This effect remains until the end of the Battle Phase. If this card would be destroyed by battle, return it to your Deck at the end of the Damage Step and shuffle it. When you Synchro Summon using this card as a Material, you can treat its Level as 1, 2 or 3. [spoiler=6th Squad's Second-in-Command, Renji Abarai][spoiler=Lore:]When a face-up "Byakuya Kuchiki" monster you control is selected as an attack target, you can Special Summon this card from your hand in face-up Attack position and it becomes the new attack target. This card cannot be destroyed by battle during the turn it is Summoned. When this card destroys a monster by battle, it can attack again. This effect can only be used once per Battle Phase. If this is the only monster on your field, your opponent takes double damage from battles involving this card.
