Laughing, Gabe should have known that Hammish would start in the middle, and surely beat him, but he loved it when the younger boy won. Seeing his whole face light up, his smile taking over his face. It was priceless. But of course he wasnt just going to let him win, he was going to make Hammish work for it. PLacing his cross in the square right to Hammish's knott. Biting his lip, his hair turned its shade of gold as he smiled happilly just enojying spending the time with Hammish. Hearing a sqeak, Gabe turned as Cat ran down from his shoulder and squeazed under the door. 'cat?' Gabe called. 'Oh well,' He groaned, he was used to Cat running off at odd times, but the rat always came back when he was hungry and considering the train was still moving cat couldnt get far.

Selene nodded, agreeing with Tenacity. "Yeah."

She could actually see the line of carriages ahead faintly; it almost seemed like they were blended in with the mountains that were far ahead of them.

"We're getting close to Hogwarts..." she thought about what Tenacity had said. "I can always just change her around and back, you know, so that when Im with her I can feed her and stuff, and she can play with Joslyn...and then when I need to leave I"ll just turn her back into a locket. I think it's a better solution than having her thrown out of the window."

She held out her wand, unsure of whether to do it now. "Should I?"

"I'd say so. Until you can find a better solution, this seems pretty practical to me." Tenacity said as his mind wondered away from the cats slightly. "I wonder if I should transfigure Joslyn, she's not entirely safe either, If one cat's at risk, then they all are. He reluctantly produced his wand and with a light tap on Joslyn's head and some under his breath, she became a cat-skull ring with life-like eyes. He sighed. He didn't want it to be like this. His mind still wasn't fully on the cats, it was instead on the facinatingly colored hair and eyes of Selene. Even in negative emotions like this, she was drop-dead gorgeous.

"sorry, Ginger," said Selene, tapping the cat on the head and muttering under her breath, and the cat turned into a necklace with an orange cat head that looked exactly like Ginger.

"There, now I won't forget what it is..." mumbled Selene, already feelig sorry for the cat as she tied it around her neck with her wand.

"Honestly..." it was quite chilly out and Selene grabbed her cloak as the hogwarts express came to a slower speed, then completely stopped. "...you'd expect it to be winter already."

She left her trunk on the train; others would grab it for her. She took her wand and put it in her pocket, and stood up.

"let's go then?" she asked, smarting for a chance of revenge.

"Lets. And do you wanna share the carriage with me?" He asked, partially because he was falling fast for the girl, and partially because he wondered if she could see the Thestrals. He felt the urge to take her hand as he left the carriage. But he didn't want to freak her out, so instead he filled his hand with his wand, hoping to see Aidan, who was in for quite a nasty shock.

"Sure." Selene nodded, smiling, returning to her normal bubbly self. She stepped forward to the nearest thestral and stroked it, earning a number of strange looks from younger people because she was petting thin air to some.

"Oh, I rather like Thestrals, even though they have a slightly haunted look," she remarked to Tenacity as she sat down in a carriage and stroked her new necklace out of habit, almost as if her subconscious recognized the necklace's feel of a cat.

"So...what's your favorite class?" she asked idly as she twirled her wand between her fingers.

"Oh, You do see them! I'm quite fond of them myself. My wand's core is Thestral hair. It's got an interesting sort of...Feel to it. I don't know much about other people's wands obviously, but the wand maker told me that. And as for my favorite class. It's gotta be Care Of Magical Creatures." He said pulling himself into the carriage after taking a moment to stroke one of the thestrals pulling it. "What about you?" He said with a wide grin on his face rubbing the ear of his new ring, had he not known be he could have sworn he heard it pur.

"Ooh, I like that class, but I do prefer DADA..." she said, still twirling her wand. "Yeah. thestrals are really beautiful, and I love flying on them. My mum likes them to, I can see them beacuse I watched my grandpa have a heart attack...on my muggle side, of course. But still, my mum really likes them..." she trailed off when she realized that she was babbling.

