hey, i've been trying to tackle this issue for a while now, i was just wondering why don't moderators pm back, sorry i should say "some" moderaters don't pm back. I have been trying to change the name of my rp, i asked a question and it was answered "pm a moderator of the forum", I did and i don't get a reply? So the question is, is there any point in pming a moderator or when will the feature to change your old threads name be added, i'm not trying to be rude or impatient i'm just wondering if the issue of not being able to change the names of certain old threads would be fixed and when abouts?

That's the general idea.

However, PMing a super mod is also acceptable.

Don't expect a response every time, however.

We will read them, and deal with them if we can.

huh? i remmeber a moderator changed one of my thread titles previusly??? i've now been told that they can't so the only solution is to remake the thread? if so ...wow...enough said.

Thread titles cannot be changed by anybody, including moderators, prior to the conversion to IPB.

 

You'd be best off just remaking it, and asking Shadius or Rinne (again) to lock your old thread.

They're busy like said above. Also, they probably have so many unread messages in their Messenger, they don't notice if there's a new one added. But I guess you can't blame them...

Well, I guess the mods are busy.....but about changing the name of your RP. Can't your just do the full edit thing and change the title name?

no that's the original problem, because i had an rp and a fan fic prior to the change and it worked fine, so i asked and everyone says full edit, but where you're supposed to rewrite the name doesn't come up,. it misses that whole section...how busy can the mods be? 2 weeks to change a title? a mod did it to prove a point in about 30 seconds i remmeber

Sometimes PM's aren't worth responding too.

Sometime we just don't need to respond to do something about it.

@ Yin umm i pmed Rinne about 1 - 2 weeks ago, i'm not trying to be a bother but i really hope there's a better solution then making a new thread and resubmitting all the work there from the previous one

but how hard is it to simply right back, "I'll deal with it in due time" or something like that? I mena the only way to chnage the name of the thread is to pm and if u can't do that then is the improved version forcing you to create a entirely new thread? If Moderators are busy then that's fine, but i doubt you'se would want someone to continuously pm you?
