SPOILER WARNING! IF YOU HAVE NOT READ HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS, PROCEED NO FURTHER. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.

[spoiler=Prologue]

“Sir!” a shabby looking man, was running towards another, taller man, whose poise and demeanor practically screamed the words “elegant” and “leader”. The shabby one was running down a long, dark passageway. It was obviously underground. It was quite dark, except for a small fire burning in a hearth, also in the room. The shabby one’s gait was almost wolflike, and he panted to a stop in front of the other man.

“Speak, Gondt,” the elegant man had a slightly German accent.

“The half-breed was born today!” the shabby one who was Gondt said.

“That is both good news and bad news,” the elegant one said. “He will be hunted by a less...merciful pack, lead by the Azkaban escapee Fenrir Greyback. Though Greyback is a fearless, fierce warrior, and he is respected throughout all of the wolfpacks, we disagree on this; he believes the half breed will be trouble.”

“And?” Gondt said eagerly. “What will he do?”

“You expect me to know this?” the man’s tone was stern and slightly reproachful. “I am no more part of his pack than you are! All I know is that they mean to dispose of the boy. This position is very popular, and Greyback’s pack will never give up. They have numbers beyond our recognition, but we must get to the half breed before they do!”

“And what will we do with him instead of killing him?”

“Well I can only imagine one use for the half breed,” the pale glow of the flames in the heart flickered along the alpha werewolf’s face, displaying the shadow of a rare and amused half-smile.

“Sir?” Gondt said curiously.

“We’ll train him as our own, but you will need to have people stationed to see what the limit of what the half breed can do.”

“Right away, sir!” Gondt said, anxious to please.

“Do not disappoint me, Gondt. I can be kind to all of the pack, as you know, but I find disappointment...disappointing.” the werewolf’s tone had taken on a new tone of silkiness.

“Of course, sir.”

“Gondt, you have been a faithful Beta. Stay that way.”

“Yessir!”

“You are dismissed.”

[spoiler=Chapter 1]

A pale, slightly gaunt-faced boy, with blonde hair and blue eyes, gazed at his godfather, the only family he had left. “I can?” he said hoarsely. His godfather, Harry Potter, was beaming at him.

“Of course! I mean, Bill and Fleur are talking about taking Victoire to go to Beauxbatons, so why not move in with us?”

“I-I mean...” Teddy Remus Lupin was elated. He would be spending time with his godfather, and his godfather’s own children! James, Albus Severus, and Lily Potter! Even though they were hardly toddlers, this was more than he could have hoped for! “I mean... thanks! A lot!”

Harry grinned. “Yeah, so I’ll come back at one to pick up your stuff? I hope you don’t mind apparating; our house is a little far from Shell Cottage to drive muggle-style.”

“Okay!” Teddy grinned back. “See you later then!”

Harry’s face disappeared from the fireplace.

“I really wish I wasn’t going to that horrible school...” Victoire, Fleur Delacour and Bill Weasely’s daughter muttered, with a shake of her head.

Teddy’s parents, Remus Lupin and Nymphadora, or as she liked to be called (as Harry had told him) Tonks, had died just after he was born in a valiant fight against some dark wizard named Voldemort. Afterwards, since Harry Potter, his godfather, and his wife, Ginny Weasely, already had three kids to take care of including the frequent visits of Harry’s best friend Ron Weasely and his wife Hermione Granger and their two kids, Bill and Fleur had offered to take him in seeing as they only had one child. Victoire, their child, had grown up with him, but had seemed distant, almost as if Fleur liked him more than her. After almost ten years of living with them, Fleur had grown to him, but showed clear signs of liking Victoire more than him. Bill usually went with Fleur’s opinion on things, but showed more kindness towards him. Victoire saw Teddy rarely, even though they lived in the same house, on her mother’s demand.

“I wish I was going to Hogwarts with you... I know that it would be more splendid!” Victoire’s eyes were filled with longing. “But my mother...the way she talks about Beauxbatons...it sort of makes me want to go there...you understand, Teddy, right?”