"Well anyways...I still like COMC anyways." she finished, her hair turning light pink.

She changed it back immediately. It was a habit for her.

"Awwwh, don't worry about it." He said recognising the pink hair shade from seeing Gabe embaraced once after an 'inccident' with Hamish. "I saw my mother die... Well... Kinda, She died giving birth to me." He started to feel as though a change of subject was in order. "I like Defence Against The Dark Arts myself, it's a close second for me, easily." He said smiling at Selene. "Y'know, you look really pretty with pink hair, you do!" He said aloud then imidiately felt stupid. His hair, if he were as interesting as Selene, would by now be vivid pink.

Selene smiled, wondering what he meant by that, btu said, "Thanks!" anyways. "Yeah, COMC comes in second too...though I guess I like Transfiguration too. The knowledge of turning one's enemies into ferrets cmes in handy, you know?" she said with a small, amused smile, though she thought of Aiden.

"Why do you think that boy hated cats so much? Or does he throw every single animal he meets out hte wondow?" she mused, leaning back against the chair. The carriage finally set off.

"I'm not so sure. I have a feeling it's probably just cats. People have wierd issues. Maybe he had some traumatic event happen involving a cat?" He asked, puzzlingly. He knew that people could develop wierd aversions to animals through traumatic events. For years, Tenacity himself avoided any dog taller than his knee, after being attacked when he was younger. "Still, no matter why he did it, it was horrible and wrong. I think he must have some kind of mental issue. There's no way a sain person would do that to an innocent cat." He looked down at his ring and shook his head resentfully. He hated this and he had a feeling Joslyn did too.

"So...hm...as revenge ideas, do you like pranks?" she said, suddenly more cheerful than ever. Her hair turned blonde.

This time, Selene didn't notice.

"I have a huge stock of prank stuff hidden somewhere in the Gryffindor Common room, and I told the house elves not to touch it if they found it...so, it's most probably still there. What do you say?" she asked.

She sighed, looking out the window at the chilly dark night.

OOC: Its been a few days and Final hasn't posted in awhile, so I'm going to continue as if my spell had hit. I've given Final the chance to evade but he hasn't posted in awhile. I'm also fully aware that this could be a little GMing but I'm stuck right now and have no other options.

As soon as the wolf dropped off of Aiden, stricken by his body-bind curse, he sat up and quickly put his hands up and said, "Before you deduct points for that, I'm not even in a house yet. I'm new to Hogwarts. I was going to be in my third year in Europe and Hogwarts accepted me after I moved here when my parents died. Don't take points off for this also" Aiden pointed at the strange wolf that'd pounced on him, "He attacked me first." Aiden stood up and cast, "Finite!" ending the curse.

McGonagall stared and said, "Fine, then whatever house you're sorted into will pay the price for your actions."

Aiden dusted himself off before responding, "Fine, I was told in my letter that I'd be told what house I'll be in or that I'd be sorted with the first years and be given 3rd year classes." Aiden stormed off from the booth to find one more secluded. While passing up the lane, Aiden took one moment to stare into the booth that contained the 4 people that had proven adamantly today that they'd be a thorn in his side. Aiden stared at them with his best cocky smile and drew a tongue sticking out on the glass and stomped away and found an empty booth at the front of the train.

"I've never pulled too many pranks, but it's a tonne of fun." He said optimistically. "I want in if you're gonna pull anyhing. Plus. I'm thinking. What if one of us is Quidditch Captain this year, I mean we're both 5th year, we're both on the team, or we were last year, there's a chance isn't there?" He asked optimistically, thinking back to his bludger idea, hoping that she'd take an interest in that plot. "Ofcourse..." he thought for a moment. "We could always slip him a love potion, and make him fall in love with a cat. That'd be interesting karma." He said with an eager smile.

Selene nodded diplocmatically, then scowled as she saw the tongue on her carriage door. Why didn't she notice that before?

"I don't think love potions work on animals, though that is an excellent idea..." her hair hd turned a fiery shade of scarlet as she saw the tongue, but then she turned back and her hair calmed down.

