Welcome to the second Luck and Skill Contest. I am your host Striker. Are you good at card making? Are you lucky? If you are, this place is for you. I did this before and it was a hit. If you didn't join during the first one, please read the following.

 

The Set Up:

This is a 1 round contest where you make a card that requires luck. This contest follows the saying "1st is the worst, 2nd is the best, 3rd is the one with the treasure chest". The prizes will follow that saying. The luck comes in if you manage to grab second place. Pride in getting first has a price, a small prize. So what do you say? Are you in or are you out?

 

Entry Fee:

Level 1: Free

Level 2: 10 points

Level 3: 20 points

Level 4: 30 points

Level 5: 40 points

Level 6: 50 points

If you don't have enough, you'll be in for free. If you lie about this, you will be reported.

 

What I'm looking for in your card?

Make a Synchro monster that requires luck in its summoning conditions. Easy, I don't think so.

This card cannot attack your opponent directly. When this card is Summoned, toss a coin and call it. If you call it right, increase the ATK of this card by 400 until the End Phase. if you call it wrong, destroy this card and inflict 200 Damage to your Life Points. If this card is destroyed by its effect, you can Special Summon it during your next End Phase.

Okay, here's my card... I hope it turned out okay. To be honest, it was quite a challenge and took me one and a half hour to get just right.

Lore:

1 "Fortune Fairy" Tuner + 1 or more "Fortune Fairy" non-Tuner monsters

Once per turn, if you control at least 2 "Fortune Fairy" monsters on the field and if this card is in your Extra Deck, roll a 6-sided die: Increase the Level of 1 "Fortune Fairy" monster you control by the rolled number. It is treated as a Tuner monster until your End Phase and can only be used to Synchro Summon a "Fortune Fairy" Synchro Monster. When this card is succesfully Synchro Summoned, you can Special Summon up to 4 "Fortune Fairy" monsters from your hand or Deck. This cards gains 800 ATK and DEF for each "Fortune Fairy" you control. Other "Fortune Fairy" monsters you control cannot be selected as an attack target. Once per turn, if you draw a "Fortune Fairy", you can roll a 6-sided die: Inflict damage to your opponent equal to the Level of the drawn monster x100 multiplied with the rolled number. After the effect is resolved, return that card to your Deck and shuffle it, then draw 1 card.

 

Additional information:

Your fortune the day you draw this card is shining like a supernova.

Lucky number, 11.

Lucky color, white.

Lucky item, cat ears... probably. I guess you can wear anything.

Go courageously forward, without hesitation. Today, you cannot lose.

 

Btw.: "Su" comes from the word "suterun", which is Kana (Japanese) for "Star".

I am here to challenge the defending champion's title. Here is my card:

When this card is Synchro Summoned, roll a six sided dice. This card gains ATK equal to the number rolled x200. If the result is 1 or 6, send this card to the Graveyard and Special Summon it to your opponent's side of the field during your opponent's next Standby Phase. During your Standby Phase, take control of this card and decrease it's ATK by 300. During your opponent's Standby Phase, give control of this card to your opponent and decrease it's ATK by 300. When this card's ATK becomes 0, return it to your Extra Deck.

Okay this took a dozen edits to finalise this card, hopefully it fits the bill of high risk high reward. Hope you like.

Lore: 2 'Roulette Dragon' Tuners + 2 or more non-Tuner Monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, flip a coin. If the result is Heads, summon this card as a Normal Monster in Attack Position with 0 ATK. During each of your End Phases, you can flip a coin. If the result is Heads, Special Summon this monster with an additional 1500 ATK and the corresponding effect. 1 - The effects of an Effect Monster destroyed by this card are negated. 2 - If the ATK of this attacking card is higher than the DEF of a Defence Position card, inflict the difference as Direct Damage. 3 - During each of your End Phases, you can search your Deck for 1 DRAGON type monster and add it to your hand. If the result of a coin flip is Tails, destroy this card, and recieve damage equal to 1000 x coin flips.

 

Ps. Roulette Dragon is a 2 star... in my mind. Will post the tuner if wanted.

Alright, here's my card.

Lore: 1 DARK Tuner + 1 or more non-Tuner DARK monsters

When this card is Synchro Summoned, guess if the top card of your opponents Deck is a Monster Card, Spell Card, or Trap Card and reveal it. If you guessed right, send the revealed card to the bottom of your opponent's Deck. If you guessed wrong, return this card to the Extra Deck. Once per turn, you can remove from play 1 monster from your opponent's Graveyard to add 1 monster from your Graveyard to your hand. You cannot Special Summon or Set the turn you activate this effect.
