guy are as hungry as I am we could eat a horse each." Dimitry said patting his stomach. "I think our pokemon are just as hungry as we are... Right guys?"
"So Professor wats for breakfast? Can we make our own food?" Dimitry asked as he walked through the back dor following everone else. Espeon started to hiss at Dimitry again. "Espeon come on you just saw me help the Professor save Victini." He stated as he kelled down and stuck his hand out taword Espeon. Espeon bit Dimitry. "Ah that hurt what was that for?" Dimitry shouted as he shook his hand in the air. As he did so.... Espeon laid at Dimitry's feet and pirred. "So can i pet you now?" Dimitry asked as he bent over to pet Espeon........ she rooled over and let Dimitry pet her stomach.

"Admin where is the Victini you were supose to capture?" Mason asked. "The boss told you to capture it and bring it back. If you don't have it then you should just leasve now."

"We tried to get our hands on it but it torched all the grunts. Then there were these three trainers that showed up, two of them destroied my pokemon and the third on took out all of the grunts golbats in one shot."

"No excuses. You were told to get that pokemon...... No exseptions!" Mason shoted as he pionted to the bosses chamber. "You can tell the boss that you screwed up.... Cus I'm not geting blamed for your mistakes."

"Yes, Sir!" The Admin stood at attention and walked into the bosses chamber. "Sir we were unable to capture the Victini."

Somewhere in Team Zero's Secret Hideout.

The hallways were dark and silent as usual. Most of the operatives were out in missions or doing something else, leaving the hideout working only with the necessary members.
In in of those rooms was Amanda, sitting in front of a computer, reading the reports of the last missions (failed or not), while petting her Espeon with her free hand. Her Espeon purred and kept walking in circles, amused by the affection of her mistress.
Amanda was wearing a black and white futuristic uniform, with a huge "0" in the front. Her blond hair was covering part of her face, not allowing her face to be seen.

"Miss...?" Someone asked, knocking at the door "Your presence is required in the meeting room. The last squad came back from their mission, and seems that was another failure."

Amanda simply chuckled and quickly retrieved her Espeon to the pokeball, quickly standing up and walking fast to the meeting room, completly ignoring the operative that called her. The infuriating screams of their boss could be heard in the hallways as he commented on the recent failure of the group. When the double doors opened, she walked in, standing near the exit door with her arms crossed.

"Oh my..." She said with a sarcastic smile on her lips, revealing her eyes hidden beneath a victorian-mask look-alike "Another failure? Don't you guys ever learn? What is your big excuse this time?"

"Same as always Amanda.... The pokemon fought back and then trainers got involed and beat them all." Mason said as he pulled out a chair and motioned for her to sit down. "Come sit..... You'll be filed in more as the meeting goes on."

"But Sir what do you want us to do now that we no that Palm has security to keep both of the pokemon safe?" The Admin asked.

"Admin you and your team return to your old post and watch Palms lab and the Violet shaymin. Mason since you have evry few failed missions. You may take a team of four with you and go to the Emerald forest and capture us a normal shaymin so we can continue or tests." The boss said.

"Sir yes Sir I won't let you down." Dimitry replied and after a moment of thinking. "Sir can I just take one Person and a grunt with me?"

"I don't see why not." the boss said in reply.

"Ok Amanda and you there. Come with me were going to get a Shaymin form the forest." Dimitry said as he started tawords the double doors and down the hallway.

Yana was sitting at a far corner of the Professor's house, quietly eating several pieces of toast. Despite being helpful against Team Zero earlier, his reputation was still pretty infamous so he didn't want to draw attention to himself. Instead, he contented himself with watching the little Victini bounce around the lab in a child-like manner. [i]"That fire attack it launched was one of the most powerful I've ever seen..."[/i] Yana thought slowly, [i]"It also didn't look like an attack I recognise..."[/i] He stroked the little Pokemon on the cheek as it continued to squeak playfully. "Why do Team Zero want to get their grubby hands on you?" Yana asked it aloud.

"You names Yana right. I think I....... Yes I saw your picture on a wanted poster in the pokemon center in Diamond City." Dimitry said as he sat next to Yana and patted Victini on the head jentally. "Don't worry I'm not going to turn you in or anything. I saw the way you battled those grunts and the Admin. You're a good guy but every one thinks you're up to no good. So im with you." Dimitry said with a smile on his face and his hand exstended out to shack Yanas hand. "So are you going to shack my hand or let me sit here looking like a retard?" dimitry said with a slit chuckle. Victini looked at the two of them and grabbed their hands and put them together and started moving them up and down.

Yana's sense of urgency and alarm was overcome my amazement at the intelligence of the little Pokemon floating between them. Despite it's child-like behaviour it clearly understood every word that Dimitry had just uttered. [i]"I wonder what else you're capable of little guy..."[/i] Yana thought at Victini, scratching him behind the ears. He then turned to Dimitry with a slight frown... "Yes... well information and situations can often be misconstrued as my Salamence knows only too well. He was trying to protect a nest of young Zubat in an abandoned industrial district of Port Opal from a group of Team Zero goons who were looking for fresh troops... I stepped in thinking Salamence was causing trouble but decided to help when I realised what he was really doing. That's when I fell onto Officer Jenny's radar..." Yana sighed and made sure Haruki wasn't paying attention to their discussion. He may not be quite so immediately understanding.

