I know, but she is just cool to have in it.Yea, given the right hand burn decks can do a lot of damage.

So, with the GDS2 going on I've been thinkingof what my world would be and I like the idea of a world made of 5 Kingdoms with war between all of them about the start.

I also made a planeswalker because I had nothing to do
Alucard
2BB
Planeswalker – Alucard
2
+2: Target Creature gets +1/+1 and Lifelink until the end of the turn
-X: Draw X cards
-9: You get an emblem with "When ever you gain life your opponent losses that much life”

So what would you guys do if you were making your own world?

Sorry I haven't been active here that often. I haven't been able to think of anything to say. But I thought of an idea. If anyone wants to they can go 1v1 here.

But I mean you'd each post your decks and everyone else votes to see who's they like more or think would win and why.
It's just an idea, but I felt bad never participating.

How about 4? When I was thinking of him I wanted it so that once you get to his ultimate you can use it and not have him die.

For what? I've stopped thinging about the world for the most part. In general it's been good

So in other news I've been testing my Goblins against my Vamps. My Goblins won the bulk of the matches. I was sad that one of the matches could have gone to the Vamps had I remembered the Bloodghast in my grave.

Any way I want to show off some of my IRL decks. And since I was just talking about them here are my Vamp and Goblin decks

Vampire's most powerful aspect is their speed and immense positional capabilities. Tutors actually slow down your game.

With such a fast deck, playing a tutor for picking a single card and add it to your hand or the top of your deck is most of the time worse than simply playing a Bloodghast or a utility creature.

Vamp's can play so aggressively and put your opponent to a pressure point so fast, that you want to make your curve stop at 5 (For Bloodwitch), in which case I would not play a tutor at all.

Sign in Blood is absolutely better, because it gives you greater card advantage and a rather bad win condition in a pinch.

Play the full set of Gatekeepers, Bloodghasts and Highborns, along with 3x Sign in Blood.

I'd try testing the deck with more fetchlands (which plays off Bloodghasts perfectly) and Grim Discovery, which most of the time spells a lot of Viscera Seeing with Bloodghast if you pick up a fetchland and a very good 3-for-1 if you pick up the fetchland and Gatekeeper of Malakir.

I play various decks that do very insane things.

Decks to be:

Prismatic Omen + Last Stand + Wargate + Valakut... etc. (Tested this, and it's very insane)

Treefolk (The tribe that gives me the best time playing. I like to play big powerful things cheap, so things like Leaf-Crowned Elder and Bosk Banneret are nice. Doran, the Siege Tower brings the beats)

Teneb, the Harvester EDH

Perhaps a Mono-Black Wither Control deck

Decks:

Mono-White beat-down with Light from Within (Along with Divinity of Pride, Oversoul of Dusk and the like)

GB Death Cloud (THE most funny deck I know to play with)

Restore Balance (Cascade into said card to destroy all my opponent's monsters (as the only ones I play are Suspended) and destroy all my opponent's lands (as I bounce all of my 14 lands with Borderposts) and perhaps damage their hands)

Mono-Black "All is Power" (Basicly a theme deck based on black's lust for power at any cost)

"5-Colour Bombastic" (Five-colored aggro deck with some of the best multicolored creatures from Shards of Alara, such as Bloodbraid Elf, Wooly Thoctar and Sedraxis Specter. Followed up by Knight of New Alara...)

Mono-Black Control (Tournamental)

Red White Stuffy Deck.

Best possible run:
Turn Three...
Play a mountain totaling with two mountains and one plains
tap both mountains, play pyretic ritual get 3 red mana
use the 3 red mana play seething song, get 5 red mana
use the 5 red mana play stuffy doll
tap a plains play guilty conscience on stuffy doll.

You have one turn now to stop me. (works best if I went first and opponent isn't playing blue)

My way of stopping opponents from stopping me is by having two Privileged Position in play.

