New chapter's good though the chapters seem to be getting shorter. This is actually relevant to a thought I had had earlier this week. There can't have been only one place in England called The Burrow.

But the Floo Network isn't exactly accurate. After all, how does diagonaly equal Borgin and Burkes?

 

Speaking of the Floo Network, how was Grimmauld Place connected? It was hidden by the Fidelius Charm but if it was connected beforehand couldn't the Death Eaters have just jumped in?

You could access Grimauld Place by knowing it's there. Otherwise it can't be located.

Besides, it SHOULD be linked to the floo network. a bunch of werewolves have to access it...

But that would make it technically illegal. If a house is connected to the Floo Network without the Ministry's knowledge, it's technically illegal. And as I said, if it was connected beforehand someone that monitors the network should have noticed it popping away.

No, technically, it's legal. It's called a Fiddelus Charm. The secret keeper was Dumbledore. And don't forget that no-one knows how many ways Sirius's Dad enchanted the place.

either that, or not connected at all to the floo network. They went to the Burrow, not Grimmauld Place.

The Grimmauld place is connected. Sirius uses it in book 5 to talk to Harry about Umbridge and Hagrid.

Well maybe no one can see it since its protected by the Fidelius charm? It's pretty powerful so it may shield it from other users of the Floo network until the charm is broken.

My point was that the network is monitored. If 12 Grimmauld Place dropped off someone would notice. If it was added while the Fidelius charm was active, Dumbledore would've had to personally get the house added which is equally suspicious.

 

And with the Fidelius charm... Anyone know if people who already knew the place that the charm hides can still find it? It seems really odd.

It's not actually stated that she was looking for Sirius. She may have merely noticed the disturbance in the Gryffindor common room for whoever was in that fireplace.

Didn't read past the title, which screams bitter Lupin fan (I'll MyST it later, probably), but I ought to warn you: I can't read the thread title. It seems to be doing that stupid thing where it uses the Greek alphabet to write English, which is stupid (redundant as well). Except this one is even more stupid because I can't read it.