"So...hm...well you'd certainly make a nice captain...I saw you last year, you played well..." she commented, beginning to notice that her hair hd been blonde for the past few minutes.

"Well, The headmistress is a cat Animagus" He suggested, laughing at the idea of Aiden falling in love with the former transfigurations professor. "And thanks, but honestly, when was the last time a beater was named captain?" He said seriously wondering, although he was slightly distracted by the mystifying beauty of the girl's hair, and the tongue on the carriage. He hoped that this new boy would make the team on Slytherine house, as Tenacity assumed justifiedly. He wanted the satisfaction of using a bludger to pummel the cat-murderer.

"Yeah...I suppose...though you'd still make a nice captain," insisted Selene. "Maybe I'll be captain...I'm a chaser...well...there's probably people better out me after all...oh, now that's annoying me." she finished a little heatedly, and waved her wand with a quick vanishing spell (which worked with written material) and the tongue disappeared.

The carriage clattered on down the slightly bumpy road to Hogwarts. She could see the first years on the lake now, and wondered whether they'd have any encounters with the giant squid.

((did Hagrid die in the seventh book? *feels ashamed for forgetting* or is it unsaid?

OoC: It's unsaid, I assume he lived, he was an important-ish character so if he died Harry would have been crying and moaning and throwing curses at everyone that moved.

IC: "Last year, not counting Hammish, because let's face it, it's not fair to count him since he scores 150 points in every game we win, being seeker, you scored almost every point we had. You're a great player and I seriously think you'd make a great captain. You've got my vote." He said sincearly. as he continued to admire the girl. She was funny, nice, beautiful, exotic, modest and most of all she was overwhelmingly interesting. Tenacity couldn't help but wonder if the girl was interested in him, although he'd already answered that question in his mind with a resounding "No!"

When Aiden finally found a lone booth at the front of the train, he sat down and looked out the window and looked like the train was within a few miles of a station in the distance. Aiden couldn't see much more than the station since it was pitch-black. As he looked out the window, he began to think about his own method of revenge against the 4 that had humiliated him a few minutes ago. "What would they do against me? They certainly have the motivation to but what could they possibly think of that could cause me trouble? Curse me? No that would get them expelled or worse I think." As Aiden was thinking, it suddenly hit him what they might do, "They might try to steal my DM book! If they learn how much this book means to me they might try to steal it! After that they'll get me expelled! No, carrying this book will probably get me sent to their Azkaban!" Aiden quickly took out his Chimera Scale wand and the book. After several minutes of thinking, a spell that Aiden had learned in his 2nd year that would do the trick. He said in a small voice, "Snufflifors." The wand omitted red sparks but the book still stayed the same. Aiden looked at the wand, puzzled. "A Chimera scale wand fails! I read that these wands were prized!" Aiden sighed, "I guess power comes with a price, but I wonder why it worked on the wolf and not for a simple transfiguration spell. One more shot"

"Snufflifors!" Aiden spoke in a tone and with more feeling of trying to control the spell. This time the book transformed into a tiny black bouse and Aiden smiled. "Great, now I can read my book whenever I need it" Aiden stowed the mouse in his pocket and looked once again out the window.

Charlotte was chasing after a Chocolate Frog in her cabin while she trod over a Slytherin on the ground. She had easily bound him with a Tongue-Tying Curse and a Full-Body Bind Hex and disarmed him as she squeezed the small white piece of chocolate. She slipped him back into a small box as she transfigured her outer layer of clothing into a black Ravenclaw robe. Smiling at the boy on the ground, she kicked his now jelly legs.

The Slytherin compartment was crammed with rowdy students. Drake, however, was sipping on a flask of Butterbeer. Repeatedly filling his drink he had been drinking for nearly the whole ride. He was giddy with sugar as he changed into his Hogwarts uniform. He turned an old snitch in his hands as he vanished it yet again.

[Have the Quidditch teams been sorted yet?]

