Now for your task. Read it carefully, that's all advice I can give you. If there are any questions regarding the task, feel free to ask, here or via PM.

Your Task for Round 1:

Every game needs a hero. You can't save the world without one after all. So your first task is to take a game of your choice and create a card for one of the main protagonists. Some things that I should mention:

- The Card has to be an Effect Monster Card. No Synchros, Fusions or Rituals! No "Vanillas" (Cards without an effect) or written cards (Cards without a picture).

- Please give me the exact name of the game you're choosing your card from, in case I have to look something up.

- The game and protagonist you're choosing now does NOT need to be your choice for the second round as well, you're free to switch games as much as you like. However, if you want to choose the same, you can, of course, do so.

- It would be nice if the 2 competing with each other would not choose the same game/protagonist. It's not necessary though.

- I repeat: You have 48 hours to turn your card in. If you should fail to do so, your opponent wins by default. If all cards should be in before that time limit, we'll still wait for the 48 hours to elapse. You can still do minor changes to your card within that limit, but please do not abuse this possibility.

- Your card doesn't necessary have to be THE main protagonist of the game. It can also be any major AND controllable character in that game.

I hope I covered everything. As I said, if there are still questions, go ahead. The 48 hours are ticking from the time when this post is posted.

If you post your card and the effect is not clearly readable, please post the effect as well.

Remember: Creativity goes over everything else, be creative and have fun :)

So long,

Spoon

This is my entry:

-It's Kirby from all the various Kirby games on the nintendo platform. The games he will be most notably remembered from are Kirby and the Crystal Shards and the SSB series

LORE: When this card is Normal or Special Summoned to the field, it is treated as a non-effect monster. If this card destroys an effect monster as a result of battle, the effect of this card becomes the effect written on the destroyed card. During the End Phase of a turn this monster destroyed another monster as a result of battle, you can discard 1 card from your hand to the Graveyard to remove this card's effect and return it to a non-effect monster.

heres my card, sorry for copying, but i did this before you even made the groupings!

248927.jpg

lore: Once per turn, you may flip a coin and call it. If you call it right, select one monster on your opponent's side of the field and equip it to this card. When this card is equipped with a monster, it gains half of it's ATK and DEF and one of it's abilities. This card cannot be equiped with a level 8 or higher monster. If this card were to be destroyed, destroy the equipped monster instead.

A card from the Mario Series: Mario the Smasher

[spoiler=Mario the Smasher]

MariotheSmasher.png[spoiler=Lore:]When this card is successfully Advanced Summoned, you can destroy 1 face-down card on the field. If you do, this card cannot attack during this turn's Battle Phase. This card cannot be destroyed in battle with Plant, Reptile, Beast and Dragon-Type monsters. Each time this card battles, place 1 Smash Counter on it at the end of the Damage Step. When this card is selected as an attack target, you can remove all Smash Counters from it to destroy 1 Attack Position monster your opponent controls for every 2 Counters removed.

Thank you and good luck to everyone! ^_^
