Thanks for all your submissions, they look very promising. And no, it's not a problem to have 2 Kirby's in the contest, as long as they don't have to battle each other... that could end... strange

 

And we have our first completed battle as well. It's number 5, abethedemon vs. Serenity!

 

Who will win this epic battle between the Eternal Street Fighter Champion Ryu and the Vanquisher of all things Dracula, Simon Belmont? I'm goint to tell you... but not now :) Again, you have still time to fix minor issues (minor meaning grammar mistakes or such things), but do not abuse that.

Lore: When a monster Declares Attack on this card place 1 Annoyance Counter on this card. When there are more than 3 Annoyance Counters on this card it cannot Attack in your next Battle Phase. After this Battle Phase remove all Annoyance Counters.

 

 

No one really plays the Sims, I know. But it definetly is a controllable character and when you play her family she's a major too.

After looking the conditions for this battle up, I have to decline Mako's card. I first thought this would be another form of the original Samus. But, in fact, it's a villain. And the task clearly states that the card for this round has to be a hero. You can, of course, still change the card, you still have plenty of time. I'm terribly sorry, I should've seen that earlier.

This is... at the edge of "commonly known video games". Wonderswan never really made it to the western world, and I can't even recall that character from the series... but I guess I'll accept it ;)

I fixed Up sora, Still from kingdom hearts.

lore: WARRIOR/Effect:

I'm sorry for my harsh tone :( Your card is accepted, and I will explain my change of heart: The game you're talking about exists (1 point for you) and it is NOT a blind movie adaptation, but a sequel of said one (another point for you). I'm not happy with it, but hell, I accepted a Sims-character as a hero, so why not :P

Okay here's mine. It's Silver the Hedgehog from the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog. He is also in Sonic Riders Zero Gravity.

 

 

If an opponent's monster attacks, you can remove from play this card to end the Battle Phase. At the End Phase of the turn this card was emoved from play by this cards effect, bring this card back into play. This card gains 500 ATK per monster with "Hedgehog" in its name. When this card is equiped with the Equip Spell card "Ring", sacrifice this monster and Special Summon 1 "Sonic the Hadegehog Super Mode".
