i'm gonna try to do that to.

I would only advise it if you have GIMP/PS and a place to get/make renders. Oh yeah, and a few brushes + good knowledge.

And for the people that asked how I do it, that pretty much answers it. =/

Anyway, thanks!

Oh and when you put them on a card, they'll automatically become the right size, so there's no need to worry about dimensions... ^_^

When people say " custom images " what do they mean? They find a pic' date=' resize it, and thats it?

[/quote']

No, find a pic, render it, crop it, blur/sharpen it, add an aura thing and place it on a 100% scratch background. Oh yeah, and sometimes recolor it. =/

And as for Paint.NET, it may work. GIMP is better, and so is Photoshop. Though Photoshop isn't free... :(

EDIT: Another pic will be up soon.

1) You leave some pixels out.

2) Some edges are pixelly

3) you need to resize them

i will give the ratings below:

1st: not good. 5/10. the background doesn't much and i know that effect you added to the bee. it doesn't fit anywhere

2nd:it's OK. the background fits but there are lots of white pixels outside the robot. 7/10

3rd: good. the lens flare though makes the whole thing look ugly 7/10

4th: not good. it is blurry. the rendered pic is soooooooooo overused. the lens flare again makes it look ugly. 5/10

5th: the only actual good image. 8.5/10

For some reason I absolutely hate the first one. I'm not sure why, but it's just plain butt ugly.

The second picture is my favorite. I really like the base picture used, and the background does fit very well. It does blend in a little, so it would be better if you darkened the background a bit.

The third picture is also great. When you really look at it, it's probably the coolest, but it just didn't catch my eye the pay #2 did. Oh, and yes, it would be much better without the lens flare.

Something just seemed wrong with #4. Maybe it was a bit to blurry or something, but I don't really care for it. It's not bad, it's just not great.

Now, #5, It does sort of look cool, but it's way to gundam-like to be acceptable for YuGiOh, Perhaps if you modified it to look less like a machine, and more like an alien wearing battle-armor or something? It's a cool pose, and a cool picture, but it just doesn't fit YuGiOh.
