AMV's

I'm not sure whether this goes in Music section or not but if it does please move it there. Can someone teach me how to make AMV's? I have no idea how to lose Movie Maker or Vegas.

I actually think this should be in Questions & Help seeing as you're asking how to do it.

 

With movie maker you just get the clips you want to, Select Mute on the video. Then add in Music you want.

I made some terrible ones before. You just slap some MP3 on top of some clips from a downloaded version of the anime.

 

Don't have Vegas anymore though, so I couldn't help much more >_<

 

But yeah, AMVs are pretty cool. Introduced me to Haibane.

Well I used to make AMVs on Windows Movie Maker, I might still have a guide to it somewhere (although its the XP version). Want me to look?

 

Never got around to using Vegas.

Just take a fitting MP3, put in WMM (I've never used Vegas), take some clips from your anime of choice, then split them and put them in the timeline to fit the rhythm of the song. That's basically what good AMV's try to achieve.

Oh, and the Mute thing King mentioned is important too.

 

I've made about four using WMM, all for Digimon. Making them is fun, but I never have the time to make them anymore.

I made about 50 full and short ones, but YT has been taking them down lately, so I've almost given up.

Fight it with fair use. That always works. A decent amount of copyright claims aren't even real ones