Another good one I have is red green, finisher is usually a Hellkite Charger with Bear Umbra and Whispersilk Cloak (Infinite Unblockable Offensive Combo) or a Chameleon Colossus with 2 Bear Umbra and Whispersilk Cloak (just one huge unblockable creature.)

I am currently working on a green white Tolsimir Redeemed Deck (do you know what that is?)

My slivers are completely defensive, are you curious as to how they work?

Well a Tolsimir Redeemed Deck is a combination of Tolsimir Wolfblood from Ravnica, Juniper Order Ranger from Coldsnap, and a lot of green/white stuff from shadowmoor, specifically stuff like Rhys the Redeemed, and such. It's a deck that makes a lot of green/white elf tokens which get really big really fast. And you stick in multiple copies of Wheel of Sun and Moon so that you can just keep going until you feel like ending the game since you should have multiple Elvish Archdruid and Oracle of Nectars to raise your life a lot. And to stop your opponent from affecting your stuff you again use Privileged Position. Simply, get a lot of the G/W Elf Tokens, they get bigger due to Tolsimir Wolfblood, the Archdruids, and Juniper Order Ranger, use the Archdruids combined with Oracle of Nectars to make sure you always have more than enough life, and end the game by overruning your opponent with a lot of large G/W Elf tokens. (I'm gonna throw Overwhelm in for good measure. and Trample)

As for my Slivers, it's completely defensive. The core of it is the combination of Dormant Sliver, Gemhide Sliver, Quick Sliver, and Reflex Sliver. With that I can play massive amounts of slivers quickly. Root Sliver is in there to stop counters. And for if my deck will ever run out I have Pulmonic and sill sacrifice a sliver for Necrotic. I also have a combo using Sliver Queen and Mana Echos. My win cards are Screeching Sliver (milling) And Psionic Sliver (non-combat damage). And to make it so my slivers don't die from using Psionic's ability I have 2 Muscle Slivers and 2 Sinew Slivers, as well as 2 Watcher Slivers. I also have a Sliver Overlord, Sliver Legion, and Quilled Sliver. Also the deck only has 14 land but all of it can produce mana of any color.

The previews are great.

I'm going to the release and prerelease events with my childhood friend from the other side of the country, to celebrate my 18th birthday, (which was this past Sunday) so far I'm loving the faction packs.

Oh, and do remember to download MTG Tactics, which is available as of today, and is free to play and download. (Though with purchasable upgrades. -_-)

That they are.

Nice. ATM I'm going to the prerelease with like 5 other people, twice the number of people that I've gone with the past two times so it should be fun. I really can't wait for it, it just makes me sad face that we only get 3 packs worth of new stuff.

Also, I can't seem to find the download Tactics so any help? Also from the looks of things you still need to pay for extra cards and what not. Not so big on that.

Yea, Green and Black Zeniths are amazing. I like the White one, but it's not THT great. Not so big on Blue and Red (funny cause I'm finding them to be my least two favorite colors) since they're just a Jace's Ingenuity and Fireball.

Over all though I really like the set, just thing they put int a bit to much infect stuff. So thoughts so far with the second week of previews just around the corner?

The blue Zenith is actually very good as a one-off in any given blue control deck, as you cast it early on to draw 1-2-3 cards or so, then it reshuffles back into your deck to give enormously bigger profit way later on.

I do want to play White-Black control now, seing as we have lovely finishers such as Grave and Sun Titan, along with Gideon Jura, and the opportunity 2 amazing board sweepers in Day of Judgment and Black Sun't Zenith. The disruption granted by Inquisition of Kozilek and Duress should help tons. I just need to find a justification to play it over UB control though. One justification is that the deck would butcher almost any aggro deck played in standard.

See my problem with the Blue Zenith is that Distant Memories is just better. You can either search up a bomb drop or draw 3 card. For the other kinds of draws cheap cards are already out with Preordain, Foresee, and Ingenuity. The reusability is cool, but odds of drawing it again isn't that great imo.

It's hard to give up blue since you loss Jace, and a crap ton of counter spells. Maybe after a good portion of those card rotate out it might work but atm Blue-White/Black is better.