Smiling as Hammish placed his last knot, and bet him, Gabe momentarily lost his balance falling off the edge of his seat, as the train came to a hault. 'I think we're here.' He giggled from his spot on the floor. He stood up and reached up to strech out his back. Pulling down his robes, he picked up his case of butter beer and walked to open the carriage door, just as Cat ran back into the carriage. 'Hey cat' Gabe smiled as the rat climbed up his trousers and into the pocket of his robes. 'Wanna go get a carriage?' Gabe asked as he held the door open for Hammish. Allowing the thin boy to slip out, before he followed him out and off the train, still carring his butter beer. Walking past the same group of slytherins that harrased the boys on the train, Gabe reached down and took Hammish's hand, pulling him behind as he walked through the middle of the boys, who jumped aside as soon as they reckonised the pair. Smiling, Gabe slowed down as they approached the carriges, feeling a small shiver down his spine as Gabe saw the thestrals waiting patenly around each of the carriages. 'Come on, lets go home' Gabe smiled letting go of Hammish's hand as he held the door open. Sitting down beside Hammish, he placed his case of butter beer on the floor and shut the door, before pulling Hammish into a hug, as his hair turned a shade of Aqua.

Hammish smiled. He knew the aqua shade in Gabe's hair reasonably well. He'd guessed that it meant that he was happy, or excited, something similar. It often took on that shade when they saw eachother for the first time in a while or when Gabe was preparing for something significant. like last year on thier first Hogsmead trip. Hammish giggled slightly as he looked the boy up and down, noticing the changes in the boy's body. He leaned in and for the first time in his life, he initiated a kiss, pressing his lips softly to lips of the other boy, the kiss broke a few seconds later, and Hammish licked his lips.

((well I thought that bright yellow would be happy, and aquamarine would just be mellow...maybe it's the other way around then?))

"Thanks." Selene grinned at him. "I hope I get it...Slytherin's gonna die this year." she added wickedly. "What house was that guy in again?" she gestured to the window as indication that she was talking about the guy that threw her cat out of the window. She kept having thoughts about how lucky she was she came out at the time so she could use a summoning charm; if she'd stayed inside then he would've tossed it.

Her hair turned orange as her thoughts turned to revenge.

Waking in her secluded carriage and looking around, Elena found that she had been left behind. Not by friends, while she usually spoke a lot she never really had real friends, but by the carriages, at least some of them anyway. "Fracking carriages!" Elena yelled, and without bothering to change into her school robes, she ran through the train, leapt from the train carriage and proceeded to sprint on after the self-moving carriages. Huffing, wheezing and eventually clutching a painful stitch in her chest, Elena gave up the chase. She'd likely be on time, even if she didn't run.

Deciding that if she was going to get to the castle in her own time she'd rather do it on her own terms, Elena drew her wand and pointed it towards the ground in front of her. Starting a slow jog, she said "Glacius" and the very ground before her froze. Slowing down as she stepped on the frozen walkway that continued to generate while she aimed her wand forwards, Elena started to slide gracefully across the shimmering surface, as though she was skating. Eventually coming up to the leading carriage which bore only two passengers, a pretty girl with orange hair and both a mischievous yet concentrating face and a handsome-looking boy with long-ish brown hair. Shivering from the cold that was not only coming from the weather but also from the ground Elena was sliding along, she moved over to the door of the carriage and knocked on it lightly, hoping to catch the pairs attention.

((I think a lot of it's on a person-to-person basis, I for instance love the color red, I doubt it'd be my angry color))

"His robes were pure black..." The gears of his mind started to grind "But he's way to tall to be a first year..." Tenacity found this odd. Very odd. Sure a student could transfer, but normally they'd probably turn up to thier first time here sorted already. Or atleast that's what Tenacity figured. "Ofcourse, how many cat murderers would you place outside of Slytherin?" He asked, not even rhetorically, but simply trying to provide the proper answer to Selene's question, She wondered what the orange in her hair meant, but thought it might be rude to ask.