Teddy’s head had been swimming in thoughts and he had only just resurfaced. He had just turned eleven earlier that year, in June, and had gotten his acceptance letter to Hogwarts. Bill and Fleur were talking about moving to France so Victoire could go to Beauxbatons. So, upon the announcement of this, Harry immediately seized the opportunity to offer Teddy a place to stay until he went off to Hogwarts. It was August 15th, so they would have two weeks together. He HAD been coming over every third night for dinner, thought Teddy wryly, but now he could live there! He realized with a start that Victoire was talking to him. “Oh...yeah, of course I understand. Beauxbaton sounds like a pretty cool school too...” he nodded. “I gotta go pack now,” he said, edging towards the other side of the house where his bedroom was.

“Oh, of course! It was good talking to you, Teddy.”

Teddy sighed, though his mind was still euphoric from the revalation that he would be living in his godfather’s house, and maybe see a bit of his adopted aunt and uncle, Hermione and Ron.

He already had most of his school supplies; Harry had taken him shopping as well during one of his off times as an Auror. Teddy had never seen such an amount of gold before when he saw Harry’s Gringott’s vault. Teddy began stuffing them into his large trunk, and wondered whether he could do it by magic. He had no way of controlling the gift he had until he had a wand and learned the proper spells, but he could try to see what would happen if he concentrated hard enough. He screwed up his face and stood there, planting his feet hard against the ground. He opened his eyes a bit and saw that one of his shirts had gotten up and was wiggling in the air a bit, but then it dropped back with a feeble thud.

He shook his head and continued stuffing his stuff manually.

He finished with his clothes, then grabbed the huge vat of Wolfsbane potion he kept with him and stowed it inside.

His father, Remus Lupin, had been a werewolf. An unfortunate amount of werewolf genes had been passed down to him, so much, in fact, that he could transform into a wolf at the full moon, but he kept his human senses during the transformation so that he had a full memory of who people were and who were his friends and enemies. He didn’t need to feed, it was almost like being an animagus, except for the fact that his wolf form was hard to control and he had bouts of non-humane-ness at times. That was why he kept Wolfsbane potion with him at all times, just in case.

He finished stuffing everything into his trunk when he heard footsteps and his bedroom door opening.

“Ted, Harry’s here for you now,” Bill walked in. “Nice job packing!” he nodded approvingly. He clasped Teddy in a hug. “Be good to Harry, okay?”

Teddy nodded wordlessly and grabbed his trunk, making his way across the hall back towards the living room. His godfather was there waiting for him.

“See you later, Teddy,” Victoire said, hugging him.

“Yes, au revoir!” Fleur cooed, kissing him twice, upon both cheeks.

He ran forward and embraced his godfather, the only family he had left.

“Got your things?” asked Harry, nodding. “Let’s go. We’ll have to apparate again, sorry, I think Bill ran out of Floo Powder.”

Teddy shrugged. It didn’t matter. “Doesn’t matter!” he said.

“Take my arm, then.” Harry held out his arm to Teddy.

“One, two...three!”

Then the house he had grown up in, Shell cottage on the outskirts of Tinworth, was gone behind him.

[spoiler=Chapter 2]

After the uncomfortable sensation of being sucked down a rubber tube, spun until dizzy, then chewed up and spat out, Teddy found himself standing in the large, all-too-familiar place that was Harry’s large house.

He beamed as Ginny ran up to him and hugged him. “Welcome back, Teddy,” she said warmly.

All three of them grinned to themselves as their three kids barreled out of Albus’s room.

“Hey, James, Al, Lily!” Teddy hugged them all.

“Ooh! It’s Teddy Bear!” The youngest, Lily, who was a mere four or five, ran forward and jumped on Teddy’s back.

“Here, let’s go to your room now...” Harry said as James and Albus also joined the hug.

“No! Teddy can sleep in my room!”

“Then where are you going to sleep, James?” Ginny rejoined.

“I’ll share a room with Al!”

“Out of the question.” Harry said firmly, grabbing Teddy’s trunk and leading him to his room. “So how have you been?” asked Harry, sitting down on Teddy’s new bed. “Bill and Fleur been decent to you?”

Teddy nodded. “Yeah, them and Victoire have been nice to me.”