"Well I understand how that feels... Me and my Charizard were takin into custady Because the leader of the small branch of team zero in the Johto region has a shiny Charmander and the First officer jenny I saw thought I was the Zero leader." Dimitry said letting Yana no that they were two in the same. "But It's not the same as the situation your in. Your being chased by the police evry time some one relizes that it's you on the wanted posters. So what are your plans to set things right?" Dimitry asked with a slim short smile on his face.

"Well one conviction isn't going to do much damage to your credibility..." Yana spat a little harshly before he strode out the back door. He would have to apologise to Dimitry for that later... He just didn't like reliving the harsh moments, especially those involving his loyal dragon partner. He took out Bahamut's Pokeball, "Come on out my friend,"

Bahamut appeared on the ground before Yana, and shot his master a quizzical look.

"Do you remember the day we met old friend?" Yana asked rather solemnly.

The dragon nodded, growling with it's expression turning glum. The fires that day, two years ago among the docks, were raging. The Arcanine of Team Zero had set fire to a large portion of the industrial district of Port Opal. Bahamut carried an entire nest of Zubat out to the safety of the countryside on it's back, getting burnt and scarred in the process. Civilians and passers-by blamed the dragon for the destruction and so no-one would allow Yana to heal it at their Pokemon Centre. He had to care for Bahamut by hand, by himself for nearly a full week, in the solitude of the woods. They had to be far enough away to evade the law, but close enough to be able to steal medical supplies and potions... Bahamut was moody ever since but eternally loyal to Yana.

They sat outside for a while, enjoying the peace and quiet together. Yana hoped the Professor would come and explain a few things while the other two would leave him alone for the time being.

"I think I hit a raw nerve Victini." Dimitry said to the little pokemon with a sigh. "so what to do now." Dimitry thought to himself as he headed to the front door. "Um Professor I'm going to head out I'm going to the granet gym to start the gym challenge. and then I'll head down to the Team Infinity base to get more heads up on Team Zero." Dimitry said as he walked out the door. "Riolu come out. Ok we're going to the first gym here so we can start our chalenge and then we're heading to the Team Infinity base."
"Ri-Riolu." The little fox like pokemon shouted and nudded its head.

Amanda smiled and looked at Mason, raising one of her eyebrows, giving him an inquisitive look.

"You need my help to go to a stinking forest to capture a pokemon? Those trainers at the lab might be a bigger problem then a wild pokemon, no matter how powerfull it may be. The trainers at the lab have been onto us, Mason. We seriously need to take them out as well."

She started walking, following Mason around the hallways, tossing her blond hair behind her back, while the sound oh her heels hitting the metal floor ecoed through the space.

"Let's just make sure that we don't fail this one."

"Amanda, don't worry about those trainers well take them out in do time. now do you have a pokemon that can carry you to the main land? Ino you dont grunt." Mason asked of Amanda and stated to the grunt that was with them. " by the way grunt what's your name?" Mason questioned. The grunt looked at him like he was crazy. "What I dont want to be calling you grunt the whole time we're out in the feild.
"Ok Sir... My name is Jamie." The grunt answered proudly.
"Ok Jamie so what are your pokemon?'
"The tipical gurnt pokemon a Golbat, a Ninetails, and a Crobat

Amanda smirked as the grunt finally spoke, not stopping in her tracks.

"I thought you knew me better Mason." She replied while raising her jacket, exibiting her black belt with five pokeballs on it "You can pick anyone you wish. And since my pokemons are all dark and psychic... locating a pokemon in the woods shouldn't be that troublesome. I guess Espeon can take care of details like that."

She stopped talking for awhile, still thinking about the medlesome trainers. It appears that according to the infos she had about the lab attack, that they really were something else.

"I just hope you are right about those trainers. I would hate to get my hands dirty doing someone else's job. Not my style to deal with trash." She grined, with her face covered in shadows.

"Well Amanda, Jamie here are your pokemon transports to the mainland. Come out Dragonite, Flygon, Salamance." Mason called as he pulled up his hood and shiled at Amanda.
"Those trainers won't no what hit them if they get in my way.... my dragons are no match for anyone. i've never lost one battle with them by my sides."

"Sir what if we can't catch a shaymin?" Jamie asked.

"Well then we'll saty there untill we catch one." Dimitry replied as he smiled at Amanda. "So your pokemon can find our target with great pimslpisity?" Dimitry asked Amanda.

She smiled at the three Dragons and gently patted Salamence on the head, still glancing at the dragons.

"They can get the job done. All they need is to concentrate and don't be bothered. Espeon is my main tracker, so I guess she can find out our target rather easily."

Amanda takes Espeon's pokeball out and summons her purple pokemon, which curled around her legs. It seems to her that was just yesterday when she received an Eevee as her first pokémon. Since that day, Amanda and Eevee have been together, even when they lost at the Pokemon League. On that time, Espeon was the only pokemon that Amanda had that tried to cheer her up... with no sucess. When she was recruited to Team Zero, she decided to go for a twist in her personality and battling skills, keeping Espeon along with her all the time. Even if she was dark and cold inside, Espeon was always trying to reach the inner Amanda, the sweet one that once challenged the Pokemon League.

