So the list of The King of the ring competitors has been anounced. Representing Raw's is John Morrison, Daniel Bryan, Ezekiel Jackson and Sheamus, while Smackdown will be represented by Kofi Kingston, "Dashing" Cody Rhodes, Alberto Del Rio, and Drew McIntyre. Who do you think will win. I think it is going to be either John Morrison or Daniel Bryan.

Another pretty damn good RAW, although we didn't have the Jackson v Sheamus match I was looking forward to.

TLC match between Miz and Lawler was a lot better than I thought it would be, presumably they need to write Lawler out for a bit but he was alright.

The Cena thing feels such a cop-out after all the farewell's and stuff though. Kind of annoyed with that.

What is with all the diva's recently though? Branded as 'smart, sexy and powerful' women now just throwing themselves at everyone in sight (especially the Bella's).

Orton please before you go for Miz and Riley, do everyone a favour and punt Michael Cole in the skull.

Updated the front post. I haven't seen TNA in a few weeks. Anyone mind giving me a title update?

Also, anyone hear that MVP was released? Really sucks. I liked him alot.

TNA has become WCW V2. It's gonna fail just like WCW did. The reason I havent seen it in a few weeks is because I can barely stand watching it anymore.

TNA is WWE rejects (plus AJ Styles/Samoa Joe)

Anyway Miz champ after capitalizing on Orton being beaten up by seven guys, and nearly lost it a week later to Jerry Lawler if it hadn't been for Cole's intervention (cannot wait for that explaination).

TLC as it stands:

Miz v Orton - WWE Title - Tables Match
Kane v Edge - World Title - TLC Match
Ziggler v Kofi - IC Title
Mysterio v del Rio

Will update with matches and TLC stipulations as I find out.

what happened to WCW???
You must be a new wrestling fan, huh?

Long story short, in the mid 1990's, World Championship Wrestling made it's TV Debut and ignited what would be known as the "Monday Night Wars" with WCW Nitro against Monday Night RAW, one of the most famous TV rivalries in history. It did pretty well for a time, even surpassing what was known then as the WWF (World Wrestling Federation, now World Wrestling Entertainment) in ratings. But eventually it went completely downhill with bad budget management, poor writers, and several talents leaving. In 2001, WCW went bankrupt and was bought by the WWF. WWF then used all of the newly aquired talent in it's insanely popular "Invasion" Storyline, where WCW tried to take over WWF.

Go forward 9 years to 2010. In January, Hulk Hogan partnered with Dixie Carter to recreate TNA in a "Better" image. To do so, Hulk recruited the man responsible for some of WCW's greatest moments, Eric Bischoff. Ever since then, TNA has taken several downturns. Now, they're even recycling WCW storylines. Point is, the Hogan/Bischoff TNA is nothing more than a recycled WCW with former WWE/WCW talent involved (like Sting, Kevin Nash, Kurt Angle, etc.)

TNA was unique before. I loved the Pre-Hogan TNA. I'll give TNA one more year at most.

Wow Friday Night Smackdown was epic and funny.

Edge is brilliant. So brilliant.
He got Kane to do his dirty work, and the look on Kane's face was priceless.

I hate Michael Cole, and was so happy that Randy RKO'd him. I was like HELL YEAH!!!!!!!! :D

LOL TNA. TROLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Sucks ass. I hope it falls soon.

MVP was released. WTF? :(

Love how this thread gets abandoned, then come back to.

Three hour slammeys awards tonight. Almost certainly not going unless there is a rapid improvement in my health and I get some additional sleep in the day. Orton will certainly get to the final match and should win, BUT I predict he gets screwed in the final by Miz interference, so that would leave a heel... like... I dunno really. Was pretty epic to see Orton get THREE new moves last week (Angle Slam, Inverted Atomic, Jacknife Powerbomb).

Why the hell has Tyson Kidd been partnered with this (currently unnamed) monster man??? A - Kidd has the ability on his own. B - The RAW roster is huge as it is and enough guys don't get a look in. Although there aren't many physically 'big' heels at the minute, unless this guy is going to do something amazing then why?

NXT Season 4 underway, not really paid attention to it before but will this time. Think Brodus Clay is one to watch, mainly because Curtis, Saxton, and Bateman were all made to look like complete tools in the first show.

John Cena is back :(

And it's not so shocking that he got beat, yet again, by Nexus.

Also David Otunga(I hope I spelled this right) will be the next to get kicked out of Nexus I think.

Randy Orton, Love this guy seriously, (WOOT!) power bombs yet another person through a table. He definitely has momentum. But watch him- No He will win TLC!!!!

Um. Lets see. I, like Jerry Lawler, HATE Michael Cole. This dude, I swear, if he turns out to be the GM of Raw, I will quit watching Raw I swear. =/

I can understand that. I hope CM Punk replaces Michael Cole.

There is one thing that I am currious about. CM Punk said that he never forgets grudges and that someone in the back has done him wrong. Who do you think it is? The only one I can think right off the bat would be nexis. They attacked him and John Ceana during the veiwer choice. I wonder if that will factor into TLC?

TBH, the slammy awards sucked this year. NOTHING compared to last year.

The only things I liked about it:
- Randy Orton jacknifed David Arquette through a table.
- Edge and Christian together again...if even for a few minutes.
- Seeing Beth Phoenix in the ring again.

Sure, Cena is back. That's cool and all....but everyone with common sense knew that they would bring Cena back VERY soon. The backlash from "Cena's firing" was so immense that WWE just gave up the angle.

I missed my wrestling night with illness, read WWE.com's write up yesterday. Hence I'm not totally sure what you're talking about with Punk, etc. I like Punk on commentary at the minute ('Climb the ladder Miz, are you stupid?')

The whole awards seemed rubbish, Cena Superstar of the Year again, and all the other awards were endorsed and advertising s*** which was stupid. Kinda glad I missed really as it didn't sound all that.

Anyway TLC, the card for which I find one of the worst cards this year in terms of predictability and action. Why have two of each match type, for example everything that can happen in a Chairs match will happen in the first one, so the second one will suck.

My main problem is John Morrison v Sheamus (Ladders Match for No1 Contendership) This match is an awful addition to the lineup, as it's a garunteed Morrison win, and thus garuntees Miz victory to set up RR match between the former Tag Champions (had predicted this anyway but still, this match should be on Raw after Miz wins). So that's 1/4 of the PPV already redudant viewing. Besides, what are they supposed to grab at the top of the ladder?

Full card:
Morrison v Sheamus (Ladders), del Rio v Mysterio (Chairs), Natalya & Beth Phoenix v Lay-Cool (Tables), Ziggler v Kofi v Swagger (Ladders), Orton v Miz (Tables), Cena v Barrett (Chairs), Edge v Kane (TLC)

Duh they're supposed to grab a contract or briefcase containing a contract at the top.

The whole "And I quote" award is total bogus it shouldn't have been on the main line up of awards. In my opinion CM Punk should have won the award when he did it. It got a nice reaction from the crowd and made me laugh.

I'm looking forward to the Ziggler/Kofi/Swagger match. Shouldn't Danielson be on the card also? He's the United States Champion he should have a match.
I'm also interested in the Sheamus/JoMo match but yeah as Matt said it's quite predictable that JoMo will win and that WWE is trying to set up another JoMo/Miz feud. The only thing stopping this is that if Orton wins against Miz or Sheamus beats JoMo.