“Well listen. We’re going to the Weasley’s for the rest of the day today...is that alright with you?”

“Yup.”

“But besides that...there’s something I want to talk to you about.”

Teddy turned to his godfather, curious about his change of tone. He had changed from light to serious. “Huh? What?”

“Well, as you know, the headmistress McGonagall...well, she’s a really nice lady, and she wanted me to warn you about something. Your condition... y’know, your furry little problem...” Harry was struggling to find a good term to use for Teddy’s wolfish traits, and had resolved to use a term that the late James Potter had used for Remus Lupin’s lupine traits.

Teddy inwardly smiled, but waited for Harry to continue. “You know, some people don’t really like the fact that you’re...well...wolf-like. We’re definitely not part of that group, you’re our Teddy, how could we be? Most of the teachers at Hogwarts aren’t part of that group, but some of the students have...certain prejudices towards your type. So I just want you to be prepared.”

There it was again. People would hate him for what he was. At the wizarding prep school, a school that was designed when Teddy turned five, a school that was for wizards-to-be and where little ones would be educated about the wizarding world and the basics of the rules to be a wizard, he had been hated too and outwardly excluded from most social happenings. They knew who he was. A werewolf.

“...you understand, right?” For the second time that day, Teddy had to wait a few seconds to realize that someone was still talking to him.

“Oh yeah...yeah, I do...” Teddy said quickly.

“Good. Just remember, we love you.” Harry said with a pat to his shoulder. “I’ll see you outside, just get settled in.”

Teddy sat on his bed, deep in thought. What could he do? Nothing.

But he hated it.

Hated the fact that he was a werewolf; this he had concealed from both of his sets of parents.

He felt a growl in his throat, and hurried to suppress it. He quickly stepped forth and exited the room, still thoughtful and pensive.

“There you are, Teddy!” Harry said cheerfully. “Okay, we’re leaving for the Burrow now. Floo powder or apparating?”

“Floo powder,” Teddy said instantly, relieved that he didn’t have to go through the uncomfortable sensation again.

“Good. The rest of them have already gone with Ginny. It’s just you and me. You can go first.” invited Harry.

Teddy stepped through, threw down the powder and shouted, “the Burrow!”

He disappeared, though Harry had a quite concerned look on his face. It seemed that Teddy’s growling had gotten in the way of his pronunciation, and he was also wondering if ‘the Burrow’ was the right word to say instead of ‘Mr. and Mrs. Weasely’s house’, which was what Ginny had said with the other children.

“What the-- who’s this, Gondt?”

[spoiler=chapter 3] Teddy was greeted with unfamiliar voices, and he swallowed nervously. Where did he go? He said ‘the Burrow’, didn’t he?

“Gondt? Is this your doing?” a more regal and deep throated voice sounded nearby. There was a cloud of black ash and the room was rather dark, so he was able to scoot away from whoever this was.

“N-no, sir. I don’t know who this is!” Gondt seemed to have a weak yet firm voice. “I dunno, sir, honest!”

“Does anyone know this intruder by floo powder?”

Growls ensued; the room was more crowded than Teddy had figured. He emitted a sort of half whimper, and his face became more wolf-like.

“It has the smell of a wolf, though, but a strange one at that,” the deep-throated voice said again. “Are you su-- wait.”

Footsteps came at Teddy and Teddy was pushed roughly on the floor. He gave a small wail but could say nothing else, for he was practically frozen in fear. Where was he? What was happening?

“The only wolf brother we know of that has half a wolf scent is the half breed. Are you SURE this was not your doing, Gondt?”

Gondt shook his head; Teddy could finally see clearer. He was on some sort of raised platform, facing a crowd of what looked like-- werewolves!

Teddy became even more frightened.

“Tell us, boy, who are you and how’d you come to our burrow?”

That was it! That was how he had come here; he had said the Burrow, and this was it!

All Teddy did was shake his head and feel even more scared. His face was smeared with ash, floo powder, and grime, and he didn’t know what to do.

“Pity. But now he’s in our possession, boys! What we’ve wanted for ten years!”