"She will get the work done, Mason." She stated with a decisive tone, calling Espeon back to her pokeball. "Shall we move then?"

[Sweetie Belle]

"Hm, a trivial matter. Our group in Emerald Forest has reported that they have located the place where the Shaymin live. Since this is farther away, shouldn't have any problems with those three trainers."

"Yes, Sir!" The Admin saluted to his boss. Then he turned around to give his team the command. "Everyone, move out!" The Admin exited the base and sent out his third Pokemon. "Come forth, Charizard!" The red Pokemon appeared out of its Pokeball. The Admin hopped on its back. "Don't let those brats see us!" Charizard took to the skies and flew towards Emerald Forest.

Meanwhile, at Team Infinity's base...

"Sir, we've gotten a message from the Professor! He's sending a trainer named Dimitry to meet us."
The man was on the video screen most of the time. He was rarely at the base in person. "Thank you. Prepare the base for an arrival..."

Meanwhile, in Amethyst Town...

"Well, Dimitry, it looks like Espeon finally likes you now!" Palm seemed happy to know that his Espeon was making more friends.
"Hey, I'm heading out to Port Opal in a few hours." said Haruki, "One of my cousins is sailing in from the Sevii Islands (If you don't know, that's in Kanto). She was always interested in Archaeology, especially in the ruins on Seven Island. I'm going to go to my sister's house to pick up a few things." After this statement, Haruki left the building.

[Master of The Dark]

"Amanda I just got word from the boss that hes send a second team to follow us and give asistance if we need it.... We'll be landing in a few minutes." Mason called through the air.
"Sir but why would the boss send a second team if he just sent out two of his best members and a back up grunt to do this job?" Jamie asked.
"I don't know. It's the boss so it's better not to question him." Mason said while he looked over at dimitry and then over at Jamie. "So lets just go catch us a damn shaymin."
"Yes Sir let get that flower pokemon already." Right as Jamie got done speaking the three dragons landed on the outside edge of the forest.

Amanda jumped off the dragon, putting her hands in her hips, glancing around. So that big green space filled with trees and wild pokemons was Emerald Forest.

"How nice... Now all we need to do is to search the target and aquire it." She smirked "How tough can this be?"

Grabbing one of her pokeballs, she tossed it like a dancing ballerina... the pokeball hitted the ground and her Espeon appeared out of it, with her caracteristic pose, while the empty ball returned to Amanda's hand.

"Espeon!" the pokemon said looking deeply at the forest "Esp, Esp!"

Yana and Salamence lay outside in the sun for so long that they were just about nodding off. It wasn't until a furry sensation brushing around Yana's face startled him awake that he had realised he had been asleep with a full half hour. The furry sensation turned out to be Professor Palm's Umbreon coming outside to say hello. Yana put a finger to his lips, indicating the sleeping dragon. He pulled out Bahamut's Pokeball and returned it without uttering a word. [i]"Keep resting old friend,"[/i]

Walking into the more mechanised part of the laboratory, Yana found Professor Palm giving Victini a thorough health examination. He was more qualified than any Nurse Joy so the little Pokemon was in good hands.

"Don't you think it's time you gave me an explanation Professor?" Yana said slowly and deliberately. There was fire behind his words, but no malice. "That Admin was no everyday Team Zero member. You would not have been able to handle him alone."

Palm looked up, his eyes wary and at the same time, calculating. Yana was one of the strongest trainers that opposed Team Zero. Telling him would be safe. "I guess it is time..." the Professor began.

"Very well, I will tell you. Come with me." Palm looked around warily, and then punched a code into a module on the wall. The wall quietly opened to reveal an elevator, and both Palm and Yana stepped inside. "This elevator leads to the basement, which is inaccessible through other means." The door opened revealing a medium-sized room, filled with old antiques and newspaper articles.
"Team Zero used to be a beneficial organization, years ago. That was when my father was in charge. Team Infinity didn't exist then."
"What happened?" asked Yana.
"My father passed away. He left the organization to his second-in-command, Yoru Gear. He took over the organization, and ruled it with an iron fist. It was then they began doing evil deeds. I was only a novice trainer at the time, taking the Gym Challenge like anyone else my age would. I never heard about the new Team Zero until I returned to Diamond City for the eighth badge. Violet and I were ready. We were heading into the Gym, when a Grunt snuck up on me and tried to kidnap Violet. I would have never seen it again, if it hadn't been for Haruki's father. He battled that Grunt using his one and only Pokemon, Slaking. That one Pokemon defeated all six of the Grunt's Pokemon. He told me the news, and we both rushed back to Amethyst as fast as we could. I met Yoru there. He was darker, more sinister. He was corrupted by power. We challenged him, and barely won. Neither of us have seen him since. I have been keeping track of Team Zero's actions in this part of the region, while Haruki's father left him under the care of his older sister, so he could go to the other parts. I believe he's living in Jade Town now."