Wanted? For ten years? But why? Teddy wondered, panicking. He still had a pinch of floo powder and more smeared on his face, so he could get away if he could JUST make it to a fireplace.

When the leader loosened his hold on the scruff of his jacket, he bolted.

“Get him!” The leader’s voice was outraged. Teddy knew the approximate location of the fireplace, so he threw himself towards the hearth and rolled inside.

He took a deep breath and yelled, “Mr and Mrs Weasely’s house!”

His last thoughts as a green fire consumed him were that maybe he shouldn’t have yelled where he was going when the werewolves were after him.

“Merlin’s saggy left-- there he is!”

A familiar voice emptied a of relief on his head as he stood up, covered in ash and fireplace grime. It was Ron Weasely, his adopted uncle. He looked around, and saw that the rest of the family was already there along with his grandmother and grandfather (adopted also), Mr. and Mrs. Weasely.

“Teddy! What happened?” Harry was at his side in an instant, hugging him.

After he explained what happened, everyone looked worried.

“You say you yelled out where you were going?”

“Yeah...Harry, that means they’re going to come here!” panic renewed itself in Teddy.

“No...no...there are protections on this place we can get...” Hermione, his adopted aunt, stood up. “I can do it if you’d like.”

“You’re a lifesaver...” Ron muttered into a cup of something that he had been drinking.

“Isn’t that what you always say?” instead of looking irritated, Hermione actually sounded amused.

Teddy was safe for the moment.

SOME OF THE FACTS MAY NOT BE CORRECT, BUT THEY WILL BE FIXED. YOU WILL SEE IN THE NEXT COUPLE OF CHAPTERS.

I try to make this as factually correct as possible.

This is quite good. Spelling and grammar is correct so as long as the story is consistent with itself and stays in good quality, there isn't anything to doubt. Quick suggestion, put some line gaps in between paragraphs so it's easier to read (not that it's hard to read). Also, don't refer to Voldemort as "some dark wizard" as that doesn't fit with the attitude of the wizards. They may now know that he's dead and gone forever and will probably have less fear of just his name but referring to him as "some dark wizard" is on-par with saying Hitler was "some horrible German".

Wasn't Hitler an evil german?

As promised I read it, and as I thought I was not disappointed. I will be happy to see this continued, altough I, aswell as many who will read this, will appreciate if you make spaces between paragraphs (as GPC said)

Keep up the good work :)

FIGHT THE POWER! What is the limit for a metamorphmagus anyway? Can they only change into something human or can they become animals as well? And does there physical attributes change or is it merely aesthetic? Because if they could change into anything and there changes were literal rather than purely aesthetic, that means... EDWARD SCISSORHANDS! Or something more useful...

Anyway, will you fight the power (love that phrase, FIGHT THE POWER!) or are you going to edit it to be factual? IF it's factual you'll have to make him the subject of a lot of anti-half-breed stuff or something. RADICAL-ANTI-HALF-BREED-PEOPLE!

A ) Teddy Lupin is a Metamorphmagus, like Tonks. It's only human things they can change.

B ) At the end of Deathly hallows Teddy is 19, Vitoire is something like 16/17 and is at Hogwarts.

C ) Teddy and Vitoire dont ignore each other, they're in a relationship.

A) That's what has been pointed out two posts before your one.

B & C) This is before the epilogue. When Ted starts at Hogwarts. Also have you heard of transferring? Victoire can change school at one point.

Wow, Priest, you actually got what I have in mind for Victoire.

Magnet soldier, I said things wouldn't be factually correct starting out (except for the werewolf part which I have decided to make him a awerewolf instead because it would be more interesting than just a metamorphmagus) so if I have something different than what the epilogue states, I guarantee that it will be changed in the next few chapters to come because I assure you that I have read the epliogue and the entire deathly hallows book along with the rest of the series over 90 times (no exaggeration).

Yay! *Scrolls up to read*

EDIT [spoiler=SPOILER! DON'T READ IF YOU HAVEN'T READ CHAPTER]I like it. It explained more of Ted's "Furry Little Problem" (Quoted by R.J. Lupin.) And more a little bit more about the other wolves for the chapter alone 7.5/10. Your chapters could aslo be a bit longer.
